We needed last minute rooms that took pets and had room for 3 large moving trucks. They were so helpful and accommodating! the rooms were very clean and quiet.

Fantastic hotel! Their motto “making you happy makes us happy. “ Check-in was so easy. Check out was a breeze. Every interaction in between was friendly and informative. Lisa was so sweet and so helpful in getting us a great room and great food and great restaurants. Could not be happier!

They are doing construction and hammerimg loudly consistently. They will not tell you this when you book a room. If you want to get some sleep and enjoy peace and quiet do not go here. They also do not care about the inconvenience to you!

The location, right off of I-81, was convenient. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious.

The room is clean and comfortable, there is free coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day and it's good. Free cookies too! The pool is very nice and kept at a very nice temp.

The lobby is newly styled, with comfortable seating and a 24 hour beverage bar serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate with the view of Montage Mountains. The heated pool was large and clean and plenty of clean towels available. The breakfast had a waffle station which is always a hit with the children.

This hotel is way better than the standard… they go above the basics. The breakfast is way better than the standard. Rooms were clean. Pool was clean. Plenty of towels. No problems at all. 1 to 10 scale this place was at least a 9 as far as regular hotels are concerned… its not the bellagio in vegas… but it's perfect for a family or single traveler.

Very nice stay, well maintained room. Got bumped up to a nice whirlpool room on the side of the building where I got a sun in the eye wakeup. Ugh.

This place has been by far the worst place I have ever stayed. When I walked into my room the bed was not done, bathroom did not have toilet paper! And when I called to see if they had any no one responded. When I get home I noticed an extra charge of $100 dollars! They charged me 358 for one night! When the price was 182. Caused me of smoking in the room while I myself am a none smoker. When I called to speak to the manager they refused to give me more information about the issue. Lady ended up hanging up on me.

Room was nice and clean pool was great and the staff was great lvery friendly loved it here felt like home it was a awesome stay.

Checked in quickly and arrived at a wonderful room after long day of travel. Excellent, just what I needed.

Rooms were nice I was their visiting staff was friendly only issue was we were told no food at the pool which wasn't on the rules so we had to move everything to another part of the hotel.

Unfortunately can't give too much info, just used it as a place to get a few hours of shut eye on a long road trip, but what I can say is that the place was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the representative at the desk was very friendly, especially considering we showed up at 11:30 pm. There was a breakfast provided, but we left too early to try it as we were on a time schedule for our trip. Overall seemed like a great place.

Great overall experience minus a small hangup with the payment through a third party that wasn't communicating with their service properly, but as far as I can tell it was the third party's fault not theirs. Only reason for 4 stars is the instructions for the tub jets were incorrect and our refrigerator was not cold.

Very clean, good service, bad mattress.

It was well located, my room had a great view of the local mountain and all of the staff was more than welcoming truly great people. What is good to know is that there is no hot tub but there's a fire in the lobby that more than makes up for it.

Out of all travels I do for work, I must say that this hotel and staff really set the welcome home feeling. Excellent customer service, complimentary breakfast is great and my overall experience has been well worth it. I'm very pleased with my stay here and will definitely return and recommend this establishment to ours.

A great place to stay, relax, and enjoy a swim. The view of the ski resort is fantastic. And breakfast is superior food and service. Mary does a wonderful job of breakfast and coffee. I'm an interstate trucker and I'd get out of my way for Hampton Inn Moosic!

Used this hotel when I ran Steamtown Marathon last year. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The star was very friendly and accommodating to racers.

Room was clean staff was courteous. About 5 min ride from montage mountain ski resort. Facility has a restaurant in walking distance that serves traditional fair and beer on tap.

Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Coffee is always available, but no bar, restaurant or even a snack shop. Breakfast a bit better than expected.

The rooms are clean and modern. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is usual faire found at a Hampton inn. The cookies in the afternoon are warm and delicious. The beds are comfy and bathrooms are nice. The hallways feel a little dark.

It was not the best experience I've had with Hampton inn for sure. The beds were really sad and the rooms felt dated and musty. No fridges or microwave room was tiny and not enough towels and wash clothes. No comp drink or snacks offered at check-in. Better than the super 8 but should have been better. Will probably drive little further to different Hampton next time.

Clean, decent breakfast. Not the most updated place. We stopped to break up a long car ride and it worked for us. Would be nice if the rooms all had mini fridges.

It was wonderful. Everyone here was so pleasant and helpful. Brandon and Joe are the best. Thank you to all at Hampton inn Scranton for all there help. Only one thing I was disappointed there was no biscuits and gravy.

I was traveling for work and had no say in where I stayed. I was happy here. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to find. The room was a bit dusty but overall a nice place to stay.

I have traveled a lot in my life time. I can not express how much I appreciated the entire staff here. We have been involved in a 8 to 10 year old softball tournament and stayed here for six nights. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, because our length of stay was based on our wins. They would root for us and be interested in our progress. We were so grateful for a hot meal at breakfast. It started our day off so well and gave us the energy to help us compete. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available 24/7-an absolute necessity for softball moms and dads. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this Hampton Inn in Scranton (Montage Mountain) in all seasons. There is so much to do, and you are so well treated here.

Don't meet commitments on Room Saver $ several times so stopped using them. Prices are now too high compared to competitors.

My room on the fourth floor has a nice view of the mountain. The service was very good.

The building is a little older, but everything was in good shape, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast area was better stocked/variety than other Hamptons.

Rooms are very decent, nice and clean, service and free breakfast were great. Nice size pool and jacuzzi. Not strict on pool or fitness hours so if you want a 2am swim or workout, you'll be set. Had a great weekend here.

I went for my friends birthday party it was awesome the pool is nice the coffee was good. Chocolate it was like a good breakfast was good I like the hot tub to that thing was popping what the way oh my god it was so good wow I can't wait to go there again.

This is a reasonable nice Hampton with very nice views. Maybe not exactly in the middle of everything, but not that far from amenities, either.

Location is great, lobby and rooms are all modern and recently renovated, service and breakfast are both good, though the free Wi-Fi is a bit slow. (expect to pay for their premium Wi-Fi to do anything beyond email and basic web browsing)

I used Expedia to book a room here at $89 a night, Hampton charged my card an additional $50 (for one nights stay) after telling me at the front desk at checkout that they "couldn't print me a receipt" because I booked through the internet. I was also told that they now email receipts and have" no way of printing receipts"! I am a business traveler who must turn in receipts with my expense reports. I also stayed at a Hampton in KY last week, they told me they would email the receipt but could print it if I wanted it right then. I had a flight and saw nothing wrong with having it emailed. 2 weeks later and I am still waiting even after verifying they had my email address.

I stay here once or twice per month. I can't believe after three months they can't get the ice machines fixed. It is very inconvenient. Please fix them.

I did not stay at this hotel, but had an excellent experience here. My friends and I broke down on the way home from a trip and pulled into their parking lot. They were very gracious and allowed us to stay warm in their lobby while we used their computers and resources to obtain the services we needed. They also offered the hospitality treats (cookies, coffee, tea) to us even though we were not guests. The bathroom and lobby were very clean and welcoming and the staff was very friendly. Can't it five stars because we did not actually stay in a room, but I appreciated the service they extended to us.

Stopped in without a reservation and was sold a room. The room was outfitted as an accessible room but it was fine for a place to sleep on short notice. Great breakfast and free Wi-Fi included with rooms. If my room neighbors were more considerate it would have been more pleasant.

We stayed Feb 10, 2008 after skiing at Elk Mountain. The facility was average but clean and the staff was nice. The pool is not heated so it is brisk in winter. The hot tube was only luke warm at best and was not worth sitting in. The free hot breakfast was good for a free breakfast and was well stocked from 6AM till 10AM. I would not suggest having dinner at Mugg's Restaurant next door unless you just want sandwiches. I had the meatloaf and it reminded me of the old Swanson's frozen meals.
