We had an awesome stay over the past weekend. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was very nice. The indoor pool and hot tub were excellent, and we will definitely be back.

I would recommend your Hotel and conference center for any venue. We had classmates from Kansas, Conn. Texas, Md. And of course surrounding areas. You offered our classmates a weekend to remember.

Our wedding at the Hilton Scranton was absolutely outstanding. The staff, especially Meghan who coordinated our wedding, was exceptional every step of the way. Food was fantastic, service was punctual and the overall experience was impeccable. I would recommend the Hilton to any bride looking for an experience that is all encompassing. Last night my husband and I had our wedding at the Hilton and let me tell you, the staff is 100 percent on their game and amazing! We could have never gotten through the last year of planning without Meghan and would recommend this venue EVERY TIME!

Great place to stay in downtown Scranton. Clean comfortable room with many amenities to choose from. Very nice fitness center and pool/spa area. The breakfast was great! Every member of the breakfast staff was friendly and accommodating. A pleasure to dine there each morning.

The Hilton was able to accommodate my stay after a bad experience at another hotel on short notice. The staff could not have been any nicer or helpful! The room was clean, and very comfortable. I can’t empathize enough on how great the staff was. Thanks Luke!

I'm mostly basing this review on two things: first, my company had events catered here and the food was pretty terrible. It was a multiple day even so I'm basing this off 5 catered meals. I would rate the food 1.5 stars. Second, on my last night in the hotel, the fire alarm kept going off and we evacuated twice. This is likely a once in a lifetime occurrence that you would not experience, but it made my stay horrible. Other than the multiple fire alarms, I thought the room was ok.

This is our go to hotel when in Scranton. On the plus side: great location, nice pool, decent workout room, nice bar & restaurant. Rooms are spacious and clean. This past trip we noticed that they are slacking off on the maintenance. The digital clock was only view-able about 10% of the time. Toilet only flushed if you held the handle for 6 seconds. Some of the outlet covers were loose. All small things.

The man behind the desk was courteous and patient and directed me right to where I needed to go. He also knew the amended policy in place for my event and did his due diligence when pressed. The Casey ballroom was very nice and I enjoyed my time there.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and my anniversary was wonderful. From a really good recommendation for dinner to a few drinks in the hotel bar & breakfast in the restaurant — everything was beautiful. We definitely plan on going back!

I had the pleasure of working with Meghan and her staff for a wedding reception last weekend. I own an award winning wedding entertainment company and the wedding marked our highest production event in the history of my company. From one wedding professional to the othet, Meghan’s hard work, flexibility, ease of communication, dedication and above all amazing custom service made the wedding reception a tremendous success! The food was phenomenal and the chicken was cooked pe…rfectly. Also the presentation of the food was spot on and really paid close attention to detail. The venue space includes a grand ball room with modern chandeliers and neutral colors. This combination is a lighting and interior decorator designers dream because we can drastically enhance the mood and atmosphere. I highly recommend checking out this venue for your upcoming wedding reception or corporate event. Teaming up with Meghan and an all-star cast of vendors will make your reception an award winning experience!

It is a Hilton Hilton does have a brand identity. In two words, I would say "affordable quality. " There is nothing wrong with this Hilton. The 1910 Bar & Restaurant is pleasant and the food is more than just satisfactory. The exercise room is recent and has good equipment. There is also an attractive indoor pool. The rooms are what you would expect from a Hilton. What makes this Hilton different than many is the level of service. The management team and staff seem to make a conscious effort to make guests' stays as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. In short, this is the hotel of choice in Scranton, PA.

In town for a second time to help lawyers with focus groups. If you visit Scranton for business, I highly recommend the Hilton. Very courteous staff and clean rooms. Also walking distance to some great restaurants and local attractions.

Like others posted, the parking situation was kind of a pain. Besides that, all of the other reviews about the staff being EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating were also 100% correct. These guys were the best. Will definitely be stopping back next time I'm in northern PA.

Nice enough but its over priced. I hear noises consistently throughout the night. You have to pay for parking in a garage with no security or attendant. Just an arm that raises to let you in and out. Anyone can walk into the garage from the street. Plus you're walking over to another building to the garage. Will not choose it again.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and refrigerators in every room. On site restaurant is nice and good is great. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at the Scranton Hilton many times while visiting family in the area. The staff has always been accommodating, but on our most recent trip they were outstanding. We checked in with Sue, who sent another employee, Curtis, out to buy a medication I had forgotten to pack. The next night Curtis drove us in the hotel shuttle to do an errand that was beyond walking distance. They refused to accept reimbursement, saying "this is what we do. " Our room was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was enhanced by omelets made to order by a chef who could easily be a hit as a standup comedian. The garage was next door, making it necessary to leave the hotel and walk a short distance. Some might find that short walk inconvenient, especially in winter weather. Otherwise the downtown location was very convenient and close to the University of Scranton. The Scranton Hilton was, in my estimation, excellent, and I can honestly say that I have never encountered personnel so eager to assist. My one small suggestion is that the housekeeping staff check for occasional smudges on the woodwork.

I really enjoyed staying here, not because of the location or the actual rooms themselves (though they are nice) The reason I liked it so much was because of the staff. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE from the front desk to the custodial staff Always had a smile, were always frendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I only took one star off because of the soaps they have switched to. They are using Lavender based soaps, shampoos etc and as someone who is sensitive/allergic to lavender it was not nice to see that in my room. However with that being said. The staff went out of their way to find me product that didn’t have lavender in it for the duration of my stay.

Nice room. Indoor pool and basic fitness room. Hard to beat the location for any events downtown.

Solid Hilton hotel in center city location. No executive lounge. Breakfast buffet is slightly above average for a Hilton. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub good. Liked that pool wasn't cold. Parking is 9.95 per night, regardless of whether garage has cheaper weekend rate. Parking feels overpriced for the area. Rooms are quiet and contain refrigerators and safes.

Very beautiful environment. Some of the event was crammed in and some was well spread out. Overall we had a great experience. Definatley a fun time. Felt very welcome and comfortable when created by the staff.

Location is in downtown Scranton. Rooms are visually pleasing. Lobby is beautiful. Staff are very friendly. Dinner at the in hotel restaurant is great. Only real complaint that I have is that the iron in my room does not get hot enough on the hottest setting. The wrinkles in my shirt were still there. I borrowed a different model iron from a coworker to finish my ironing.

We arrived early and had no problems checking in. Enjoyed watching the game at PJs pub great atmosphere and the best French onion soup ever. But the open area allowed for the frozen tundra air from the lobby area to filter throughout. Also we were with a wedding party and booked early in a reserved block but found out others that booked late out of the block paid less! Really? Then there was an additional fee ($9.95) to self park down the block. Our room was two queens and a very large bathroom. However the bathroom had no ventilation for when you did So please keep door closed. The shower didn't get above 60* and I don't need or want a cold shower but it got me out quickly. There was a breakfast buffet $13.95 pp all you can eat that was really delicious included made to order omlets, toast, muffins, fruit, gravy biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon and so much more!

First we want to thank Sue and Luke for making our Christmas stay so inviting and wonderful. We were alone for Christmas and decided to go out of town. We ended up at the Raddison across the street. While the lobby of the Historic Hotel is amazing the rooms have A LOT to be desired. We decided to check out and got across the street to the Hilton. We were so happy that we did. From the time we walked in we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Sue and Luke made sure we had a lovely room for our 3 night stay. We also had our little dogs with us and they gave them treats and treated them special. I want to add that ANY staff member we met on Christmas Eve and Christmas were always smiling and not be grudging working on the Holidays. I have to also say the food was so good for a Hotel. The Breakfast every morning was better than the Buffet breakfast we had had at the Fairmont in San Francisco! Everything was fresh and made to order. Our omelets were hot and perfect. We had FRESH homemade Blueberry Pancakes. The coffee was great and the staff again was extremely nice and always smiling. Our room was appointed well with fresh clean white linens. We had a HUGE TV. Our bathroom and shower was clean and newly tiled with modern large and beautiful. Our room was large and we had a view that overlooked the city and mountains. We just can't say enough about this hotel and staff. They ALL deserve bonuses! We have stayed at A LOT of Hotels and by far this HILTON tops our list!

Attended a wedding here. Very nice decor and layout for the wedding… tons of room too. Food was pretty good, not necessarily amazing, but the risotto was delicious. Service staff was excellent.

Me and wife always stay here at the Hilton when visiting family. The staff and customer service is impeccable! Everything is five star here from the delicious food to beautiful rooms! I have to say that this the best hotel's to ever stay at you won't be disappointed! Thanks! ☺

Hotel stay was fine. Room was nice and clean. There was a lot of smoke smell in the hallway but not in my room. The breakfast was lacking. Service at breakfast was pretty bad. Hoping it was just an off day.

Fantastic front desk staff, accommodating and helpful with suggestions. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was fun and tasty. Pub was also good. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay — the room was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. My only complaint was that the A/C unit was kind of loud.

Rooms are a little old and could use updates. I'll pass on the bfast brunch, def not worth the price. Loved the hotel bar, it's actually open late which is nice!

I love that every employee was so nice to our little yorkie puppy. When we arrived one of the employees held our puppy so we could check in and gave him a little treat. During breakfast we were already checked out and we had our puppy Bronx with us so one of us couldn't eat. The employees setup a closed room for us to eat with our dog and brought him a milk bone. Highly recommend this hotel.

Attended relatives wedding, staff was very attentive and friendly during our visit. The young woman at the Starbucks even honoured a request usually reserved for the "Corporate Only" stores. Would highly recommend.

Both the staff and housekeeping are great! Very polite and respectful. Housekeeping is very respectful of your things in the rooms when coming in to refresh things, not to mention, they do an excellent job cleaning and keeping the rooms looking nice. The beds and the pillows are the softest I have ever slept on. Very impressive. The food service is a little slow, but very polite and the shuttle service staff was quick, very amicable, and dependable. All, in all, I had a very comfortable stay. In fact, I almost didn't want to leave lol.

Clean room smooth reservation and check in. I noticed toilet was running, and had a broken flapper when I checked out the bathroom. They had it fixed within 20 minutes, so no real complaints. I got a little sloshy at the bar on rye whiskey, which inspired me to return to the room and watch Hardball with Chris Matthew's. God damn it Trump is profoundly unqualified for the presidency. Unqualified, almost, to even form or have ideas. It always comes back to Trump doesn't it? Like a first and second quarter 2017 Godwin's law. The hotel was fine, I would stay again. But some where else, Scranton kind of sucks.

Great location near Scranton University and Riverfront Sports. Great bar and near other historic and tourist spots. Definite recommend.

They were very responsive to the fact that we arrived in a truck that couldnt park in garage. They made other provisions for us. Very helpful.

Food was pretty average given that there was an entire hall of hungry teenagers. It still ran out halfway through the line, but they kept churning out sandwiches with minimal delay. Seating was pretty good, but very packed.

I attended a conference here. The staff is wonderful! The facility is in good condition. Its just starting to show its age with worn carpets and such. Would definitely book this facility if I wanted to host a conference in Scranton. It's the best in town. Only real negative is parking is not free.

Beds are not actually king sized. We cut our visit short bc my husband is very tall and doesn't fit on the bed. Engineering measured the beds and 3 supposed king beds are actually queen size. Staff was nice but we won't stay again.

Everyone should get married at the Hilton Scranton! We got married almost 2 months ago, and people are still telling me how the attitude, professionalism, and accommodation of the staff was unlike any other wedding they've ever been to. Every single person I came in contact with during my entire planning experience with the Hilton was incredibly helpful and extremely nice! I can't even put into words how amazing the Hilton (ESPECIALLY catering sales manager Lacey Woodrow) was to work with. Our wedding was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, and none of it would have happened without the attentiveness and just general expertise of Lacey Woodrow. I seriously cannot say one bad thing about our entire experience with them.

Rooms are nice, lobby is welcoming, and location is easily accessible. Bar is mediocre. Views are mediocre.

Great room and friendly staff. Their shuttle service was excellent for my med school interview. Wi-Fi was poor though at less than 1 Mbps and I would have liked a free continental breakfast. If you want a comfy bed though, look no further.

This place is like fresh laundry… nice and clean. HD TV and amenities like indoor pool and gym solidify this as a great hotel.

I've never stayed here, but I have been here for Sunday brunch. I wasn't impressed. The food was not fresh, the service was not very friendly, and it felt mediocre at best. The lobby and facilities look beautiful and I know that others who have stayed here have enjoyed it, but the food could certainly use a boost.

Great location close to restaurants and shopping. Clean and nicely kept hotel. Often get rate including breakfast and the buffet breakfast is very good! Staff are very friendly, we've been here pretty much every year for 6 years, never hesitate to return. Only comment for staff consideration is the pool/hot tub. It's a great area, very spacious, but the pool is very cold and the hot tub is very hot! Literally, almost too hot to sit in. Ideally the pool could be warmed up and the hot tub cooled down a smidge. Overall though great hotel, highly recommend.

I've stayed at this hotel for business a few times. The staff is curious, the rooms are modern and clean, and the amenities are top notch including a full gym, salt water pool, and restaurant and bar.

Prior to looking for wedding venues, my fiancée and I knew what we were looking for. The Hilton Scranton Conference Center met all of our needs. There was a beautiful prefunction space for our cocktail hour and an absolutely gorgeous ballroom for our reception. The location was also ideal for us. We had a lot of out of town guests and there were all able to stay at the location for an affordable rate. Now it is very important to say, while we knew the Hilton would meet our needs we were astounded by how far they absolutely surpassed our expectations! The Wedding market is very difficult to navigate, but Lacey Woodrow Houck made everything so easy. She was easily accessible, extremely knowledgeable and absolutely essential to making our day PERFECT! We had a private tasting of the wedding meal prior to choosing our menu, and were highly impressed on the wedding day with how wonderful the food was. The ballroom was absolutely beautiful. Lacey and the banquet staff at the Hilton are absolutely amazing. After the wedding, we received several compliments from the guests. They were so pleased with the service during the reception they were all leaving more tips. I heard so many whispers about how much people enjoyed the Hilton staff during the reception. There were also many compliments regarding the room service. Some out of town guests stayed the whole weekend and were so impressed with their rooms and the room service.

Very accommodating as far as the hotel side. They did a great job hosting USAPL Raw Nationals but the restaurant downstairs was a different story… not only did they manage to take over an hour to get myself and my athlete's food out (while mind you, there were a total of possibly 4-6 total guests already seated and eating), they had managed to completely fumble the bill between myself and our guests, copped a horrible attitude when requested assistance with the bill, did not provide 1 of the appetizers that was requested and did a poor job preparing the meals as well to the concern of possible issues with sanitation. Luckily the GM handled the situation on from the hotel side, and was more than respectful to the situation. Stay here, do not bother eating here.

My experience at the Hilton, occur with a last minute option to get a room for day use only. The hotel was clean as well as my room. The staff seemed to be friendly yet my day wasn't over yet. The bathroom shower drain water didn't go through when I took a shower. Then when my girlfriend and I went to eat dinner. The waitress took our ordered but took more than 40 min to bring our food to us. She was busy talking to other people at the bar area. And hadn't noticed that our food was ready until I mentioned it to a manager. Which he didn't do much for us. Finally our food came to us, the food was good but my girl friends cheese on her burger seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Finally when we were about to check out. I advised the front desk about the issue we had. They didn't seem to care at all. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience specially when my girlfriend had been a ex Hilton worker.

Been going there for the past four years, about 2-3 times each year. Never had a bad stay. Clean rooms great food and staff is always helpful.

Hotel was expensive compared to others I have stay in in Scranton but if the experience was ok that would be fine. I asked for a cot and was told it would be an additional $20 (whereas at less expensive hotels they've been free). The cot was not in the room when we arrived. The toliet did not flush properly. There were only 3 towels even though we had 4 guests. I called for a towel in the morning and then had to ask again, 45 minutes later, at the front desk. Additionally was suprised that breakfast was not included, as it is at less expensive hotels. Staff at front desk and in restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here following the night of my wedding. We had about 30-40 rooms booked and none of my wedding guests had any complaints! My husband and I were treated well, and our entire wedding partied the night away at the bar. Service was good, staff was very pleasant. Our room was clean and the typical hotel room. Price of the room was also very reasonable. Nice pool and gym facilities on premises. Would stay here again!
