1. Shower was filthy 2. Shower was extremely small 3. Shower head was only chest high 4. Shower head had gaping hole where it came out of wall 5. Shower water fluctuated from cold to hot. 6. Mattresses were felt like sleeping on box springs you could actually fill the springs and were very noisy. 7. House keeping didn't make the beds and left the towels on the unmade beds without bath mat. 8. Bathroom was filthy.

Terrible room (s). Had 3 rooms for my family. Building needs some major upgrade. My room had cobwebs on the entire ceiling which I had to clean before the kids would even sleep on the bed. Other rooms also had insects and bugs inside the room but not as bad as my room. I do understand that this is a budget motel but we should not have to sacrifice basic comfort for a price. I have stayed at Motel 6 in the past in other locations. This has to be the worst.

Great welcome at check-in. Thank you Jackie for being so helpful and kind. Nicely updated room, modern. Love the wood floors, never seen that in a hotel before. Great service and room for the rates we paid!

I got a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. Dead bolt was not working. Outside door was peeling. Room was clean. This time my room did not smell.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Motel is older and in pretty area with big trees, rose bushes and green grass. Location abit out of the way which is a plus or minus depending on your needs. It was very quiet. We were allowed to check in early which was nice. But room was dirty, sheets had not been changed. Staff did service room when we complained.

I had a great time while I stood there the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that the housekeeping staff didn't come into my room because my husband had his service dogs although we told them that we would be out of the room all day. Aside from that it was quiet and peaceful place to spend the weekend. Easy to find off the high way and easy to get back on. Lots of food spots near too!

I must say for being a Motel 6 this is one of the most Pleasant stays I've had in years. The general manager Maggie was very helpful. I'm not from this area and she was able point me to several attractions and great places to eat in the 3 days that I stayed here I would recommend this particular Motel 6 to any at all.

Motel 6 has been around for years and has always been a decent room without extras. They take pets which is helpful, and don't charge extra. Some are better than others, this one is fine, it's updated. Motels are convenient for handicapped to access.

Only two stars for my favorite color being on the walls… Cracked paint on door… Door needs maneuvered to close… Water pressure? Flies… spiders… new toilet… nice flooring… nice tv… plenty of channels… if you just need a place to sleep, shower, get dressed and move on, ok… not a lap of luxury, for sure…

Room 320 has a VERY touchy shower faucet… micro-inches between scalding hot and tepid. Takes awhile to adjust the faucet for a comfortable temp setting. You should check it out before a guest burns himself. otherwise, an enjoyable stay. I have stayed at you hotel probably 10 times or more over the past 15 aprils. is it true that the closer it gets to making a reservation for any particular date (s), your rate goes up? rick.

The location is Great. Convenient to Interstate 83 and 76 easy commute Carlisle. Your staff is very accommodating and friendly. The paint is peeling off the doors just the back of the hotel and has been this way for years. The door on room 336 looks like someone tried to push it open and from the lock to the floor it was bowed out. In the bathroom the Sheetrock outside of the shower stall had black mold growing on it which I cleaned off. The room was a clean room.

Crack rock on the night table walking in the door! Boiling hot water or freezing cold for your shower, no in between! Fan fell from ceiling in the bathroom into the glass shower! And the best part of the whole stay with my CHILDREN the hired help are MEN ON WORK RELEASE FROM THE PRISON! but they don't tell you that! Only reason we knew was my husband was talking to the guys while they were working! & these prisoners have keys to your room and walk right in! They watch your daughters when they go out of the room! Don't walk away. Run! Highly do not recommend staying here especially if you have children with you!

Don't. Just don't. While there are some decent employees, their attitude toward your privacy and safety are negligible. They allow the local police to eavesdrop on your room, attempt to spy in your windows, even to the point of them trying forwarded, and if you complain the manager will ban you from the property… Probably so she can continue to berate the staff with foul language and threats like she always does when she thinks none of the guests are in earshot (yeah, Maggie, I heard it several times, and it's no wonder you can't keep employees and you can't manage to get them to clean rooms so that you have then available for guests) The place is cheap, and that is the only amenity. Rooms have insects, the beds are junk, probably new in 2005, and the linens are stained and should be retired. The water pressure is a joke, and when it does come it smells weird and is yellow. There is mildew in the bathroom, and non-smoking rooms reek of cigarettes.

The staff was sweet and respectful. They were also very helpful with local spot to eat at. I would recommend this hotel to all family and friends that visiting harrisburg.

Great night staff! Very very helpful. Really caring staff. Best hotel I've stayed in for a while. The rooms are nice. It is worth every penny!

Relatively clean. Cheap. Allows dogs. Beds are too soft and mad it hard to sleep. However, when the people upstairs started an arguing match at 4:30am, the front desk took care of it right away.

A good deal for the price. Clean room and linens, towels. However, as a woman traveling alone, albeit with my dog, a room on the backside of the motel, pretty much as far from the front desk as it could be, in a hotel situated right off the interstate, is not exactly ideal. I would suggest always offering rooms close to the front office to solo female travelers. To me this is a safety issue. Only other thing was the shower. It took forever to get hot, and then it was scalding! When I turned it down, it took forever to cool off, then it was freezing. Very difficult to regulate the temperature.

Super Fantastic Staff! Best Motel 6 ever. The manager here really must have a easy job because this staff is awesome… The rooms were exceptionally clean! I will be back!

It was fine. But, for sure, you should have a coffee pot in each room! A microwave and small fridge would be nice, but if not that, at least a coffee maker.!

Great and helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere. Easy access to restaurants stores etc. We will definitely stay there again.

The young man at the check in counter was outstanding. Courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful. I had asked for a first floor, quiet room and he was able to provide me with a corner room on the first floor. It was clean and warm so was very pleased. The only complaint… was not the quiet I need to sleep. I guess the corner room must be right under pipes, or something as every 15-25 minutes, as I'd be trying to fall asleep, it sounded like an elephant trumpeting. So… no sleep for me… other than that… I was very pleased with the accommodations.

Simple, easy on and easy off of I83. Great places to eat within 10 minutes. Clean but no frills in our $45 room. Fridge and microwave for $5 more. Staff was friendly and helpful! Great value for a stopover. I have the manager's card for our next trip.

The first room I was assigned was not the room I reserved. They quickly gave me another room. The room I ended up in was nothing like what was advertised online. I was led to believe I had reserved a room with a kitchenette (which was pictured) but all I got was a mini microwave and a lukewarm student refrigerator. When I went back to the office, the attendant informed me that was a room with a kitchenette. There was only one body towel. I requested towels 3 times before I got them. During that process, I was informed at the desk that housekeeping insisted they had already delivered the towels (really, did you just call me a liar? )

The room is really just down right gorgeous, especially for the price I was so nervous. But it's not bad. At All! Water pressure could be better. Cable TV (HBO) Flat Screen. Comfortable bed. Nice Service. I would stay again. Hope I helped someone. Cause I know I always look at reviews.

Clean. Updated. Amazing rates. Great location for downtown Harrisburg and Hershey Park (About 20-25 mins away from Hershey Park). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean outside pool. Will recommend to others and will definitely stay here every time I'm in the area.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff do an incredible job! I happened to drop a $50 bill as I was entering my room and a housekeeping lady noticed so she picked it up and immediately called for my attention, then proceeded to hand it back to me stating, "You dropped this and I dont steal. " People like her deserve recognition for their hard work and honesty. She was very pleasant and made my stay even better!

My stay could of been better. Id like to see the rooms not smell of smoke if a non smoker room. When I stay with my kids they should have a bit more space in the room. Towels shouldn't be a shortage. Night desk clerks shouldn't have visitors hanging out behind the desk. There should be a Continental Breakfast as well. I'd like to see more pillows too.

Stay often, with family in area. Cheap for the area. Comfortable beds. But not the cleanest. Hairs occasionally left behind. I always double check sheets before using. Microwaves unchecked, leftovers from prior guests. Nonsmoking but other guests always complain of some smells. Eh it's cheap.

Well, the price is certainly right. Not happy Wi-Fi costs extra, that's a gimmick! But shower head is so low you need to contort to get under it. Also, the sink is at a child's height. Almost at my knees! Is it as a fancy urinal? IDK. They really need to pay attention to the cleanliness of shower door. It is all moldy and caked with grunge in the tracks, and the glass doors are streaked with minerals and soap scum. Easy fix! But I liked a walk in shower over a tub. Bed was a little soft and they could have thrown in two more pillows but it was a welcome sight for driving 2 days without one. I would stay again for price. People were nice.

Clean comfortable room. Fridge & microwave, oh that's $3/day extra; ya we got Wi-Fi; that's $3/day/device extra. Reminds me of Value (less) Place nickle & dimen you to death.

The place is dirty. Commode and shower dirty. Floors are dirty. Shower curtain dirty. Also non smoking room with burn holes in the spread and in the shower. Will never stay at one again.

I am in my room as we speak and it's one of the dirtiest rooms I've stayed in. I travel the US building cellular networks and I stay in hotels about 300+ nights per year and this place ranks in the top 5 worst I've stayed in over an 11 year period. Toilet had dry urine all over it, shower door is so dirty I can barely see thru it, the water is barely luke warm. You have to pay for the Wi-Fi, which is very slow! I paid for two night but I will be check img out in the AM to look for another hotel! I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Had a very nice stay. The room was clean, the TV (flat screen) and AC/Heater worked fine. The bed was comfortable. The price was great. Please note that this is a real basic room no fridge, microwave, or free internet. That said if your looking for a good clean room, great bed this is a good deal.

A very EXCELLENT budget conscience place to stay for a few days! The nightly rate was exceptional; the weekend rate was $43.99 nightly and $5 nightly for internet connection, as of 3/18/16. This no frill hotel has good amenities for travelers: (on site laundry room, HBO and shopping within 5 — 10 minutes from hotel location). Nestled in a QUIET, close knit community and close to several major metropolitan areas, the hotel staff was friendly and the room was exceptionally clean in comparison to hotels in larger cities! I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers who are experienced.

Desk clerk was very nice room was good and clean. As good as it can get for the cost. Would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone traveling in PA.

The shower water is true. Either burning hot or freezing cold. Glad I paid for a week at this place and can barely shower. The only reason I am here is because of a family emergency and this place allows dogs. That and their friendly staff is the only redeeming factor. I was locked out of my room my first full day here for two hours at 9 pm because apparently "it happens from time to time" Thankfully I decided to take my dogs out all at once. Their "hi speed internet" isn't even strong enough to keep up with Netflix. And if you are going to make a motel dog friendly, you should clean under the beds. You should do that anyway. Dirt, dust and little pieces of garbage all under the beds. You can clearly tell they were too lazy to even try to clean under the bed. It's like looking at a fresh blanket of undisturbed snow, except it's dust and garbage. And I think there are specs of blood on the wall.

We were forced to stay here due to a screw up with our reservations at another hotel. Front desk staff was not friendly and smoking in the lobby. Our sheets were dirty upon arrival and when we asked for a new set we were given attitude. Housekeeping looked very sketchy so we requested none. Tons of bugs, no water pressure and what water did come out u had a choice of scalding hot or freezing cold no warm making showers very difficult to say the least. There's no clocks in the rooms and the TV has maybe 5 working channels. The Wi-Fi wasn't free like at every other hotel on the planet. Elevator smelled like weed and was totally dirty, and you took chances on the stairs as they are falling apart. If it weren't for the other cars there one would have thought it was abandoned due to all the spider webs covering every thing. There's clear evidence of the owner not taking pride or ownership in his motel. Nothing about my stay would make me ever come back, not even if there were no other rooms available anywhere, I'll sleep in my car!

Ok this was my second time staying at this location. The first time there was blood on the sheets. They came and changed the bed and ask that I give them a second chance. So I did. The first thing I did was checked the sheets. This time the room was dirty. Floor needed to cleaned. The bedding around the bed looked dirty. I went to the front desk and requested to have it cleaned. It was better when I returned but I shouldn't have to ask to have my room cleaned before I have had a chance to use it. The last time there were kids running around screaming as they were playing. I don't mind the playing but the screaming was a problem. The last time a young boy told me to move my car so they could play football in the parting lot. Of course that didn't happen. Grateful that didn't happen this time. But the kids running up and down screaming was a issue again. We are talking about 10 and 11 at night. I won't be back.

This is a good hotel if you are looking for something reasonably clean (shower could have been cleaner and there was food on the drapes) and well priced in the Hershey area. The pool was a nice added bonus and probably the best amenity this hotel has to offer. The bed was hard, the ac leaked, and they seemed very inefficient the day we checked in (our room as well as at least 5 other guests that came after us) were all told that our rooms were not available upon check in. The room is not very big if you are traveling with a family. I would stay here gain if I needed a crash pad after a day at Hershey Park. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday for under $140 total while most hotels in the Hershey area were more than that for 1 night. The staff was also efficient in handling our requests for extra pillows, remote etc.

100 times better then I expected. Nice clean room and 55 dollar nightly rate.

The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. It was very quiet and had convenient parking. There were also restaurants, fast food and dine in, close by as well as gas stations. It was also easy access on and off the interstate. I will stay here again and will recommend it to others.

First experience at this hotel and it was horrible from start to finish. When we got there they had no rooms ready and said it would be 45min at least. The girl at the front desk had a horrible attitude and was a complete "B" we made reservations online and got charged $10 more than our reservation price. Plus our non-smoking room stunk of smoke. Will never stay here again.

They are doing new things all the time to make it look great and the staff is so friendly it is amazing they make you feel like you are at home.

The rooms are always very clean and the staff is polite and helpful. I like that its quiet and my rooms always have a lot of space. It really doesn't matter whether it has a mini frig or microwave to me or not thats not very important what is important is that its always clean and that the staff is always friendly and helpful and that I can just relax and enjoy my time spent there. So thank you to the staff for making my weekends relaxing and comfortable.

Overprice for this simple motel.
