Found we were staying here during our daughters wedding. Check-in was fast and smooth with Maria, making it a very pleasant experience after a long and tiring day of setting up the wedding venue. The room was spacious and very clean with a large King size bed. We slept like a dream on a firm, comfortable mattress.
Breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise with muffins, bagels, danish, fresh fruits, a waffle bar and eggs, sausage and Canadian bacon along with yogurts, oatmeal and multiple morning beverage selections.
All staff we encountered greeted us with a smile and greeting.
If you find yourself in the Harrisburg area and looking for a great overnight experience I strongly suggest the Fairfield at Marriot Harrisburg West. Just off the Limekiln exit!

Room was pretty and very clean! My only problem was no electrical outlet near the bed stand. Only way to charge my phone overnight was on the desk across the room. Not convenient if you need phone by your bed at night.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. One staff member got me a cup of OJ for my afternoon mimosas. She went out of her way to help!

I don't think I could ever give a Marriott 5 stars simply because they put the book of mormon in their beside tables. Not that other hotels with bibles are any better, but really, John Smith was a special kind of con artist, stop promoting his nonsense. Otherwise, the hotel had a bit of a musty smell but it wasn't awful. The woman working at the check-in was pleasant to deal with and 12pm checkout is nice.

I work here and everyone is so nice! The front desk people will do anything they can to make your stay better. I am a housekeeper and they make sure everything is perfect.

Overall this hotel isn't bad. I will say this is my first time staying at a fair field generally I stay in Marriott and Courtyard. Front Desk — the front desk staff was extremely polite, well versed. And was in the proper attire. Lobby — the lobby is recently updated, very modern, well cleaned and was inviting a pond walk Room — the room was extremely clean and recently updated. Not as many lighting fixtures as a Residence Inn or a courtyard. And Less Furniture. The mattresses were okay. And the pillows were less than desirable. The worst part about my room is that if you are in the rear of the hotel you are a butting up against the highway and you will literally hear every, single, sound that comes off the road. It was impossible to get any sleep. I was on the second floor and could hear every child screaming in the pool area until it closed. If you are staying here for anything other than Leisure make sure to stay in the front of the hotel or you will not be able to get any peace and quiet and or at work completed. The Wi-Fi was fast and had no issues, they did also have a direct Lan connection. Bathroom — the bathroom did have less amenities in it than the residence Inns or courtyards, but was extremely clean and a zero mold no pitted Chrome no spider webs. Overall a very clean bathroom. Since this is a very basic in there are not any connected eateries or amenities other than the fitness room and the pool.

Front desk staff was super friendly. Check in was quick and when I asked what time breakfast starts, they kindly said 7 am. I was super impressed with our room, a 2 queen bed suite. A little noisy because of highway nearby, but I was still able to sleep. Get an EVEN number room because the highway is on the back side of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, and made me feel ready for the day. Great clean bathrooms. Overall a 5 star stay.

I couldn't possibly rate them higher. Check in was fast and easy, once I was settled in my room I got a phone call to make sure everything was up to standards. Room was quiet and cozy. This will be my go to place whenever I am in Harrisburg!

I only stayed one night and left before breakfast so my rating is based on staff and room. The young lady behind the check in counter was very friendly and took time to give me a list of nearby restaurants and places that deliver. She also gave me recommendations when I asked for them. The room was large and clean but surprisingly the closet was very small. The bathroom was clean which is very important to me. I do recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay overnight.

We were in room 302 and it was extremely noisy from highway traffic. Hotel is in a nice location… near food, gas and so on.

Clean, inexpensive. Great space in the rooms. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Do you like trucks? You know the ones I mean, big, loud, run all night tractor trailer trucks? If so, maybe you'll like this hotel more than I did. I probably got a total of 3 hours of fitful sleep due to the sound of them constantly whizzing by all night and the lights from the parking lot glaring into my room. This thanks to the fact that there was no blind like you would often find in a contemporary hotel that doesn't let you close the curtains. Combine that with the fact that the cable wasn't working and a dismal restaurant recommendation from the desk (Boomerangs is a gimmicky restaurant with mediocre food that even the locals seem to avoid based upon the lack of a crowd on a Friday night) and my stay was just plain miserable overall. At least there was free Wi-Fi.

You might not expect much from a Fairfield Inn, but I'll say that we were very pleased with our stay. We were just there one night, the room was clean, the bed and pillows were really comfortable. A free breakfast topped it off for us. I'm normally a Residence Inn or Courtyard kinda guy, but I would stay here again.

Stayed here with 2 adults and 3 kids ages 13, 11, 9 in room 319 with 2 queens and a pullout. The pool is small — 14' x 22'. More than 3 kids playing and it's crowded. Nice hot tub, though. Staff was kind and friendly — even called after a few minutes to be sure the room was good. Mattresses and pillows were firm. ***** GET AN EVEN NUMBERED ROOM ***** We were right next to highway and there was traffic all night. Even woke us over the white noise makers on our phones. Can't blame the staff for that but it makes for a long ride home.

I have been staying at the hotel for the past month 4-5 nights a week for work and I have stayed at two other hotels in the area. This is by far the nicest one. Staff is extremely friendly, they got to know me quickly. They knew I liked to check in early and always had my room ready and I like to check out at 1 bc my shifts starts at 2 and it was never a problem and after the 2nd time didn’t even have to ask. Wendy at the front desk is very nice and gets to know her customers, other staff is very nice too but I don’t know their names, like the gentleman that keeps the coffee and kitchen area clean during the day and the male cleaner. Rooms are always clean, beds and pillows are comfy. Breakfast is good, albeit small, there are enough options and the food is good enough you will be full. This will hands down be the hotel I stay at when here for work and will recommend it to anyone. I’ve asked my company to make this the hotel choice for the area.

We stayed at Fairfield in Mt. Sterling, KY. 4-6times a year until they sold out to Comfort Inn. It was clean, comfortable, the staff was top-notch. If given a choice of convenience, I would choose Fairfield every time!

The accommodations were wonderful, but the breakfast meal needs more of a variety.

It was clean and the beds we comfortable, it just had a very musty smell in the hallway and our bedroom. Otherwise everything was good.

When we checked in last night, the front desk people asked what occasion brought us to town. We mentioned it was our son's 10th birthday and we we're having some family come stay as well and going to Hershey and all. They wished him happy birthday and were very kind. Then we went out to dinner. When we came back, Dave and Amanda from the front desk left a cookie and a bag of candy in our room with a birthday note for our son. It was very sweet of them.

So great and amazing. Hospitality in the highest level in the new generation.

Stayed for one night. The room was clean, and it was such a quiet hotel. It was pleasant overall. Good breakfast in the morning too!

Best hotel in the area. My wife and I set up a wedding block here. Both me and my wife and about 75 of our friends and family members all stayed here. Prior to booking the hotel, we checked out, in person, a total of 7 other of the best hotels in the area that we had come up with based on price, amenities, decor, and other reviews. Fairfield came out on top. And our experience as well as all of our guest experiences did not disappoint. I could go into all of their great service from letting us take over their large entertainment/lounging area throughout the day and into the late hours of the night to handing out gift baskets that we put together for our guests and all of the great included breakfasts each day. But it is hard to put into words the feeling of being welcome and feeling as comfortable as if at home — this is how the staff made us all feel, and always with a smile! The rooms were all extremely clean and looked nice and were very quiet — even with all the noise our guests were making. They must have some special sound proof insulation or something. We would highly recommend this hotel for both an individual stay or a large group. Thanks again Fairfield Inn & Suites!

Nice and clean. Beds are fairly comfortable. In room microwave and fridge were nice. The breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast. Only downsides were the light from outside (the spotlights aimed at the building) shining in my windows very brightly.

We've stayed he a couple of times while visiting my daughter. The staff is great, and the rooms are clean, BUT … On our last visit the A/C filters clearly hadn't been replaced. When we turned on the A/C thre was an immediate smell of mold. My wie and I both woke up the next morning with sore throats. We should have asked for a room change when we first noticed it, but it was late and we didn't. I'm not sure if I would stay again.
