Not handicapped accessible, front desk person was irritable, we had reservations at 11 and had to wait till almost 1:30 to get in our room. We found a dirty wash cloth in the tub. Overall wasn't the greatest place to stay.

As it's not the newest of hotels it has that rustic hotel feeling. Older TV's in some of the rooms and my bed well it dipped pretty good to the center. There was a big hole in the ceiling. The light cover on the long florescent feel the first day before we got in the room. All together it was good in desperate times.

Worst hotel experience ever! All the rooms are crappy. The lights don't work. The door locks don't work. Don't book this hotel. It's a scam.

My fiancee and I have been coming to this hotel for a long time. It's a quaint little hotel with an amazing front desk attendant, Mr. Rob, who has always gone above and beyond for us. Given, that we are loyal, long time customers. Now, given that this is a small hotel, without all of the bells and whistles, at an average of a 2 star rating, we were pretty much always pleased with our experiences during our stay here. With an occasional hiccup, such as having a REALLY HARD TIME opening one of our hotel room doors, until they finally moved us to another room. Aside from that, we have had pretty plesent stays here, until this past weekend. After coming here for so long and spending a lot of money, supporting a small business owner, instead of going to a chain hotel, we experienced nothing but problems and to our surprise, the manager was unsympathetic to our situation at hand. The bathroom sink was spraying water from the faucets left side, soaking the counter. I went to close the bathroom door and was MORTIFIED when I glanced over and seen feces on the side of the door. The following day I left to go to work, leaving my fiancee in the room. The night before we had gone to the store and bought $30.00 worth of food. I noticed the refrigerator was not working. My fiancee went down to the office and told the manager, Andy about the fridge and he stated that he would have the maintenance man come look at it.

Clean Room and good price.

You can't expect a lot for fifty five bucks. There's no coffee nor muffins etc in the morning. They have showtime. It's walk able to McDonald's and the convenience store across the street, which is nice for neccessities and meals. It's a decent place to stay.

Was overcharged $50… Offered a refund after I noticed it… Continued attempt to overcharge everytime I made payment and tried to justify increase. There is no free breakfast. This is a haven for displaced locals who have vouchers and such. Housekeeping are some of these displaced people and get a free ride to do nothing… Hair in bed… Food on walls… Dried smoke drippings on bathroom ceiling… Wish I could give 0 stars…

Bad I had to buy my own cleaning supplies and clean n sanatize on my own thwre was only two outlets the room was nust all around horrible unsanitary.

Dive motel except for comfy mattresses and good water peessure in the shower, zero amenities but cheap rates.

Disgusting rooms and dishonest staff. Recommend you sleep in your car before this dump.

I paid $50 for 4 hrs they told me I couldnt stay past 11am. Not only that the first room they gave me wasnt even cleaned or changed n I said somethin n they hot an attitude wit me gave me a diff room that was still dirty they refused too bring me vlean sheets! N when I asked bout a refund they gave me $10 back frfr they deserve. A 0 star ratin n I wish I could post pics on here!

This is the dirtiest, nastiest and rudest place I ever stayed. I had to go to the store to buy toilet paper because I didn't ask for it the day before. They would not give me any. I had to wash the doors because they were filthy. I used my own blankets and towels. Doesn't even deserve one star.

$40 a night on a Saturday night. Best price around here. Room's arnt too bad. It's not the Hilton or Marriot bit for the price it's not bad. Spacious room. Flat screen tvs. Beds are ok. Can't speak for other rooms but our room was clean.

Rooms are great for the price. Clean, spacious and nice but the front desk guy (I believe the owner) is VERY unprofessional and rude. I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt I had to.

There were bed bugs on the bed. It didn't have a remote for TV in the room had to go back to the desk to get one. Found some kind of bug in the bathtub. The sink was backed up. I doubt I'll be back.

Lot of loitering people. Manager does not resolve noise complaints or problem individuals, he tells you to call the police, which should actually only be a last case scenario. One BBQ grill had flames shooting 2 feet out of it and smoke across the whole field and in the rooms, he refused to take action against the guest. Manager has an unfriendly and aggressive demeanor. The lobby/office has a strange smell at some moments. I tried to switch to another room because of bad neighbors, they promised me a room the next day, but then kept lying to me. In the end I went back and forth to the office and made calls to the office four hours long, in the end to be told no. They are dishonest. I refused the only room they showed me because it smelled like mold and the floor was wet with visible soap to cover up something. I also had problems with kids vandalizing my door, again the POS refused to assist. Much unnecessary stress, and problems. Stay away until he is gone.

Great price for a decent room. Bathroom light was burnt out, we were too tired to talk to the desk about it, just used the light from the coat area. A/C worked really well, beds were pretty comfortable. It was pretty nice for such a low price! Oh and didn't have to go to the desk to check out, which was very convenient!

Great if you wanna see employes fighting! And black mold.

Theres better prices and better options nearby. Don't waste your time.

Absolutely horrible… they tried to charge us an extra 10 dollars for checking on before 830am… then have us a list of rules and told us if ANYONE besides us is seen at our room, we would be kicked out with no refund. We thought it would be an affordable place to stay, while visiting from out of town… it was a nightmare. Half the lights in the room didn't work, the room stunk, the bathroom was disgusting, the bed was full of crumbs and what looked like pubic hairs, and the roaches are bigger than my wife's cat. We were afraid to even put our stuff down. When we asked for a refund, since there was no way we were staying there, the guy argued with us and threatened to call the cops. This place is a dump, spend the extra couple dollars and stay 100 feet down the road, like we did.

Seems they got it renovated some posts were were during the renovation. Its got a bed Wi-Fi works what do you expect.

I wanted to give this place negative stars but not an option. Dirty place and nasty people. They have a huge sign on the front saying rooms for $29.99 so when I go to check in its pretty much double that so I said about the sign on the front of the building and they said ignorantly, "that's been over for a long time ". Don't go here even if your desperate, your better off to find a tree to sleep under, it would be cleaner and more peaceful. Went next door to scottish in payed less and the room was so nice bathroom was clean and it even had a pull out couch, definitely recommend scottish in.

Hi I had the greatest experience when I stayed there in February on Valentine's day. Our room was beautiful, clean and smelled fresh. I could tell our bedding was freshly washed, the bathroom was very clean, I could tell the carpet was just vacuumed, and im pretty sure I smelled some really nice smelling air freshner. The housekeeping lady was sooo nice and friendly. The girl that was at the front desk when I checked in was very friendly also. She told me exactly how to get to my room because I've never been there before and even told me they had coffee there for the customers. I would definitely give the budget inn a 5 stars. I would definitely come back there.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Budget Inn on August 8th, 2014. I booked here because of the price ($69.99), location, and breakfast offering. The location was great. There was no breakfast (even though it was advertised as having one) — this was due to new management, as explained to me. Upon arrival, our room was very musty and warm — the air conditioning was not on, which made the room very uncomfortable. Pieces of plastic were falling off of the lamp shades, and at least one of the outlets was sunken into the wall and missing plastic. That evening we found bed bugs. The "manager" on duty was only able to refund our room, after quite a hassle. We were left to find alternate sleeping arrangements at 1am. It was been handled poorly by the hotel — the owners never returned any phone calls. A "manager" had told me it was because they were very busy.

This place is FILTHY. Paid for 2 weeks leaving in the morning. The housekeepers are crazy if they think this place is up to par. Cob webs in the ceiling. The bathroom is sooooo dirty I didn't sleep not a wink: ugh so disgusted.

The Bare Minimum Inn is a more appropriate name. It was very unclean and most of the "amenities" were broken. If you bring your own linens, Lysol wipes and binoculars to see that tiny TV it's a great bargain. Ha! The housekeeper must live there. She started cleaning the vacant rooms at midnight. Party much?! Did she just wake up?! IDK, but the 1am vacuuming was somewhat obnoxious. Never again, two thumbs down. Whomp Whomp.

Not enough staff. Overworked housekeeper/maintenance man. Poor guy. Filthy rooms. Mold all over shower curtain. Saw roaches in my room and called the front desk and the owner said we brought them with us. Instead of correcting or refunding. He blamed us. The health department needs to pay them a visit.

I had the same experience, only bed bugs, and a housekeeper who thought she's a hotel manager, sorry black nd ghetto but you must attend more than just GED courses to be a hotel manager. This place is getting health department called, nd shut down hopefully.

This was a great place to stay for an extended time or just a night! My friends and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff was VERY friendly and ready to help you out. Also, the rooms were clean upon arrival. Great place for a great price!

I stayed at the Budget inn for a few nights and I have to say it was a pleasant stay. The staff was more than willing to help their customers make their visit the best it could possibly be. Also, the rooms themselves seemed to be very well maintained. For such affordable prices, I would recommend the Budget inn to anyone.

Checked in, paid a higher rate that I was quoted, went to the room. I found it to be dirty and roach infested. Went back to the office immediately to check out and get a refund. The owner refused to refund my money and threatened to call the police on ME. I went next door to doc holidays and got a much nicer room for a lot less. I then called the police and eventually got my refund. I have been banned from ever returning. (Like I would. ) There is a reason why a hotel with 50 rooms only has 3 that are occupied.
