Worse experience I have ever had at a hotel. First night here and they were having a block party with loud music and weed right outside the exit. The tub fixture was loose and the shower curtain pole was barely holding on to the walls.

Very nice, clean and quiet! Recommend!

Great place to stay! Front desk ladies were awesome at check in! The breakfast was good and the 2 people serving breakfast did an outstanding job! The room was clean the bathroom was clean! 2 thumbs up.

Front desk was wonderful, after driving four hours and getting to the hotel only to find that the travel company had cancelled my room after it had been booked and didn't inform me. The gentleman at the front desk still got his booked in for the weekend after making sure that I would be fine with the accommodations. Not too many places do that sort of thing anymore so a huge shout up for that awesome service. And then to get the rate that I had booked online he made my family and I weekend. The room and hotel was clean and even though they are renovating it wasn't done so that it was disturbing. And did I mention how the attentiveness of the staff. Enjoyed my stay.

This place is a dump. 1 star at best. Freezing cold pool. Hot tub didnt work. Gym closed. How dare they charge 100 bucks a night. Go anywhere else. Thank me later.

Nice people working there, room was clean, you should discount the rate or put on the postings that the pool and hot tub are down. It was very disappointing after a day of riding.

On Saturday, August 4th, we returned to our room (302) at 10:30pm and found the door propped open. There were no towels inside and the toilet paper roll had 2-3 squares left on it which is insufficient for anyone to go to the bathroom. The bed wasn't made either. We searched and no one was hiding in our room and our stuff was still there, we decided to make coffee to calm our nerves and found (at least a 3 day old) coffee bag from the previous guest. We called the front desk and told them and they said to wait (to shower) because all the towels in the hotel were being washed. They provided us a toilet paper roll right away. We told the maid the next day (August 5th) and she was very rude and told us that she wasn't working the day before. We told the front desk and they rolled their eyes as if it happens all the time and then apologized. The towel rack above the toilet slid off the wall when the towels were grabbed so we had to be very careful not to touch it. The mirror in the bathroom was also very spotty and not cleaned throughout our stay. The front desk staff were very very nice.

No extra towels as they were being washed at the time… couldn't use the pool as the chemicals had to be put… TV was not working… remote was dirty… now the good things… beds were comfy… breakfast was good… basic options but good… ample free parking.

I know at a Best western I can find a pet friendly room and breakfast to make my mornings easy. I was bummed to see the staff was not as helpful or pleasant as other BWs I have been. The staff often had to be waited for when checking out. The same was true about breakfast. I was given a dirty room on check in. While they gave me a different room it was the least they could do. I like BWs in general. I would stay again but I will lower my expectation at this one.

Clean rooms, spacious too. Staff at the desk were helpful and friendly, even took our picture with me in it before we left. Pool and hot tub were clean, on first level, and hot tub was hot. I would definitely stay here again.

It is clean but getting close to updating. I'm sure that is a major expense and is usually put of as long as possible. They had a nice breakfast area and their menu as far as meats was a little each day. The staples were oatmeal, cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs with the weird juices, water, and milk. In their fitness center they had two treadmills, an elliptical, and free weights but no bench to sit or lay to do many exercises.

Extremely clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I stayed here for two days last November for $221. This time for two days $315! I tried to give the clerk my Best Wester rewards number but she said it only works with online registration. They took it at the fron desk last year. This time the pool wasn’t working and there were men all over repairing or remodeling rooms all day on the third floor where they put me. Very disappointed.

Employee at check in had no idea what to do, had to text manager and it took 20 minutes to get checked in. There was CI steuction going on in the hotel and they did not clean up and there was pieces of drywall and dust all over the hallway upstairs. The bedding did not fit the beds and would not cover the mattresses or box springs. Some of the linens were ripped and the pieces were hanging down. The refrigerator must have leaked before and there was mold all over the bottom of the stand it was in. The “gym” had outdated equipment and no weight bench for the dumbbells they had. Breakfast had very little options and was not good quality. The best part of my stay was checking out.

Overpriced. Stay at motel 6. Save 120 dollars. Same exact service. Would not reccomend for the price of rooms. Website said I booked a smoking room, only to find they have no smoking rooms in the entire building. Breakfast was lousy. Hallways were set to 85 degrees. Ac barely worked. Will not be coming back to best western ever again.

Awful the first time I had to stay here through to work my day did not clean my room they failed to close my door unlock it when I had all my work Tools in my hotel room that afternoon. My second trip up here they put me in a different room it had the smell of Bo an old bananas and my door was broken and it failed to unlock so anytime I had to come and go into the my room I had to go to the front desk and they had to get the manual key to unlock it because the key card failed to work properly. And for my second say they also failed to clean the room to do anything other than change out the towels and put a new soap on the soap dispenser. And if I didn't have to stay here for work I would go down the street to several of the other hotels that I have stayed at that do an exceptional job and it's clean and well maintained.

Great price — booked a last minute stay while traveling. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Our only disappointment — pool was closed for repairs.

I loved this hotel especially the Kign Suite with the Jet Tub and Fireplace. The price was less than $100. It was clean and amazing! I loved my stay! Friendly staff and great customer service.

Not sure what people are expecting for the price. I've had some pretty terrible experiences in other similarly priced hotels. This one was great. Fairly quiet. Bathroom, bedroom, and towels were clean. Breakfast was fairly standard, but food was warm and decent options. Staff was nice. Not much more I could ask for.

Service is always good. The free breakfast in the morning was a huge hit with my kids. The pool was adequate and working fine. The rooms are decent size and clean. The beds were not the most comfortable and the Wi-Fi was down during our whole stay, which was frustrating. All in all, it's an inexpensive, convenient, family friendly place to stay when we visit Hershey Park.

This place was disgusting! It was unclean with stains all over the carpets, smelled like an ash tray all throughout the hotel. The staff were very friendly but the place it self was awful! There was rap music playing in the halls! Mold was all over furniture. The beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was gross and there wasn't a wide selection of food. The pool was nice to hang out in and was probably the only nice feature. Don't come here! Totally nasty!

It's literally right off the freeway (the driveway is off set across the street from one ramp) giving a convenient location. The room was nice (clean) with a refrigerator, and a huge factor for me was the shower head, I'm 6 foot 6 I could stand under the shower with out any problems. Most place a install my own shower head so I can fit in the shower I didn't have to. The rooms heater want just a wall heater with one of those dials either the was a thermostat in the room to set the temperature making it easy to get the room just right. I have to go back out that way for more work training next week Im going to ask that they put me up in the same location. Thank you Best Western New Cumberland.

Clean property with very pleasant staff. Very convenient to the highway, and to both food and gas services. Good value for reasonable cost.

Loved everything about this hotel. The pricing was great, our rooms were spacious and very well taken care of. Cable tv, Internet, Cleanliness, Great breakfast options, Nice pool, access in and out of the hotel using our card so we didnt have to walk around to the front all the time. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Great for families, my 3 year old had a blast.

Stayed a few days during a family vacation. All staff members were extremely accommodating, some offered helpful tips to local attractions we were going to visit while others gave assistance for trusted local car repair shops (an unexpected car issue occurred! yikes def. Not on the trip plans… now what to do & where to go?! ) Pool, Spa, Breakfast and overall location was very clean-super excited about that part.

Great hotel. Lovely lobby when you walk in. Located near the interstate. About 20 minutes from Hershey and Amish country. Nice area. Staff is great, very welcoming. Manager (Gene) was very helpful with area advice. All areas of the hotel were well kept, clean and pleasing to eye. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful hotel. Close to all things in the area, but overall, it has a good, fun feel to it. Heck, my wife and I were married in the common room/breakfast nook. The staff is personable and professional. If I could have this hotel every where I stay throughout the year, I would take it in a heartbeat. I call it "a safe and sane environment". 123 stars. :)

Nice hotel my room appeared to have had the carpets cleaned the day of my arrival and were still wet. The room was over perfumed, possibly from the carpet cleaner, the strength of the smell decreased as over my stay. Internet was slow. Overall the hotel was better than others I have stayed in locally, and I plan to return there on my next Harrisburg visit.

Property is very clean, breakfast terrific with different choices daily and ample things to choose from. Staff we encountered were all fantastic, and helpful when we had an issue with our door lock not opening (dead battery apparently — maintenance came and fixed it promptly) We did have a chance to use the pool and hot tub, despite a rowdy group literally taking over and temp of pool and hot tub both very good. Bed comfort only ok, could use updating. Houskeeeping does a great job as well — room very clean. Overall a very nice stay.

The room was a great size for all 5 of us however the walls were thin so you can hear everything from other guests. Also the hotel is very close to the highway so you can hear the traffic. The breakfast area is too small for the number of guests. The pool area was good and my adult daughters enjoyed it. Parking was limited. The hotel employees were excellent even with limited room to serve. They went above and beyond.

Very easy to get to off of 83. Quick check in and out. The room was fabulous and the price amazing! We had a king suite which included a comfy couch, desk, large bathroom, big tv, a mini fridge and king size bed. We loved the room. Breakfast was wonderful, the woman working in the dining area was friendly and helpful. The Belgian waffles were outstanding! Our only cons were the parking lot seemed pretty small and you could hear traffic noise from 83 which we drowned out with a sound machine. We plan on returning and highly recommend it!

Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, 9 and 6 year old. Two rooms. Indoor pool big hit with kids. Decent free breakfast hit with everyone. 20 min. Drive (a little further than hotels off 39, but less expensive) to Hershey and close to other dining. Just a little improvement could be used. Don't really care for little pillows (seem to be everywhere lately). Overall a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Everyone very nice and friendly. Keep in mind this not the Waldorf, but for a tenth the price, a great value! I would recommend. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family.

This wasn't my first stay. The staff is so helpful and friendly. If you have a problem they solve it quickly. The location is right off the highway, convenient to several restaurants and malls.

Evening front desk staff, breakfast attendant and hiusekeeping staff were incresibly, friendly, helpful and kind. Morning front desk staff was satisfactory, but not up to date on protocol and failed to properly note our decision to stay an extra night. Afternoon staff remedied this immediately. There were some serious concerns with the indoor pool: there were no towels available in the pool and, when requested from front desk, we were informed that no towels were available. We would have to use towels from room. We were assured that fresh towels would be brought to our room in the morning. The courtesy phone in the pool room was out of order. When we notified management of this, we were informed that they were aware of this failure and staff have been requesting that management fix the phone for at least the past two weeks. This is a serious safety issue. If I did not have prior experience as a lifeguard I would never have allowed my family to use the pool facilities. Families with small children or those lacking strong swimming, safety and CPR skills should NOT use the pool until the phone is fixed. Perhaps most importantly, they should NOT allow the pool to be open without a working phone or emergency call box in the room. Frankly, management should be thoroughly investigated by the relevant authorities for allowing such a serious safety issue to be ignored for such a ling period of time.

Good value for money. Easy access to I83, free breakfast, Wi-Fi, great shower pressure. Hotel staff very helpful to our group.

Decent rooms, nice Jacuzzi. No way to watch anythin other than pay per view though, that being said I dont go to hotels much so I'm not sure if that's surprising. Other than than that it was a clean room and relatively peaceful.

Where do I begin?! I was looking to relax, I have a broken foot! We arrived Friday morning for a three night stay. Friday around 11:00 a. M. I decided to put some food in our refrigerator for my daughter. The first thing I noticed was that the refrigerator cabinet would not close right because the wood was warped. A quick look at the pictures will show you what I found when I opened the cabinet. Sludge 2 inches thick, mold, mildew, stagnant water everywhere on the inside of the cabinet next to the refrigerator. I took pictures and went down to show the front desk. The woman at the front desk, Sonia, who by the way never told me she was the manager, said that she would have the maintenance man come switch refrigerators and clean it. The maintenance man comes, pulls it out, water goes all over the rug. He takes a dry towel, no cleaner, and wipes the big pile of sludge on the inside of the cabinet, opens the refrigerator, says the problem is not with the refrigerator, but with the housekeepers that are supposed to drain the freezer tray nightly and apparently didn't. He said he was not switching refrigerators and proceeded to carry the freezer tray, filled with stagnant water across the room, spilling it all over the carpet and then said everything would be fine now. I said to him are you kidding me?

My family enjoyed our stay! Good price & convenient on our visit to Hershey. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool. Our room was large and clean. The breakfast was ok. The breakfast sandwiches were good, but there were only 2 left. Overall, it was a good stay.

The staff has been very friendly, the room very nice, and the complementary breakfast was pretty good.

Military & Parents, please be aware! They put my 1yr old child, my wife, and I in a smoking room. I immediately asked for a different room, but was told they were sold out and it was the last available room. I then informed the staff that I couldn't stay here and asked for a refund. The staff (Shelby) was extremely nice, apologized, and said I will be issued a refund. Several days later I noticed I never received a refund. So I called the hotel and spoke with the with Manager. She would not issue the refund stating that staff can't issue refunds only she can. I then asked her how do you feel knowing your hotel was sold out and you tried to put a 1yr year old in a smoking room on a smoking floor, and you won't provide a refund? She stated she feels threaten and hung up the phone. I would like to say not all Best Westerns are like this. This one lacks good leadership and ethical values. My room was only $57.01 plus taxes included. So obviously I am not complaining about money. I am complaining about the principle of what happened here and the lack of welfare being for a child and respect to our service men and woman.

This was terrible experience we had, We got smoking room due to No room left, it make you feel sick and can not sleep whole night, even they gave us the Fresh Spray, it did not work! Too much smoke in this Hotel. The bed is too soft. Don't feel comfortable! The breakfast area is too small to fit all the guest, and the waiting line is too long, wait for the Hot waffle to cook, due to that is the only thing better to eat. This hotel experience ruin our vacation!

I hated every minute of this place. They gave me a smokers room (I don't smoke) the place was filthy. The front desk woman Jill lied and told me they had no other rooms available and I would get my money back, Janet the Manager did not or would refund the money. DO NOT STAY HERE — unless you are under 21 looking for a place to party.

The staff was great and attentive. The room was clean and the breakfast was what I expected for Best Western.

Check in was good but they can atleast try and explain more where rooms are located they should not just hand the keys and tell u the floor. Room I didnt like it the bathrooms was good but could of been cleaned better. The sheets on the bed had black stains on it the sofa had a hole on it like I think someone can fix it. For the price I had to pay for just one night was worthless will not be staying here again.

I went to PA for a concert last month in Hershey, which is a very nice area, just rooms were booked and expensive. We found this hotel with fare reviews and what we thought was a decent price. We booked through priceline (don't recommend). After the hotel charged us for our stay and priceline did too, we were refunded by the hotel but found out we paid double what the hotel actually charges! The hotel was polite that's the only reason why I gave them 2 stars. The room was SO dirty. Floor, tub had TONS of hair not just a little bit. My sister took a shower with her flip flops on. When they "cleaned our room" all the maid did was make the bed. Didn't wipe down a thing. Plus the "new" towels they hung for us. My husband got disgusted when he pulled one off the rack and it was dirty, never been washed, and wasn't even our dirty towel bc it was Really dirty (no details needed). The pool was the worst. Again with the hair. Everywhere. It was so cloudy from the chlorine your eyes burnt in the room and your skin had white powder stuff on it. Like like instead of cleaning it they just keep shocking the water! Bad area too. Just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at the Best Western Inn New Cumberland for our wedding, and also had arranged a block booking there as well, for our wedding guests. Everything went so smoothly, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the front desk staff that we encountered were friendly. When I had called to arrange a block booking at another hotel, I was told that I would have to call another number. Not at Best Western—I was immediately transferred to the hotel manager, who then explained the block booking process and was able to even give us (the bride and groom) and king whirlpool suite upgrade for the same discounted rate as the block booking rate. We were in the area the day before to set up for the wedding, and Best Western allowed us to check in early so that we could get ready and settled before returning to the venue that night for rehearsal. When my parents checked in, they even gave them a free suite upgrade for more space to get ready since they saw my grandparents were with them (they weren’t even staying in the hotel that night). We were even able to get a late check out the day of departure. I would definitely recommend Best Western New Cumberland to anyone looking for a wedding block, or just a night’s stay.

Well for the price of this place. You get what you pay for. The facility is new and fairly clean. The "deluxe continental breakfast" is poor. Scrambled eggs and sausage if you're lucky. On our last morning they ran out of paper plates and forks. If you want waffles, you have to wait in line for the machine and then make them yourself. The noise from the expressway isn't that bad if you keep the heater/a/c unit on.

OK in first 5 minutes I noticed that the toilet was stopped up. Promptly reported to frt desk — — — 90min later still stopped up no response. Called again! Finally the guy came around and tried to plunge it. No luck. So I was moved to another room. Also bathroom fan was broken in 1st room and toilet paper was scarce. Internet access is slow but it works. Local eateries are very limited. Watch out for Google map directions that tell you to get on the toll road. Nooooo. You will end up turning around in Gettysburg and paying $1.90 in tolls. Ask for the 3rd floor room. Poor construction makes 2nd floor noisy.

This place is really new and nice. Most people here are nice except there is a old grey haired lady that is up at the desk and scowls at you she is not here all the time thank goodness! I called the front desk several times to clean the shower that had dirt in-bedded in the bottom of the tub but it never got clean. Also if you get a room on the freeway side it is very noisy and constant freeway noise can be heard!. This place had potential except for bad insulation/freeway noise and grumpy looking scowling old ladys this place is pretty new.
