Nice room. Relaxing but I am in the back. The pool looks good but it's a little early.

Had a great stay. Our room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. Staff was super friendly when we checked in.

Very friendly staff! Needed a little ice for our small cooler and he filled my little bag no problem! Room rate excellent value. And the bed so comfortable! Best nights sleep on our 3 week vacation! Would stay here again without any doubt.

The pool is murkey and unkept
but it is cheap at 133. For the area and is relatively never so busy that they dont at least have one room available… which is the only reason I picked that one above any other hotel
there isnt even coffee available in the lobby in the AM
It was late when I checked in for a few hrs rest and I wanted to get back on the road early so I didnt even shower, didnt bring any luggage at all in but The owner accused me of stealing two towels fromy room and also using a towel which I had used to clean up my chicken noodle soup I spilled.
he literally was telling me it wasnt soup that I had cleaned my shoes instead? wtf? He told me he had to charge me 20. A piece for the towels that were missing! but he decided to not charge me the 15.00 for using the other towel I used to wipe up the small amount of soup I accidentally spilled since I was a repeat customer (which I told him) he then became very rude I asked him if I could replace the towels and he said no they were special hotel towels extra plush etc… no they were almost see through which I would not have noticed since im a soap dodging hippie who didnt shower… definately felt profiled because I have locks silly hotel slumlord stole our deposit!

For the cost, it was great: Comfortable bed with white duvet cover (so no hidden "stains" among a patterned bedspread), small refrigerator (no ice), small microwave, basic television stations on a small flat screen, pleasant art work. The bathroom is small with a tiled shower and a tall shower head, which I appreciate being 6'2". A vanity with a light was great for putting in make up while I sat (I experience pain when I stand so thus was a nice feature. ) The place was clean. The drapes appear custom made and of nice quality. A comfy easy chair was great for watching TV even if it is a bit crowded with large desk, desk chair, dresser, bed and two end tables A large walk-in closet was a surprise. The walls have been patched somewhat crudely and painted over. The gentleman checking me in was efficient but not particularly friendly. Checkout time is 11:00am and at least I got a smile (from his wife? )

Great for what we needed. We checked in at midnight. Slept well all night until 8:30am. Small bathroom, but efficient. Pretty quiet, got upgraded to a king bed.

Location is good, close to downtown. The hotel is in the midst of a remodel and it does need it. The room I stayed in hadn't been remodeled yet. The price was about $10 too high for the amenities and facilities. I think this establishment will be on the rise in 2018, and will be an improved value.

It's simple, clean and nice. For the price you get it's great. Good internet too. Plenty of parking and it's close to many convenient spots (whole foods, gas, etc. )

Management was not the best. They were always on guests about something. Also there was no continental breakfast. But the rooms were descent looking and comfortable beds.

Very nice quiet and clean room, the front desk staff was friendly! Free coffee in the morning, definitely will come back next time if we pass through again!

Great establish! 5 star rooms! Triple sheeted beds! Will definitely come back in the future. Great price for a fantastic room. My personal favorite was there was a built in vanity in our room! The owners are so nice and helpful the gentleman that owns it checked us in he is very kind and helpful to work with you. We stayed on our anniversary and that place made a great impact on our day. Thank you! They are so close to the Hell Gate Jet Boat Excursions so that's a plus. **Side note to remember they do put a temporary $$ hold on your card for incidentals but you do get it back when you check out.

Very comfortable room and friendly front desk. Great value for money! Good TV too.

King bed was awesome, good Wi-Fi, and had a refrigerator and microwave. No breakfast and bathroom was small and had a shower, no tub. Overall I would stay again, price was affordable to.

Clean room at a discount rate. Great halfway point stop going from Seattle/Portland to San Francisco. No breakfast, but coffee in the morning to get you going.

It was in grants pass Oregon. The people that own or running it were very nice and made some exceptions for our stay it was great the rooms were very nice and fresh I would stay there again anagain.

Of all the motels where I've stayed, I feel this to be among the most noteworthy. If ever there were a motel to be described as a diamond in the rough, this is it. Do not let the price (or neighborhood) fool you. This felt more like a compact version of a 4 star hotel than an overnight roadside motel. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The shower had a high nozzle (as opposed to most motels that set them at a height comfortable only to people under 5' tall), decent water pressure, and the mirrors don't even steam up. Also, as I usually stop in this town on road trips, it should be mentioned the least expensive gas in town is about a block away.

We stayed one night on a road trip. Staff were very friendly, polite, and professional, introduced a few restaurant in walking distance & was good. Check in was quick, our room was comfortable and clean, the pool's plus for the hot summer day. Great spot for a traveler to pull over.

Very disappointed. Late arrival. Called ahead to confirm reservation. Told "No problem, take your time. " But when we got there, they had rented our room to someone else. Offered an alternative, but it was filthy. At least we hadn't paid in advance.

The staff at the Discovery Inn were very nice and friendly. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. The showers had mold or mildew growing between the tiles. On the up side, the water was nice and hot. In general, the hotel was a good value for the cost. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity to visit the area in the future.

Located in downtown. Wasn't too noisy but the condition of the bathroom was a little concerning. Just a few new touches.

FYI: it's under new management! So don't take the older reviews too seriously. I was very happy with my stay here. The rooms inside are lovely and modern, way nicer than what you would expect from a $60/night hotel. I met both managers (a husband wife team) and they were very kind, chatty, and welcoming. Good coffee in the morning. I'll be staying here every time I come through Grants Pass!

The rooms are clean and very nice, conveniently located & the lady there is very nice. The guy is more clipped.

We checked in late about 10:30pm, the staff's very friendly! the room was clean and comfortable! They also have refrigerator and microwave in the room, nice flat screen TV… great price, great stay!

We just needed a nice bed and shower during our road trip. Richard was at the front desk and was very helpful and extremely friendly. He gave us a great rate, the bed was comfortable, the room's clean and quiet. Great experience …

No showers and They charge 80 a night. I will be calling The health department on this place. Its absolutely disgusting that they expect ppl to stay here with no means of washing themselves.
