Great place for families, our room overlooked the river and had a balcony. Very comfortable and clean.

We have 3 labs that we had with us we had in their $300 kennels which they stay in all the time they are trained hunting dogs. We told the front desk we had them in our truck but would not be in the room which they were not. The hotel charged us $150 AFTER we left because they kept blaming the barking on our dog which was not our dog and we checked on them multiple times, they had food and water yet someone still called the animal control on us who checked them out and said they were fine. We were told that their “auditor” found dog hair on the bed sheets um well no kidding we have dog hair on our clothes on our home items, were messing with dogs non stop and taking them swimming at the river yea were gonna have dog hair on us that will transfer to other things! this hotel is conflicting with their customer service and frankly they are not friendly people. I will never stay here again and we were frequent customers but since being treated with complete disrespect like we are bad dog owners and liars I am so very very disappointed in my whole trip thanks to this hotel.

My husband and daughter traveled up for a softball tournament and stayed here. Their bathroom was skipped during cleaning and Sierra and Stephanie were both very helpful getting it quickly taken care of and compensated for. We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

Just very clean, beds are comfortable easy check-in and our view was amazing.

I stayed last weekend and was very happy I chose this hotel. The location is great, the view is lovely, the room was comfortable and spacious but, the staff was the best feature. There was a mix up with my Expedia reservation and it didn’t include my dog and, they were booked up but they went above and beyond to accommodate us; the two people working the desk (I believe the man’s name was Garrett and the woman working whose name I unfortunately did not get) were awesome; all of the staff were really great. Their customer service is top notch. Literally the only complaint would be with the little league families that were staying there who were pretty ballistic all weekend. I will stay here again anytime I am in the area and highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I would recommend anyone who is traveling with a pet and booking through a 3rd party to call the hotel to make sure a pet room is reserved for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great hotel on the Rogue River, we got the romance package. It included a $50.00 gift certificate to two different restaurants a bottle of champagne and chocolates. The room was clean spacious and comfortable it had a balcony overlooking the river! They had a pool and Convenient parking he could walk to the restaurant from the hotel underneath the highway. I will definitely stay here again!

Love this place spent a New years there, when it snowed what a beautiful view from our room best memories.

Nice staff, decent breakfast. Rooms are a little over done online as apposed to when you walk in. River front view faces a bridge and some housing across the bank so that was a bummer. But with the limited options of hotels, this is most definitely the nicest "cheap" one in all of Grants pass; and I would definitely stay here again.

The resort itself needs a update, but the staff is 5 star. Every room has a balcony and river views. I would definitely stay again.

I love this place… it's not the Ritz-Carlton but the pet-friendly rooms are clean and spacious, recently remodeled it appears. The staff are warm and friendly to my dog and me. Love sitting back on the balcony and watching the river flow by…

The check in was easy, the rooms were clean. The staff was super friendly to welcome me. My sister loved the buffet.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. We were on the first floor and had a balcony with a nice view of the river. The room and bathroom were clean and up to date. Fridge and little in room coffee maker. The breakfast is typical of a hotel. There is seating inside or outside.

All rooms have river view; nice pool area; great breakfast and outdoor patio; local wine, beer, cider available in lobby; comfy beds.

The room was as nice as expected. Parking was easy, and they have an elevator. The staff was over the top courteous and helpful, including providing dishes for our brought in food, bandaids for a minor blood leak, and help taking travel-trash from our vehicle. Outstanding experience.

This is one of those places that just runs a class A game. Clean, great local people on staff, great location, beautiful river views, good breakfast, nice clean pool, mature and lovely landscaping. Just a really great stay. Plus Grants Pass is dope, gateway to the coastal redwoods, its so nice.

Clean sheets, clean towels and mostly clean room. One problem I had was the moths were in my room. I don't know if they came in when I first opened the door to my room or not. Hot breakfast is the same as other places. Friendly staff. One thing that I would like is while they offer beer and wine for sale in the lobby I would like to also purchase sodas or water as well and not need to use a vending machine to purchase those items. I would stay again.

A great little retreat by the Rouge River. All balcony rooms have a beautiful river view. The staff was very nice and hospitable. Felt very relaxed and at home here, which I do not experience often enough. Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay!

Stayed overnight 27-28 May (Memorial Day) ; just walked in and was lucky enough to get a cancellation, and with a good discount. Great location, great double room with a large balcony overlooking the Rogue River, friendly staff, excellent service and breakfast. Would gladly return.

Have everything you want for a great time.

My husband and I went here for a little stay-cation. We received a warm welcome upon check in but after going out to dinner & attending a play — we returned to find several items missing from our hotel room — my wallet, my car & house keys and my husband’s brand new cell phone. The police were called, they took a report and shared that “it looked like it was an inside job” — The room had not been broken into but appeared that someone with a key card had access to our room while we were gone. So far our out of pocket replacement costs have totaled over $900 so we are not happy campers & will not be returning to the Riverside Inn (nor refer any family or friends to stay there). If you do choose to stay here I would highly recommend that you leave NO valuables in the room whatsoever.

My 3 boys and I stayed here a while back while we were waiting to move into a new place and wanted to spoil ourselves a little. The Rooms are clean and attractive and have everything you need. The continental breakfast is fantastic with hot items as well as the traditional cold options. The views and close access to the Rogue river are the real selling point, It is absolutely gorgeous! Having Taprock Northwest grill adjacent to the hotel is Perfect Always great food and drinks and excellent service as well. TO top it all off they have an AMAZING GIFT shop with so many unique items, you will want to spend some real time there checking everything out And picking up mementos. My favorite thing is that the gift shop doubles as the office and starting point for Jet boat excursions, which in my opinion is THE thing to do in Grants Pass. I live here in Grants pass and I still do a dinner river trip as often as I can. Its a must do if staying in GP. Riverside Inn is Definitely a safe bet if you are a little bit picky about where you stay like I am!

The room had a beautiful view of the Rogue River and a gas fireplace. Something had been dripped on the bed cover which led me to believe that they don't launder those after each guest. There was even a card in the batroom admitting that the hotel tries to cut corners on laundry. I also found some change lying on the floor. I think the room should have been cleaner, and the thought of sharing bedding with other people to save the hotel money was kind of disgusting, but the room had the potential to be very nice under better management.

We have stayed here a couple of times and it is a nice place for a decent price. On the upside, the rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a view of the river and the bridge. We stayed in room 255 this last time. The downside was the noisy geese from the river and there is a bit of traffic noise until late at night. Also the floor in our room was squeaky, especially in the bathroom around the toilet. I'm sure that was annoying for the people below us. The room above us also had a squeaky floor so we could hear the people above us every time they walked around. I would probably stay here again but try to get a room on the top floor.

Never been there. Never go there! Why is it on my Tome line then? This isn't cool! Do you understand what it does to a relationship when stuff like this pops up? Not good things. I need to understand this so called mishap because it's making my husband look like he's cheating on me.? Margaretll.

Its one of grants pass origional on the rogue river motel resrts w meeting and confre. Nce rooms a true quality acomidations jet. Boat river ttours are operated from this location a beautiful louge and a top of the line testraunt.

4 stars as there is nothing wrong, nor unique about this place. Anlittle dated though it looks like they have attempted updating portions of the room. Being on the river is anplis, and great balcony scenery.

Riverside Park one of the best park in town. Also great for kids picnics and to host parties.

While I did enjoy my stay at the Riverside Inn, I cannot give it the full 5 stars. First let me mention the positives. I loved the hot breakfast in the morning, which offered bacon, scrambled eggs, english muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, and fresh fruit and yogurt. There was also popcorn in the lobby from 6 to 9, and if you got lucky you could see their resident cat wandering the lobby. I appreciated the fact that they provide a sizable fridge in the room, and a microwave upon request. The customer service was great. If you forget any items they will mail it to your address for free, which I thought was nice of them to offer. The negatives — I came here in winter so the room was understandably cold. I felt as though the sheets they provided were far too thin for winter. The heater was not very effective at all, because it was placed right by the screendoor so much of the heat was lost. They should either provide thicker blankets for the winter or a space heater that can be more appropriately placed.

You guys were so accommodating. Our room was gorgeous and especially clean. And the sounds of the river and all the water birds let me sleep like a baby!

It's an older property, but it's been updated. There is a balcony overlooking the river and a gas fireplace in the room. Who wouldn't like that? The room was clean and well maintained.

Nice staff, friendly waitresses, clean rooms. A bit too uptight with their service animal policy. I stayed for work so I dealt with it but I wouldn't stay here on my own. I had an additional doggieday care expense because she could not be in the room by herself for even an hour.

Maybe best place to stay in Grants Pass. Great location right next to river. A bit of a walk back to downtown. Awesome breakfast.

We stayed there last week and it was wonderful! We has a beautiful river view room with a private balcony. The rooms were clean and lovely. The staff was great — helpful, professional and kind. The outdoor pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to use it. The breakfast was GREAT! Scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, etc. I wished I could stay there longer!

Truly enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable, perfect bed, bath had nice towels and soaps. The balcony with the view of the river was beautiful, serene the best place to have a glass of wine and morning coffee. Friendly staff and good service. Great spot at a reasonable price.

Quick, friendly check-in. Lovely balcony overlooking the river. Quiet, spacious room with comfortable beds. Frig but no microwave. Carpet needs cleaning. Nice soaps and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.

Rooms are cheap for a riverfront view. They could use a remodel, but they were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and so was the service, everyone was very friendly and I slept well and drank my morning coffee on the patio watching the river roll by. Serene.

Grew up here and back for a high school reunion. The views are fabulous from the rooms. Very disappointment in the black mold in the bathroom. The bathroom needs to be gutted and remolded. Even the rubber mat is badly stained… Gross… Tile, wall, shower and ceiling are in need of a complete redo and not a repair. No plug for the tub. The door in the bathroom does not look like it was replaced, since the '64 flood. The slider you have to put full body weight into it to open. Second day here and at almost 3 no room service. Yesterday, had to request at 5 to have the room cleaned. Refrigerator was not cold had to turn up all the way to get cold. Went to get coffee at the breakfast bar, no cups, glasses, to go cups or cream. If you are going to charge like a first class hotel… PLEASE, get your act together. If not for the location, would have checked out the first day… Here for a 6 night stay… Weeds are cut by your balcony and the weeds are all over your deck, foxtails and all. Garbage thrown from hotel rooms on the weeds… Beer cans and all, add up daily… Not impressed, except for the view and the breakfast was good, staff is very nice also. I just believe that they are way under staffed… Wake up management and owners!

Very beautiful place but not the hotel itself. They need a MAJOR renovation. This place is rundown and outdated and for the price they charge, they should clean it up. I would never stay here again!

Beautiful and very unique. Staff was awsome and very helpful. The cleaning staff had the room clean and very well stock :) I do want to point out something I am from san diego california first time there in grants pass oregon and I didnt know what was around and for sure I didnt want to get lost : (so I asked one of the young ladies that was cleaning the room and she told me that there were restaurants Si Casa Flores, Taprock Northwest Grill, Shari's Restaurant… depending what I wanted to eat, she also told me that I could go to the oregon caves, and if I wanted to shop there were different little shops to that could go… she was very helpfully and I glad that you have her working there. Her name is crystal diaz… thank you having great staff and thank crystal diaz for her help when I stayed there… :)

Me and my wife went there on a mini vaction … we totally fell in love with the hotel. Great customer service, very clean rooms (stocked too! ) we stayed for a week and a half and totally happy with the service. But I do want to point out that one of the girls that cleans the rooms was really nice and helpful when we asked her (were to eat, what to do) she was really nice and like I said very helpful, just want to let you know that her name is crystal diaz. She and all your staff at the hotel made our stay confortable and I would recommend this hotel to family and friends :) thank you for your time and grants pass is really beautiful.

This hotel is unique. The room I'm I'm in has the most beautiful view of the well known Rogue River. The staff is friendly. They seem to go out of their way to assist.

We have stayed here many times and just love the view. Oh and the rooms are great as well. Did I mention the view.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were VERY friendly and personable (Shanna at check-in and Jessica at the free breakfast). They were both genuinely interested in their guests and took extra time and care to make sure we had everything we needed. From the first phone call for information to breakfast and check-out. Our entire stay was GREAT. Jessica was just so sweet and kind. The hotel is obviously a bit older, but it is well-maintained and very clean. All of the rooms face the river and have patios (from what I can tell), which was very nice for quiet relaxation with a beer. Again, I highly recommend this place, and I hope I have a chance to visit here again.

Great Staff, Great Place, Great Time.

Service: Overall interactions with staff were very positive; they were friendly and helpful. Reduced service rating for a poor first impression. Night shift agent taking reservation stated a credit card was needed to guarantee a reservation however a credit card would not be required to check-in, I could pay cash. This was true but misleading. A $100 cash deposit was required to pay cash. Not knowing of the requirement I didn't have the extra $100 on hand and was forced to use a credit card to check-in. I was able to pay cash in the morning. The agent should have stated the deposit requirement up front. Facilities: The bed was very comfortable and top floor rooms have one of the best views in town. A convenient walking path is available to cross under the road to jet boat docks, nice if you will be going for a ride. Though they are directly on the river the bank is not maintained, a mix of trees and blackberry bush. Bathroom wallpaper was old, major heat cracking/pealing behind wall lights. The nature of an armoire and it's placement detracted from TV viewing unless you were in bed. Toilet and sink are separated by a door. Usually in a split bathroom a simple sink is in the room with the toilet so you may wash after use, not so in this design. Towels were small and rough. Quality: Rate was $125 which is in the range of a Double Tree but felt like I got a room on par with a decent Super 8 or Motel 6 in the $60-90 range.

Does not have secure internet. The only reason we choose a hotel was to do business work and I couldn't do my work without a secure connection. The staff did not offer a discount or any other assitance. Room was dank and musty, although the place was almost empty they put us in a room with people above. Very noisy. Room decor very dated. Room rate was more than stated on line. The price was double what it was worth. Regardless of the view setting. TV too small. Paper products terrible. Etc. Needs a total redo. I would not recommend when there are so many choices.
