The room key malfunctioned every single, solitary night that I was there. I had to go to the front desk and deal with the very curt and discourteous clerk every single time before I could get into my room after having worked all day. Once finally in the room, you have to practically climb over top of the toilet to get into the shower or exit the bathroom. Terrible design! I cannot stand rubbing up against the toilet on your way out of the shower.

Stayed for memorial weekend and if we had any question we were helped professionally the only issue there is one washer and dryer for guest usage and it was broken that weekend.

Very clean, friendly check in and out~ pool is perfect!

The plumbing made huge noises so you could not flush while anyone else was asleep or turn on the water. The carpets needed a deep cleaning. The price was moderate and the rest of the room was clean. The breakfast was okay.

The hotel was right off the highway so it was easy to find. The front desk was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast was okay with basic hotel fare. Overall a good exprence and would book again.

There aren't any helpful stores or restaurants in close walking distance which is disappointing. The room looks like the online photo and I believe it is clean, however, there is a wet/sour smell to the room. The continental breakfast is nice with both hot and cold options. The lady working the food area at breakfast is very friendly and attentive. It is nice that there are complimentary cookies, popcorn, and infused water in the lobby for guests. Wi-Fi in hotel is good. The pool looks clean but due to weather and hours I haven't been able to swim. The posted pool hours are 9am — dusk (what time is dusk exactly? ). Ice and vending machines on all floors. Workout room. Meeting rooms available to rent. Stairs aren't easy to find.

They have bed bugs. Offered us another room. Room was right next door. No thank you. We left. Took a video but can only post a pic. There's proof. Found on 4th night of stay. No evidence until 4th night so may have other infected rooms and transferred via bed sheets and or pillow cases. If you're brave enough to stay I would highly advise checking bed thoroughly.

Wonderful stay at wingate! We stayed here to visit family for memorial day weekend and was very satisfied with our stay. Our room was very spacious with high ceilings and felt very comfortable. The bed was so comfy a perfect home away from home. Staff was friendly and helpful, we even decided to stay another night and they lowered our rate to make it more affordable. We will definitely be returning.

We booked the hotel the same night as our stay because we missed our flight. The staff were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lady who was at the breakfast station went above and beyond. When my husband and I walked over to the breakfast area she told us where everything thing was and while we were making our eggs she asked if we wanted a waffle. We responded yes and she made us a waffle took it to our table and served our syrup and sincerely asked if we needed anything else. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Our stay is by far the best hotel experience I've had given the exceptional service and staff there from the housekeepers, to the front desk receptionist and everyone else we encountered! 5

Really enjoying my stay here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and coffee maker well stocked. I mean I have never gotten enough cream or sugar in a hotel but this place left me plenty! Hot breakfast was good and the kitchen staff so friendly and helpful! I feel very welcome and comfortable here. Thank you!

The furniture is a bit outdated, but everything is pretty comfortable. I thought the service was good too. There was an alarm for a fire that went off at 6am, but it happens I guess.

Room was perfect as we were in town for the Deep South Classic basketball tournament. Short commute to Raleigh Convention Center. Excellent breakfast. Staff and housekeeping were helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean.

Wingate Wyndam in Garner was clean and cozy. The breakfast was filling and fresh. The lady who took care of the breakfast was super nice and prepared all our waffles. She made popcorn in the afternoon and placed cookies out. We really enjoyed our stay and it was less than 15 minutes from our family.

Typical Continental breakfast, but still good with fresh bagels, fruit and pancakes. Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Dual queen room was fairly spacious.

Large room, very large breakfast area, friendly staff. My room was very clean and comfortable with a King bed, sofa, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and safe in room. The heat/AC unit was very quiet. Good place to stay in Garner.

The sleep was good. That's almost the only thing I did here. Props to room service for cleaning my sheets. It was a great night!

The hotel is not very buevo, the air conditioner is very noisy due to lack of maintenance. The staff is very friendly. For the price is fine.

Nice rooms, and the mini-fridge even has a real, though tiny, separate freezer compartment! Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean, and breakfast is served daily. The woman working the breakfast room is extremely helpful. She found different yogurt varieties when I didn't care for the ones in the cooler. She even made the waffles for people, and brought flatware, butter, etc. If it looked like someone needed something. I didn't use the fitness room, but it looked clean. The pool was outdoors, and it was unseasonably cold when we were there, so I can't comment on that. Would have given them 5 stars, but the breakfast options didn't change from day to day over more than a week.

We stayed here Christmas week (8 days). The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and bright and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. There were only a few negatives. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so even on day one it smelled like, well, a bathroom. We ended up buying an air freshener. The breakfast was just the basic hotel free breakfast. If you're staying more than a few days it gets a little repetitive. Overall I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend. Also, there's a terrific Italian restaurant in walking distance.

Friendly service, decent breakfast, located just enough off a main highway to be quiet but close enough to be accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, ample parking and well lit lot. Stayed two nights for a girls weekend and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Comfortable beds, fluffy pillows. Well stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Good size room for the two queen beds. No fan in the bathroom but the heating and air unit worked well for the room. Busy weekend for the hotel but the noise level was low. Would stay again.

The staff is very friendly and caring. If any issue did come up it wss handled swiftly. Their GM is very friendly and caring for the guests. I am looking forward to staying there again.

Room was a bit small but comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast selection was pretty basic. No bar or restaurant, and not many nearby, but it's a 10-15 minute drive to Raleigh, so overall it was okay.

Good location, secure and safe. Hotel rooms are a bit run down, no ventilation in bathrooms, bathroom layouts are poor, stained carpet, curains, etc. Guys blowing leaves in parking lot at 7am. Insufficient blankets and tiny pillows.

Carpets need to be updated. Air conditioner smelled like urine when we turned it on. Not the worst hotel you could stay in, but won't be staying here again.

Room was good sized and very clean. I definitely recommend this place.

Stayed with a co-worker, so two queen size beds. Bed was comfortable, pillows were ok. There was one nice chair to relax in, then 2 wooden chairs and a small desk. The pool was nice, it was clean and refreshing after a long day of work. The breakfast was setup well and presented nicely. I would like to see a few more items available, but overall not bad. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The Hotel was Clean. The room, bath and bed were great. Pillows are very important to me and it pass the test. Breakfast was OK. I only say ok because I have had better. I would stay again if in the area. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham… the clerk at the front was knew so we were given the incorrect check put time… however, we were allowed a late check out… the rooms were clean the breakfast area was awesome… I will make it my stay from this day forward…

It was okay. The staff was polite, but not very helpful. The room looked very nice. Unfortunately, it smelled of mildew when the front desk was informed, the response was "do you want me to spray your room? " The room was warm due a/c not putting out good strong air. If that wasn't enough, the bathroom sink was unclean (water stain around the faucet), and finally, I looked up to find what appeared to be black mold forming on the bathroom ceiling in two places. I won't ever go back! As a matter of fact, I want my money back. I only stayed because I didn't see the mold until the morning and my kids were exhausted. Thank God, I brought my own Lysol.

The stay was great, rooms are decent. Fully equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. The free breakfast is very convenient and delicious with options. The satff is helpful and friendly. Best I ever interacted and I travel often. This place is the real deal. Highly recommend!

We arrived early morning after traveling all night. The staff was friendly and helpful. They got me check in immediately so I could get to my room.

The staff was polite and friendly. The meeting room was a bit small for the number of attendees at the professional development event, but it was tidy.

The good: Almost everything! The staff was very nice, and I loved the room. The bathroom vanity has shelves built into it, which is super nice, along with a good amount of counter space. I also like that the decorations and colors aren't the normal ugly hotel theme, but pleasant! White comforter, black and white nature photos on the wall, etc. The continental breakfast was average, but still good — it included eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc. The location is also very good — it's only a short drive away from downtown Raleigh. The bad: We only had one issue during our stay… our bathroom stunk! When we first checked in, we didn't notice it, but then when we came back later that night our bathroom and the hallway smelled like rotten eggs. Our bathroom continued to smell bad for the rest of our stay — it seemed to get better overnight or after being gone a while, but worse when we were there using it, which led me to believe that it had to do with the sewage system/drains. I didn't say anything about it while I was there because it wasn't bad enough to cause a fuss, but it was a bit annoying. We were trying to figure out what the smell was the entire time we were there, but never did find out for sure. Like I said, we didn't say anything about it because it wasn't unbearable, but it was nice to come back home to a normal-smelling bathroom. That's the only issue with it, though!

The photos online made the Wingate look much bigger. I did find the place to feel comforting though! Our room was clean and air conditioned. We had a basic hotel breakfast with eggs, waffles, muffins, cereal, etc. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to those visiting Garner or Raleigh!
