MOLD! Rude employees! Wet Carpet! Stay away! We stayed here a couple years ago and had a horrible experience and happened to get this hotel again through Priceline, even worse now. When we went to our room the first thing we noticed was that there was no light… turn on the light switch by the front door and nothing happens, so we turn a lamp on and take a look at the room. Overall the best way to describe it is “funk” just an overall funk. It looked rundown and the bathroom was disgusting, towel rack falling off the wall, shower curtain falling off, bathroom light flickered constantly like a horror movie. I went to the front desk and asked for another room which we were immediately given. The second room, on first impressions, was much better. Our two year old daughter was walking around the room and within 5 minutes we noticed the bottom of her feet were black! So we’re ours! My wife took a baby wipe and wiped it on the carpet once and it was a dark black color. The carpet was sticky like the floor of a movie theater. I walked around and looked at different areas and stepped on something wet… then noticed that HALF of the carpet in the room was soaking wet because the AC was leaking into the room. I immediately went to the front desk and reported the issue to Michael and was told “this ain’t the Hilton! ” No kidding! The front desk employee acted as if it was no big deal and asked me what I wanted him to do about it.

Stopped in town on a late Friday night and looked around for a pet friendly place for a family of four. Ended up getting two rooms here for the night — one for the teens and the dog and another for myself and the spouse. The clerk was named John and was super helpful. He ended up working the rooms around so that we were only a few doors down from each other. Except for a little noise outside the window from the trucks it was a pleasant sleep. Breakfast was free and check in/out was simple. Rates were very reasonable too. I didn't need a gym or a pool — just a place to sleep for the family and Quality Inn served that purpose.

Good price and room was clean. Definitely needs some updating. Ok for a one night stay, but I wouldn't want to spend a long time here.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! *****I booked a night online for Saturday, 6/16/18 and arrived at the hotel around 5:45pm. After going into the lobby which was insufferably hot due to the A/C not on I waited behind a guest for over 20 minutes while the lady (Nicole) at the front desk struggled to do her basic job functions. At first I assumed there were technical problems but finally when I got to approach the desk she asked me for my information and after giving her my driver's license she took over 10 minutes just to put my name and address in the system. She kept muttering to herself and I was wondering if she was asking me questions or was just talking to herself. It was very very strange. After she handed me back my driver's license she hits the wrong button and clears everything she had just done. Which meant I had to give her back my driver's license and do the whole process again. It took over THIRTY (30! ) minutes just to get my room key. I finally get to my room almost an hour after arriving. Room 210 I observed trash on the floor, food in the fridge, coins all over the bathroom floor and a faint aroma of cigarette smoke. I decided just to deal with it so I wouldn't have to go back downstairs and confuse Nicole even more with a request of changing rooms. After my significant other arrived we both showered and before we got a chance to get clothed an employee WALKS IN THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING! It was extremely embarrassing.

WARNING to all people staying here ** This is an absolutely terrible hotel to stay at. On 6/16/18 I booked a night online and arrived at the front desk to check in. The lobby was insufferably hot because they had no A/C and the front desk lady (Nicole) took over 20 minutes to check in the guest ahead of me. She then proceeded to take over 20 minutes to check me in even though I had a reservation online and continually got confused on simple procedures such as putting in my driver's license info. Once I got to my room I saw coins, trash, and people's personal items on the floor. It was unacceptable. At 8:30pm after my guest had gotten in and we were watching a movie, a woman from the front desk opened my door even though I had a do not disturb sign on the doorknob and I yelled for them to get out. I thought I was being robbed. They immediately apologized saying a clerical error led to them believing it was empty. This hotel is unprofessional, dirty, and the worst hotel i've ever stayed at. Stay away! stay away!

Rooms are nice and service was good. In a good location has stores and food places within walking distance.

The location for Huntersville is perfect but beware this place earned it's two stars. It is understood when making a last minute decision to stop in a town that is hosting a NASCAR event (didn't know it at the time) choices would be slim pickings. The rooms are clean but dated and well-used. The decor is straight out of the 1990s and the furniture is as well. No USB ports and the wall socks somewhat work but are loose. Breakfast was aged eggs and sausages but come early they are gone quickly and not replaced that often. The beds are lumpy and firm, we had one of each in my room. The shower rod is barely hanging on to the wall, so we had to use two of our four towels to mop up the water as we showered. It is a place to sleep, not relax.

Little old but nice staff, clean room, and good breakfast.

This is an older Quality Inn, but I loved the charm. It is Clean and the Staff was awesome!

I had a family emergency and had to travel to Huntersville NC. I was so blessed to find this Quality Inn. I stayed 9 nights. It was clean, quite and comfortable. I got much needed rest and sleep. Michelle and Jane were stellar employees! I recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you quality inn.

Not today cleaned up the room it is the first time that I spend in this hotel I've been in and always been cleaned.

This is a nice roadside motel. Rooms are refurbished and very clean. Motel is a bit spartan in terms of amenities, but has a comfortable bed. Location is good with restaurants and stores very nearby — some in walking distance. Motels does allow pets. We had a good nights sleep and would definately recommend.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly on-the-ball staff, and breakfast in the morning, this hotel does their everything in their power to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

Probably worst hotel experience I've ever had. Place is falling down. They are doing road construction right under my window. Not sure why they're renting rooms here knowing that. It's impossible to sleep. Do yourself a huge favor and spend the extra 30$ and get a room at another nice hotel in the area. Your not saving yourself anything staying at this cappy place.

We had Spiders in the room one was n the bed and behind the nightstand. Shower curtain rod was broken. Feces in room by nightstand. Called front desk Rodney was not helpful never called back against complaints. Gave us towels/wash cloths that housekeeping use to clean with this was what he told us verbally. Check out day asked for manager was advised she doesn't work except for certain days only for a couple of hours.

Clean rooms, will cater the reception well, the Airline community clean and a full breakfast. It is super economic.

The staff was incredibly nice and it was a perfectly fine stay for an overnight trip. I did have to wipe a bit of toothpaste residue off the bathroom counter when we first arrived, which is something I wouldn't normally expect at a hotel, but everything else was clean and tidy and I'm not the sort to make a fuss about something small. There is some renovation going on but it didn't impede our stay in any way.

I rented a king room for one night. The motel is a little shabby, could use some updates and sprucing up. I arrived about 4 pm. The desk clerk was unprofessional and assisted me with a sucker protruding from her mouth. She was not knowledgeable about the location of the rooms and sent us to the wrong side of the motel, then after lugging our bags around the building we had to drag them to the other side. The rate would have suggested a decent room at $99 but the room was below average. I felt it should have been more like $50. It felt a little dirty and musty. There was no coffee pot in the room and the coffee they provided in the lobby was horrible. Breakfast was less than appetizing but there were packaged options so I went with those. The road noise from the interstate is very loud on the backside of the motel. Based on my one night experience I can't recommend this motel. Keep looking, there must be better options at this price.

The place sucked girl didn't even know where the rooms were had us running around outside the hotel on check in. Rooms were somewhat adequate breakfast was about homeless shelter level.

The location of the hotel in reference to the annual Renaissance fair is amazingly close. However, there were some maintenance problems with the room that were not able to be fixed during the time that we stayed. We were offered a discount for the inconvenience. Overall, we got what we paid for. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative.

Door to the room is broken and doesn't shut well. Ugly repair work on second floor. Beds bouncy. Old and broken vending machines. Breakfast was good but didn't start on time. Not very clean, even saw a couple bugs. Not worth the money by far. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Place is being renovated I guess so hallways are gross… room was ok. Shower was clean and hot. Night staff has alot to learn, she was more interested in entertaining a friend then us trying to get a room at 3am.

Booked non smoking room but given a smoking room. Was told as we booked online it happened alot. Condensation in the bathroom ran down the wall brown from being a smoking room. Shower rail barely hanging on the wall. Very outdated. Drink machine was broken. Not worth what was charged.

This dump sucks! Wouldn't recommend it! No stars from me, I'll stay in a tent before I stay there again. If you get a duke discount they will find a way to cheat you out of it. Barbara from Belton sc.

Regular hotel but giving it three stars because of the front desk attendant named Raquel she was gorgeous and helpful if not would have gave it one atar…

I DO NOT RECCOMEND! I wouldn't even give it any stars BUT I give this hotel one star and the only reason is that the price was the most reasonable of other places in area… but actually too much for the experience. I was suppose to stay for a month at the least but left in a week. Staff is HORRIBLE mainly management… currently have complaint filed against hotel for bed bugs (this particular location) they moved me to another room there was dirt and hair in the tub which I also emailed pics to Public Health and Environmental Control. Im currently having to treat my skin from being attacked by bugs and I took pics of the bugs and my body. There was also bugs (not BB tho) found in bed of second room… in addressing this issue I was treated like I was a problem. I DO NOT recommend this hotel unless you are staying over for only one night quickly its not clean the air is not fresh and room was never able to get very cool. Room had appearance online to look very nice but hotel is sub-standard and regardless of price its a waist if anyones money.

The place is very clean smells very good good people to be around with the staff are wonderful and very helpful I will always come back to this place it was a pleasure to be at the Quality Inn.

This is one of the best and most affordable quality motels I have ever been to. The breakfast is awesome and opens at six on week days. The room service is every three days. No pool but you can use the best Westerns pool down the street for free with your room card! There are very nice LG TV's! And super comfy beds! The only concern I think I have is that the comforters on the beds are so thick the you could sweat even with the AC on 60° all night… Thanks so much Quality Inn for an awesome stay!

We went for a trip to meet our future daughter-in-love's parents. The motel is clean, near to everything, excellent breakfast, and comfortable bed! I couldn't have ask for any better. Definitely will come back!

Quiet conveniently close to the highway its next to the holiday inn was a little difficult to find I admit but we are all tired. Close to mcdonalds 24 hour coffee in the lobby, they allow pets and do have an elevator so you don't have to climb the stairs, we did have a small flaw with an air conditioner that wouldnt turn off but they switched our rooms immediately AND both rooms were equally clean, neat as well as large and have flat screen tvs with fridge and microwaves very comfy beds clean bathroom and very nice staff at the desk after midnight when we stopped.

Not a, good place to go now … they're doing remodeling floors, look terrible I had beer tops on the floor in my room, bathroom ceiling patched look like its, coming down, towels, look old, and the towel rack was lose and weak smd not again …

It was fine for my needs. I stayed 2 nights but didn't appreciate the up charge for a Friday night stay just because of a college basketball game in Charlotte Saturday!
I will go further away if I get charged THAT MUCH more for an event unrelated to with my stay. (Dr's appt). I didn't watch TV. I needed an Internet that didn't keep cutting off.
Hotels do scalp, but this one doesn't warrant a charge over $100! It's a bed, meh breakfast (brown bananas, toast, bad coffee, apples, eggs) Simple, clean & definitely should've been a more affordable stay.

Pleasant stay, staff was friendly, breakfast was free, price was reasonable. We stayed in a non-smoking room, but it still had a weird smell.

I am providing this hotel this rating because of the lack of customer service, not because of our stay (which we didn't have). We booked our night through Booking because we we were going to drive from FL to OH and stop halfway, however we didn't end up leaving on time so we decided to stay a little further south and make a longer drive the next day. We had the option to cancel our res up until 6pm the night of the reservation, so we did just that. Everything was fine until we were charged for the room the next day. My husband called the hotel as soon as we saw the charge and spoke with a woman at the front desk, who said she couldn't help us because a manager had to make the call to credit us back. He left our contact info and we were told we'd hear back the next day. We didn't. We waited several days and never received a call, so I called again and got someone who claimed it was her first night on the job, and couldn't help us, so we once again needed the manager. Well, shockingly the manager yet again wasn't available, so we asked when she would be and she said later that day, so we said we'd call back. We did, and (wait for it) we had JUST missed the manager — she just stepped out. At this point we were livid and giving this poor woman an earful of how absurd this all was. Meanwhile, we're in contact with Booking who said they would also contact the hotel, and no further action was needed from us.

The staff was friendly and amiable, everything was clean and inviting, breakfast was nice. Unfortunately, our non-smoking room smelled strongly like someone had smoked in it and then tried to cover it up with air freshener, and oddly enough, the shower head design was terrible — the hose made the head turn to whichever side it wasn't on at a severe angle.

The price was good. But on the day of my stay, the elevator was Out of Order and my room was on the top floor. The only ice and drink machines were on the 1st. The room's toilet had a small leak when flushed.

Checked in around 9pm and had to wait for 10min or more before someone came to the front desk to process our checkin. The room we had was close to the elevator and there was lots of traffic which caused a lot of noise outside the you could hear clearly in our room. The staff was very nice however but it wasn't the greatest stay I have had at a hotel.

We stayed there on our way to charleston and we not happy when then cable was done for the whole night. They did have a good. Real fear and gave us a rate break for the innocence which was good.

The hotel is in need of a little bit of exterior cleaning and they need to better enforce their pet policy, but other than that the stay was pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. If you can stay somewhere else, stay there. If not, than this isn't a horrible option.

The lights over the sink were burnt out, can't see to put on makeup. Their solution, move to a room less than what I booked at 10 pm after I just unpacked. Day 2 maid service refills coffee with all decaf, when clearly I used up all the reg. Coffee and didn't touch the decaf. Bed linens are awful, ity bitty pillows, foe covers that don't come up to fully cover the guest, just there for looks. When I called to complain about lights not working they said they don't have a service person at night and they are out of replacement bulbs but you can move to anther room not as nice as what you booked and we will still charge you the same, how's that for a solution. Maybe u can walk outside to put your makeup on if you can't see in the room. I'm a platinum Choice guest and it just keeps getting worse and worse. I stay here because they reliably offer smoking rooms. Just because you are a smoker doesn't mean u get the shaft or is that how it works with choice hotels? Not sure, maybe I will just stay with Marriott or Hilton, I'm Gold with them too.

Pets Owner this is the place Clean and accept your pets, but the place is a little small… The price is great and breakfast room is awesome! People are nice.

I am glad there is a hotel that will accept pets — but I think that is the only plus this hotel has going for it. I know it was cheap and it was the only room I could find on a very busy weekend, but… the elevator didn't always work, the non-smoking room smelled like a lot of old stale smoke, the window AC unit wasn't very effective and was LOUD, but not loud enough to drown out the race track noises from just outside our window, we got one washcloth for both of us to use, the two sheets used to "enclose" the comforter were wrinkled polyester (were the wrinkles from the dryer or previous use? ), etc. Simply a very unpleasant experience overall. We checked out early and were charged less, but that didn't really compensate for a sleepless night & leaving feeling unclean. I also made the mistake of reading reviews before trying to sleep so thoughts of feeling bed bugs biting me only added to the heat, noise, and lumpy pillows. Front desk person who checked us out was nice and apologized that the person at check in had not put us on the quieter side of the hotel. Seemed strange that front desk staff were both so casually dressed; not used to T-shirts with slogans or writing (not business logos) on staff.

This is not a hotel it's a broken down motel I have so many pictures and complaints the service was decent the ladies friendly but the place sucked and wasn't maintained at all place was a joke I didn't get a refund my check in day was the same day I left while they kept all the money I went to another place so much better don't waste your time trust me, maybe a good place to round up a bunch of prostitutes and make some pimp some money, want the best for a good rate go to comfort suites also water shut off for the day discussing place.

This hotel is not comparable to others in the area. We could have dealt with the fact that it's not updated and has a little bit of a motel feel but the absolute worst thing about this place is the employees. Zero customer service skill. We had large cranes driving in the parking lot making that beeping noise that truck make when they back up. We reported this to the front desk and the lady was so rude, she told us that there was a construction crew staying at the hotel for a couple months and if we didn't like it we could check out. It was 1030 at night! We asked if they had quiet hours Ana she said no! We also had horrible internet service the entire time and we got the same response from the ladies at the front desk. "If you don't like it you can check out" or "what do you want me to do about it? " Also… Bugs.

Stayed here on several occasions while house hunting in the area. Always a clean room, great staff and breakfast to start our day! Highly recommend A+

No water on two different days. No room service for 3 days. This hotel has gone down in quality by half in the last two years.
