I was a long term customer for over 3 months at this hotel due to a work assignment. There are some pros and cons to staying here. Generally the hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk staff were friendly. Parking was difficult to find at times, which was frustrating. However, the parking lot and surrounding areas did not make me feel unsafe at any time. On more than one occasion, wedding guests would take over the hotel lobby and were loud all night. Luckily, I was on an upper floor but I imagine it was disruptive to the guests on the first and second floors. At times, kids would run up and down the halls unattended while their parents were outside on the patio. While the laundry room only had 2 washers and dryers, I did not have many problems getting to use them and it was only 50 cents a load, which was great. Upon arrival the room was ready and clean. It was spacious, but storage was limited. Rather than having cabinets with doors, the design here was mostly open shelving. The bed and linens were quite comfortable. The kitchen appliances consisted of a fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher and all of them functioned well. Towards the end of my stay, I called the front desk and requested late checkout. Having used this diamond member benefit in the past at other Hilton hotels, I had hoped and expected to be able to checkout at 4pm. The person I spoke with told me the latest I could checkout was 2pm — only an extra 2 hours past checkout time. While I understand late checkout does not always mean the same thing at different hotels, after having spent over 3 months and a lot of money here, it would’ve been much appreciated. This resulted in having to drive around with a car full of belongings until I could check in at my next hotel 2 hours later. I do not believe I would choose to return to this hotel for an extended period of time. For long term needs, there are better options out there.
