Updated retry after not so awesome first stay review Although it was my hope to have a even better experience this time around in hopes of making this our go to staycation spot we were unfortunately disappointed 😞 our scheduled breakfast was 30 mins late and cold and we were brought 2 of everything except the actual breakfast, while I do understand things happen 2 experiences in a row with disappointing service made us reconsider the proximity as our go to home away from home. I will give credit to the amazing management for always working to make things right but not sure we will come back for a 3rd stay. I know this can’t be everyone’s experience this was just my own. The spa room is really nice for a romantic getaway we enjoy the bath very much.

Absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing-rooms are clean and the COVID protocol is to standard. Also our ACC Team is staying here. NC State woman’s basketball team will be playing in the championship tomorrow. All around very satisfied.

Very nice place but very expensive. Loved the soaking tub. Hotel is not in a great place for a nice view but we enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my stay, the bistro has amazing food and we really loved the set up of the bath tub in our room. The wink wink package was nice with the treats and Champagne. I would however suggest you make it clear when you were booking a package that the breakfast in bed offered in the package is separately charged. I think offering this as a package and not making it completely clear that it isn’t all part of what you are already paying for is a bit misleading, also if you’re going to offer late check out I would stick to it as we felt extremely rushed out of our room when it was at least an hour and a half before late check out time.
Shortly after being called to see if we needed help with luggage which is completely fine I understand you’re trying to get people to not check out too late in order to keep things running smoothly, I didn’t appreciate the fact that someone came knocking on my door saying they were just checking to see if we were still here literally less than two minutes after we were called. After spending quite a generous amount of money to stay here plus the food and everything we enjoyed I don’t think you should make the guest feel as if they are being kicked out it left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth after such a nice evening… we checked out maybe 5 mins past 1pm when late check out was offered at 2 and we were made to feel like an inconvenience at the time of us leaving…

Excellence on every level. Great view from the 8th floor. High vaulted ceilings. Incredible shower tub combination. Service top notch. Definitely would reccomend.

My newlywed wife and I shared the pleasure of having our wedding reception hosted at this incredibly delightful hotel this past weekend. I can't articulate enough how indescribably pleased we are with everything about our evening. The event space that we utilized was absolutely captivating. The staff and management was nothing but courteous and commendable. Along with the catering that was delectable, this turned out to be quite literally a perfect celebration. The room that we spent our weekend in was simply breathtaking aswell. The appreciation we have for the results can not be expressed enough! Thank you to a stupendous venue and staff!

I DO NOT recommend this place. Do NOT come here. It might look good online, but it is not worth it. Bug infested, horrible customer service, and terrible water pressure.

The service was excellent! The atmosphere is so elegant. The food was exquisite! BEAUTIFUL!

We stayed here to celebrate an anniversary and every detail was so beautiful and well thought out. The hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious as well. The furniture and decorations in both locations were a combination of upscale mid-century modern with southern flare.

Emily (that works in the bar) is fantastic! She is the epitome of what a bartender should be! She’s kind, generous and always makes me and my husband feel welcomed when we walk in! We keep coming back here because of the outstanding customer service from both Emily and the other bartenders. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful she/they are! She’s a gem and we always sit at the bar so we can be serviced by her and Neal!

My husband and I are regulars at Print Works Bistro for their brunch (best brunch in the triad area), and decided to spend a night at Proximity for our Anniversary after having to leave the beach because of Florence. We took advantage of their date night package which was wonderful. It included dinner and a movie (with a chauffeur to and from the movie). There was a mix up with the chauffeur so to accommodate they sent up a bottle of wine and fresh chocolate covered strawberries. They exuded such hospitality and professionalism and have gained customers for a lifetime. Thank you for making me and my Husband’s wedding Anniversary one for the books!

We stayed for 1 night for our anniversary. Rooms are super clean and modern. Really enjoyed the stay. We had dinner at the Green Valley Grill after watching jazz at o'henry and it was really enjoyable. Great food. Great atmosphere.

Awesome experience. Staff was very friendly and eager to make our stay a great one. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time. Rooms were the cleanest of anywhere we have stayed.

Room service was incredible and all the little things you expect like coffee, tea, or soap, were a cut above the rest. We stayed in a Spa suite with the bathroom wall that bows out to the room and I was surprised that it was a bit roomier than the photos make it look. The bedding was as luscious as a cream-filled pastry. I wish I could sleep in a confection every night! My only criticism would be the bathroom lighting — ridiculously bright, too much for late night soaks in the tub that the suite is made for, kind of a shame.

This is a diligently green but upscale modern facility. Luxurious and industrial, with consistent service, this hotel is superb. Even the usual empty spaces have been thoughtfully planned and decorated. Very sleek without sacrificing comfort!

The room was large enough to accommodate all of us. The bed and bathroom were clean. Slept like a baby. Great customer service.

I came to the bar to visit a friend who was staying in town. The service was great and the bartenders were quick and friendly. Good selection of liquors and the waitress even help us choose tequila buy making us a makeshift flight of their best.

A gorgeous facility for events. The staff was beyond courteous and very quick to help. The food was also above average, although the chicken was a tad dry.

I have always enjoyed spending time at the Proximity, whether as a guest or working to photograph an event. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are incredible, and everything is bright and clean. Definitely check out the king spa rooms.

This hotel is incredible! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this unique place and loved the connected bistro as well! The design is really cool, it's a beautiful place!

We could not have chosen a better place to have our wedding! Kirsten and Morgan were wonderful with planning and accommodating us and helping us hammer out details. They made it easy and simple. Everything about this place is beautiful. It is not your run of the mill hotel stay. So much attention to detail has been paid to every aspect of our stay. Every staff member we encountered was truly a pleasure to be around. They were professional, yet easy to talk to. We so enjoyed our stay on the top floor. We were gifted a romance package and it was phenomenal. We look forward to coming again for an anniversary I’d highly recommend for any event. I’ve had my share of catered dinners/breakfasts/brunch etc but the food that was served at my wedding was unforgettable. All the guests were happy. I think we’ve all been to weddings and events before where the food was just ok… this is not your standard hotel fare. Print works is unforgettable too. We got some great shots all around the hotel. Photo opportunities are bountiful here which is yet another reason this is a great place to have a wedding. LOVE the proximity. This place is always going to be special to us after our big day here.

It’s a very unique hotel that uses green technology and that’s more than I need already. The staff were very kind and polite. Their restaurant is great. The atmosphere of the hotel itself is fantastic because it’s so quiet. The hotel also provide plenty of work spaces where you can prop open a laptop on a table inside or outside where you can enjoy the sunlight. Some of the rooms are a bit compacted but it has great views of the quiet city. It’s fantastic. I would really recommend you visiting this hotel if it was on your way.

Did not stay there, but attended a meeting. Great vegetarian meal. Excellent place to have a conference with ample parking.

Proximity was fantastic to work with on a room block and stay for our wedding! The staff is incredibly professional, warm and welcoming, and the hotel went out of their way to help us coordinate very affordable and comfortable transportation for our guests. I would recommend this hotel for anyone hosting an event, wedding or just visiting Greensboro for an incredible stay!

The proximity hotel was very complimentary. They had great service that was always avaliable. Over all the service was amazing and very polite.

Great hotel. Large rooms, plenty of space to work in. My room had a desk and couch sitting area. The decor is a sort of modern design, that is executed in a way that makes the room feel warm, even though polished concrete is a recurring feature. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very nice. Breakfast was included in my price. Breakfast is a full menu with a good selection. After hours the lights are turned down and bar is a good place to hang out with attentive bar tenders that also can provide full menu service. The only complaint is the water flow of the sinks and showers. I feel there is less flow than other water saver showers and sinks. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating.

Dealing with Kristen at the hotel was was a joy. She helped me choose the correct venue, helped with layout suggestions, food and beverage ideas. All with graciousness and listening to our wishes. I would highly recommend engaging them for your activity. Kirsten and the Proximity staff were polite and professional. They made what could have been a stressesful process, very easy to understand and complete without pressure or drama. Thank you!

Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina is on my all-time world favorite list! Fantastic interior, friendly, amazing music throughout, comfortable beds and beautiful color decorating. So perfect. Shuttles are vintage vehicles. Very green. Caring about environment! Try it!

Fantastic service, amenities, and bed. We stayed in a King room, and there was a good sized living room with seating for 8-10. The TV has a built-in Google Chromecast that we used that was really convenient. The TV also had cable.

We're local to Greensboro, yet still stay here for special outings. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is great and the breakfast room service is top notch. Tip… Do the breakfast ordering the night before. Set a time and they bring it to you. Love this place.

Accommodations were great but front desk staff seems to be confused about what's going on. They need to get it together and thoroughly train their employees. Paid for my son's honeymoon night and bought some extras. Bubble bath was to be presented with a few other things. They arrived in the room but no bubble bath. Not a huge deal until we spoke to staff about it. They were given "body wash" instead and were comped for price of bubble bath. They were also told that proximity doesn't have bubble bath but it's one of the extras to purchase. Total Confusion! My son and his new wife should NOT have had to deal with this!

Visited the hotel for a business training in the area and I am impressed with cleanliness and relaxing environment of the hotel. Staff truly made me feel special. From the receptionist to the hotel manager, people looked into my eyes to say hello and made sure everyone is comfortable, later found out that hotel was employee owned which explains. Keep it up guys.

Absolutely loved staying there. The staff is extremely nice and all of them were very professional.
The room was fantastic. Spacious and loved the decor. Everything you need is in the room. I loved the bathroom. I could stay in the tub for hours.
There isn't one thing I could say negative about the staff or hotel. They make you feel like you're at home and courteous.

Very fancy restaurant with great attention to detail. Each table was cleaned for probably 5-10 minutes between meals. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Drinks were great and the appetizers/bread were delicious. The pork shank entree was tasty, but room temperature when it reached the table.

This was the perfect romantic getaway for two sleep deprived parents. The room was exceptional, breakfast in bed was delicious and arrived right on time. The bathtub was the perfect soaking size. We enjoyed everything about the hotel from check in to departure.

Was at this hotel last weekend for January wedding. I can't tell you how impressed I was! I found myself sitting in different parts of the hotel just to take in the view and to soak in the vibe. I love the ethicacy of the hotel. Very happy that it is an employee owned business. The food was incredible! The hotel was different, not run of the mill. I don't really have good words to describe what it is. But it's all good!

The service is excellent here. The staff comes around to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The check in was quick and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is good and fresh and the variety of food is great. It is a great place to stay.

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn before & will continue to do so. The staff is friendly & efficient. The hotel is clean & well maintained. Breakfast is well appointed. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

Room was great. Week person might have trouble with the bathroom door. Went there for new years. Couldn't see fireworks from room (corner room). Made our own. The no cover party in the bar was a joke. 50 people crammed in an area for 10.

Nicest hotel in Greensboro. We are local to Greensboro and still stay here from time to time to getaway. Our most recent stay was part of the new years package. We greatly enjoyed the late check-out (4pm) and breakfast that's was bright up in the morning. We're fans.

This Sunday Brunch was off the chain. Only thing that would make it better would be backwoods ass north Carolina repealing that stupid law that says I can't have a mimosa with my brunch before noon.

This hotel never disappoints. The style and decor is unique bit beautiful, and the staff are always friendly and happy to help. The food at our event was outstanding, and print works has always been a favorite of my company. We all truly enjoyed having our event at the proximity.

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and it couldn't be any nicer. I love that the hotel and rooms are energy efficient and green, they have great views and wonderful furnishings and the lobby and food at PrintWorks are to-die for.

Incredible. Restruant is 5 stars, the rooms are modern and cleaned daily and it is an experience in its own to stay here. Best bang for the buck.

Beautiful hotel. Room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. You feel like you are at a much more expensive hotel than the actual price.

The Proximity lived up to what I have heard. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Every time I walked through the lobby there was someone to greet you. From front desk to housekeeping, everyone wanted to help. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone. The only weakness is in there TV. The TV was old and outdated. Not easy to use, especially a bad sign when there is a whole page on how to turn it on and actually use it.

By far this the best hotel in Greensboro. The attention of the staff is excellent, the transportation aeropuerto_hotel_aeropuerto is the best, the lobby is very welcoming and the gym small but with everything you need. If you are from outside USA and you want to make your purchases on line and send them here, do it when you get to your room there will be for your purchases.

Staff was really friendly. The hotel design was great. Laptop you can use on every floor in a lounge area. Bathroom was fancy and the windows are huge.

The staff was very attentive and professional. I attended an event where heavy hors d'oeuvres. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes were delicious and the fig and brie flatbread was divine! Proximity is an experience!

My first visit here and I'm utterly impressed by the staff, the food, the room, the environmental consciousness. The room is well appointed, the staff is friendly and courteous and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend Proximity to anyone visiting Greensboro.

We booked the date night package for a get away. Truly, an amazing experience. The staff was curteous, the king loft more they we expected and our dining experience at the Bistro was delicious. We will be back. It was pricey but the quality and experience well worth it. The air quality in the hotel is remarkable. I had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. If you're looking for a memorable experince of a romantic evening, where you feel like you're being catered to, then check out the packages Proximity has to offer. The King spa suite is in one word, sexy. The mirrored windows open up in the shower/tub area. You just have to see it.

I rented a room here once for my parents who were visiting for July 4th. They said they received really good service and liked their room. I'm glad they enjoyed it. It was affordable, esp for a weeks worth. I'm definitely booking here again for them.

Staff — Curt, unhelpful. Mostly interested in selling restaurant. Comfort — Mediocre. Hotel provides robes that are very rough to the skin. You get two types of pillows. One lumpy, and one fluffybutflat (nice fluff but flattens to almost nothing as soon as you put your head on it). Decor — Faux Loft chic. Nothing remarkable. Furniture shows more wear than I would expect from a room of this price. Other Details — One (1) pack of coffee which will make about one cup of coffee for a room with two people. The shower is glass and *doesn't close*. Hope your significant other doesn't need the loo while you're showering. The head is also pretty low for us taller folk. If you want to go here because it's green, more power to you; but there are far better options at this price.

This hotel is beautiful! I’ve been here on business and eaten in the restaurants. I’ve never stayed in a room here. But have heard that the rooms and service are excellent. You can tell when you walk in that the place is very professionally maintained and exceptionally taken care of.

I love proximity, its so beautiful on the inside. The rooms were very nice. There staff is kind of stuck up. Other then that I would love to stay there again.
