Nice rooms, great location.

I was there Friday March 19 they didn't have the room that I booked. So I was placed in another room and moved to my new room the next day. Then they guy at the front desk said my card wouldn't go threw then I got my sons card he couldn't get that to work he said he got mine to work then found out that both of our cards were charged and the people above us were noisy and come to find out my card got charged 3 times instead of 2. This was a nightmare. We went there to relax but had nothing but problems.

I love this hotel and will never stay any other place in Spokane! The staff are so sweet and thoughtful and made me feel so comfortable and at home! They treat you like family or long time friends! I would especially like to thank Julie and Shelby for being so amazing with my baby Lobo! I was so touched by your attitude, friendliness and compassion for people like me! I will never forget how meeting you guys has impacted my life by reminding me there are still genuinely kind people in the world! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved that I was able to bring my best fur-friend with me! God Bless you all

The Holiday Inn Express Spokane — Downtown was the perfect fit for our family of five. The rooms were clean and tidy! The complimentary appetizers and drinks were a perfect treat after a long day. The breakfast bar had multiple choices and was kept fresh! Audrey who worked the breakfast station went above and beyond to make sure my kids enjoyed their stay as well, offering them snacks and prizes! The staff was overall very friendly, but one shined above them all! Courtney (front desk guru) was always doing her best to make sure our stay was pleasant. She happily drove us in the shuttle to and from the convention center countless times without complaint. She suggested delicious places for dinner! When we had a bad experience with one of her co-workers she went above and beyond to make sure the situation didn't happen again. If we ever travel to Spokane again, we will definitely stay again thanks to Courtney!

I came in June 13th which was a Thursday afternoon and I was with my mom we were checking in and the front desk gentleman wasn’t being very helpful, my mom and me were going to check in and rent a room but the way the front desk was very unprofessional. My mom asked to talk to the manager he told us that there was no manager at the time and I seen him flipping his knife by the door, kept going to the bathroom not greeting us or anything. Seemed to be on his phone more or texting than helping guests. Will not be coming back here again.

Our family had such a wonderful experience here! A perfect location, great amenities including a delicious breakfast plus I've never been treated so well in any hotel I've stayed. If ever in Spokane, I would highly recommend!

So convenient to downtown. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff warm and friendly. The shower was a winner. The evening snacks and drinks was wonderful after a day of traveling. Great place to stay. Thank you.

Fun location on a hill in Spokane with some great views. Standard breakfast. Has what one needs. Mon to Wed there's evening grub if interested, but it's close enough to other dining options. Clean as expected. I like that the vanity is outside of the restroom area. Cheers.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet. My dog got a nice biscuit when we checked in. No complaints whatsoever.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. My s/o and I were driving through and had another establishment booked. When we arrived there, the place was appalling and had to go in search of another on a busy weekend where most hotels had no vacancy. We've had an extremely long and grueling day and were becoming upset. Morgan at the Holiday Inn front desk managed to somehow find us one more room, which in itself seemed a miracle. She then continued to go above and beyond for us during the rest of the evening. She managed to singlehandedly turn our terrible day into a wonderful one. I can't thank her enough. This hotel in itself is wonderful, it's clean, the amenities are fantastic and there are just little extra touches throughout that make the guests feel really special and well cared for. The location and building is gorgeous, too. I will highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Spokane to everyone and will only stay here next time we're in the area.

The staff is extremely professional and very courteous. The room was very clean and comfy. Location is excellent within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking was an issue, but Morgan helped us find parking at another hotel & shuttle back. Bed was super comfy. We had a great nights sleep. The complimentary breakfast was the best! would stay again!

Great service rooms are amazing. The staff was very very nice and helpful, the lady who checked us in not only said they have milk and cookies but offered if we come back after they put them up to ask her and she will pull some out for our daughter. She also said if there's no parking to let her know and she would move her car for us.

Nice location and walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. Hotel staff is very courteous and professional. Nice breakfast bar in the morning. They have a managers social Monday-Wednesday in the evening. Rooms are ok and need a little upgrade. One great benefit… you don’t have to pay to park at this hotel! Have stayed here the past two years for my daughters b-ball tourney and will come back again.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at, especially for the price. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It's just a few minutes from spokane airport. We enjoyed the pool that is open till midnight, the hot tub and exercise room as well. 5 star experience for our family!

My husband stayed here while I had a C-section at Deaconess. Everything was amazing, the room was perfect had I been able to join him, it had separate access, first floor, etc. Also the staff was amazing and put together a basket of goodies for the baby. By the time we got home we had a thank you and congratulations card waiting for us. Everyone went above and beyond. We will be back! Thank you so much for everything!

I really like this hotel. Great location, very friendly staff. Wifi is decent speeds, plenty of pillows and soft towels. It looks awesome too. I have stayed here maybe 4 times in the past year and enjoy my stay each time. I am not sure if this time the room was different or I didn't notice it before, but two things annoyed me. The toilet had maybe 2 inches of clearance with the door, annoying to close the door. The second was the sink was way off center, which caused my shoulder and elbow to hit the towel rack. Room 408 if anyone is interested.

The Holiday Inn Express Spokane-Downtown is amazingly close to Gonzaga University campus, making trips to campus for classes and meetings a breeze. The hotel was very clean and had an upscale look, with convenient parking and a hot breakfast buffet selection in the morning. The staff was extremely friendly and everything I needed was taken care of promptly. Also, the hotel offers government rate rooms, which was great!

I really liked this hotel. It looks awesome from the outside and the room had an amazing view. The staff was friendly and they had little events/themes each night in the lobby. They even had decorations up and out front there was a nice fire pit to sit by and enjoy the view. I'd definitely stay here again.

We are long time guests of this property and honestly we can't say enough about how much we love it! We have taken dozens of trips to stay and each time has us coming back for more. The staff is efficient and courteous, the management is top shelf and above all for us… They are not only pet friendly, they love our dogs! Please do your self a favor and look no further than the Holiday Inn Express "On the Rock, " you will love it!

One of the better Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed at. Their best quality is the lady who runs the breakfast, whom I always look forward to seeing on my annual visits to Spokane. She has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. Some of their younger front desk staff should learn from her example…

We have never had a bad experience here. It is our favorite place in Spokane. And the associates are always the best. If there was a pool it would be perfect.

The employees were GREAT. They were kind and helpful. You need to inform parents to stop letting their children run up and down the hallway screaming laughing and banging on doors. After a ver long and stressful day at hospital the night was long and miserable. Unattended children kept running up and down the hallways kept us up until 11:30 pm.

Everyone! Every single person there was amazing. They went well beyond their roles in every aspect. We felt part of a family. Extremely helpful, will go out of there way! The breakfast was great, homemade cookies in the evening, and a great happy hour.

Pretty nice spot overlooking Spokane and walking distance to downtown. The lobby is pretty nice and has a lot of space to meet or have some sort of event. Rooms are average, but that's okay.

This was a beautiful hotel! Check in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly with great customer service. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed as expected. The location is also great with restaurants, bars, fast food, downtown, the park, and the arena all within walking distance. The free breakfast, however, was pretty bad, even for free breakfast. The only redeeming quality to it was the fresh fruit and pastries.

I travel for work and stayed at a lot of hotels. This is by far the best hotel for the price. They have 24 hour gym, free dinner and drinks M-W, and free cookies and milk every night. They have a great free breakfast, even with gluten free options. The rooms are decent for the price. They also have the most friendly staff!

I've stayed at several holiday inn expresses but never one that looked like a castle! Was so cool! The rooms were like normal express rooms but the exterior was amazing.

I loved staying at "The Rock. " Beautiful hotel, great location, and the free breakfast is great. Service from the staff was excellent, especially the greeting from the nice woman in the breakfast area each morning. My room was very clean, and I loved the shower heads!

This is a really nice property. I would absolutely highly recommend it. It's convenient to Highway 90 and to downtown Spokane. Not a horrible drive to the airport maybe 15 minutes.

This is a really special place, primarily bc of the people (shout out to Gabe, the man). The location, on a hill in a newly renovated building is also sweet. They have a shuttle and took me to get coffee, again because they totally rule. On our month trip we spent eleven nights at various Holiday Inn Expresses around the country and this was our favorite. Also, and this is only for visitors who were ignorant like I was, Spokane (pronounced Spoke-Can) has something going on. Its hip, cool parks, nice people. Impressed all around.

This place was awesome. Very comfortable beds and great location. They even had gluten free options for breakfast and wine at nighttime. Recommend. Parking is a little tight so get there early.

Staff at check in was polite and informative. Always love the cookies. The outside and lobby is amazing. The rooms are nice, with some minor issues of time catching up with them. The location is great for everything near the university and downtown. Parking is limited but they have vouchers for one vehicle. The pet rooms have their own outside door on the first floor. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. Cinnamon rolls, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and chocolate milk. The last one made my youngest boy declare this hotel the best ever even without a pool.

This shows that it's a 2-star hotel but surprisingly I would say it's much higher than that the rooms are very clean, services very good. I had no complaints at all and location was perfect. I would say this is probably like a three or three and a half star just based on the amenities and the way the property is kept up. I would definitely stay here again.

Julie and her entire crew are the epitome of hotel concierge services. They make you feel at home, going above and beyond for their guests. They anticipate needs and are always smiling. I came here with a production crew, so we had many requests during our stay. Each time they were helpful and didn't mind when we needed their services no matter what hour. Very impressed! They also have Tenseness, a reflexology, come Thursday-Sunday and she's amazing! Only one dollar per minute!

This was my second time staying here but my first time with my dogs. The little patios that open onto a grassy place is so convenient. The first stay I was on the third floor with a beautiful view. I was worried about the first floor but no need for worries. The rooms here were wonderful also. Clean. No dog smell. They could see out the patio screen door.
Will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

I stayed at this hotel last night, 7-4 — 16… the Fourth of July… This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a hotel in my life! I have always considered the Holiday Inn to be a top notch hotel, although I hadn't stayed there much, due to the cost I always assumed the were to classy… Well I have stayed in all kinds of hotels and motels that cost way less, like almost half the cost, and the rooms and service were 100 times better. With more amnities and the staff was accomidaiting, not the case with the Holiday Inn, my 79 year old mother slept in a lawn chair in the room cuz it was more comfortable than the chair that "I" went and got out of lobby myself… I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! Very disappointed disabled veteran, Karen Barnhart.

No pool, no laundry service access. Great staff, beautiful interior, great view off the balcony. Cookies every night before bed, huge breakfast layout. Overall a great stay!

The rooms were clean and cleaned well. The breakfast was okay, but that's to be expected. The coffee out 24/7 was nice and always hot.

Nice hotel. Rooms are a little dated. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and well worth it. Only problem with the beds was the pillows. They were very soft had problems sleeping.

Great location; updated rooms and everything was very clean. Great views of downtown from the balconies. The breakfast matron went above and beyond and provided excellent service.

Great service. We have our dogs and they have rooms on the first floor with sliding doors outside which is perfect to take the dogs outside.

This is he hotel my company uses for people traveling. It's nice, the people are friendly, the location is fantastic. They also have dinner Monday-Wednesday which is really nice and the food is tasty.

"Castle on the rock" Love this place, every time I stay, it's awesome. Had my wedding ceremony there as well.

Favorite place to stay in Spokane. Amazing staff makes every stay special and leaves us always wanting to come back! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Central location, proximity to Riverfront Park and the Centennial Trail is perfect. Generally speaking, this pet friendly property and its staff is fantastic and I couldn't recommend it more highly!

If I could give this hotel more than five stars I would. They are so nice when you are here. Love my dogs very pet friendly. Great free breakfast included plus managers dinner for guests Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Fresh baked cookies and milk every night. Dog sitting for free. Shuttle service too. The remodel is gorgeous. Manager Julie is awesome along with their front desk staff. We have stayed here now over 30 times easy both before remodel and after remodel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else and we have stayed in Spokane at all the Davenport hotels and many best western plus hotels. Always come back. Great location can walk to everything from here.

Very impressed, Very cool place to stay, They try hard to please, Room Was Great Bed Was Great Pillows Were Great. Very Nice Breakfast selection, because of location on hill no traffic noise even though its downtown, great artisan pizza place in short walking distance on Division. Lots of neat places close by Riverfront park Sports Arena. It was a very nice stay.
