Love those cookies! Lots of space to hold events.

It was the worst Hilton that I've ever stayed in. We had a 2 night stay and the bed wasn't comfortable at all. Need new pillows. When I turned on the faucet in the left side it came off and the little black bolt or what ever popped out the bolt flew across the bathroom. We arrived Friday night and we were out mostly all day Saturday and no one never cleaned the room during our little stay. We told the front desk twice that there wasn't any napkins in the holder and no one never came to fill it up.

Great hotel. Even though I didnt get their famous cookie lol. Will return. Again.

The hotel is clean, they people are nice, Kristen at the front desk was very warm and friendly.

The hotel is in the heart of Greensboro, very convenient to get to the highway and near mall and downtown Greensboro. The employees are very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean.

The staff is very friendly and aims to please. I’m always greeted with a smile when I stay at this location. The cookies are pretty awesome too!

It's a great location except when you walk in a smell just smacks you in the face. Other than that, excellent staff, fresh hot coffee through the day as well. I was here for two days in the Hickory room for some training and enjoyed it.

The DoubleTree is right off of the highway, making it very convenient to get to. Everyone was very welcoming during my stay and the room was clean and cozy. No complaints.

Late check-in with no problem. Nikki at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate. There was a dust bunny the size of a small rodent hanging from the bathroom vent. But other than that it was a good room with great staff.

Room was great, bed and bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. My only problem was even though the breakfast spread (included for free as a Hilton honors gold guest) was large the food in it looked like it had been aged there for a while. I'd prefer if they kept smaller amounts in the buffet and kept it a little fresher looking. That being said, the food tasted fine and it was the best variety of foods I've seen in a doubletree breakfast buffet.

Our room was clean and the service was great. Check-in was smooth and the gentleman who assisted us was very friendly. Service in the restaurant was superb. The only issue we had was with the hallways and elevators. It was in the mid — to upper-90s on all 3 days of our stay and the hallways and elevators were unbearably hot. We thought there may have been an issue only during our stay, but from reading other reviews it appears as though it may always be unconditioned in these spaces. This was a bit of a deal-breaker for us and I’d try another hotel in town next time if traveling when it’s warm outside. (Also, I’d guess that hallways and elevators that are constantly hot and humid might have mold issues … but that’s just an assumption. )

We are HHonors members. I’ve stayed in quite a few Hilton properties. However, I met the friendliest staff last night. Fred was super helpful and friendly. But it didn’t stop there — every staff I came into contact with was super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

I travel to Greensboro every week for work and I have stayed at different hotels in the past. By far this is the best hotel! I love the cleanliness and how amazing the people are! Super friendly people! I love it! If you don’t believe me then disregard all the other — ve reviews and find out for yourselves:)

The DoubleTree Greensboro is an older hotel that was remodeled several years ago for an upscale but not ostentatious stay. It is clean & tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The furnishings are up-to-date with great Hilton beds and quality linens, flat screen TVs, and high speed internet that works flawlessly. No in-room fridge or microwave, however, except upon request. Full-service restaurant features breakfast buffet with REAL food but a little pricey if you're not Diamond or Gold. Food + bar available until late with multiple sports screens. Super easy access to highways and tons of shopping & restaurants within half-mile radius.

Great DoubleTree with free good coffee. The front desk should know more about good places to eat. Don't recommend Olive Garden for local eatery.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. We frequently use double tree hotels but I will never use this one again. When we arrived around 3 pm we waited In a long line in the lobby to be told that our room was not ready. So we were told to get back in the back of the line. The second time I made it to the counter at 4pm (so much for a guaranteed check on time) I was told again that a room was not available. At this time I asked them to please just call me when a room was ready. After another hour I had received no phone call and our shuttle was scheduled to leave at 515. Once again in the line we go. Finally after asking to speak with a manager we were finally given a room and assured that our bill would be compensated for our troubles. Guess what we, are still waiting on that. I was lied to multiple times by multiple staff. Very dissatisfied.

We were not staying at the hotel. But we went there for the Breakfast Buffet Sunday morning. Best Breakfast Buffet We have ever experienced. The food was amazing and our Server Lisa Leach was very pleasant and made sure we always had what we needed. It was so nice to always have your coffee and water to stay filled. We will be back again. I made sure to get her last name. There may be other Lisa 's that work there. Thank you again Lisa for your smiles and kindness!

Staff were super friendly upon check in. Room was clean and appointed as expected in a Double Tree. Location was very convenient for us as we were going to the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Great coffee making machine in lobby. Inly reason not five star is our reservation was for three people, but they would only offer us two for the breakfast deal. Oh well… can't win them all.

After a recommendation from a friend, I wished to treat myself to the one and only double tree chocolate chip cookie. Once in the lobby, I wanted to purchase a tin of cookies, but the shop was all sold out. However, the lady at the front desk saw me empty handed and offered me a fresh, warm cookie — for free! A small treat, yes, but it made me feel feel special and appreciated — even when I unable to get what I originally came for. Amazing customer service: they do all that is possible to accommodate! Friendly, homey interior as well.

This place was fine. The rooms were updated slightly but still had 1980s popcorn ceiling and heavy wall texture. The service was okay but they didn't have a wine opener which seemed like a pretty basic request.

Very clean. Staff was very welcoming and professional. Good eats at the attached restaurant. Restaurant has bar for some nice drinks after work.

This was a very clean location, I would have given a 5 star rating but the handle on the shower would not stay in one place so it kept getting extremely hot, the toilet seat bolt cap was broken, a few other minor details overlooked. Friendly staff, clean linens, clean room, comfortable bed! I slept like a baby! Nice size TV to watch in the room. Nice Bar in their restaurant area with craft beer available on tap. I would definitely stay here again if back in the same area.

Great location and always clean rooms. Management does an excellent job taking care of their guest.

Service was good. Front desk was polite as well as those fresh baked cookies being offered at check in. The rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves so bring a cooler if you want items to be cold.

Really good hotel in a great location for business in Greensboro. Was in town for the ESPN broadcast of a North Carolina A&T and I appreciated the closeness of the interstate and the airport, the selection of food within a short walk or drive, and comfortable accommodation.

Nice clean and modern hotel. Standard hotel room not the old school suite configuration as in the older DoubleTree hotels. Great staff at this location, super convenient to the Greensboro coliseum.

Crummy. A giant, cheaply overdressed motel where you can earn HiltonHonors points. Cheap little drip coffeemaker and icky coffee pods in the room. No minifridge or microwave in the room. No shuttle. Tacky decor, cheap furniture. The "Sweet Dreams Experience" is just another tough hotel mattress with coarse and unremarkable linens. The staff at this DoubleTree are outstanding. They give 110% service and attention to guests. Put this staff to work in a better setting and you'd have my return business. You're better off spending $10 more for Hilton Garden Inn, a genuinely comfortable, attractive, welcoming and accommodating hotel.

This stay was during A&Ts homecoming 2017. It was definitely a pleasure. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make the alumni feel welcomed. We will definitely be back next year!

Decent hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Rooms were clean, but look a little dated. Bed was comfy! Good location right off of freeway. Was very quiet also.

Horrible experience. Robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. Gas station attendant at the Exxon next said she wasn't surprised, the area is dangerous at night. Also charged a $300 smoking fee even though I don't even smoke? DON'T STAY HERE!

Met a couple of friends that were staying here for the September Festival in Greensboro. We left to get something to eat. I didn't go inside. It looked like a very nice hotel with plenty of parking and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The street name was changed a couple of years ago from "High Point Road" to "West Gate City Boulevard". Google Maps is showing the change, but some booking sites and other navigation systems are not updated to the current street name change.

Not a bad hotel, but the breakfast buffet was expensive and not worth it. Powdered eggs and greasy bacon for $13.

We stayed here for 4days, very clean and safe. Pool and gym included. I really loved how friendily the service of all of the employees was to all of us. Each employee spoke with a good attitude and greeted us each time. The bar had good food and was good service as well. However I think the color scheme of the hotel made it look less than the service provided. The owner should consider updating to a better view to match such great service.

The room was very nice, view was great from the 11th floor. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were too soft for my liking, but still nice. The only thing I was not pleased about was there was no outdoor pool and the drains in our hotel were very slow to drain. I thought I was going to overflow the sink while washing my face and brushing my teeth. Overall nice place.

Awesome hotel! I absolutely loved it. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Clean, not too expensive, friendly people :)

I have stayed here many times over the past few years. Rooms are comfortable and clean and usually quiet. Room service is good. Only improvement I would like to see is Wi Fi available in the guest rooms.

Dont stay here. After charging me an extra time, they tried to justify it. I went on a back and forth trip to the bank only for them to still not have refunded my money. The male supervisor is also very rude.

Me and the kids stayed this past weekend. Last minute trip due to the weather so I took the kids to Wet N Wild and stayed here. Wonderful customer service. Home away from home. My son adores Ms. Vivi. Was a little shocked the room we stayed in didn't have a microwave or fridge but it must of been the room type we had. Otherwise no complaints.

By 4 stars, I mean an above average 3 star hotel. Really received good customer service. Hotel seemed be recently remodeled with nice indoor pool, mini gym, and business center. Hotel was very quiet for midweek stay. Suggest one of the top floors 8-9. Had a meeting downtown, but it's very easy to get downtown on Gate City Blvd took me about 12 minutes at 8:45 am (formerly High Point Rd). Directly across from Khouri Convention CTR and close to GSO coliseum. Liked the size of my 2 Queen Room with good Wi-Fi service. Do wish they offered a simple, fast included breakfast instead of just an $11.00 buffet. Like many, I was there for business would have liked OJ, coffee, eggs, mini bagels and cereal (nothing special or expensive). They do offer coffee but was not great.

Staff were courteous, rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced.

All of the workers have been great and quick to respond and anticipate the needs of the customers. The only problem I've experienced is with the management staff not being as responsive.

I was a bit disappointed in this stay. The staff was great, but the little things were not there. The "Doubletree cookies" were not offered, although I did see others receive them. The toilet paper roll was removed, but not replaced. The drawer pulls were broken. Worst of all, there were no towels after the first day. The housekeeping staff said that two of the machines were out of order but they would bring some later, this never happened. I will continue to stay in Hilton hotels, as this seems to be an anomaly, but I would likely pick another brand when staying in the Greensboro area.

Bed was horrible. There is no refrigerator or microwave in room because there is a restaurant at the hotel?! Last time at this particular hotel. I'll stay at the Hampton across the street or the Hilton Garden Inn a couple of exits down.

The room is clean and easy to access the charging plugs. The Wi-Fi is a bit spotty in connection coverage, but works well when the connection completes. I haven't used the television, but it is an LG flatscreen, about 36". Plenty of water pressure. Coffee in the lobby. These are the things I've made use of.

After a long drive, we were exhausted and stumbled into the hotel. We were met by cheerful front desk clerks and warm cookies (I had one, or maybe 3). They got us a room super quick and it was a great room. Comfortable king bed, clean with a great shower. We ordered room service for dinner, and it came quickly to our room. The food was really good, surprisingly so. The Wi-Fi was free and VERY fast. I love Hilton properties, and this was another reminder why I love them so much. Modern furnishing, lots of special amenities, clean and comfortable. I love that they still have the Doubletree chocolate chip cookies. I highly recommend this hotel, and will stay here again if my travels bring me through Greensboro.

Had an overall great experience here was greeted by a friendly staff with prompt check in. My room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. This location also had an on site laundry which is great. I spend a lot of time on the road this is one of the nicer properties I have had the pleasure of staying at. Great location close to downtown and other attractions. Had a great workout room and indoor pool. Free fast Wi-Fi and lots of HD channels would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Doubletree does it right! I was greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie and a speedy check-in. The folks there were just as nice as they could be. The room was clean and beautiful. I love the big bed with the four fluffy pillows on it. I slept like a baby. I have been to Greensboro lots of times and have never stayed here before. Now I will never stay anywhere else.

I travel often and this wasn't one of my greatest experiences. The hotel room was ok. When I got in the room there wasn't enough towels, face or hand towels. I had to call to get more. It's obvious housekeeping aren't cleaning like they should because around the base of the toilets weren't clean. The rooms should have had the essentials and checked by a supervisor to ensure rooms are ready. I called the front desk and extended my stay for an extra day so when housekeeping knocked I informed them. I told her I needed towels, toilet tissue and trash emptied. She told me to put everything outside and she would be right back. Then another housekeeper knocked and was told the same thing and was informed another housekeeper was suppose to come back with everything. She says well dial "0"! I was appalled to get such an answer. So the housekeeper came back with only 2 face towels! I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism I was experiencing. When I left the room nothing had been moved from outside the room. I spoke to the Manager and she asked for my room number. She assured me it would be taken care of. When I returned the things had been removed, however I still didn't get enough towels and only 1 roll of toilet tissue was left! In regards to the breakfast a restaurant was adjoined to the hotel. The breakfast didn't look like most breakfast I'm used to having especially at a Hilton Property. I've stayed at many hotels and this was one of the worst experiences I've had.

I stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton in Greensboro, NC for a working vacation, and the weekend was nothing less than a complete success. My wife and daughter accompanied me on the trip, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and went the extra mile for me, even so far as to hunt down an apple for me (daily fiber requirement. Important when you get to a certain age. )! The room was clean, well-stocked with all the basics, soap, shampoo, towels, facial and bath tissue, and I liked that there was ice and vending on every floor. Nothing bother me more than having to go for a hike to grab a soda. As far as location, the hotel is located near several great restaurants for family dining, and only a short ways away from the convention center. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Greensboro area for business or for pleasure.

The room was nice, but there was a smoky smell when I walked in. A small but VERY annoying problem occurred when I woke early this morning to discover that housekeeping hadn't stocked regular coffee in the room. I called the "Careline" to ask for a packet of regular coffee to be brought up. It's been 40 minutes and no coffee. Some Careline. I stay exclusively in Hilton hotels, but I wouldn't use this one again.

The tap water was foul-smelling, the lobby coffee service was frequently out of creamer or coffee, the shower stall had mold in one corner, the pillows were half-sized, plus a 20-min wait to check-in. Hotel appears to be understaffed and rates appear elevated due to proximity to convention center.

Called to make a reservation lady was rude and interruptive. Will not be going here.

One of the biggest things I look for when I’m traveling is peace of mind and a safe environment. The Doubletree in Greensboro provided just that. I was passing through town and stayed for one night. The location is great, easily accessible and right off the highway in addition to being close to a lot of restaurants. The hotel itself is very nice, modern décor, beautiful rooms, no complaints at all. Customer service is also a big deal to me, and the staff there went above and beyond. Every person that I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out was a breeze and I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re passing through town, you’ll get your money’s worth and more here.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable when we arrived. We stayed two nights and asked for our room to be cleaned after the first night. Apparently that meant empty the trash and replace dirty towels. They didn't make the bed, replenish the shampoo, etc. Or even replace the used glasses. The hairdryer only blew cold air, and no refrigerator. Oh well.

This hotel didn't sent me my confirmation (and I forgot to follow up) but I talked to them 3 times over a course of 2 months and today, they have lost it. We sent our whole sports team here! And even though they have a room available for tonight, they will not honor the same rate. The manager argued with us on the phone instead of making it right. We are off to the Sheraton who will honor the tournament rate and was happy to have us.

I just called and spoke w/ cherly in reservations. She sounded as if she hated her job, she was rude, and unwilling to comprehend what I was trying to ask her. I guess my 2-night, 3-day stay wasn't worthy enough.

I travel extensively for business and have stayed at this particular Doubletree for at least 65 or 70 nights in 2013. I really like a lot of things about the hotel — the location, the restaurant/bar, etc. I wanted to continue to stay at this hotel, but having hot water for my shower in the morning is a basic requirement. When it happened the first time, I chalked it up to my room being at the end of the hallway. The second time (in a different room), it was irritating but I was in a hurry and didn't report it. The 3rd, 4th and 5th times, I reported it each time and expressed my displeasure with the situation. They credited me Hilton Points each time and promised to have it corrected. I was willing to give them a chance to correct the issue. Now it's the first time in 6 weeks that I've stayed at this hotel and guess what? When I went to take a shower, barely warm water again! They can't fix the problem! I went to the front desk and apparently I was one of MANY guests to report it AGAIN. I'm a very patient person and understand that these things can happen, but I've given them a lot of time to fix the issue. Even MOTEL 6 has hot water — come on people! I blame this on the management. I checked out early and made a reservation at another hotel. So, if you can handle a cold shower this is the place for you.
