Hotel was nice, met a lady that’s was traveling with 17 cats while we stayed there. I honestly haven’t slept the same since.

Got back from the wedding and my daughters stuffed animals were tucked in. She was so excited! It’s the little things!

Our stay didn’t quite start out so smooth. My husband got stuck in the elevator and pretty much had to smash his way out. Some of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. But the highlight that made this stay here worth it, was this wonderful man Luis. He runs the breakfast buffet here and he is nothing short of amazing. If it wasn’t for his awesome personality and great food, I would probably not recommend this place. But Luis is by far the best reason to stay here. When we come back to Watertown, we will definitely be coming back. There are a lot of hotels here, but only one Luis.

My wife and I booked a room through Priceline. We a=lived at the hotel and they told us we didn't have a room. They tried to downgrade our room and charge us more. Eventually they got us into a room which has a strange odor to it. I was told that was what we got for booking online. this hotel has DEFINATELY steadily declined over the years. In the future will definately be spending a little more and staying somewhere nicer.

We checked reviews prior to our stay and saw very positive reviews. I remember reading about Luis who runs breakfast weekday mornings. Everything I've read was spot-on. Our room was clean. When we asked for extra things like a crib or crib blankets, they were immediately placed into our room. When we asked for things that we really shouldn't have needed but in our minds we did, they honored our request. We never had a single person be rude, we had many more people even being accommodating and asking if we needed help, and again the breakfast and the atmosphere there was amazing! I can't wait to stay there again when I visit my family!

Awesome place even with the construction. The cook is fantastic, the breakfast was awesome.

Currently staying here. Booked a king room, clearly stated I was traveling with two dogs. Front desk still booked us into a no pet room. Switched to a double, no big deal until we get to the room. Beds are TINY, toilet is leaking, the solution is to give us more towels to keep the floor dry, and the whole hotel smells HORRIBLE! Only gave them two stars because they do have a decent breakfast and housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

My family and I travelled from Canada to stay at this hotel for the first time. Staff were friendly BUT the beds were awful! They felt like concrete and were beat up old box springs. My back was extremely sore the next day. The Windows had mold and the shower did not drain properly. Breakfast was also very bad. Spoke to the front desk about my concerns and they did not take any discount of my room. Very disappointing. Will stay at the Hilton next time.

The property itself gets three stars but the staff gets 5. Hotel is aging and it shows. Only one small elevator and lots of stairs to get between the front lobby and breakfast/conference rooms. A ramp was installed to help with accessibility but it is very narrow with tight turns. BUT… The staff is wonderful — from the front desk to the breakfast attendants. They were just super!

This hotel has the best customer service that I've seen for a long time. Every morning at breakfast you will meet Louis, he is extremely caring and he obviously cares about all the customers. He went above and beyond with his helpfulness and kindness. Thank you for hiring employees like Louis.

Conveniently located, extremely clean hotel with the nicest hotel staff you will meet. Room is good value for the price, and a comfortable size. The rest of premises were nicely maintained and attractive. Lively little bar, breakfast was fine. We also used the pool area extensively and enjoyed it. It's indoors but with a large sun-roof so it's sunny and bright. Good shower, nice beds, very clean overall. But seriously the staff makes this hotel!

Very good experience, nice to have microwave and mini-fridge (very cold, a plus), super-comfy bed. Bathroom grout and wallpaper could be touched up a bit. Friendly staff. Coffee was terrible but rest of breakfast was nice — waffles were very tasty. I would stay again for sure, no major complaints.

It is a decent hotel. The woman working the front desk was really helpful and kind, as was the man working the breakfast area. The room is clean. The breakfast was good. The pool and gym leaves something to be desired.

One elevator, does not support the amount of rooms in hotel very slow to get on. Tv would shut off every 5 minutes and restart. Doors would slam shut and echo down hall way, extremely loud! Rolls of carpet laid out everywhere, tripping hazard.

I was happy with this room at first. I had gotten extra coffee and creamer setups from one of the maids on the floor to set up for morning coffee. The maid for our room came in and took it. This makes me wonder how safe my belongings were.

Was a decent place to stay. Here are a few ideas: make the hotel no smoking on premises parking lot looks like an ashtray, put in some outdoor trash recepticals so people won't use dog station, clean pool area often check and replace towels more than daily, bathroom ceiling is peeling use appropriate paint, and do something about the coffee served at breakfast. I understand that most of these issues are a direct result of customers whom have no sense of civic responsibility.

The staff are very friendly. Hot breakfast is good. Enjoyed the pool but they need to bring towels more often. We went on two separate mornings and there were no clean pool towls. Good value and will stay again.

I am here now and my room is hot. The heat hasn't been switched over to a/c due to Watertown still expecting cold weather.

Extremely convenient for business travelers due to ease of parking plus walkability downtown. Fitness center and pool very useful. Wasn't able to take advantage of breakfast or hotel bar but certainly a plus that they are offered.

When we checked into this hotel yesterday the people at the desk were very welcoming to us and nice the manager was a very nice lady to us very sweet I forgot her name. They had some very good coffee after we got settled into out rooms. Last night we also met a general manager from another best western hotel she’s originally from Texas and very sweet as well. This morning when we came down for breakfast another warm welcome from the best cook they had anything we needed Luis was there to help us and serve us very well. Luis thanks again for the wonderful breakfast man that kept me full the whole day I appreciate all of you there.

Overall a pretty decent stay for the price. The hot breakfast and pool were a bonus. The beds were comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again, for sure.

We stayed here while visiting our son at Fort Drum. The hotel is beautiful and has a great bar. The best part was breakfast… awesome staff who were so very friendly!

We came from Tn to visit a friend stationed at Ft Drum. This was our first visit to New York. This was a great hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was so good. Great food and very friendly staff. Our waitress brought me a hot lemon water for my cough and I didn't ask for it. She was just very caring and sweet. It helped. I would recommend this hotel for the price, location, comfort and friendly staff. If we go back I will definitely stay here!

This location should be called the Grand Dame of the BW brand. An older peoperty but extremely well maintained. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it is on the National Historical Registry. Love the enclosed 2nd floor pool/spa/gym. Laundry on the Lower Level. Lots of parking. Nice decor in the room. BIG picture window. We were here in late February and I wasn’t chilly at any time indoors. Had a lively time at Savory’s Friday night. Not accustomed to live music at a Best Western. Kudos to the staff. Very pleasant stay. Next time I come up here to visit my boy at Fort Drum I already know where I’m staying.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was clean and inviting. The staff went out of their was to make the stay enjoyable and they were a fun group of people. Breakfast was the BEST! Not a continental… but a FULL breakfast with 2 different flavored waffles that you make yourself. The hotel itself is located downtown with lots of small local shops around it. The busier large stores are within 3 miles, so it's a short distance to any shopping you want to do. The room rate was so reasonable that I will definitely be staying there again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for a birthday party. Service was friendly and the rooms were well kept for the most part. However, the pool was way over chlorinated. It made my neon bathing suit turn a weird pastel color, like it was bleached or something. It also took forever to get the scent out of my hair. Made my friend have itchy skin… It needs to get fixed. Breakfast was good. The man there was a bit "hoverey", but he was nice. Vending machine products were reasonably priced. We stayed 2/9 to 2/10/18

After losing our home in a house fire, we spent 17 nights at the Best Western Watertown. For that entire time, we had a wonderful experience. Our dog was welcomed and accommodated, the staff was friendly and helpful, and every need was quickly attended to. The icing on the cake was the daily hot breakfast, prepared and tended to by Luis. He was quick with a friendly word and a smile and made sure we had what we needed each morning. My kids looked forward to seeing him every day. He made our time out of our home a little easier. Kudos to the Best Western for hiring such a dedicated and kind employee! We will definitely be recommending the Best Western Watertown in the future.

As usual my stay was excellent. I have stayed at this property on many occasions without any incidents or bad experiences. I keep coming back for the quality of the rooms and other guest amenities. I highly recommend this establishment. I didn't even mention the room rates as they are one of the best, if not the best, in Watertown.

The front desk employees were very friendly and always said hello and asked if everything was OK, or if you needed anything, just let them know. They did this whenever I walked by in the lobby. I was extremely pleased with the quality and presentation of the Breakfast buffet. I would like to thank Luis for his go get-em attitude, to make sure all of his guests had enough of all food and beverages. I believe he went out of his way to ensure everyone was happy and satisfied. Each morning that I came down for breakfast he showed a genuine concern for how my night was and wished me a great day. We need more friendly people like Luis in this world. Overall I would stay here again if I am in the area, and recommend this hotel to others. I had a room on the 2nd floor of 5 floors with 2 double beds that had very firm mattresses (the best that I have slept on in any hotel). Yes there is an elevator and handicapped ramps to get to different levels. The weekend I was there the hotel was fully booked, but there was no noises heard in my hallway or room.

I have stayed here two times. Both times were pleasant stays. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was always fresh and tasty.

I enjoyed the room. Bed was comfy, room was clean. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The pool was nice and warm. All the staff we ran into were very nice.

The rooms are nice and clean. There Is plenty of space for the three if us that are staying. The pool is also nice with the balcony outside. The staff are very kind as well.

Outstanding experience while here for permissive TDY while house hunting around Fort Drum. Pet friendly to our two dogs, and every interaction we had with different staff members was very positive and friendly. Highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Nice property in the city with good access to local restaurants and services. Nice value for the money. The Bar and Restaurant on site are fine. We stayed as a group of 10 and everything was just fine.

I can only write about my room, which looked like a basement storage room. I did have a pet with me which might have been the reason why. However I have stayed at many pet friendly hotels and this was the worst one I have been to. I looked outside my "window" and it was non stop cars coming in and out the front to check in. The pet friendly room had such a strong odor that it was being covered by cleaners and air fresheners. The wall were thin and I heard every door slam, every hall way conversations. Do not waste your time on breakfast it was vile. I had to pay extra and go out to get a decent meal. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Very nice hotel, fresh coffee in lobby is a bonus. Good breakfast included with stay. Benches to sit outside in nice weather and enjoy coffee and sites. Great value for money. Fridge and microwave in rooms. Beds were a little squeaky, but otherwise ok, very nice updated bathroom. Would recommend this hotel to stay at. Great service.

Bad location! Filthy! Lounge not open! Pool closed early! Had to make sofabed up myself for my kids. Lots of dust! Did not feel safe! Only 1 employee working, he seemed to be doing everything! Positive: The only employee working (at front desk) was really nice! He needs to look for work elsewhere.

The staff are great, the breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of items. The room had been updated and was clean. The floor hallway was extremely dated, making it look dingy and unclean. We stayed there on a Sunday, and there isn't much life later in the day/evening. There aren't a lot of eating establishments open on Sunday. We were very fortunate to find a little pub on the river called Maggie's. Great staff, basic but good grub.

I'm no stranger to hotels. I've stayed in many and worked in one. That being said, the staff here was great. They were friendly and helpful. Room was not bad, could use some updating, but the beds were comfortable and clean. Shower didn't drain well which is probably the cause of the less than ideal condition we found it in. The one major flaw we found was in the breakfast. I understand a free breakfast buffet is becoming more and more rare in the industry, but if you're going to offer one, try to make the food edible. It was gross. The coffee offered was some of the worst I've ever had. I took one sip and dumped it. Overall experience was good though and I would recommend staying, just look for breakfast elsewhere.

I stayed here with my dog and I had a very pleasant time. The front desk was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean, spaceous with nice big bed! Music at the lobby was very good! Breakfast was included and they even had gluten free options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Watertown.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Small pool good for the kids. Rooms have been updated. Breakfast breakfast area was busy with lots of people when we went. Had hot eggs, sausage waffles etc.

The room was very clean and in a good shape to have a good night, the only thing was I found just two towels in the bathroom in a double queen room, no enough bath supplies like shampoo and bodywash, besides that everything else was good, people at breakfast very friendly and helpful!

Good hotel for a basic stay. Pros — sleep special program, bassinets in rooms for babies, pet friendly. Nice and clean inside rooms. Cons — dirty looking outside and in hallways. Front entry is not inviting at all. Old AC unit. Cracked walls and ceilings along with cracked tile in bathroom. Overall I would stay again. It's good for a night but if you're looking for a long period of time. Find something more comfy for your family for a longer period.

Stayed here twice. Enjoyed my stay both times. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Rooms were in great condition. Hotel is right in the heart of the city which makes commuting to places very easy.

The place was beautiful and the front desk were nice and worked really quickly. The rooms were sooooo nice and clean and wasn't that expensive. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was big and nice.
