Clean and friendly. Had a small issue with the first room we were given. Management took care of it and moved us to a different room, (upgrade) which was no easy task as they were fully booked for the weekend. Thanks again!

The one gentleman with the glasses and shaved head went out of his way to deliver excellent service. Honestly wouldn't stay here again if it wasn't for him. Average accommodations but no fridge/microwave. Average cleanliness, staff is pretty friendly.

Nice hotel, it didnt seem like a very nice hotel from the outside, but the inside was very neat, and clean. The fitness area was nice except the treadmill wasnt working lol. The bed was comfortable however, which is the whole reason you rent a room afterall.

Clean hotel, nice location, easy access to the interstate, and friendly staff, just slightly loud and a little outdated. Good place to stay for a quick night's sleep overall.

Smoking rooms and breakfast in the morning also clean.

This place was a total dump… dirty holes in the walls they say all non-smoking rooms yet the room reeked of smoke and burn holes in the bedding. Will never stay there again. Stay away!

Nothing was special here. Everything was pretty average. The parking lot was not plowed well for the snow. The rooms felt very dated.

Very nice staff. Very accommodating, but you get what you pay for in terms of amenities. Simple clean motel!

What a pleasant surprise! Fear not, weary traveler. Remembering other Days Inn stays and that this was one of the cheapest at the exit ramp I didn't have high expectations. However, this place is clean, roomy and friendly (outdated, maybe, but I was only starting for 1 night. ) The breakfast was pretty no nonsense but adequate. I wouldn't bother with the steakhouse across the street, though…

Slept great. Clean room but no microwave or fridge. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Easy access. Very friendly helpful staff, both at midnight and early AM. Clean, simple, quiet rooms. We missed breakfast but Mc Donalds and Denny's are across the street. Great roadtrip pit stop!

Nice quiet even though on main road. Easy access to all main highways and close to downtown Utica. Very clean rooms. Very pleasant staff.

Stayed overnight. Nice place. Its been a Very hot late September, the Air Conditioning was nice and cold. Slept great.

Great location, clean room, comfortable bed, fair price, friendly staff… honestly the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review was the breakfast which… well, McDonald's is right across the street.

The security doors outside didn't work, the room smelled musty (which while discovered was because of water damage), the light/fan in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling, the breakfast was mediocre at best, and when I checked out I wasn't even asked how my stay was. I have stayed at other Days Inns before and they were much nicer. Would not stay at this one again, and if it had been a first time experience with the chain, I wouldn't want to stay at any of them.

Water pressure was weak. Could not change setting on shower head. Everything else was good.

Found needs an updating. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast very busy with long line for waffles. Coffee, egg & cheese and toast good. Staff cordial in all respects. Long walk to room because side door not working.

Clean, Hospitable staff, decent amount of channels, espn, starrs movie channels and basic cable TV channels. Double room had two full beds, TV on table, desk w/chair, free Wi-Fi (it's not a question), tall dresser, chair, nightstand, single shot coffee pot w/ two regular n one decaf packages. $132.00 per night, AAA, Military, AARP discounts.

Not a bad hotel, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good.

Got switched to a handicapped room. Lock on the door did not work well. Noisy until around 10:30pm. Bed and room were clean. TV worked well. Only one open plug to charge with.

So, the stay wasn't bad, but a few things pushed it down to less than average. *The beds were a little hard, but not too bad. * The main thing that kept me up though was that whenever I'd be almost asleep, I'd hear someone talking while walking down the hallway or opening a door which would cause the door to our room to rattle. I turned on the bathroom light just to have the fan noise. Later I turned on the room AC fan for the same effect. *While we were hanging out, my daughter saw a couple of ants on or near her bed… so that wasn't ideal. *My husband had trouble a couple of times getting the key card to work in the outside door and had to walk around front to get in. *We had to leave by 6, so didn't have breadfast… it started at 6:30 *Also no refrig in room. So those were the negatives. On the plus side, it was convenient right off the thruway and the staff was friendly.

Nice room. Good location. I enjoyrd my stay. I will return to the hotel on my next visit.

When we first walked in the entrance to get to our room we were overtaken by the smell of marijuana, I mean bad… we got to our room to trash outside the door. The room was "clean" but the size of a closet. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Some of the non-smoking rooms smell a bit like smoke. The shower has pretty good water pressure. Nothing fancy here, good price for overnight stay.

The hotel is a bit shabby (common areas more so than the rooms) but the bed was good and the staff were very friendly. The room was also quiet despite being on a fairly busy road. The continental breakfast was basic but free. There were some restaurants (mostly fast food) within walking distance. Again, there were no power outlets near the bed (for charging my phone, which I use as an alarm clock) and the hotel-provided alarm clock was on the TV stand. I was deliberately trying to keep the costs down for work, so the hotel was pretty much as expected.

Did not have enough money on my credit card to cover the room and the gentleman still worked with us and gave us a room for cash even though he didn't have to. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the breakfast with other people that we're going to the same Race's that we were. For this I will be a returning customer whenever I am in Utica.

Pros: Walked in and got a room at the online price, super easy. A pleasant room (smoke-smell in the hallways), clean enough, especially for the price. Good Wi-Fi, too! Cons: Was told to park in the back of the building so I could easily find my room, but my window looks out the front, so I moved my car because there aren't sufficient cameras and it's not the best neighborhood. Coffee pot didn't work. I didn't end up staying the entire night though! But, based on the receptionist's reaction when I took 4 bedbugs to the front desk in a cup at 11 pm, the fact that I encountered these pests is not the norm for this place!

Very reasonable rate to stay. I can't find one thing that didn't make this a great place to stay. Very clean rooms and bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

It was easy to book online. I was able to get a suite for under $100. The furniture was dated, but there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The beds were comfortable. The Days Inn breakfasts are very limited. We ended up going to McDonald's across the street. As a place to stop on short notice while traveling, it was good.

Do not stay at the red roof inn down the street. If your looking for a decent place for cheap money stay here. Pretty clean, quiet and close to food. Again red roof is verrryy ghetto. Stay here instead.

Utica is down and out, and this hotel is no exception. Spartan rooms, no elevator, scary neighborhood. The place was empty, so I can't really complain about noise. Ok in a pinch, but there are better options nearby.

The room was terrible. It smelled bad and was not clean at all. I have kids and it was no place for them to stay. When I asked for a refund they said they held the room, but that is a lie because I was in the lobby when other people came in and they had rooms available. The GM basically laughed at me when I asked for a refund. I will never stay there and urge others not to stay there as well.

This hotel is a very good deal if you are just looking for a clean, comfy place to spend the night. No pool, not a fancy workout room, but that's OK — it was almost $100 cheaper for the night than the Hampton next door! Seriously, I've stayed at half a dozen different Hampton Inns, and this place, while not quite as upscale, was every bit as clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Would stay there again, for sure.

Tried for days to make a reservation — no answer at hotel, front desk or reservations. Called 800 # and they were willing to make a reservations but I wanted to make sure there was still someone working at that hotel. The operator tried to call the "back" line number as well as the front desk and could not receive an answer either. Is this hotel still in buisiness.
