Quiet place right off the highway.

Location is nice. Room service is good. Good restaurants around hotel. Gym is very small. Wi-Fi is slower than acceptable for me. Only one washer and dryer, which only take coins.

The young lady at the front desk couldn't get the card machine working and were unable to get us into a room. We tried two different rooms over for times. Finally she let us in with the master key just so we could go to sleep. The floor is wet from the AC leaking as well. The room is otherwise clean and well kept.

The staff was simply amazing at this hotel. The best, most friendly, most helpful and charmingly sweet ladies at the front desk. Continental breakfast was great, beds were comfy.

Nice room. Front desk staff super nice. Loved the breakfast. Omelets, bacon, automatic pancake machine, coffee… Awesome.

The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. The workers were very nice and they were very helpful. They helped us make our stay discounted and helped us find activities in the area and they had DVDs that were free to use in the hotel room which was nice. The pool was not the nicest but it was okay. We passed by a workout area and it seemed good.

I was here for a wedding. It was pretty good. It had all of the basics. Their breakfast was pretty inedible though.

The hotel was nice. Fitness center is like the size of a tiny bathroom though so that sucked. Indoor pool is cool but the location is in the middle of nowhere.

Experience was fine but making reservations I think they're taking naps and siestas in the back during weeknights I know they're not that busy. Long tracts of times they don't answer their phones many times I tried…

Very nice and clean place. The complimentary breakfast is always the best. Tables are always clean and the staff is always ready to assist you. Nothing but a great experience when we visit and stay there.

Hotel clean, nice size rooms. First night was great, second night next room filled with intox family making noise all night, slamming doors. Drawers etc. The front desk did get it fixed the second time I called. Part of the issue is the room door and bathroom doors don't close slowly or quietly, they slam. So anytime someone on the floor leaves or comes in a room the door slams loudly so the whole floor hears it, the same with the bathroom doors. They need to put something on the door to stop them from slamming and also something on the bottom to help keep all the hallway noise down. I would of given 5 stars if not for all the noise.

Very efficient and friendly staff. Clean rooms, breakfast starts early at 6am. Variety of breakfast foods so everyone is satisfied yogurts, eggs, sausage, pastry, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. Coffee tea and juice. Cozy lounge room, quiet and comfortable. Room has keurig and provided pods, sugar/cream, fridge and microwave. Didn't try the pool, it was small. Fitness room has cardio equipment. Near many food establishments.

The room was very nice and the Keurig in the room was a good perk. My shower had great water pressure, but the drain could not keep up. The continental breakfast wasn't bad.

Everything was clean and nice. The beds we're as hard as a rock. My only complaint. The free morning breakfast was more than the average free breakfast.

A great Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast starts at 5:30am. The one restaurant within walking distance is good. Nice rooms and an indoor pool.

Expensive for a chain hotel, but well with it! Super friendly staff. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. It was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast had hot items like pancakes, eggs and breakfast meats. It was a nice breakfast. Coffee was really good for a hotel. This was an enjoyable stay and we wish every hotel on our trip was this enjoyable.

Bad very bad. We got cheated the minute we walked in the door. Our receipt was $128 the card was charged $144. We confronted them and they said sorry mistake. After that they adfed another $100 to the card because they said they smelled smoke and weed. My wife and I are non smokers and we DON'T smoke weed. They sent picture of evidence and we sent it to the corporate office and they wondered what it was. Hotel manager was rude and told us and corporate different stories. Be careful if you stay there and make sure you check your credit card statement and keep your receipt.

Clean rooms, large bathroom, free parking. Breakfast typical American.

Great decor and friendly staff. Updated recently and very comfortable rooms. Don't provide cookies after 5 in the afternoon nor is coffee available in the lobby area during the evening. Forgot my shaving cream and used the cheap envelope substitute for shaving cream they provided. Totally useless. In spite of these weak points we had a good stay and would return.

I stayed for one night but honestly I have not one complaint. It was clean, quite, beds were nice clean. I would stay again.

I spent one night at the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is located between the Thruway and downtown so is pretty convenient to a lot of restaurants and the Thruway, but also sits back from the road so is pretty quiet. The hotel was clean, the AC worked well, and the top floor rooms have very high ceilings. More electrical outlets near the beds would have helped, but there were at least some. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was the typical HIE breakfast. Overall it was a good stay and I’d stay there again.

Great service, the rooms were modern and didn't feel outdated. The pool was great (I have a 2 year old). Nothing to write home about in food right by it, but there is an Italian restaurant in walking distance. It is right off the highway and just a stop for us.

The hotel was clean and the service was great. The man working the front desk was beyond helpful with directions and suggestions where to eat, and friendly all at the same time. They also arranged for us to have a later check out time because of a race we were doing, great accommodations!

Room was very clean and well appointed. They let us check out late after a long night at the casino. It was great.

Very nice all around, money well spent. Been traveling cross country for the past couple weeks and this has been the best hotel so far, even better than other HI inexpress's.

This hotel really was the highlight of my recent trip to Utica. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. My children loved it. The facility was clean and great to stay at for a few days. I would absolutely go here every time I came to Utica if I ever planned on coming back.

My family and I have travelled to many hotels for our kids sports and then while looking for colleges for our children. We were very lucky to find this hotel when we were searching for my youngest college. We have stayed in many hotels and usually you can find a clean hotel, but services may just be fair, or a price maybe right but its not that clean. We have been very lucky because this hotel has the whole package. Its only a few years old and the staff is always outstanding. We have already stayed here a few times and are looking forward to our visit next month. If you get a chance to stay I am sure you will be welcomed with a smile and kind words at breakfast from Karin (breakfast attendant/ staff member) as well the rest of the staff. We could have stayed at hotels that were down the street from my sons college but we have chosen to drive 8 minutes because we are treated so well here and its is so clean. Give it a shot you wont be sorry.

I thought it was a very nice, clean and very quiet hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts had something for everyone and very very neat buffet, wish I had gotten up earlier to enjoy more than a banana and coffee, it all looked really good. I probably would rate my stay as EXCELLENT, but I was there barely 12 hours. Next time I come to Utica, this is where I'll be.

The hotel was fairly nice, but rather pricey. For the price, I would have expected a bit cleaner room (e. G. Found an old bottle cap) and would have expected that the phone would be picked up when I called from the room Saturday evening. (I suspect that they were understaffed. ) The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was small but nice. The hotel was about 30 minutes from where I wanted to be, so I only gave it a so-so score in terms of Location. However, for those who want to be in Utica, it seems to be well situated.

I have small children and was looking for a suite that had an enclosed bedroom so that I didn't wake them up all night. The king sized suite had an extremely misleading description, leaving me paying more for a suite that serves no purpose for my needs. However, the hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were pleasant. The picture shows two televisions less than 5 feet apart in the same open room? Why? Who needs that.
