Excellent location, good rooms, attentive and helpful staff, only the breakfasts were not to my taste.

Air conditioning iced over. Heat creeping up in the room. Maintanece turned heat up to 84 to defrost it and said he'd be back In 20 minutes. An hour later called the desk for a new room. They offered a fan. It's 84 degrees inside, 81 outside. Heard another customer complaining about the same thing.

Hotel at the top. Location. Reception. Breakfast. Just perfect.

Great location and good facilities and good breakfast. We arrived at just after midday and were allowed in room straight away.

Staff are lovely but the internet is unbearable even at 2am in the morning when no one is using it and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable our 3year old son wouldn’t sleep on it… there are too many other options so we wouldn’t return here I’m afraid.

Hotel is the best I have stayed at in NY. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with full kitchen. The breakfast is buffet and excellent. It is true that 4 elevators without little for the number of floors, but ws a total exaggeration say that you can not live with it, with getting up half an hour before I solved it.

at the reception there is an employed who ruined our day. His name is Michael Gonzales, who after hearing our problem with a reservation became so impatient that he canceled our reservation for the last night and we should have went to another hotel with all that that entails.
But on the other hand, Merick, has been a genius of help, striving beyond what is expected. Diogenes has collaborated, too.
'll. I just hope Mr. Gonzales learns some attention to the guest.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. It's a bit pricey but staying anyplace in NYC is not cheap. The staff was friendly and there was an on premise 24 hr mini store to grab drinks, snacks and toiletries.

This was the perfect hotel for me and my family. Not only is it in a great location, but the hotel itself is very nice. The staff are some of the friendliest workers I've ever encountered in a hotel. Also, the breakfast is amazing! There is a ton of variety and all the food is very high quality and tasty. Plus, the eating area is on the third floor and a lot of the walls are full sized windows, so you can look down onto the streets and at the surrounding buildings. There is also a nice view of a park. All in all, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

As most families with kids know, having access to a microwave and large fridge is just heaven! That’s why I love staying at the Residence Inn. The location of this hotel is great and the rooms are pretty big for NYC. We requested two rooms for our family of 6 and as requested, they were right next to each other as well. As expected, valeting your car is going to cost you ($66 per 24hrs) with no in/out, and the service is tad bit slow (I requested a few extra linens for our sofa bed — took almost an hr to reach anyone by phone, and then waited another 30-45min to get it). The only negative is the breakfast, it’s free, it’s in a confined space and during the week, it’s shorter. So it’s a literal free for all — to say that it’s crowded would be an understatement — it’s a HOT MESS! Save yourself the hassle and grab a coffee and pastry from the coffee shop down stairs (if you can make it down the elevator because the entire hotel is heading to the 3rd floor for breakfast).

Loved loved loved! Convenient to subways. Easy walk to broadway shows. Only downer is elevator wait during the breakfast rush, but how do you stop a stampede of free food? Maybe open it up longer? I'll be back!

This is a great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay and just like other Residence Inn branches u wouldn't like to go back home. This one in particular is in the heart of the city, walkable distance from malls, great views and the service is just great. I would recommend it to everyone.

As amazing hotel! It's is one minute from times square! Very nice and clean the double rooms have their own kitchen. The staff is very very polite kind and helpful for everything! The breakfast it's good but always almost the same. They can do it better in my opinion! The only issue is that our room was in a high floor and the elevator is a nightmare we had to wait for ages even more in busy hours of the day.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was a bit repetitive, the rooms were great especially having a kitchenette. Awesome housekeeping clean tidy good job The price per night a bit steep however it is NYC. Overall great experience highly recommend.

Fantastic location and very attentive and knowledgeable staff. A short walk to so many sites. A shout out to the front desk. There is always lots of people there and they do a great job making sure all get attention.

This hotel is great! I stayed here with 5 high school seniors and two other parents for an AP Art History trip. They treated us so well. One great example is on our last day, the Super Shuttle driver wanted to charge us $100 more than our contracted rate. One of the hotel employees really went out of his way to stop that from happening. I so appreciated that! Also the location was perfect and the free breakfast quite good.

Incredible spot in the core of the apple. The staff are super friendly, very hard working and accommodating. Great breakfast spread. Be a good guest and bus your own table; it's not a requirement by any means but it doesn't hurt to show some respect to other guests and the top notch staff. Thanks fam.

The breakfast buffet was super busy when I was there which is to be expected on a Saturday morning. I stopped by the bar during karaoke and it was lovely. The room was compact and efficient. The bathroom was okay. Dated but clean.

Upsides: The hotel's location is great, perfect for a first time stay in NYC or if you want to spend most time mid-town Manhattan. The staff are very professional and friendly. Downsides: aging hotel my room was dark and the bathroom very basic. I certainly think its possible to find a place with more character for the price. The breakfast is what I would rate as sub-par, I would rather not have breakfast included and pay for a good breakfast or brunch somewhere else (i didn't even eat on the second morning). All and all the great location makes me say it was an ok to good choice to stay here for a weekend, but if you're thinking of spending some time at the hotel book something else (we were out all the time).

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Plenty of space considering it's a room in Manhattan. Comfortable Marriott beds. Staff is very friendly. The hotel lobby and breakfast is very busy in the morning hours.

The location is really great. You have a few meters to Bryant Park where you can have a great breakfast. In a few minutes you will be in Times Square and at the largest Macy's in the world. 5th Ave, Empire State, Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center and Grand Central Station can be reached within 5-10 minutes. The hotel is a good 4 star. The rooms are very large and comfortable. Breakfast is cheap but not really something for discerning breakfast eaters. The price for a 4 star in Manhattan is totally OK. Important for us was: the room had a bathtub!

You rarely go wrong with Marriott’s Residence Inn for family vacations. The Residence Inn New York Time Square is no exception. Great location, great service, spacious well furnished rooms. The included breakfast is delicious and generous. For sure a repeat for our next NYC family visit!

Good location The right attention. Excellent breakfast! The standard room but very comfortable and with everything you need to spend a good stay.
Considering that in NY the rooms are never big and that the prices are not cheap.
To walk everywhere, Manhattan within reach of your feet…

31st floor is quiet. Room is spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. Complementary breakfast had many options but was quite crowded in the morning as a good percentage of guests choose that option. Elevators are crowded in the morning on the way down with some people on lower floors saying they waited 20 minutes for an elevator with room to ride. Great location next to Bryant Park and only a few blocks from Times Square.

Very good service and great variety in the breakfast they offer. It is also in front of a subway station. The only problem is that they have 4 lifts that are not sificientes.

The breakfast and the Desayinador are very good. The rooms are as big as they are. And the staff is extremely friendly. Especially Miss Francesca.

The chef and his staff prepares an excellent assortment of tasty and tantalizing treats to thrill your morning. Wonderfully seasoned. He and the crew are personable and graciously accommodating. Thank you. Room service 505 12/20 — 12/26 was perfunctory and stellar. Challenge with the tub was handled quickly.

This hotel obviously has a great location. The rooms are clean and not run down as you might expect. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet has real scrambled eggs, not the powdery stuff. If you take the one bedroom suite, you get one of the larger rooms in New York City for a good price. I would stay again.

Decent property right in downtown Manhattan. Subway entrance is just across the street (literally 100' from the front door of the hotel). Small workout space but if there early you have the place to yourself. Free breakfast nothing special but got the job done. Elevators a little slow at times but room was clean and modern. Compared to some of the pricier options, quite likely to stay here again next trip.

Had an amazing stay at the residence Inn! Location is perfect Breakfast was fab, Room was perfect (sofa bed mattress could be bit thicker, but for kids it was fine) We got upgraded to corner view room as it was my sons 16th Birthday. Well located close to Metro and close to all spacious rooms for a family of 4 members cooking toaster and they leave you a stove how the food is bought by weight there is microwave enough towels lifts which does not require a lot of waiting time buffet breakfast well and the The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bad experience started badly the first night with the room not available for a unclear reason it ended the last night with a call from the lobby at midnight by an employee who without the slightest Garbo intimated to go to the reception for a Problem with the credit card. Not wanting to hear reasons and not caring about the late hour is that in the room there were two children sent two employees to withdraw from the room to solve the problem. Once in the concierge he explained that for the payment of the room was matched an American Express. I pointed out that the card delivered to Check in was a Mastercard and finally calches. He made a payment transaction with the card and at the time of my checking the amounts when I pointed out that the amounts did not correspond to the reservation after several excuses where the figures continued to change always downward and realized that It came out yet another of mine to point out that the day after the check out could have clarified everything and not do it at midnight, offering me to take anything for free to the shopping adjacent to the reception, which I strongly refused, given the time I He dismissed. Recatomi in my room I received a withdrawal SMS certainly not authorized by me.
This unfortunate episode is far from the concept of customer and a chain like Marriott can not allow even the last of its employees such behavior.

Very nice hotel right in the heart of Manhattan. Which is great and has it's challenges as well. Close to everything walking distance to time square, Bryant park was literally across the street. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was excellent! Rough getting a place to wait for the valet to park the car but that's NYC! View from the 23rd floor was amazing, plus front desk staff was friendly and very helpful!

Centrally located in the heart of the city with free Wi-Fi services. Pleasant, friendly, ready to assist and experienced staff. Modern and well looked after facilities. Rooms are very neat and excellently maintained. Excellent kitchen with capabilities to cater for different cuisine for its diverse clientele. Safe environment for kids and all. Easy access to the subway and flagship stores, restaurants, offices, etc.

Beautiful room with a full view of the Empire State building. Room was nicely renovated, and beds comfortable. Best of all, the service was spectacular. Front desk staff was so on point, it felt like I was coming home to a full service condo building.

Professionals stay away. I've come to appreciate residence inn as a nice home away from home when I am working in different cities (from my experiences at other locations in Chicago, Denver, Fairfax, Houston, San Diego, etc. ) However, this hotel is a mad house. It is loud and chaotic, employees at the front desk are stressed out, rude and impatient. I did not feel valued as a Marriott platinum member. I assumed this was due to the busy location, until I had a much more pleasant experience at courtyard a block away. The elevator is very slow during peak times in the morning which wasn't helped by one being out of service on a day that I had an important meeting to make. I'm still giving an least 3 stars as this is a good place for tourists and families visiting new york, and the breakfast and restaurant are both high quality and well done. This is just not a place where staying long term for work is an option for me due to the annoyances. I will not return.

I enjoy the hotel and the staff is very accommodating. The hotel is located in a very convenient location and getting around the city is easy from this location. The interior needs some upgrading but it is more than adequate with breakfast being plentiful and quick to access. Breakfast could run a bit longer.

My wife and I had such a great 3 night stay here, It was our first visit to New York. We were in town while attending a Google Partners meeting but we wanted to be closer to times square so we stayed here. I loved our room it was like a mini apartment and had everything we needed. It was very clean and the bed was actually comfortable unlike other hotels. Even though we were hundreds of miles away it felt like a mini home. I will gladly come back here for next years meeting.

Great location just minutes away from Times Square, Empire state building etc. Good eating options nearby. Also hotel is close to metro stations. Rooms are comfortable and the kitchen facility is handy; thought there is no hot plate or gas stove but only a microwave. So many pots and pans provided are not usable. The breakfast spread is great and food is awesome. It gives you a perfect start to your day in the morning.

The door to bathroom was broken. They mentioned full kitchen, but the stove was missing. We had to request a hot plate 5-6 times to get it. Rude lady at reception. The hotel staff wasted our one day of trip by not allocating us a room. We had already made calls to confirm that room was available, half an hour before arriving at hotel so that we could go elsewhere if room was not available. They made us wait 4-5 hours. Free Breakfast was good. Room service was not that good and it seemed as if they cleaned our room in a hurry. No body lotion provided in toiletries. Overall, it made me angry.

This is an excellent superb hotel! Very clean, no noise, just SUPERB! great location, at a great rate too! Rooms are decent size, enough for kids to even move around. Kitchenette is amazing with up to date things. It doesn't take long for me to like a hotel… just give me 1 day and I will give my view, no matter what the hotel does after, If the first day was horrible, the rest of other days will be miserable and this hotel has DELIVERED! THE BEST! in ONE DAY! I checked out today 5/29 and I could not wait to praise them. I even asked them for a place to write how good I felt about staying in the hotel with my two kids. From the moment, we walked in and checked in, all was easy and professional… to going into our room. No street noise whatsoever, we slept like babies… we ended up clogging the toilet and we called maintenance, he came in less than 2 min as if he was assigned to only my room! I love it! Problem was fixed quick. Breakfast was amazing, variety of things! Even my child said there is so much food, and I couldn't think of what to choose… we checked out and our belongings was put in storage by a very nice gentlemen too, very professional. Our car was brought to us, quick and professionally checking if my ticket number matched with the one the valet had. As I said, walking out I asked where can I comment about this SUPERB place? because I loved it… they would send me an email so I can give them a10 star if I have to! To all personnel!

The location is great and if you have an even number room, the views are great. I stayed here a, month for a business trip and would have expected better service to resolve my air conditioner problem. First night the air didn't work so maintenance had to fix it. After fixing it, worked great for 2.5 weeks and then it broke again. I asked on Thursday morning if my A. C. Could be fixed & was told yes. After a long day at the office I come back to a toasty warm room. It appeared as if no one came into my room. The maintenance guy came again & he told me a part would need to be ordered so I slept in another room Thursday night. A bit of inconvenience but at least o had a cool room. Friday morning I asked again if it could be fixed & was told yes. The manager even called & left me a message telling me it was being fixed & by the end of the workday I would come back to a nice cool room. Obviously I was lied to bc the A. C. Was still broken. I asked another manager if I could switch rooms. She said she could give me 30, 000 points & a fan bc they were booked up. Another lie from management. All of the sudden they had a room for me but I was told I needed to move right away. Very frustrated & tired I moved my month's worth of stuff right away so they could clean my old hot room. I'm sure they were going to put a guest in there with no A. C. I moved to my new room without a view with no assistance from hotel staff. After 3 trips I'm in my new room where the A. C. Barely works!

I stayed one night, at a great rate for NY, then booked a second night when I found out that I needed to stay for another day, and it turned out to be even better! Since I stayed for two nights, but didn't book the second night until later in the day, I had already checked out of the first room so I got to see a second room at the same hotel. It was exactly the same. Very clean. Great bed. Lots of power. Good shower. I was up 24 floors so it was quiet for NY. No desk chair, but a couple of stools which were not particularly good for sitting for a long time. I moved to the couch to work, but that was fine. Two windows was nice! Good view of City. Temperature was perfect. Good stay overall.

Great property! Right in the middle of the action with huge rooms for NYC at a great price. My only complaint was the elevators on my departure day, I was on the 16th floor and could not get an elevator to go back down to the lobby. 3 of them came but were jam packed full of people, after about 20 minutes of waiting I walked the stairs 16 flights down.

The staff their is wonderful. Damien at the front desk made sure our family experience for our stay was great! The breakfast are very yummy, and the security is subtle and great. The whole operation of the hotel is top notch! A very well run hotel.

Location is the biggest plus of this hotel. Times Square, Grand Central, Empire State, Rockefeller, New York public library, 5th Ave, are all within few blocks. There are many eateries nearby. All rooms are suites, but are relatively small. Kitchenette just has a microwave, dishwasher, dishes and some pots. Breakfast buffet is very good.

We love this hotel, always clean and very nice! The location is within walking to Times Square, Bryant Park, shopping and restaurants. However, the price can be expensive and parking rates are outrageous but the complimentary breakfast is the best, the beds are so comfortable and the service is top notch! We stay here at least twice a year!
