Amazing stay at a lovely hotel where the staff go above and beyond!
Excellent boutique hotel, fabulous roof top bar, friendly and professional staff and the manager Scott is the best! This will be my hotel of choice wherever I am in the city!
The Archer Hotel is a classy destination that will make your trip extra special. The staff goes above and beyond and offers unparalleled customer service. The rooms are beautiful, incredibly clean and so comfortable. Literally everything about our stay was amazing and unforgettable. Staying at the Archer has been the BEST hotel experience I have EVER had. ❤️
My recommendation is based more on one person going above and beyond as opposed to my overall opinion of the Hotel. We left a bag in the closet with expensive chocolates and a gift book. We contacted Michelle and we were told that stuff like that was thrown out. That could have been the end of it but she went to the same store that we had purchased everything and bought us the items we had left as well as a few extra and sent it to our home in Georgia. I think this is absolutely amazing and a great representation of Archer Hotel. Delores Duenas Buckland and I had a great stay for our Anniversary. Thank you.
This, by far, the best hotel we have stayed at with the attention to detail and great attitude of all the staff. Greeted by Scott on arrival and was so welcoming and it was as if they were really looking forward to our arrival. Gaby was absolutely delightful and so was Johnathon. Nothing too much trouble and they really do want to make your stay the best. Professional and courteous at all times but with a really warm and personal feel. Great location in midtown and will certainly look to stay again when we return to NYC.
Excellent hotel, first class attentions, very attentive and friendly staff, really if I return to Manhattan I would stay again at Archer Hotel, I recommend it. Many thanks to the staff of archer for their attention and kindness.
This place is awesome and the staff is wonderful!
Great experience. Incredible view of the Empire State Building from the roof top bar. Service was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back.
Fantastic hotel! Everytime I come to NYC I stay here and I come 3+ times per year. Great service, friendly & courteous staff, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, very quiet rooms, staff willing to go the extra mile for you, great location. I won't stay anywhere else. BTW … I use NYC Perfect Transportation for transfers to & from the airports and they are excellent. Highly recommend.
Clean and quiet. Great location. No nosey questions concerning by date's apparel.
Just came here for a little staycation. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Clean, friendly and inviting concierge. The salted caramels and chocolate covered fortune cookies are the cutest and thoughtful touch. Amenities are fabulous. Crazy comfortable bed. Unique phone that's also a radio and alarm clock. Free slippers. I just loved it all and highly recommend The Archer hotel for anyone in need of a stay!
I had the best experience at this hotel! Evan was the most attentive, friendly, thoughtful, & helpful concierge! Then there was Sal, he was so amazing & friendly! They made sure we were comfortable & made sure we received our turn down treats every night. They were so very friendly & made us feel like we were at home. I highly recommend every single thing about this place! We will be back! Thankyou Evan & Sal❤️
Great Staff. Really enjoyed our stay at the Archer.
The hotel was excellent. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. The room with accessible shower was excellent for my daughters needs. Great for someone in a manual chair that needs assistance to move around. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Location was excellent as well.
I had a great time, excellent service, beautiful room, and a great view of the Empire State Building.
The sight of the Empire State bldg is pretty cool and it is centrally located. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
Amazing staff, food and drinks!
Fantastic staff! Fantastic stay! Great view!
Great experience! I brought my husband there for a special birthday stay. Hotel was super accommodating with early check in and late check out. When we got to our lovely room, there was a birthday card and cupcake waiting for my husband. What a lovely surprise!
Wonderful hotel with an amazing restaurant and awesome views from rooftop bar!
Amazing place y'all can't wait to see the observation deck.
We had the best time here. Treats every night, kind staff members, amazing rooftop bar. All around amazing! Best experience I’ve had at a hotel.
For our first time ever to New York City, Archer was awesome. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The bar in the lobby was amazing with great drinks and food as well as a wonderful on site steak house. Can’t wait to stay here again!
Spy Lounge rooftop bar has an incredible view and the food is terrific. Upscale hotel in the heart of the city. Stayed twice now and will be back, staff is always friendly. Rooms are standard NY, compact size, but nicely done and appointed.
Had drinks at the rooftop bar, wonderful view of the Empire State Building. Staff was wonderful. Drinks were good. Didn't eat but the food looked good. Would go back!
Amazing hotel. Food excellent, staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms cleaned twice daily. Location is excellent for Times Square and theatres. Definitely where I would come back to.
Great hotel, located in mid town and ideally placed for getting around. They also have a rooftop bar with a gorgeous view of the Empire State Building-however you will pay the price with the drinks menu. Lovely rooms, although small, well cleaned and equipped and a good restaurant downstairs should you not want to venture far. No gym in the hotel, however its only a block away which is complimentary with your stay should you want to work out. Like all Hotels in NY, you wont exactly get a beautiful view out the window (more like office next door). I stay here a lot for work as its close to my offices, I prob wouldn't pay the price if I was coming for pleasure though.
Had such a relaxing weekend at the Archer Hotel. Room was nice, staff was friendly, and the service was impeccable. Will be back again!
Tiny but very comfortable room. Great service all around, very attentive. Roof top bar a bit on the pricy side, I would pop up and take a look at the view but drink elsewhere plenty of bars closeby.
Stayed here over a weekend and really loved it. The location is great — just south of Times Square, so easy walking distance to there, the Empire State, Rockefeller tower, Grand Central, even Central Park is an easy walk away. The rooms themselves are not big, but they are definitely good, and the bathroom is great. The rooftop bar has good views, and the bar prices (lobby and rooftop) are pretty standard for New York. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the food looked good. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a great hotel, and 1 I would definitely return to.
Hotel in a very convenient and central location.
From the bar, on the twenty-second floor, you can enjoy a wonderful view.
The staff are helpful and competent.
Excellent cleanliness in the rooms, which enjoy many comforts.
Mind-boggling. Care 10 points and the rooms fantastic.
Super nice service, room perfect.
Good location. Clean and updated. Love the decor. Rooms are small for the price. Our room wasn’t ready at 3 but they accommodated us with the same room but higher floor. Always friendly staff. The car valet was good too. Expensive but good!
Superb city hotel, great staff, great rooms, great food, great beer, what more could you need. The level of service is 5* from the moment you check in right through to check out. Oh and I didn't mention the Sky Bar, an awesome setting with fantastic view.
Good hotel and very well located with views of the empire, the best bed.
Great central location for visiting all of Manhattan. High quality room facilities, including a Nespresso machine. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up getting a Nespresso machine when we got home! Great view of Empire State Building from the roof top bar. High class restaurant.
We're here now and are very unhappy with the Archer. Complete let down. Asked before booking for hypoallergenic bedding as have severe allergy to feathers and was told all bedding is and a note wpuld be made. Got here and couldn't sleep and so ill put it down to jet lag and the new climate but this morning eyes swollen and stuck together headache and asthma so bad and opened zip pillow case to have load feathers fall out. Complained at reception notes were on booking and not sure why hadnt been done but told it would be immediately rectified and Scott the manager assured us he'd walk thro room check it at 10am. Stayed out until after 5pm but feeling so ill came back to lay down get inhaler to find the maid just starting to do the room. Had to sit in reception for nearly and hr waiting to get to our room and spend yet another night in bed ill. Missed out on Phantom of the Opera last night and holidays been ruined after saving so hard for it. Room still has feathers on floor as not hoovered so son picked most of them up he so worried. So let down by standard and service and all this aside still wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. Its small overpriced and not overly impressive at all.
The Spyglass Rooftop Bar was great! It probably fits about 20 people inside, so it was nice and quiet. The drinks were tasty and the bartenders were friendly. Oh, and the view was stellar!
This is a great boutique Hotel centrally and conveniently located. The rooms are small, but modern and beautifully decorated. The service is great and the food at the restaurant is amazing; we tried a mushroom risotto paired with an Italian wine recommended by the sommelier. It also has an awesome view of the Empire State Building.
Tiny room while with good services & at great location. It is walking distance from hotel to time square & the 5th Ave. Is also just at the corner while the room is really small like the smallest I have ever stayed in US. There are lots of little notes & you can purchase the book at the hotel if you would like. There is space left at the room fridge for you which is quite thoughtful. There are slippers at the room for your usage & they are quite Q. The concierge is great while we arrived while no one help for the luggage while we left that was the only part a bit disappointed for the services, in general, the services at the hotel are great.
I stayed for just one night at the Archer to celebrate my Mom's 71st birthday with a weekend in the city. The Archer was a gem and I can't wait to return with my family. The staff were friendly, helpful, and absolutely on top of their game — from the bellman to reception — even security at the rooftop bar was friendly and nice to talk to! The room was well outfitted and there were many special touches — little notes accompanied fresh cookies, special books chosen by the hotel staff, and candies in the room at check-in all made you feel truly welcome. We stay several times a year in NYC and the Archer is really a special place. The entire hotel was well kept, clean, and beautiful in design. The rooftop bar was small but inviting and the view of the Empire State was breathtaking. The location could not be beat — steps from Bryant Park, a few blocks from the Times Square area and a 15 min walk to Saks on 5th/Rockefeller Center. I wish we'd had time to try Charlie Palmer Steak — but we'll save that for next time!
Great Hotel to stay in very good place and great service.
Ideally located hotel, very clean room, the view is superb from our room on the Empire States building. Very attentive staff. Very clean room and very welcoming staff will come back without hesitation. Room number 1906 on 03/01/2018 only black dot lack of storage for a quad room.
Great location, the rooftop bar has amazing views of the empire state building, brunch very good value in nice setting. My only niggle is the size of the rooms but I'm still giving this hotel five stars because it deserves it. Bed time treats left on the evening turn down add to the experience. Would stay again!
Lovely hotel, great views of the Empire State building and friendly and welcoming staff. The toiletries were great, room and bathroom was clean, well presented and in excellent condition. I would have given it a 5 except the room was smaller than expected and there was noise from the lift.
Wife and are here for New Years Celebrations. Rooms are “intimate” but very cozy. Service is excellent. Beds are awesome! Definitely recommend.
Nice hotel, well located between the 5th and 6th all accessible on foot, quiet. The rooftop with the bar and the view of the Empire State building is priceless. The staff is attentive, every night we receive a gentle attention by the room service of the New Yorkers. Hotel not cheap but it is worth its 4 stars and the bathroom is big and fashion.
Great Hotel. High Cost but justified. Beautiful Rooms and quality services. Close to the center (from here it is easy to get for example in Times Square). Very Nice also the rooftop terrace with the bar from where you can see the Empire State Building. To Come back!
I had the opportunity to know him nothing more to be premiered for three and half years and from the first moment there defraudo at all, rather the contrary. Has a very good location and service, rooms incredibly comfortable, the views more than interesting with special emphasis on the rooftop bar! The truth is that it is highly recommended and I would repeat without a doubt.
I loved this hotel. Its location to the attention of the staff. The room the view the restaurant the terrace. Excellent.
Hotel exquisite in New York city centre. Very well taken care of. And I highlight not to miss the restaurant on the ground floor. All absolutely cute.
Very nice experience. Cleanliness and availability are the 2 big highlights of the hotel.
The position is perfect!
Beautiful midtown boutique hotel. Cozy rooms, fastidiously clean, amazing staff that feels like family, only really cool family. Lovely traditional in-house steak restaurant.
Good central location. Easy walk to Bryant Park subway, Times Square, Grand Central. Comfortable rooms and great roof bar.
Prompt check-in, welcoming staff, excellent turn down in room (twice a day! ) which includes complimentary treats! Would definitely stay here again, thanks Archer!
Although the rooms are not the biggest, and maybe getting a little old, service was always great and the place looks very well. Bottom line, great value for money.
Excellent attention especially Jacob thanks x your excellent attention I love the Spyglas!
Not sure why it got an award… room is dark and small. Service is good but not outstanding. I hear noises from the elevator and other doors closing. A lot of people complimented the mattress and yeah it's super comfy, but that's about the only exceptionally good thing about it. A bit overrated and overpriced.
I loved the location. Everything was walking distance. The staff members were nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and bed/pillows were super comfortable. I seriously felt like I was in a mini apartment, and not so much a hotel room. Definitely gives you that NY experience. I also liked that every night "Archer" would leave you a card and a tasty little treat from local candy stores or bakeries. When it rains they leave umbrellas out for their guests to borrow, and thought it was an awesome gesture.
Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Great view of the Empire State Building from the 21st floor. Rooms are very small but scream quality and have a modern aesthetic. Best hotel stay I've had in New York City.
"Intimate rooms" = small rooms. But they are comfortable and well appointed. Comfy bed and a nice bathroom. What more do you need in NYC? You don't come to this city to stay in your room!
Beautiful hotel, well located, very well catered, terrace with an excellent view of the Empire State.
A very nice hotel in downtown new York, between fifth and Sixth Avenue. Nearby points of interest also include Times Square, Empire State, Rockefeller Center, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 22-floor terrace bar has spectacular views of the Empire State. To repeat.
מלון מצויין. מפנק, שירות טוב מאוד. מיקום מעולה. Been there 3 nights with friends. A very good service from all of the stuff. Nicely designed rooms, cleen and very convenient. Top roof pub with a very nice view. Little bottles of water are given for free, when ever you ask for. You can Also get free umbrellas when it's rain. Hotel location is Excellent. Close to metro and to all major city major attractions, by foot. I definitely will come back on my next one in NYC.
I got theatre tickets for my husband’s birthday and wanted to plan a great extended long weekend in NYC
I spent a lot of time researching hotels in NYC, location, price etc.
I narrowed it down to my top 3 and finally choosing The Archer Hotel.
… Before I we even checked in I contacted the hotel to see what their process was for having a bottle of champagne waiting in the room for when we arrived.
They were so great on not only providing the champagne but a little mini chocolate cake with a card. So far so good.
Location:
Excellent! Walking distance to theatre without being right in all the madness of Times Square.
Room:
• Nice touch of complementary water (2 bottles) and caramel candy when you arrive in your room.
• Most reviews noted how small the rooms were. They are right, the rooms are tiny but 2 of us were able to work it out. Not really a lot of space to place your clothes. The nightstand had drawers but they are very small. There is place to hang clothes and storage under the bed for your luggage.
• The room was very clean and loved the high ceilings and one exposed brick wall
• The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean and very modern looking
• Turn down service nightly with a different treat left for you each night.
• Our room had an almost perfect view of The Empire State Building.
Very clean, updated room with an amazing bathroom. All staff members were extremely accommodating. Easy check in and check out. Spyglass is also a plus. Great location, walking distance to just about everything. I will definitely be staying here again.
I loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room The view the restaurant the terrace. Excellent.
My visit was very nice. The view of the Empire State Building was amazing.
Excellent hotel to enjoy Manhattan. The location is perfect, close to Bryant Park. The room has the necessary space and cleaned twice a day. The treatment on the part of the hotel is very good, always outstanding that you are happy. It features a trendy restaurant and the best thing is the terrace of the hotel on the 22nd floor, where guests can enjoy a cocktail watching the Empire State.
Loved it! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is so kind and helpful! Can't wait to return to the Archer NYC!
Upon arrival to the moment we checked out, everything about Archer hotel has been a wonderful experience. All staff were extremely polite and professional. They exceeded my expectations in all possible ways. I have been telling everyone I know aboit my experience and highly suggest Archer Hotel for whenever anyone visits Manhattan. It's perfectly located in a safe and central area, close to so many points of interests and the subway. This trip was a 21st birthday gift to my goddaughter and everything was perfect in her eyes, including the hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Archer New York. From the amazingly comfortable bed and pillows to the friendly service. We needed a few special items, like a sewing kit, and they were at our door within minutes of the request. The turn down service treats and staff were lovely. The location was excellent. Our only criticism would be the size of the room as it was tiny. For a couple it was fine but anyone with a lot of baggage would be hard pressed to find space. We would stay again.
Excellent hotel, location, staff and service. Very nice, clean room with views as advertised. It was a little noisey from early in the morning (6am) with drilling outside the hotel, but overall our stay was very nice and we would recommend the hotel to others. Thank you very much.
Fantastic hotel. The staff are very attentive and courteous and The Spyglass Roof Top Bar with it's stunning view of The Empire State Building is sublime, indeed our room had the same view which is amazing to wake up to. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Well located, stylish, friendly. Would definitely stay here again. The only two disappointments were 1) the size of the room (or rather, lack thereof) : Reception calls them "intimately sized", I call them tiny. At a minimum, you should be able to open a suitcase without needing to place it on the bed. 2) the ridiculous cost of breakfast items. However, given this is NY, you just walk 2 blocks down the street and enjoy breakfast at Culture Coffee instead.
The Archer Hotel made us feel welcome from the first minute. Their attention to detail goes above and beyond what was expected with local treats every evening (we especially loved the sugar cookies) and a special birthday cake with a bottle of bubbly. The room itself was extremely comfortable with perfect views of the Empire State Building. The rooftop bar had delicious mixed drinks that were on par with the view and the restaurant made a delicious breakfast. The staff was very helpful and we really couldn't ask for more! A top notch boutique hotel!
Greeted us very welcome, the interior is beautiful, the room is clean and comfortable, restaurant and bar — very tasty and cozy) very convenient location!
My friends and I were in the city for an annual "girls weekend" and had a wonderful experience at The Archer Hotel. The staff was just super attentive and made us feel like VIPs the entire stay. There were a lot of nice touches in the room and the accommodations were quite nice. The rooftop bar — Spyglass — was great and the views of the Empire State Building were amazing! Great location for everything we wanted to do while we were in town. Next time I am in NYC, I know right where I'm heading — I'll definitely go back to The Archer!
The stay at the hotel was very nice, very kind and efficient staff both at reception and in the bar or the cleaning staff. The decoration of the hotel also liked. The perfect location. In my next few trips to Ny I think back.
A very nice and conveniently located hotel in Manhattan. Rooms are small, but cozy and brilliantly designed given the space constraints. All of that is forgotten with the size of the bathrooms. The showers are heavenly and will quickly refresh you after a day in the city. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Great value and experience!
Had a "girls weekend" in NYC and stayed at the Archer on 38th Street. What a nice hotel! The staff was courteous and caring and they went out of their way to be helpful, from the valet and the check in staff, to the lovely woman who did the evening turn-down service. Our room had a view of the Empire State Building and was clean and comfortable. Nice decor, bathroom was great. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was supposed to meet friends who cancelled at the last minute but everyone made me feel very welcome. The rooftop bar is a real gem, the lobby restaurant and bar are very nice. Good location, walk-able to Penn Station and theaters.
Super cool hotel, great location to walk to MSG, Grand Central, Times Square. Room was clean and bathroom was great. A quiet hotel except for the a/c unit in the room, that was a little loud but after falling asleep I got use to it. Each night they left treats from the kitchen, a nice touch. I would stay again and recommend. The staff was great too, we needed ice and extra pillows and they brought right up, no wait like larger hotels.
I first stayed at the Archer at the recommendation of a co-worker versus another hotel nearby that we have a corporate rate at. I will never stay anywhere else while visiting the City. Visiting New York City can be very exciting, but stressful! And picking the wrong hotel can make or break your trip. As far as the hotel, you can see the central location, how chic and modern it is on the website and photos, plus, the restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's nice to have a yummy option so convenient. All that said, I'll take this time to speak about the best part of the Archer, you don't find on travel sites. The staff at the Archer are so genuinely nice and helpful, they are one of the main reason I come back each time! They kind of make me feel like a celebrity during each stay! During my last stay, I knew I would be out into the morning working, and they made no issue of giving me a late checkout to accommodate my needs. Another stay, last minute, I needed to print some documents for a meeting, they jumped right on it! Regardless of how much time I give myself to get to meetings, eat, leave for the airport, I always seem to be running late in NYC, and the staff at the Archer has my back.
My stay at Archer was a wonderful experience! The service was impeccable, the facility was clean, and the food was delectable. Order-in breakfast was served slightly earlier than called for, but it was a delicious and healthy portion. Sweet treats were left in the room every evening; the Chocolates by Gary were the best! Cute hotel slippers! Comfortable bed, shower and robe. Bathroom has adequate space and lighting for a gal's makeup. Hats off to staff! Even social media responses were on point! Thank you!
We stayed in a deluxe room with a view of the Empire State Building, which was too small for two people without both suitcases stowed under the bed. The service was horrible! Our room didn't get cleaned for 2 out of the 8 days we stayed because we left around 10:30am and the cleaning lady came earlier and didn't bother coming back after we left. No one offered to help me with my bags when my car arrived both coming and going and there were easily 4 people behind the front desk each time — all very friendly and smiling. I called to have my boots shined and no one was sent up to get them. They just sat outside my room all night. Our billing was messed up and still hasn't been fixed. The one positive was a gentleman behind the front desk helped me to print some work documents and was very helpful! I'm easy to please and hate saying bad things, but I don't seem value in this hotel and will discourage friends from staying here.
From the moment we walked through the door, I knew I had chosen well. We wanted a romantic getaway and your hotel was perfect. I had heard the rooms were small but they were very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was a dream, as was the shower. Who wouldn't love Nespresso in the morning? We have actually purchased one since we've been home we loved it so much. The central location was perfect and the vibe was chic but relaxed. We were very comfortable. The staff were among the best I have ever met, and I have travelled extensively. I will highly recommend your hotel and we will be back again, first chance we get!
I loved everything about this hotel but what really made it standout was the staff. From front desk staff to the person that escorted us to our room to the bartender at the rooftop bar, we were provided exceptional service. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly without being solicitous. And of course the room was very well appointed! We loved the robes, toiletries and Nepresso machine.
We had a delightful stay and were consistently greeted and accommodated by the hotel's staff. The room was well appointed, comfortable and efficient, though we could have used a bit more storage space for a four night stay. The location of the hotel is ideal — within walking distance to so many attractions, but on a relatively quiet street. A wonderfully memorable adventure during the blizzard of 2016!
Very central. Modern and exclusive. Excellent cleaning two times a day. Give it 5 stars.
Excellent hotel and location. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was on the small side but the hotel is very conveniently located in midtown so everything is within close walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!
An awesome hotel in a perfect location. You're just far enough from all the noise and crowds, but close enough to walk to all the main sights. The rooms are slightly small, but very well designed and furnished to feel cosy rather than cramped. The daily turn down service is a nice touch and staff are very helpful and accommodating.
We just had the opportunity to stay at Archer NYC for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary in late October. We couldn't have been more pleased with the staff, the hotel, and the service. This stunningly beautiful hotel is in the perfect location to get around the city and has a ton to do. From the delicious restaurant and craft bar in the lobby to the rooftop bar with views of the Empire State building you will be set for your stay. 5th avenue is only steps away and you are in walking distance to many of the best sights and shopping that NYC has to offer. I cant wait for the Austin, Texas location to open so we can go check that one out. 5+ stars. Do yourself a favor and stay at Archer!
What can I say?! This place is awesome! Just left the hotel and I miss it already. Out of all the things in NY, the best part of my trip was the hotel stay. Great customer service! They care about their customers and I can tell they also care about each other as a team. Very professional. My hubby agrees & he said when we come back this is the only hotel we are staying at. The rooms are clean & decent size. They are your personal tour guide as well.
I stayed during the US Open finals weekend. Wow! what an amazing experience and beautiful hotel to have R&R time. There is nothing like having dinner on the roof top and viewing the Empire State building just across the way all lite up in red, white and blue. I truly felt like royalty from the moment I arrived until the time I left. The staff were awesome and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting at anytime. Special thanks to Evan and Paul.
The Archer is now my "home address" in New York Spitzenmäßiger Service, courteous, friendly staff, Central location. Everything "Squeaky clean" in Short: 1A.
It's expensive for what it is, and a bit up itself. My room was q tiny and the roof top bar is extortionate, but has an exquisite view of the empire state building at night.
Wow! What an amazing staff, exquisite customer service! My Fiance and I stayed at the Archer this past weekend for our trip to NY for our engagement shoot. We got to NY a little early, before check-in time, and the staff was accommodating to us and held our bags until our room was ready, much earlier than check-in time! We had breakfast at their restaurant and was one of the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had! The room was clean, and the complimentary water and sweets were a nice touch. However, what made our stay so amazing was that the staff were so accommodating to our needs for our engagement shoot they allowed us to check-out a little later in order to change and be ready for our shoot, they allowed us to take pictures at the beautiful roof-top bar and didn't get any attitude or complaints for the million times I asked them to pull our stuff from the storage because we had to change or grab things for our shoot around the city. A special thank you to Madeline who really made us feel at home and wanted to make sure this special day went perfect for us. Thank you Archer Hotel! Cannot wait to come back and see you all again.
Great rooms, great service and a great location. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing. I couldn't fault the experience at all. Hopefully I'll be back.
Perfect location for a trip to NYC. Love the view and the staff is super friendly.
Small rooms that fit everything you need. Fresh, modern rooms that feel like you're the first to stay in them. Beds are firm but extremely comfortable, everything is in new condition. Everything from the lobby to rooms to bathrooms screams "modern. ".
A great surprise. Terrific service, good food, a quiet room and a very comfortable bed. Definitely coming back.
Walked in for brunch at David Burke's fabrick restaurant, Excellent experience. Modern latin fusion cuisine made with heart, character and controlled flavor. Chef is friendly and attentive.
I haven't traveled to New York a lot — so I was surprised at the small size of the room; however, something tells me that is typical. I really enjoyed my stay at Archer Hotel. The service was fantastic and the restaurant downstairs was wonderful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Imagine pulling up to a busy hotel in NYC to Valet your car and having the staff recognize you as if you had just been at the hotel the day before. If you plan to stay at the Archer the hotel more than once — the staff will greet you the same way. I have been in the travel industry for 18 years and I have never experienced this level of personalized service at any hotel. I recently ventured back into the city for some business and to attend the Archer Hotel grand opening event. While visiting I wanted to try the David Burke Fabrick restaurant and the Buggatti bar and I was able to do both. My room was slightly larger than my first stay at the hotel, but honestly room size doesn't matter too much to me as I'd rather not hang out in my room while in New York City. Like my first review states the beds are heavenly, the furnishings are classic and this time I was able to take advantage of the in room fully stocked N'espresso maker. My AC system was perfect — thanks to 'Yo Joe' — another awesome staff member at the hotel. If you do not have a chance to stay at the Archer Hotel New York –at least stop by and dine there. The David Burke Fabrick restaurant is amazing for both breakfast and dinner. I was privy to eat breakfast here twice (no lunch). One day I went the super healthy route with the Egg White Omelet and then the next day I chose the Classic Benedict, which was more than classic — both were delicious. Friday night I decided to eat at the Buggatti bar.
