Definitely in the heart of NYC and close to Times Square. We are hear between Xmas And New Year. It's great vibe ane really quiet once you're inside. Close to lots of cafes and shops. The two-bedroom apartment was clean and well appointed with a nice kitchen.

Very nice apartment hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We even gave up our postcards for free. The apartment was clean and large, very well furnished, nothing was defective, at the top there is even a rooftop, free coffee for breakfast. A PC with free internet. Wifi Free everywhere very good reception. We really felt very comfortable here. Priced 1A. No street noise audible!

Staff were polite and helpful. The room was spacious, well maintained, and very comfortable. The location is awesome, only a 5 minutes walk to 2 subway stations and a couple of minutes to the heart of Times Square. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we travel to NYC again.

Best place to enjoy times square, only few blocks away from madam tussaud, hard rock cafe, halal food everywhere, must try deli cafe breakfast only two minutes away walking from hotel apartement AKA.

Great rooms and service. Food was alright, I asked for my burger medium rare and it came back we'll done. But other than that very clean and caring staff and in the heart of the city.

Beautiful apartment style suites with full kitchens. Classy & hip right in Times Square, who woulda thought? I had a great staycation here. Love AKA!

Wonderful hotel, excellent staff. They emailed me a grocery list before I left home, so I could have food and wine waiting in the kitchen. Loved every minute of my stay, excellent location, next door to one of my favourite restaurants, Une, Deux, Trois.

A great apartment hotel in the heart of New York city next door to Times Square. Large rooms and inexpensive price. Conveniently, there is a kitchen in the room, you can cook yourself. Good comfortable bed, great cleaning and cozy. Recommend.

VERY comfortable, so close to Times Square you can almost touch it without getting out of bed. Exceptional quality and amenity, and as far as NY goes, not really that expensive.

A typically french styled eatery in the middle of all the madness, beautifully decorated and serving good old fashioned down to earth food at not too expensive prices.

Great location and plenty of space in the rooms, they are apartments. Highly recommended for business travelers who will be running around the city all day and want to come back and have space to work and relax.

I did not feel relaxed in this hotel. I felt like something bad going to happen because of the bad street neighborhood. Also they make me pay 500 USD for a water leak which was not my fault. It was because of the bad drainage system they have. And again when I checked out they withdrew 83 USD from my visa without telling me, when I asked them why at the front desk the employee said that he doesn't know why!

Absolutely wonderful! The staff was great, and very personable. Love how close it is to times square and the fact that they have suites with kitchens! Not to mention the shower in the bathroom felt like a mini spa! Definitely worth another stay!

We were there for 7 days, first time in NYC, situated No more than 100mts from Time Square on 44th St ideal for site seeing.
The self contained 1 bedroom apartment catered for all our needs. We had a generous kitchen, laundry facility and enormous bedroom. The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. We would recommend it!

I couldn't have picked a better hotel for my wife and I to spend our anniversary in NYC. The location is perfect; walking distance from most everything. The AKA staff were THE best I've experienced. There was not 1 time that I entered or left that I wasn't greeted or departed by at least one of the staff; just a nice feeling. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We had an outstanding 7 night stay in New York in February 2017 and the AKA Times Square (which a friend recommended) was without doubt a contributor to that experience. The staff were fantastic. The location was great and the accommodation (deluxe studio with study) was exceeded our expectations. We prefer staying in apartment style hotels as they better suit our needs. Our rooms were located on the 10th floor facing onto 44th Street and I must say that we immediately felt right at home. The rooms were generous for a studio and the extra study room was a bonus. We had a relative stay with us and were able to put them up very comfortably in the study. The kitchen was great complete with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a new flagship Wholefoods complex just around the corner opposite Bryant Park we got to dine in as well as out. The king size bed was probably one of the best I have slept on. The bathroom was generous. There were plenty of cupboards and drawers etc to put away our clothes and store our luggage (and shopping! ) etc. There was a clothes washing machine and dryer in one of the cupboards — a great convenience. There is a guest lounge on the top floor as well as an outdoor roof deck area and also a small but comprehensive gym which one of my kids used frequently and got a good workout. The location is great and we could get to just about anywhere via the various subway lines that are well located nearby the hotel.

Such a great place to stay. 1/2 block off Times Square. Away from the noise. The staff is so friendly and personalable. Very helpful. Nice units. Very modern. Sparse. They could use another bedside table in the bedroom. Also, could use more counter space like in the bathroom. It's a pedestal sink with NO counter space. Girls need a place for their makeup. I made a makeshift counter over the sink with the cutting board (glass) from the full kitchen. I'd like to see coat hooks too. One of the elevators was out of service while we were there and I don't see that changing anytime soon. They are building in another floor. No service elevator so you share it with staff. Will stay here again. Overall it's great. Oh. And unit has a washer/dryer which is a real plus for us girls. Didn't need to pack as much.

The staff is always helpful and willinging to go through extra mile to make you happy. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and in good taste. Thoroughly modern but feels like home.

Amazing location, located a block from Times Square and 3 blocks from the subway and Bryant Park. The contemporary studios with large bedroom, wood floors, kitchens with high-end appliances, free Wi-Fi, and washers and dryers. Stayed at room 907 during the new year’s eve and we could see the famous ball drop from the comfort of our room where the outside temperature was around 1 °C.

It's right next to Times Square that is always buzzing with people, but the place doesn't have a very good ambience. Lack of natural light in most of the rooms makes the place a bit gloomy!

The most perfect way of staying in New York with a family when you need the flexibility that a hotel cannot offer. They were very happy to make up an extra bed for our family of 5 and the second bedroom had space for all three beds. Spacious and spotlessly clean kitchen/dining/living area. Teeny, tiny bathroom (shower only) but that was a minor detail. Location is simply perfect, just off times square. The staff were unfailingly friendly and full of ideas of places to go. Only drawbacks were the steep fare we were charged by the car that they booked for us from JFK to AKA $170 and the room we had was pretty noisy. Not city noise, but constant generator noise. Luckily I had been given ear plugs on the flight. I would definitely use AKA Times Square again for anything from a girlie weekend of shopping to a full on family holiday.

Clean spacious room. Few things needed doing which they were happy to do. Good place.

Cleaning once a week, up to 12 free coffee, shampoo-SOAP to 1, though tell that the three in the room cold, permanently enabled Windows Conder 4 pieces in 2-bedrumnom room, all go on the wall, the room is dark. No dry cleaning, no water, no shelves where to put their shampoo, no brush,
. One towel in the bathroom and nothing to dry after the shower it wet and not replaced. I put 5 per location, and the staff and so 2. Not worth 245 thousand.

I knew I could just look on my phone, Google what I need to know, and be on my way without having to interact with the staff at the front desk. However I took a leap of faith and interfaced with Michael, at the front, about the best place to purchase pizza, and for the nearest drug store. Michael's wax-on-wax-off approach to customer service renewed my faith in the human race and its ability to communicate in person. Some AKA staff come to make a difference, and some come to make a statement. Whatever flavor, you will leave this sanctuary of kindness a better and more wholesome human being.

For Broadway and Bryant Park area it's the best. Comfortable extended stay.

Loved it. Virgils bar is just across the street and is amazing and most major attractions are nearby.

The AKA hotel around the corner of times square is an apartment. Central, you can hardly stay. We had a 1 BR apartment. This means one bedroom with living room, kitchen. We booked for 10 days for 315 US$ / day, with taxes, which comes to nearly $370 per night.
We asked for a _ruhiges_ room on a high floor. We got the room right above the entrance. The Windows are sensational. You are schallun isolated 0%. It is as if you are on the road. And the corner is not without! Here, noise is 20 hours a day. Especially at night, the delivery trucks are active, of course with diesel engine. But also road construction is done at night like. Our bedroom was far back at a "waist". Now like a "light" slot on the 11th floor, in the 2nd floor it is just day and night duster. Unfortunately the Bay used by smokers as Ascher, although the hotel is 100% non-smoking. I wonder how you get the window open.
All Windows have blinds that can be adjusted, but not pull up. And they were all almost blind, so dirty.
The second day was informed us that the gym was closed. We could run but in the sister hotel, 20 minutes away.
Because 10 days had booked, we were entitled to 2 cleanings. You were conveniently made two days after arrival and 2 days prior to departure. But not in the middle. The hotel decides when is cleaned. After the cleaning, we had no towels. The hotel had no more on demand.

A bit noisy (on the third floor) kept getting woken up by garbage trucks and people singing xmas songs. Blackout curtains would be a great addition-for both the light and the sound. Much quieter in the penthouse. Great service, I look forward to coming here again.

Convenient location (within one minute to time square) and equipped with all the necessary kithenware and utensils. I and my husband stayed in AKA Time Square the end of Aug. 2010 and had a great time there. The staff provided us necessary information about nearby supermarket, Broadway shows. To help us planed the journey. During our stay, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be glad to utilize this hotel next time when we visit NY.

I found a great deal for this hotel and it was a great location so I thought I'd try it. Wow! This place really went above and beyond anything I expected! The service and quality were superb and the accommodations were unlike any other hotel in NY. Spacious rooms, full size kitchen, free internet in rooms and use of business center. They even have 2 bottles of water waiting for you in the refrigerator when you get there — free of charge.
