Great experience with the employees and the bar is wonderful!

Great location with vintage and great artwork, away from Times Square.

Staff was very nice and helpful — but the place needs a GUT! Hallways are very dirty (some construction going on) Our bathroom reminded me of a college dorm bathroom — yuck! I bought flip flops to wear in the bathroom and shower. Bar doesn't open until 5 — the other restaurants shown on the website are not associated with hotel. If you are looking for a hotel to come back and relax in — this is not for you. It served its purpose for us — but we will not be back.

I can’t say enough about this place! The staff was extremely friendly and the location cannot be beat! I was worried about not having a refrigerator in the room but ask and you shall receive! The terrace gave me a beautiful view of the river! Eight days was not long enough!

My “upgraded” room (which I paid for) was the size of a postage stamp. Not at all what was pictured on website. Manager would not even come out to front desk to talk to me. Apparently they gave me the reject room.

Great location. Easy access to public transportation, restaurants, museums, and Central Park.

Really wonderful hotel bar! My friends are staying there this week & they’ve been pleased with their choice!

Very nice boutique hotel to stay at while visiting our kids on the upper west side. Great location and a Friendly staff. Prompt response to any questions asked of customer service. The hotel is following NYC Covid regulations. Easy subway access too.

Retro sleek ambiance of this hotel was right up my alley — my 1st visit to NYC! A Magnificent hotel & the Staff was so SUPER accommodating! I’ll absolutely stay here next trip!

Horrible experience! First visit here and my last! Arrived at 12pm asked if my room was ready early, no the previous guest checked out at 11am and still being cleaned. Please take a seat in the lobby, it should only be a few minutes. 2 hours later I went to eat lunch. At 3:15pm returned. Room not ready because the previous guest “just” checked out less than an hour ago. It should only be a few more minutes. Was it a lie at 12pm or at 3:15pm? Was it a surprise late check out? Was it’s a guest hijacking the guest room? Zero competence.

Awesome loved it will come again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Very quiet studio room (15th floor in the new building on top of the hotel) although not very isolated towards the hallways. Great view on the west side. Supercomfy bed. Lots of storage place. Also lots of shelves in the bathroom. Great shower. Friendly staff. Prompt room service every day. Lively and cosy lobby/bar area with artists performing several nights a week. Two bottles of water in room every day. Keurig coffe and tea capsules as well. Be aware if your included breakfast is at Patis or Serafina. Huge difference. Also beware if Urban Fee of 40 dollars per day () for Wi-Fi/gym is included in your booking. Got the room on winter sale. Very good value with that price. Nice neighbourhood with sub, park, Food shops, restaurants nearby. Line 1, 2 connects you to downtown Manhattan within minutes. Btw. Brick walls aren’t real, just wallpaper ☺️
The balcony door is drafty and it is difficult heating up the room. Chilly. The aircondition was quiet and modern. Very nice with coplimentary drinks at the bar.

The Bed is so comfortable. So many amenities in room! Front desk is beyond welcoming. Clean.

Loved our stay here! The room was spacious, clean, and updated with beautiful views of the street and buildings. The overall feel of the building and atmosphere was just as you would imagine it to be by looking at their website. We enjoyed coming back to the quiet neighborhood after a day of chaotic sightseeing. May favorite surprises were how close it was to a subway stop and that it right across from a CVS, which was super convenient when we realized we’d forgotten to pick a few things. Definitely would recommend. My only tiny critique would be that it is near a fire station, so we heard the sirens a few times during our stay. Just a heads up to you light sleepers out there.

Cute, clean, quiet hotel with a cool lobby/lounge/bar. Rooms were a perfect size and beds were really comfy. Away from the crazy tourist vibe of Times Square. Would definitely stay here again.

Me and my girlfriend went to the Comedy Show in this beautiful hotel we were blown away of how it looked. Even the Concierge Desk had a different style like drawer red desk that was totally unique. We were welcome to friendly people. We had an awesome time and would be back to visit. 1❤Ms. Quay.

Our visit started with a great front desk reception experience. Ramona was funny, helpful and immediately made us feel welcomed. Our room was ready hours before check-in and we were able to get situated with time to rest before our activities began. The room was clean and nicely made up. The lobby has a great atmosphere.

This place was wonderful! The atmosphere downstairs was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was immaculate and amazing! The location is perfect, very close to a subway stop and the neighborhood really quieted down later in the evening (perfect for my family that isn’t used to the crowd of people in lower Manhattan! ). When you get that email asking if you would like to go on estandby for upgrade/add-on, DO IT! We had a deluxe double double booked, but we opted in for all of the upgrade/add-on options, and we ended up with an incredible huge room and a beautiful amazing huge balcony on the top (16th) floor for only $35 more a night (the high floor opportunity option)! We saw very few balconies as large as the one we had with our room in all of the apartment buildings around us! Overall awesome experience, and I wish we could have stayed longer. We’re definitely missing our beautiful room and balcony as we start the next portion of our road trip in DC! Thanks to all of the staff, you made my kids’ first trip to NYC a memorable wonderful one! We will definitely make this our go to hotel on our next trip to NYC! 100% worth every penny! ❤️❤️❤️

Stayed for Christmas the hotel staff was kind and welcoming! The room was nicely sized and the bed was very comfortable. Wish there was a tub but I guess the premier king room I booked did not come with one! No complaints at all I would stay again such a cozy place!

We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were helpful and very kind. I was a bit surprised by my room. I looked at photos online and was struck by how pretty it was. I didn't realize I wouldn't have a closet. Well I had an 18" deep hole in the wall with a sheet for a closet door. They're was no view. I could see 3 other dark walls and an alley at the bottom of the "pit". A huge curtain was on the wall by the bed. I thought it was a larger picturesque window. Psyche! It was a brick wall. Not where to sit that offered comfort. Having said that the bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge. Live music in the lobby on Thursday was good. My Midwestern values and idea of what 350.00 will get me were challenged by the experience.
