I do not recommend it, I reserved with a view of the city and what they gave me was a room on the thirteenth floor with a view of the air conditioning of the building next door, when I booked they never told me that the bar was closed and they had no food service, They told me that breakfast was included and I arrived at 8:40 am and the reception girl in a very bad way told me that she no longer had any breakfast. And not to mention we arrived at 4:20 and our rooms weren’t ready. And when they did the beds weren’t tidied up.

Hotel is far from amazing it has a lot of issues and it’s sad because I wasn’t even appreciated for staying.

Complained multiple times about the amount of pot smoke coming into our room (with our two kids) nothing done about it. We will be checking out early.

I brought a group of 35 high school students here and it was an amazing experience. Everyone bent over backwards to accommodate us. Breakfast was amazing. I will definitely be back! thank you David and Kathia!

The best service you can find in this place together with one of the best chef Alex of Colombian descent, kind and charismatic person. Love it! 5 stars. I celebrate my birthday and I love it! ❤️

To begin my initial introduction to Four Points was on 9/6 after a long flight. I checked in with the front desk who gave me a quick half introduction and off to my room. No explanation of services, locations of ice machine, access to roof lounge or anything. I walk into the room and the bed looked like someone was laying down on it. I go downstairs and ask the front desk rep some questions on when the room was cleaned and so forth and she looked confused. I inquired about an upgrade (Willing to pay) and she advised she would only be able to accommodate an upgrade for two days to which I would still be paying for both the upgraded room then have to move back into the room I was trying to move out of. I let her know I would think on this as it was already late when I checked in. I proceeded back to the room and the next few days I would regret. The pillows on the bed were so flat they gave me neck pains, the TV in the room turned on when it wanted to, the ice machine was on the lower level floor which we were never advised and the roof access was next to the hotel but only available on Tuesday-Sat and I left Tues Morning. This may seem silly however there is no mention that they close it down certain days so on Sun when I came back from dinner and wanted to see the skyline from a beautiful view I was told it closed for the remainder of the time I would be there. They did advise I could go down the street to another hotel with a similar view.

Hotel very well placed (a little noisy). Big suites for a family of four with master bedroom separated from the living area where sleeping children. In the spacious bathroom. Tea, coffee, water free in the room. Small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Perfect staff.

I liked their clean, updated room. I also like their friendly professional staff, comfy bed and location. It’s highly recommended and I will definitely come back again.

Located in the heart of New York City, this is a very nice, clean and modern hotel. Since NY is very crowded, important landmarks like Times Square, Broadway, etc can be covered on foot. Area around it is full of good and reasonably priced Indian and Asian restaurants. One can also find good wholesale dresses shops, especially for ladies. Hotel offers some amenities like drinking water, iron, coffee maker etc. Though hotel is smoke free, they have a separate small space outside for smokers.

As is customary in Manhattan, prices were also abysly here. We paid extra for a room with a view. In the end, it just meant that we were high up, but we looked at just as big skyscrapers out of the window. Windows could not even be opened around a gap. One of the discs had bullet holes. After all, there was a coffee machine in our tiny and overpriced room.

Horrible experience. Staff opened room door at 6:30am even though we had 'do not disturb' sign on the door. Also wrong room to find. If we didn't lock it with chain, it would have been fully opened. When I reported that next morning, staff asked me if I locked door. Horrible staff, not friendly at all and didn't do their job properly — one staff took our valet parking ticket when we stored our luggage after check out, so we thought that was procedure. When we came back to get our car, we were asked about ticket and staff didn't do any effort to help us to find it except keep asking questions. Bell boy helped him to find it. Horrible experience, never coming back again.

Poor management and among the worst stays I've ever had: Stayed for 1 night, asked for late check out (Gold Status) as I had to work from the hotel most of the next day. No issues mentioned by staff/management during booking or check-in. Next morning ~10am loud drilling and nailing started at a constant pace in the floor above mine. Only then did I notice that they had left a note on the corner of the desk stating that construction noise would be there. I was not able to get… on any phone calls or do any work since the noise was too loud. No use in granting a late check-out if the room will be barely habitable. I tried to file a review with SPG for this stay but there was no option to do so, and no follow-up survey. The management knew about this issue and said nothing. This place sucks, and obviously doesn't care for its guests.

The hotel is located within walking distance to time square. The area around it is ridiculously dirty and ghetto. The room fee per night was reasonable, which makes the hair in the towel and loud AC unit tolerable. However, do not assume privacy while being in the hotel room. It was 11 in the morning (check out time is 12) and I was showering. The housekeeper knocked on my door. Before I could rush to answer the door (butt naked), she just went on and opened the door. I let the front desk know (just hoping that they'd train their employees better) and the front desk staff (Chloe) told me impatiently that the housekeeper was just checking if there is anybody inside the room. She went on to tell me that it's standard procedure in their hotel and is perfectly normal to open the door on a guest that doesn't answer the door within 3 seconds of knocking (an hour before check out time). Good job Four Point by Sheraton, so much for the comfort and hospitality. Maybe I need to pay more for their five star establishment in order to assume total privacy in a room I pay for.

The four points is a really nice hotel in a very convenient location in Midtown Manhattan. Our room was a good-sized very comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast was very good. The only negative I have is that the air conditioning unit was incredibly loud. It sounded like a galloping air conditioning unit. Other than that I think this is a great place to stay up and would definitely go there again.

Good location! Few steps away from times square. King size room was ideal for a couple. The view looked lovely at night. Has restaurants and subway station close by. Friendly staff. Just need a lobby upgrade.

I was bitten by flying insects in the room and front desk staff took pictures of the insect bite at 4:15 am 7/3/18 as I checked out. I called when I arrived home to tell the I had more swelling and was told that they sending to check the room. It them over12 hours to call me back to tell me that finding show the was no bed bugs we're found. My response was I told the young at 4:30 the insects were flying. I was never asked how I was doing?

This hotel has very poor customer service assistance. The are very painful Red and swollen Don't stay in this hotel.

Fantastic location. It's at the heart of times square, great stay for tourists coming to experience the hustle and bustle of the big Apple. Tour buses, shops, restaurants — everything at the doorstep. Great experience staying there.

As a starting point for sightseeing ideal!
Staff very friendly and the room with a view was also very nice and clean.
Breakfast is conveniently right to the left of the hotel. Small café delicious coffee and baked goods!

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Valet parking is $67 per night. The entrance to the hotel looks like it is in an alley way. The hotel is tight and can get overcrowded easily. Much better places to stay. On a positive the staff is very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. Just one word: beautiful.
Close to everything; Times Square in 5 minutes on foot, Madison in 10min, Central Park in 15-20min walk and a multitudes of restaurant for all tastes and all budgets… We were 4 friends the rooms are Toop, a little small but we are not going to NY PR stay at the hotel so it didn't bother us more than that.
The housekeeping is done every day and superbly by the housekeeping ladies who are super nice.
The check in was done by Tyrell at the reception when we arrived, he explained everything to us and acceded to our request to be on the higher floors (we are moving from the 1st to the 20th floors as much as telling you that the view was magnifiic).
The staff is super nice and helpful except one that was at night it seems to me (not inviting no smile no answer when we salute…) the rest of the personal it was a favorite.
The only regret; We could not access the rooftop of the hotel because closed at 5pm probably because of the period of work.
We will definitely return.

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff and good location. Although they are renovating now, the room was clean and bed comfortable. Quite small but everything in New York is that way! Had a great time for a weekend getaway.

Decent hotel in Midtown. The reception team is super nice! There is refurbishment going on right now (April 2018), I believe they are about to finish. Therefore the bar doesn't really exist. View from our room is attached.

Room was fine — clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location was convenient, however it's right across from the bus terminal, so take that for what it's worth.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and felt clean. There were no weird smells or stains on the carpets like a lot of places. The staff here was truly top notch. Always great by the front desk when coming and going, the one man (literally one man) who ran the restaurant/bar was so kind and working his tail off. I would recommend this hotel. It is worth noting that you are located on the far end of Times Square and it can be a bit shady. I never felt unsafe when walking at night but be aware of your surroundings. There are quite a few vagrants around. Remember it is NYC and rooms are small, walls are thin, that's just the name of the game. There are only about 8 rooms on each floor and the hallways are TINY so not a lot of room for kids to run around or for people to hang out.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. But we had no problems with payments (they always charged more than they had to). I personally seem inexperienced and uncourteous. Breakfast is bad. Even the packaged cake had a bad taste.

I actually cancelled my hotel booking at the Westin and changed it to Four Points. Why? The location is top notch next to Times Square. The staff are also friendly, and the manager of the location cares a lot. He cares enough to put his card in the front with his cell # (check out my pictures). You also get 2 waters when you go into your room. If you need more, they gave me another 2 at the front desk without hesitation. They recognize your platinum membership level. The only thing I wish was better was the gym. It's insanely tiny, but surprisingly, it gets the job done for a few workouts. What more can you expect from a Four Points? I'll stay here as frequently as I can at a good price. Bravo.

I didn't realize the hotel was under construction which was a huge disappointment. My husband and I like to have a few drinks and relax in the hotel bar at the end of a hectic day. The bare windowless back room the hotel offered was not my vision of relaxing. The vending machine was broken and front-desk morning staff said they wouldn't be able to sell me a caffeinated soda. The beverage cooler was nearby and full of caffeinated drinks! A big thank you to Farrah (hotel staff) and a cook for their kindness for offering me a soda! (Small gestures can often make a big impact! ) Hotel was located in a "questionable" area of town. The rooms were small but quiet, clean and comfortable, which is why I gave this hotel a four star rating.

Great location, cleanliness and staff at the unique height faults the lack of a lobby for renovation work.

We found work in progress not planned and the breakfast was not much for us Italians who also aim for sweets. Very friendly Reception and clean rooms.

Staff was unhelpful and seemingly getting pleasure from denying us into a room we had rented while the cardholder sent an authorization form. The night manager was sarcastic and told me I could pay for the room myself if I really wanted to go in. Clearly a power move on her end as she lacked any of it outside of her meaningless role as a no good manager. Room was marginal at best. Never again!

The negatives: As a guest I didn't have total control of the AC unit (someone in charge decided what the temperature in MY room was gonna be). Room kinda small. I felt initially the front desk clerk was trying to over talk me when it came to MY money. Positives: Great location. MOST of the staff were helpful. Hotel was very safe and secure.

The hotel has very clean rooms and the service was good. Breakfast is not the best penalty to get out.

Extremely nice and for the location so close to the Timesquare relatively cheap hotel, perfect for a multi-day stay.

Excellent location in front of the terminal, from which depart the connections to all the places where you want to go, even to Jersey Gardens and other shopping centers in the area. The hotel does not have a great reception, but has everything that is needed in a place like NY where the most interesting thing is outside. The breakfast is not included and is quite expensive ($19 per person) but a block away is Carlos Bake shop where you can take a few breakfast exquisite and varied Argentine style. In the corner is also Dean & Deluca excellent place. Very close to Madison square and Times Square. The bus tour and the main theatres are all within a few blocks.

We checked in early. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. There was construction in the lobby but it wasn't a bother. Aside from a slow wait to get on the elevator once on the elevators themselves were the fastest I've ever been on.

Four points was a really nice place and the price wasn't so bad either. The only downside is the "City view" rooms don't actually offer too much view of the city. The Empire State Building was way off in the corner view from our window, but hotel service and amenities were amazing.

Worst customer experience from any hotel in a long time. I booked a room for a night using points. I had to cancel the reservation because of business reasons. They were audacious enough to put a forfeiture fee of $900 and this is when the total points used were 16000 (nearly $160) and when I am a platinum member. Now they have reverted and charged the 16000 points. I understand that you have cancellation policies which is fair. In case of cancellation you could have simply charged the points instead of putting forfeiture fee and making me go through the random formalities. I will strongly recommend all my company colleague to not use this hotel.

An already occupied room was assigned to me. After service A1 and located very close to Time Square and Metro stations.

We booked a suite for New Year’s Eve. We felt disappointed as soon as we entered the room. The leather sofa chair had partly peeled off. The coffee table was broken. The service was slow and the hotels’ service standard leaves a lot for desired. The service was painstakingly slow especially since the toilet was blocked and water was overflowing! The smart TV in the living area was also not connected to the internet. We made our complain to the front desk the following day and the person at the front desk informed us that his supervisor would follow up with us. It has been 3 days since and we’ve yet to hear back from the hotel. This is truly disappointing as we paid so much for the room and the suite. Would avoid this hotel like the plague.

The hotel is very well located, although the part of 40th Street is a bit rundown. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The air conditioning in the room exchanges fresh air.
Breakfast should not be booked. In Hell's Kitchen and along 8th Avenue, etc. Are many good diners.
There is a fitness room in the basement, which is neatly furnished.

One of the best places to stay in NYC. The location is right in the heart of midtown, one block away from times square. Port authority bus terminal is right opposite to the hotel. Hotel is perfect for traveler's who wanna spend their time walking and exploring city, as everything around can be seen with 10-15 min walk. Hotel can be a bit expensive during certain days but overall I'm satisfied with the service and hospitality.

This is our second time we have stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in New York City. We are so pleased that in the coming visits to New York City, this is our home away from home. We enjoy the coziness and the friendly staff. This place is very centrally located in Manhattan and with easy accessibility. We recommended it without hesitation. Sheraton you’re doing great!

Good limited service hotel close to many midtown attractions. Lobby is a bit cramped but works as long as a large group isn't checking in. Also, close to Port Authority with all of the subways at the doorstep. Service was great. Overall good choice for Times Square or Theatre district.

The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is so big. I really appreciate the free water and coffee everyday. The personal is magnific and very polite. I am very happy with this hotel.

Excellent location with close proximity to Times Square. Clean room with comfortable bed. Great blackout shade for window. Bathroom is large and well equipped with a nice shower.

The rooms are clean and better than many hotels nearby. Within a walking distance to time square. Basic breakfast. The only issue is that street did not feel safe at night. City view rooms has good views.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Location is also perfect. Just a brief walk from Broadway and few more steps to times square. I would have liked the option of a in-hotel breakfast in the morning.

Good location close to times square short walk to Penn station lots of food and drink options close by subway close by. Room clean and plenty of space. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

A great hotel brilliant location, Times Square right on your door step, staff amazing only thing I would say is needs a fridge in room even if it was a small counter one as you need it for water and juice.

Place is perfectly located by Times Square. Walking distance to everything you need. People were really nice and rooms were clean and quiet. Free waters each day saved us time. I wish the lighting was a bit better in our room and pillows could be better. :) oh, and there's a mini bar w sports games downstairs and you can buy wine by the bottle at the front desk for $20.

Great room and view. Location was better than I expected as we could walk from our train to it with ease. The staff was very friendly and made us feel extra special. I'd certainly try to stay here again on my next visit to NYC!

I just want to say what a great experience we have had staying at your hotel. This was our first time to New York and the staff here from the night we checked in on 8/10/2017 to 8/15/2017 was very sweet. The lady who checked us in remembered us every time we came through and the manager was very sweet as well. Surprising us with balloons champagne and chocklate covered strawberries. What a treat. Forget the rooftop, different entrance and do not feel part of the hotel as it appears on site and ads. Otherwise good position in Manhattan near Time square and Port authority bus terminal. Good sized rooms but small lobby and no other space to hang around in. But hey, you got all of Manhattan right out over the doorstep.

Really nice room and in a perfect location for your trip to New York. The port authority bus station has a entrance just over the road from this hotel. We’re you can catch the subway to wherever — we never used a taxi the whole time we stayed. I really liked the cardboard coffee cups in the room which were great to take with you on a cold New York morning.

The room wasn't room but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a great location just a few minutes walk from times square. The staff was friendly. The lobby had iced tea which was nice for someone from the south but it wasn't sweet! Great overall!

I stayed here for a business trip for 3 weeks. The staff was amazing, always there to greet me and make sure I had whatever I needed. There was an issue with my check in, not on the hotel side, but the staff made sure everything with the issue was taken care of, never got frustrated and assured me it would all be good. I was there for business but would definitely choose to stay there when I come back to New York.

The hotel is very central to the center of New York. There's a subway, a lot of cafes, including vegetarians. But the view was in a multi-level parking lot. Overall, the room was clean, fresh. The staff is friendly. Was for 10 days, there was no big bail, and the card was cancelled.

The area is busy much noise of machines, advice rooms from the 25th floor up. The hotel is nice but does not offer NE breakfast service nor dinner.

A great hotel for visiting the city! It's only a few blocking from the heart of Times Square and Broadway. Clean and comfortable rooms with all the amenities you expect. Very friendly and helpful staff as well!

I was initially freaked out because I had read previous reviews involving bed bugs… but I think those stories were either false or a relic in history. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but I think that's to be expected in Manhattan and in Times Square specifically. This is a great hotel for the price. I have absolutely no complaints and would stay again.

Small rooms but great location. Definitively afordable for this area. Friendly staff. It can be difficult to park though, I saw a few parking option on Google maps but could not find an easy access.

We were in New York for the 1st time and had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. We were very impressed with the quality of the service and the friendliness of all the staff. We especially liked the Wednesday afternoon reception. The rooms were small but clean, very comfortable beds. Very good midtown location. Excellent stay, we would go back there again.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Location was perfect. Although the rooms are quite small, with little space to move around in, you're really only there to sleep. Plenty to do that is nearby. Bathrooms: really liked the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers on the shower wall. Beds are so very comfortable! View was of an office building across the street. Three elevators that seemed slow. They use your room key to activate elevator once you're inside (middle one does not need the key). No key needed to descend in any. If multiple floors are needed, hold each button in for a few seconds, otherwise key will be needed to push buttons for other floors.

Visited friend staying at the hotel. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND fresh and plenty of room Nice King sized bed too.

The staff was extremely friendly and responsive, the rooms were clean and neat, the in-house food was quite good (there was a breakfast buffet). The view isn't anything to write home about, but the location is awesome. For the price we thought we got a great deal.

I have stayed at 5 star resorts and I have never received attention like the service like I received here. Rooms are great even though small. Lots of windows. Clean. Everything we need. Great staff. Will stay here again.

I have stayed here every time I visit New York. The location is close to Times Square and ideal for anything you want to do in the city. The staff has been great and helpful when I have had an issue. Definitely not a bad place to stay. I will probably stay here again when I visit.

Location was perfect! Rooms were kind of small, but expected for right near Times Square. Service was excellent, they took very good care of us. Be warned — it takes about 45 minutes to get your car out, so plan in advance.

I arrived at this particular Sheraton because I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest and have been staying at Sheraton hotels throughout the new York city area. The young lady at front desk. Was rude and manipulated my credit card and ID. She refused to give me my room and unnecessarily called security on November 23rd. Security felt no need to intervene and I had to go to the Holiday Inn around the corner. I was so disappointed because I was treated so poorly. I believe that the staff should undergo some training and not just place a "body" behind the front desk.

Got locked out of my room without the person signed to it. The staff was less than helpful unfortuantely. I understand that is for safety though.

For the same price you can get much better. They put two holds on my corporate card (over $2000/each) for the same stay which pushed me over the limit on the card (so I got to pay for business meals out of pocket). Facility is pretty run down. Room service is fast, but not particularly good. Staff is very friendly, if unable to resolve problems.

Staff was great! We got to the hotel a little earlier than check in time and they didn't give us any trouble, and checked us into an available room right away. (We were expecting to just drop off our luggage and wait until check in time, but were very excited when they said we could go to a room right away! ) The room had a great view. This hotel is in a great location as you can get on almost any subway right across the street through the port authority bus terminal. Staying here again in about 4 months. Can't wait to go back!

Small hotel, but very central. The rooms are good but small. The only drawback is that it is located to the side of the bus station, so there is activity during the night, which prevents sleep at times.

Very nice staff. Room was nice with free Wi-Fi, bottles of water and cupcakes. Great bartender at the smallish lounge with a nice street view of people lined up for the Skyroom. No Yes channel (we were in town to go to the Yankee games anyway. ) Good experience all around.

They have a reception for hotel guests every Wednesday evening. Friendly staff and even better food. It's conveniently located near Port Authority / Times Square and worth checking out during a business trip.

Great hotel but only thing that bugged me was the $100 deposit that they hold for 3 business days it's ridiculous. Like what don't you give me my money within an hr. Its barberic. Other than that room and shower was good. Bed was king size had a great nite sleep. Me and my girl enjoyed our stay and how quiet it was.

I stayed here for a week. It was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in! Free bottled water, and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN rooms. The front desk treated us like family. I will come back one day and stay again.

Central location but lower rooms noisy due to the Bus Station, limited dinning and a small bar are fine given the many options nearby.

Great hotel! the staff is excellent. The hotel arrived several hours before check in and as assigned us room. Staff is friendly, sympathetic and willing to help you. The hotel offers coffee and water free every day. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is unbeatable. You are close to the metro and it is easy to walk from there to many places. The people who take reservations over the phone are the absolute most incompetent group of people to ever work anywhere. I have called in 3 times today and they are still messing up the dates and misspelling the names.

Very comfortable. Good location, easy to go to Times Square and the subways. Very helpfull staff. The room is clean. Well, the hotel is very good to people that come to New York to appreciate the city, not stay in the hotel. To rest and sleep is good enough.

The staff is friendly, the continental breakfast is simple and tasty. The rooms are spacious enough for a NYC hotel and it's a clean hotel. The bathroom door is frosted glass, which is a little weird if you're sharing a room, but the only downside to this hotel I can think of.

This hotel is NOT in Times Square. You have to walk about 10 blocks (long, New York blocks) to get to Times Square. This hotel is surrounded by a large bus terminal, a vertical parking lot, and a parole center. The Chinese restaurant on the block has a sign that says "Review status pending. " When we arrived to check in, the staff told us that our rooms wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours, so we had to leave our luggage in the lobby and walk several blocks to find a restaurant to eat at (Dallas BBQ! ). When we came back to get into our rooms, I noticed how old the lobby looks. It could use a paint job among other things. Our rooms were small. We had towels but no washcloths. The 2nd day, they gave us 1 washcloth. Why would you give 0 and then 1 washcloth to a room that has 2 people and double beds? The beds were the best part of the rooms. The mattresses are very soft and contour to your body. The carpet could use some updating or a good professional cleaning. The view to 2 of our rooms was an office building. The view to the other room was the bus terminal, where the people in our party heard buses going in and out of the terminal all night long. The sports bar area in the lobby is a joke. It's 2 tables, a TV, and the kind of mini-bar stand you'd have in your home. The "restaurant" was a joke as well — some tables and chairs in the back of the lobby behind the elevators. There's nothing special about this hotel.
