We stayed for 4 nights, the staff are very helpful and polite nothing was to much trouble for them, the rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great to get you up and out and only 10 mins walk to Time Square we would definitely stay here again Thank you for a pleasant stay Comfort Inn.

A simple hotel, rooms were clean, VERY friendly helpfull staff at the reception. Location is really great, breakfast sucked. For a visit in new york I would go back.

A simple hotel, nothing flashy but well placed and within walking distance from many landmarks!

In March, we spent 5 wonderful days in New York. In the hotel Comfort Inn we were received very friendly. The rooms are big enough for the purpose. We were with 3 people in a room. Bad is a bit small, but you do not want to dance in it. It was important to us that it was clean and we had good experiences here. We had explicitly searched for a hotel with breakfast when booking. This is on paper plates and with plastic cutlery, but it was varied and fresh every day. Everyone could prepare packed lunches, take fruit und und and all day coffee and tea for free. The hotel is well located, from here we have everything within walking distance, what we had planned. There was also one or the other hint from the staff. We will definitely be back and look after our pink Duck. Warm greetings from Germany.

Stayed one night before our cruise. Very small room, but very clean and modern. Breakfast wasn't the greatest, but for the price we paid for a Saturday night stay in Manhattan, we can't really complain. It was only a short walk to the cruise port, so no need to spend money on a cab. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place sleeping while visiting NY. It's not in the crowded centre, yet close enough to walk to Time Square (10-15min) or Central Park (30min) by foot. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and there are no problems during nights. One thing which I didn't like so much was food for breakfast. Everything was the same thing and there was not much choices.

The front desk staff were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Not 5 stars since they started since kind of maintenance work on the adjacent room early in the morning. The door was propped open with the security latch, and the employee took no care in making certain the door closed quietly, instead letting it bang and bounce to a close with each in and out over and over.

This hotel is in the perfect location with a short walk to Times Square, restaurants, theater district. The staff are exemplary and do their best to accommodate your every need. This is is our 5th stay and there is no other hotel in NYC where we would stay.

Hotel was very clean, staff was FANTASTIC, but the rooms are VERY small. Think of a college dormroom — 20% smaller than that. Additionally, the breakfast cannot accommodate all the guests. I suppose you'll be fine if you get there before everyone else. If you're looking for a place close to the pier to lay down, and the above is of no major concern, this is your place.

Its a good little place for sleeping. Aside from that, don't expect big luxury rooms. You're pretty much paying for a bath and bed. They do have some coupons on the first floor that gets you free gifts (with purchase) or an amount off a ticket to various attractions. Breakfast is served each morning. They also have a computer you can use in the lobby though it seems dated. Great distance from Times Square!

This place is a FRAUD DO NOT STAY HERE. They will charge your card continuously. Do not give these people your credit card. They have no manager for you to speak to regarding concerns just send you to voicemail. They aren’t connected to the franchise of comfort inns. This will steal your money do NOT stay here.

First off, the staff were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was decent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We choose to stay here to it being within walking distance of the cruise terminal and also close to the subway and several restaurants.

Stayed here for 1 night on May 25th. Hotel was nice & clean with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plenty of bathroom towels, face cloths and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was good! Hotel is within walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, Empire State Building and Hell’s Kitchen. Parking is next to Skyline at W. 49th & 10th. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated by hotel front desk staff. Parking for me was $30 for 1 night. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Right, in my case the room was good but the problem is if you tap on the ground floor next to reception. The breakfast abundant but not excellent, good cleaning. It has a very good location, Wi-Fi that worked well, it is a good option if one has the goal of knowing and to just go to sleep to the hotel.

Hotel perfect for budget and with breakfast included with a sufficient choice where you can make big fresh waffles, very nice and nice staff, comfortable bed.

Our room was booked months in advance and they gave us a room on the lobby. Woke up not to the alarm, but tables, people and machines beeping at 6:30 in the morning! They finally moved our room the next day because we had to complain about the poor conditions. Breakfast is horrible and the lobby area is way to cramped. The keys don’t work, their was hair EVERYWHERE and it was not mine. Their was dust on the ceiling, bed, bathroom, etc. Wi-Fi keeps cutting out, barely can send the review. Breakfast is BAD, bagels, eggs, sausage ALL FAKE. The rooms are so small we can barely move. The TV channels keep cutting out and not working. THEIR WAS A SOCK ON THE TV! The phone doesn’t even work too! The place is horrible.

The rooms are small (that is normal)
but cozy and clean. The area for breakfast is very small for the amount of guests; and it is also due to people seeing that there are others waiting, you are talking as if they didn't care about seeing others unemployed. The male employees (in the breakfast area) it seems that they don't sleep well or something is bothering them, that are treated badly to the guests. The location is perfect! Is close to everything and the price is economical compared with the rest of the area.

Clean, friendly staff, good location, windows do not close properly, thin doors. Prwis performance perfectly ok.

The Staff were great and friendly, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was a wonderful bonus. Hotel is extremely close to Times Square. Would definitely recommend and if am ever back in New York will be staying again. Thank you for a great experience.

Stayed here in November 2016 and loved it. Tried to book again for Feb 2019 but they were fully booked! Others must think they are good too!

Wow, what a week, Myself and my wife had a great week in NYC, one of the best parts was staying at the Comfort Inn Mid town West, the "Not a problem" attitude from all of the staff especially front of house, Geraldine and Syreet. You have to meet these people to experience it, I cannot sing their praises enough!. Wasn't sure about the area"Hell's Kitchen" but don't be put off by that, OK, the comfort Inn is not what you would term "5 star" but the service is absolutely first class. If all the Comfort Inn's operate this way they are a credit to the company, FACT!

The hotel is really recommended!
The location to the time square is great, about 10 min. Walk.
Rooms are also very clean!
Breakfast is also as I find very good!

Check in and out goes super fast, as the staff is also very friendly znd helpful.
The only thing you need to mention is that the rooms are really very small.
But no matter, most of the time are on the road anyway.
But would book this hotel again.

Perfect hotel. Awesome staff. Perfect room. No noise being on the 5th floor. The only negative is the breakfast. Very little choice and not for my taste.

The location is pretty good to 800 mts of the times scuare. The cleaning is good, the rooms very small, bathroom small but good. The breakfast is good but has little place, only 8 tables for the entire hotel and there is always that wait. It also has coffee, tea and hot chocolate free all day and the staff is good.

Very straight forward place. Great deal for he price. I needed a place to stay while on business and it fit the bill perfectly. Staff was helpful and polite, breakfast was basic but what I needed (fresh fruit and yogurt, they also had bagels and make your own waffles). I had the queen room which is small but just fine for 1 person. It would be a bit tight but doable for a couple. Great place for the price!

We had a great stay at this hotel. It's a cheap place so you can't expect it to be fancy but the breakfast is pretty good and the room is plenty sufficient. It's not a huge room but you're in midtown NYC at a 2 star hotel, so it's exactly what I would expect.

Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and good location. Rooms are on the small side, but overall great for the price. They offer bag storage service if you arrive before check in and will hold your bags after checkout until the time you leave the city (as long as you don't leave them there overnight).

Excellent choice with very good price-quality relation. Very good location and attention from staff. Few tables for breakfast. Recommended!

Comfort Inn… how to compromise your holiday!
Nice vacation in New York. Perfect if you avoid the Comfort Inn, classified "A" in America, in Italy would already be closed for sanitation problems! We can thank New York for the things that we have to see and thus allow us to "limit the stay" in this structure.
Change of sheets and towels provided within three days, on the fourth day on NS. Insistence the receptionist unearths from the laundry a dirty change to the view and humid to the touch. Already used!
Room with a view on the 9th floor but knowing before the elevator would be broken 3 days out of 8 would have been preferable to give up the view!
Small room for four people not to know where to put the suitcases, with carpet never cleaned and residues now become "furnishing accessories". Cleaning the bathroom consisting in lowering the tablet of the W. C. (Toilet paper is required at reception), the used towels left on the ground are folded and placed together with the clean ones, so as to force us to pack the clean ones to Be sure that they are not mixed. Stained duvets (no one knows what) without the duvet covers, and riassettati beds pulling up the blankets and leaving the sheets all crumpled.

Experience to forget!
We did not seek a luxury standard, but from a 4 star, despite being already aware of the lack of space and the quality of breakfast, I think it is safe to expect at least the cleanliness of the room, the bathroom and the change of towels. None of this and as a result of our requests there were proposed dirty and damp towels (! ).
In the 8 days of stay 3 of broken elevator, but what is surprising and that there was the slightest sensitivity to put alerts to the various floors (9). We asked to anticipate a day of a quarter of an hour breakfast but the receptionist who consented did not release it to that in the morning resulting in problems!
In spite of this, fantastic New York, to come back to us, perhaps in a more curated and organized structure, I do not think is an exaggerated expectation.

The staff in general is very good, the place is old but functional, if you are looking for sleep and showering it is a good choice. As a review I would say the place for breakfast is small. The location is good and the area for walking is safe, we have come back last night without any inconvenience. For those who have a priority to know the city, have the tourist spots at hand and then arrive to rest, is a good option. Pd: Do not hire taxi from the hotel, on the way to the airport we stopped the police and the driver did not have the paperwork in order, we had Q stop another taxi. Luckily we arrived on time.

The room was OK. However it is a noisy hotel and the room for breakfast is too small difficult to find a table.

I’d never stayed at a Comfort Inn before, and honestly, I was a bit weary. I thought it was a lower end chain, but I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed. From the friendliness of the woman who checked us in, acommodating our needs in the moment, to everything, it was great. It looked brand new — all new furnishings, tile, wallpaper, beds. Though the room was tiny w 2 beds, it was meticulous, as was the bathroom, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it was quiet (aside from the usual NYC noise). I had a really good night’s sleep, a nice hot shower, and nice soft towels. I would DEFINITELY stay there again! Really great!

For the price, the rooms were great. Full size bath and shower. Although this isn't the case in all rooms. House keeping was timely and front desk service was outstanding. Great for a few night stays!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and provided a great night sleep. Free breakfast and all day coffee provided was very nice. Location is great, just a few blocks from the pier and Times Square. Lots of fun shops and restaurants all around. Only a few blocks from the bus line and subway stations in case you need to travel further. Overall a nice hotel at a good price and a very convenient location. Will definitely come again if I'm back in Manhattan.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is small but clean and comfortable. Close to 10th Avenue and West End on West 48th Street, so you can walk downtown to Times Square or uptown to Columbus Circle. Great for runners/walkers!

Very clean and quiet which was quite relaxing. The Wi-Fi could use so work.

The front desk service was excellent! The breakfast is so so good and lots of food to chose from. Great location and minutes walk to times square. There's lots to see in New York. If you have any questions or concerns about the hotel or city the staff is there to help and they are very nice.

Bed is big and comfy. Breakfast is good, plenty of choice but there's not many tables so ended up going back up to our room to eat. Windows are paper thin so hear every bit of noise from the street. Wifi is terrible. Rooms are tiny, with very little storage for clothes. Fairly close to main attractions. Times Square is close enough to walk to but far enough away that the busyness and constant screaming/taxi horns aren't an issue. Hotel is nice enough but there are better in NYC, albeit more expensive.

Very Small hotel about 8 storeys quite close to Times Square with very small clean rooms and beds, everything you need is there in the room although I have no idea how you would even get a vacuum cleaner in to hoover. Coffee making / iron / hairdryer / TV although all we seemed to be able to view was news channel. Pillows and beds fabulous. Dark brown and olive green in rooms which makes the room rather dark. Hot water in shower and sink was a trickle which is a nuisance especially if you have long hair to wash may be because we were in the lobby rooms. 24 hr tea/coffee from refilled flasks at the reception desk which at times was just warm. Breakfast room is the lobby! Insufficient tables — about 7 for 50 or more guests. Also you eat from PAPER plates and PLASTIC cutlery which is so cheap you spread butter with difficulty. No trays for food so its a balancing act. Elderly people having to sit on stools with breakfast on their laps eating from paper plates and polystyrene cereal dishes. Not acceptable! Food selection satisfactory although fresh fruit disappeared very quickly. Four bedrooms in the lobby area. Our room was on the lobby floor so we were woken every morning early 6.30am by schreeching chairs and people talking also late at night you could hear people talking/checking in/out.

I was there for a training session for employees. When I arrived it was 9am. They were serving complimentary breakfast. The breakfast area was clean and tidy. Then I went downstairs for the training of the housekeeping staff. The area was a little cluttered but clean. Overall from what I saw I would give the hotel a 4of5. Also the staff was perky and polite.

Nice hotel in midtown, I think the price is decent. The breakfast area is tiny and the breakfast isn't great. They have coffee all day though. It's in a great location but the rooms are tiny. Good overall experience, the roof is off limits which I feel is ridiculous in NYC. They should have a rooftop sitting area or garden.

Comfort Inn Midtown is a great hotel in a great & safe area with an excellent price point! There staff, the breakfast, & their Wi-Fi was awesome! Me & my little family of three highly recommend this hotel.

The air conditioner made the room smell funky and the room was VERY small. However, it was clean and the front desk staff was EXTREMELY helpful and courteous. The hotel isn't labeled well on the outside and the UBER drivers all dropped us off at the Holiday Inn next door. At first, that was confusing when we thought the hotel didn't exist, but it was fine after that.

Comfy room and close to up and coming 10th Ave restaurant scene.

The hotel was conveniently located to the tourist destinations we were visiting and cozy. The hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant. While the room itself was small, the bed was very comfortable and we didn't have any complaints.

Room 801. Service was good. But the breakfast was closed just when we are working on it. That was not how I would treat. I would at least tell 5 minutes ahead.

Housekeeping forgot to provide new towels a couple of times, but other than that the staff were friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was light and a good start to the day. I'd stay here again.

Good hotel and good prices. The huge beds they have are the best. You can also find the Intrepid Sea-Space Museum very close by and all the restaurants of Hell's Kitchen.

The hotel was decent for a Comfort Inn. We were close enough to everything, but not near too busy of a street so that was nice. The room was a tiny shoebox, but that's to be expected in NYC. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. The stay was nice, but nothing really stands out about this place.

Service was excellent, staff was courteous and a pleasure. Room was clean and well kept. Location wasnt too noisy or a hassle to get to and from.

The rooms are pretty standard and clean albeit a bit on the small side. It's impossible to turn the shower on without water spraying right at you, past the door, and onto the floor. Otherwise, everything else is pretty much on par.

Rude staff! dirty rooms and blankets! worst of all they charged me for an extra night for no reason.

We're spend here 4 nights. It's a very nice hotel. Great spot. Lots of very good restaurants in a walking distance. Everything is quite close. A subway station in a few blocks away. The staff is very welcoming, smiley, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are quite poor. If they only add vegetables to the breakfast manu it would totally upgrade their breakfast. Another thing that could upgrade that hotel's service — hotel bikes. It's a lot of fun bike around the city (i did it with citibike) instead of using the subway. I enjoyed my staying in the hotel. You got my recommendation.

Terrible… just terrible… rude staff… never again.

Bed bugs. The hotel has bed bugs and for that reason I can't give it more than one star. I found one on my suitcase as I was leaving and hope to God that I didn't bring any back with me. If it weren't for the bed bugs, I would have given this a decent review.

This hotel was such a welcome surprise! I stayed over the New Year holiday and was so impressed! I walked here from Penn Station via 8th Ave and it was a very scenic walking tour! The only thing is this Hotel is in Hell's Kitchen, and having walked here after dark, it seemed pretty sketch. Other than that though, what a great stay! The hotel clerk that checked me in was so nice, got me a room on the 8th Flr and I had a spectacular view of the skyline and the sunset. I had forgotten my toothpaste and he gave me a free tube. I also got a "Welcome Bag" with a bottle of water, chips, and a granola bar, which was such a nice touch! The lobby was even still decorated for the holidays. I don't know what everyone is griping about the room size, I thought it was very well appointed and cozy. You can tell it was recently updated and the bed was so comfy! They even have a choice of soft or firm pillows of the bed! The room had a king bed, desk, flat screen TV, luggage rack, iron and ironing board, coffee-maker, alarm clock, and a 5-hanger armoire, with shelves (no "closet" or dresser, but honestly, was not a big deal). The bathroom was fine too and the amazing showerhead had 5-spray options. There is even a full length dressing mirror. Very happy with the room! It is noisy, but you are in NY, if you don't want the sounds of the city, go upstate! The breakfast was ok. They had egg, ham, and a make your own waffle station (w/Strawberry pancake batter).
