Overall pretty good. Stayed here quite a few times and there are always 2 annoying things. (1) only 2 elevators and if one is down be prepared for a long wait. Even when both are operating it takes a while. (2) check in always seems busy, be prepared to wait a little. Like the location, quiet and plenty to walk to including central park.

Hotel staff was excellent, very accommodating and friendly. They also recommended some great places to eat Rooms were big for Manhatten but just had space for the essentials. The bedroom etc was pretty standard, it was the hotel staff that really made it for us.

This place is fine — — affordable and clean. Not spectacular by any means, and the elevators can take forever to come to your floor. But if you're looking for something affordable for a few days in the city, it's a good location, a nice-ish neighborhood, and a good choice.

Quiet, clean rooms and a SUPER friendly, accommodating staff. The real treat was the amazing complimentary breakfast. Couldn't believe the variety of choices and how fresh everything was. I will absolutely stay here again!

A modern and clean hotel, 100% delivered on my expectations. The standard room was probably a little smaller than expected, but extremely clean and had all amenities. Free breakfast was included, though I wish it was available later than 9am. The hotel was within 10min walking from Columbus Circle and a great location to explore midtown and central park.

This hotel was amazing! Me and my boyfriend had a great time there, the room was small and had no view but it was really comfortable, beautiful and clean. The amenities were great as well, the outside area with the couches were welcoming and perfect to have a drink, relax and enjoy the nice weather. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly at all times we would simply pass by them. The location was great and very convenient for us as tourists. The breakfast was delicious and complete, even though we had to wake up a little bit early for a vacation (breakfast time until 9:00 on weekdays and until 9:30 on weekends), it was worth it! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who may be looking for a great stay, in a beautiful hotel, with an awesome location and service!

Pool/Spa: None Overall experience: My flight was a red eye so I did not make it to the hotel until about 530am. Unfortunately, the room was not available until 3pm. Although I was very tired they had no rooms but the staff was friendly and allowed me to at least hang out in their lobby until a room was available. Not the hotels fault just the booking service but the Fairfield staff did their best to get a room set up. Complimentary breakfast was good, lots of choices.

We landed at this hotel by the unfortunate cancellation of our flight at JFK. Needless to say, this place made up for our delay in NYC. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast that was included in our stay was an incredible bonus. The buffet included gluten free and vegetarian choices that made my daughter feel right at home. Soy milk for the coffee was an added bonus. The service desk staff and room service personnel were professional and courteous and made every attempt to make sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. This place is definitely a hidden jewel! Highly recommend you consider this place next time you are in Manhattan.

Good value for money. Lovely staff and there is always someone at the reception who speaks Spanish. American breakfast and does not usually vary from day to day. The rooms are small and clean, quite well soundproof, although I recommend if you can choose the upper floors; the closet is tiny, maybe it's the only one but; Giant beds and very comfortable.

Stay was excellent. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Room was extremely clean. Bed was so comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! 10/10

Hotel quite decent, the room is comfortable, with kinglsize bed, probably lack of storage… a chance on two to be side "courtyard" facing a building with the air conditioning that works permanently. The breakfast buffet is OK, if you don't have a problem eating in cardboard plates and plastic cutlery. Quiet from its location, count a 10 minute walk to Columbus Circle Station and 20 minutes to Times Square.

I stayed at the Marriott for 4 days and let me say that the staff made this hotel so memorable. I was so fortunate to have Melissa (staff member) guide me where to go site seeing and how to get to the places I wanted to go. All the staff members were so friendly and made me feel like I was at home. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I go to NYC.

I recommend the hotel! Very good location, close to Central Park and Columbus Circle Station. We were with my family at the end of January 2018. Breakfast is excellent. Excellent service at breakfast, and at the Front Desk. All very friendly and helpful. A special AGRACIMIENTO for MARX who helped us with several things and was always willing to collaborate and advise me.

Rooms girls. Fortunately Spanish attention. Good breakfast. The hotel is located in a quiet and central location close to downtown Park.
If you do not buy the Tours that offer you there, I recommend to find out online first and then buy, they give you verses like a song.

Rooms are very small and noisy, every little noise is heard from other guests opening and closing their doors to ambulances from the hospital a block away. Breakfast ends early and the elevators are very slow, so don't bank of catching breakfast (ends at 9) if you get to the elevator after 8:30. Took me 20 minutes to get down and the food was gone/being put away when I got there. Request a room as far away from the elevator as possible, it's helps a tiny bit. Overall, it's been a pretty miserable experience. Not planning on staying here ever again. I will note, however, that the staff it warm and nice, the rooms are very clean, and the showers are great. Other than that, it's a terrible hotel.

Very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. First, the room had to be ready for 4pm, we arrived at 5pm and it was not. We had to wait another 30 minutes before we were given one.
Second, the room with 2 double beds for 3 people is really very small. No room to circulate, no storage and very small bathroom.
Then we had to claim toilet paper which was not reloaded in the morning at the time of cleaning. The same for towels whose number decreased daily. Plus when you claim you really feel like you're shitting them. It's still the basics…
The elevators are to be avoided if you did not want to spend your day waiting for them. Luckily we were on the 3rd floor so the stairs were not exhausting. I pity the customers of the high floors…
The room window was poorly insulated. We felt the wind and the cold blowing in the room.
Thanks to the quies balls that allowed us to sleep despite the assoudissant noise of the heating.
We had a problem with clogged toilets at 6:30 in the morning (why? We don't know — after all this can happen) ; I told the front desk that the teams were not arriving before 8:00 and that in the meantime there was no solution. We waited in the room until 10:00, without seeing anyone coming. We ended up going out of the hotel to enjoy the day. When we got back, the toilet was in the market. I hope that nothing urgent happens in this hotel outside of office hours because otherwise it is the galley.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is located very close to attractions, for walks, shopping, museums and downtown Manhattan.

Great location if you need a place to stay for the hospital at Mt. Siani West (Roosevelt). Rooms are on the smaller side (like all of New York) but there is an extensive breakfast available. Rates are comparable for Midtown. They are willing to accommodate late check-out for the hospital which was the help we need. For travelers, the location is in Midtown which makes it accessible to Manhattan without being in the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Trains are a few about 2 and a half avenues away (8th Ave).

Small rooms and noisy air conditioning.

Can anyone tell me how high the resort fee for 7 nights in March 2018 fails?
Or is there none? Also, demand in the hotel led to no response.

When we come to the City we normally stay Jersey side. We brought a group of 21. The stay was EXCELLENT! The staff took care of us like no where we have ever stayed! The rooms are perfect. If you’re looking for “family” in NYC, then this is the place for you!

It is in a quiet area of the city, but walking distance to Central Park. Room is clean and modern. Bathroom is great, but the water does leak out from the sliding glass door. Room is quiet and the bed was comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel twice, and I have no complaints.

I meet a potential employer for an interview. We met and spoke in the lobby. It was clean, free Wi-Fi, nicely decorated. Over all I had a good experience.

Extremely noisy hotel even for NY. Never again!

A perfect spot for our Disney Cruise. We were. 2 miles from the ship and there is a quite a nice free breakfast. Rooms are small as are most hotel rooms in NYC. I like that it is close but more in a neighborhood not right on times sq or Columbus Circle —

They have the friendliest staff and provide great customer service. I was just back after two months away and they remembered me by name. The location is great as well. Easy access to so many areas.

This hotel is great! I have never stayed anywhere with staff like they have here! From the minute you walk in until the minute you leave you feel like family. When you ask the staff a question they are all hands on deck to make sure you get all the accurate and helpful information they have, while also making sure other guests are being helped as well. The rooms are small (as should be expected in New York), they are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The free breakfast included in your stay is above and beyond what I or my family expected from a free breakfast. The location of this hotel is a great also, a quick 5 minute walk to Central Park, tons of restaurants in the area, lots of coffee shops (we loved this in the morning), it was easy to walk most places and catch a train when something wasn't walk-able. We could not have been happier staying here, no complaints!

Rooms are very small, their suite for 2 people was a crush. The bathroom door was bigger then the bathroom. It was clean and new and the staff was well trained. Great gym and location is great. The entrance to the lobby difficult for luggage as you need to use ramps to get into the lobby.

Great location. The staff is the best in the area. Robert at the front desk and Tania cuddles for your detailed service and professionalism. Although the rooms are small the view and cleanliness make you feel right at home. This worked out excellent for my business trip. Will be back!

The ups: Staff was great, accommodations were also good. Had a great conversation with a couple of the front desk associates. Also free breakfast was great! Clean rooms and rest of hotel. The downsides: the location is awkward and away from everything popular, also it is kind of hidden. Rooms are small. And on the breakfast our first day you had no pork sausage but only veggie sausage? Why not serve both? No one eats veggie sausage All in all I would stay here again.

The staff were really friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. The hallway near the elevator was a pretty tight fit, especially when you have several people with luggage. The rooms were quite small too, but they were nice! Definitely clean and thoughtfully done.

Staff was friendly. Room was beautiful and immaculate. The free breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. The room wasn't spacious but there was a king sized bed and it's NYC so… Yeah. 5 stars for this place.

We stayed at this hotel for a night with 2 adults and 2 children. Melissa and Steven at the front desk were awesome! We were tired and cranky and they helped make our day so much better. Melissa worked to get us into our room early so that we could shower and enjoy the city. Steven was there to assist us as well. They were upbeat and happy and that really helped get us out of our cranky pants and ready for a fun day exploring. Thank you!

Super location to the West and Central Park. Daniel was spot on with his recommend restaurant, The Rin. The rooms are super small, but very clean. Breakfast is way more than normal hotels. Great happy hour at the bar also. Would stay on my next visit.

My family had a great stay at the hotel. The front desk staff was the best, welcoming my family and making sure everyone was taken care of, while I was delayed on a later flight. Night staff was the best, especially after arriving very late, thanks Daniel! Breakfast staff was nice and attentive. The hot breakfast was great, way more choice than the usual continental breakfast. Overall the staff made sure to answer all our questions and were nice and had a great sense of humor. Thanks! It made our stay wonderful and very enjoyable.

Clean, very good lunch. By cons very small room for 4 people. Room not ready for our arrival. Possession of the room only at 17.00 instead of 3.00 pm. 2 hours of waiting. Service OK.

We stayed for a long weekend with another couple. The place is nice, new and clean and the free breakfast is quite good. The AC is rather loud (at least in our room) and there is a significant wait for elevators in the morning. I think the hotel could manage the elevators better.

Room was clean and modern. Breakfast is very good each morning — you can get virtually anything. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was a bit noisy due to the A/C. Other than that, great hotel!

They acting nice but never do anything. I want a double bed and call three times and go there ask again but still never give it to me because I book at Hotwire. They don't have patience to listen to what you said. The alert clock ringing at 6:30 woke everyone and make wire sound from bathroom. The shower water not stay at the temperature you set. Sometimes cold and sometimes very hot. Room very tiny. You better check out on time because they will ask you to leave even 15 minutes or half hour more. The Location is middle of no where. Book 4 stars hotel, just pay a little more to make you trip and your family happy.

Robert, the Morning Manager is awesome! I had an employee of mine visiting New York with his family for the the first time. I called up and spoke to Robert and asked for his assistance in doing something nice for this guy and his family. Robert was very helpful and you can tell it was genuine! You guys have a great Manager in Robert! Thanks again for your help sir. They loved it!

Very good location and comfortable.

The people who work there are very friendly and I alludaron a lot. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are very clean too. It is not treated breakfast yet but it is free. Finally, the bar has good prices.
