All would be well but hiding the resort tax in the wilds of the booking is too, not that the overpayment of $30 so hit the purse, but still very mean hotel when does not show the final price.

We booked a studio room for 2 nights on the tail end of our Xmas holiday stay in NYC. We don't normally spend too much time on this side of town but found it okay for 2 nights. The bathtub was large and relaxing, the seating area of the small studio room was cute. Our room was quiet, although I see a lot of the reviews do complain about noise, I did not experience any. Service was great, though I had a bit of trouble talking to the front desk attendant who felt the need to double talk to us for some reason. (Meaning she explained things twice. ) In the end, it was a bit out of the way for some of our friends who reside mostly in Brooklyn to visit, even at the allure of the hotel bar and a Stark-designed place… but we had a nice stroll in Central Park and appreciated the stay. Now, if our studio room was small, I can't imagine what the regular rooms are like! I hope that the charm makes up for the size at least!

For the price and the area it is great as it is close to central park, grocery stores, and a subway station. The staff were also very nice and helpful all the time. We got the superior room and we felt it was kinda small but overall it was OK. One thing is that I couldn't find an appropriate place to smoke an occasional cigarette; supposedly you can in the terrace/patio but I found it closed all the time, the other option the staff gave me was outside the main entrance but I found no-smoking signs all over the hotel, as well as no place to drop the ashes. Overall my experience was nice and every time I needed something they would help me and would probably stay again!

I'm a native New Yorker and I love to visit the bars at this hotel. They each have a different feel. My favorite is the Library bar with fire place and leather couches. Cocktails are pricey, but delicious. You' re paying for the atmosphere. In the warm months there's an outdoor space and a bar/grill to provide for beverage and culinary needs. Check it out.

Beautiful and bustling hotel in the heart of New York, just a minutes walk from the south side of Central Park. Super friendly and always helpful staff that went out of their way to make sure your stay was as pleasant as possible. The rooms are nice, but there is not much room in the standard size, barely enough for one person let alone two if you are traveling with suitcases. I'd recommend upgrading to the premium and studio suites… much bigger and more suitable, especially if you need a room big enough for a bride to get ready. Also, an extra added bonus is that you have $10 credit everyday of your stay until checkout to put towards your food and drink bill. The cocktail bar is very good, and the burger bar and complimentary breakfast (if booked in advance with your hotel booking) in the main bar, is exceptional! A great mix of hotel guests that made our stay that little bit more enjoyable. There is also the outside area on the lonby floor which is a nice sun trap. There was a rooftop terrace, but unfortunately was under renovation when we arrived, so hopefully you'll get to experience it and let us know what it's like. There are local shops and underground markets nearby (just check with the ever helpful concierge). Pricey, like most of NY, but you'll enjoy the perks and views, but most importantly the experience.

So the hotel lacked polite staff, a decent size bedroom & bathroom. It was extremely expensive for what it was. Advertised on their website was a rooftop terrace bar but it is now not there it’s under ‘refurb’ the terrace had all dead plants & the front outside had scaffolding with dead planters out the front. Appalling hotel with a lack of politeness to customers. Never would go back in a million years. Just to add the bath was disgusting enamel has come off & has a material curtain. This hotel is not 4 Star but I’d say a 1 star. Thank goodness London knows how to provide a decent size hotel room with lovely bathrooms.

Lobby, terrace and restaurant very nice. The location is great too. On the other hand the rooms… in any case mine was the smallest room I had during my multiple trips. It's hardly possible to be standing next to the bed. In the bathroom, shower, WC and washbasin touch… But it's clean, no big flaw apart from the space as reported just above.

A very average hotel. Small rooms. In Europe it does not reach a three stars and in Spain does not give two. Lacking in cleanliness and services.

Quite small room but perfectly adequate. Bathroom was already easy to come in the years. Perfect location on Central Park and Columbus Circle. Staff was very helpful and helped us with the return transfer well.

It's very good. I like the atmosphere, on Friday and Saturday they have disco and you listen to the music throughout the hotel reception.
The cleaning service is good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is very nice, like the breakfast service which is very complete.
The But you find them in the rooms, especially the bathroom, that to sit in the toilet you could hardly because they touched my knees with the wall opposite.
In addition to this, the heating makes a tremendous noise.

Great location for the price. Close to Central Park, Broadway theaters, and Hell's Kitchen restaurants and bars. Pseudo-trendy. Responsive, professional staff. Negatives: teeny tiny rooms and bathrooms, showers never seem to work well (and I've stayed here many times), lots of street noise and HVAC noise, and elevators can take forever at times. I'm leaning 3-star but have to acknowledge that many people like this place solely because of the price and location. Just not my personal favorite.

We stayed here for a last minute trip. Mainly we chose because of the massive discount given on room rates (50 percent less in some cases to our usual stays). The hotel is very different than advertised and would have stayed in our normal hotel choices had we known. This is great for younger people who really don't care much about the room but are glad to have a place to stay, very much like a hostel feel. Rooms are very tight and small even in a deluxe. Bathroom in our initial room was almost unusable with toilet literally touching both walls. We asked to switch rooms and the other room was more usable. Lobby is nicely done although the club is located across the hall and is very noisy at night. Hallways seemed to be outdated to the last remodel of the hotel. Overall it didn't ruin our trip staying here but cant say we will be back.

Elegant and very youthful… Alternative environment… Even for an evening at the Pub. Or to eat at the bar in a disco atmosphere.

Hotel is very different to what is advertised. The rooms are really tiny. The bathroom is even smaller. Two people can't be in the bathroom together. If you sit in the toilet, your knees touch the wall. A person in the shower can't come out if someone is sitting on the toilet seat. The hotel rooms have a hostel like feel to them. The reception is nice and decorated well but not the rooms.

The location was perfect. It was right behind columbine circle station and Central Park. The hotel had great ambiance, but the rooms were very small. You barely can fit 2 people properly. Probably would have stayed again if the rooms were a little bigger!

The air conditioner does not work, or it came out hot or cold. There was No shutters, the light went in. Poor predisposition of the staff. It looks like a public office for the massive and constant circulation of people in the hallways and the bad predisposition to communicate from their employees. Expensive and bad the bar.

We just finished our first vacation in New York.
After multiple searches on the internet we booked at the Hudson Hotel for 6 nights including breakfast in a standard double room.
-Great location: a stone's throw from Central Park, Metro and T. S-friendly and helpful staff-really very very small but comfortable room. Having so little space is a must for a bit of strategy and organization to store the luggage.
-Bathroom (in room) very very small but also comfortable while being essential.
-Excellent cleaning of the room, the bathroom, bed and linen change every day-excellent breakfast buffet (sweet and savory) — common areas very beautiful, fragrant, with pleasant music in the background, dim lights and New York atmosphere that Will make you fall in love with your journey.

So it's definitely not a luxury hotel. I would give the house 3 stars, especially since the rooms are extremely tiny even for New York conditions. It just fits the bed in the room.

Small but fine room. For New York — ratios absolutely fine. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Great location and easy access to the subway network. Outside the room, in the foyer, lounges etc. Clean and very tastefully decorated. The staff were very helpful.

Stayed 6 nights with 2 kids (8 & 10) in a Deluxe Double Double. The room was big enough for 4. The double beds were comfortable but snug for 2 average adults. There was a shortage of clothing storage space but ample room to leave or use suitcases on the floor. The buffet breakfast was included in our pricing. It was a little exorbitant $28 when not included. Great front desk staff. The bar was busy but not bumping. A great place to grab a quick drink. Great location though the traffic and construction on 9th can make it noisier.

The hotel is super comfortable with access and easy to get around in the city. It has comfortable spaces, for example a pub, a cafeteria a beautiful garden.
The room is super small, so you pay it is only for location, but if it is for sightseeing it is ideal.

The location was great and the hotel was very nice. Staff very friendly. The rooms are very small but the only problem is that you can watch the bathroom immediately, as there is only one glass pane! A white transparent curtain does not help a lot, so you should only go with people in front of whom you want to take a shower or a toilet;) Breakfast also okay but very one sided (were 10 days since every morning the same)

Excellent location. You can walk to many places (Times Square, top of the rock, met, Central Park, etc). Very quiet and clean.

Very good value for money. The rooms are small but you don't need more if you go sightseeing. Great atmosphere, very good restaurant.

Beautiful entrance hall and breakfast room (besides the breakfast is very friendly and ample enough! ) however the room is tiny with an even more tiny bathroom! It feels really cramped! Our bathroom door no longer closed and the cleanliness really leaves a lot to be desired.

Modern hotel with cosy and very design rooms. They are small but well appointed and fast hot which, given the NY weather in winter is a plus. Reception with polite employees but no more. Bar and Restaurant very nice and with a good choice to start an evening.

Good service in a unique ambience. Our room is small but practical and clean. The bed is ideal for two people. Clothes racks could be more available, but okay. All in all perfect location. Na at Central Park, close to the TS. You're just in the middle of Manhattan's life.

The staff were very friendly. Beautiful place, damage to the personal level that does not care for customers. It took 3 days for the staff to give us the Wi-Fi code. Receptionist who doesn't understand what you're asking.

Apparently this used to be a Grand Hotel with a busy and popular bar and one of the places to go stay and party in New York City. The bar is now part of the lobby hi, and the place itself has lost any semblance of being a Quality Hotel. Though the room was clean very small and I and quite plain, the most disturbing part of the stay there was the lack of Hospitality both formal and informal amongst the staff. My car was parked in a garage at the cost of $78 per night, and retrieving it involved me speaking into four different individuals that before a call could be made to get my car,. I went to the front desk was coffee cold to go to the concierge and told me to go see the bellhop you told me to go to the front desk when the call is fine with me bellhops assistant who is very cool in fact was very nice it took approximately one hour for my car to appear it even though it was parked 1/2 block away and was in Easy viewing distance of the hotel. They Hotel offers no room service other than cleaning your room and is far from. High quality in any regard. The overhead Glass ceiling is covered with for IVoh, there's some amusing pieces of pottery Etc and some interesting chairs in the lobby but nothing cohesive nor good about the place.

Chic Hotel in the centre of Manhattan. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit small but cozy.

The lobby is essentially in a night club. So anytime you just wish you leave the hotel at night or talk to the front desk for help you are in a night club. The room was microscopically small. The business center was falling apart and everything was broken/ stolen. Parts of the hotel were randomly about 90 degrees like the heat was broken and wouldn’t shut off and no one cared to look into it. The gym was falling apart and the equipment was not maintained so the treadmills barely moved. Very clear that they are doing the legal bare minimum to operate a hotel and no additional work. Why does Google have this listed as a 4 star hotel? Shame on them, I trusted them when booking this hotel, it is certainly a 2 or 1 Star hotel.

We got to the surprise room… open the door and it was already occupied! Room too small and bathroom microscopic… prices too high 36 dollars a day for tourist tax…! Recommended.

Kind of a weird place. When you first enter it you'll see a small room with two neon green escalators. Climbing them gets you to a night club, loud music, beer and all that. The ceiling is covered with some plant and there is this dark night club ambiance. There is also a front desk. The hallways are dark, doted by neon green doors, and the rooms are a bit small, but comfortable enough of all you want is a place to sleep. It honestly feels like somebody watched some 80s futuristic movie while designing the place. Blade Runner, maybe. Other than that, so far I had a pretty nice stay. Location is great and the staff seems eager to help you if you need.

Well located Hotel, good price quality, it is very nice in the common areas, deck recordings and a good bar. The only downside is the rooms, which are beehive type, too small for my liking, but you have to take into account the situation and its economical price for the city of New York.

The rooms are not contelled at all with the hotel lobby or the common areas. They are girls, the heating is noisy and the bathroom has no dividing wall to the room, it has a glass screen and an almost transparent curtain. The attention is very good and the cleanliness also.

The space Hal is, along with the bar and restaurant one of the most beautiful things in the hotel. The rooms in fact, in addition to being a little ' older and little cared for cleanliness, are also quite small. The bathroom, in my case, was comfortable with a bath-shower with a decent tent but not appropriate to the cost of the room. Little room for luggage. The young staff available is wonderfully New Yorker assisted us in our every request. It is a place close to Central Park ideal for those who like to do the walks or jogging in the early morning. Close there is everything and more, as is the rest in every part of the Big Apple. I would go back because I am sure the hotel rooms will be refurbished within a short time.

The super hotel is clean and tidy! And a very good location!

Were here just before Christmas. The staff was very friendly, breakfast can be better and cheaper in the area. The burger was good though and also the price OK.
Big drawback are the rooms, with the size you can live, if the bathroom would be half a metre larger, on a cruise ship cabins are also no bigger. What is not at all is that you can look from the bed through a glass pane into the bathroom! There's a thin curtain, but that's really stupid. Our room also had little light, the air conditioning is right at the head end of the bed, we didn't need it, so we always had a quiet night. The room cleaning was also not what you could expect.

Conclusion: Do not compare with a 4 star hotel in Germany.

Very good location. Staff on request to non-working fan in mini bath very rude. On the 3rd day the room was still not made at 6pm. Room was too cold. Was the second time in the Hudson for sure the last time. Knew it differently from the first visit.

Crap. Nothing to do with the pictures. Small rooms, bad service, bad deal. They do not offer double bed, or if they do at exorbitant prices. The bathroom was horrible. Value for money a robbery. Not recommended.

My third visit to Manhattan and a really pleasant stay. A really clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. The room was a little small but not too small to be uncomfortable. It was a perfect base for a 4 day tourist visit.

Positive: The lobby makes a wonderful first impression. The staff is very friendly. The location of the hotel is great. Negative: The wonderful first impression unfortunately flies quickly. The rooms are really small, hardly any storage space for the suitcase contents, so a person has to live out of the suitcase. Due to the ventilation it draws extremely in the room. The bathroom is very cramped, a stay for two is not possible. The breakfast buffet is very good. It is not varied, it is the same every day. There are no vegetables at all. But if you like, you can have a burger for breakfast… Of course it costs extra. On the whole, one should not have too high expectations. It's a good place to stay here, you're just for sleeping anyway.

Dwarf room. 300 USD check-in. Wifi 15 USD Day. But unbeatable situation.

Our stay at the Hudson New York was great. We arrived early and even though the hotel had been fully booked the night before, the very friendly front desk staff rearranged things to get us into our room well before the standard check in time. The room was small, as we expected (it's NYC after all). However, the room was designed to maximize space with large mirrors on the walls, so the size wasn't an issue. The location is great (about a block from Columbus Circle and Central Park, and about 15 minutes walk to Time Square). We will definitely stay again.

Hotel in itself clean and tidy but with very narrow and not particularly nice rooms… we were in November and in the room it was cool, made this to the staff nothing has changed… After booking the room with a one year old, we had to ask several times for a sunbed and was brought with not even a sheet a blanket or a pillow… The hotel is presented very well and with 4 stars but it has nothing of a 4 star… Breakfast very poor just some mini brioches a bit of eggs and ham, just cold milk… They charged us with extra breakfasts that were included on the reservation, which is why we had to block the payment on the card and open a litigation (since they charge $28 per day per person for breakfast) in short experience not of Best… Not recommended to those looking for a hotel with something more… It is good for those who have no claim R only back for oan't in the evening.

Fantastic hotel with good location and trendy bars where to dine or have a drink. There is a lot of staff, the Gym is free 24h and the Wi-Fi goes fast. The downside is that the rooms are very small! Spaces to which we are not accustomed in the hotels of Spain. It is still a good option to stay.

Nice staff and that's about it. I hated this hotel. It was dark, dank and the halls reminded me of a welfare hotel turned "trendy hotel". Gray walls, Gray carpet was just ugly lipstick on an already ugly pig. And yes the other reviews about the size of the room are correct. If you're alone, you can make it work but not if you're with another person. The wood paneling in the rooms is nice and I'm sure used to cover what was probably too terrible to fix. That was a good choice. I will admit that I have not tried the restaurants here. The whole place just left me dissatisfied that I didn't even want to try them.

The reception is nice and nice but somewhat obscure… Bad rooms for two people are small the furniture in poor condition! Advantages Central Parking Nearby, just like the metro and shopping mall. It is an expensive hotel you are paying for the location.

Well located hotel, but then… Double bed is 1, 40 m. Rooms from 15:00 H not ready. We had a room where the air conditioning was not going. The Syphon of the sink dripped extremely, the faucet of the toilet flush also leaked and then the night at the toilet gang, cockroach!
The next morning we complained, OK new room. When we got back to the hotel at 17:00 H, nothing was fixed yet. After an intensive conversation with the manager we got another room with a large double bed 2 m, although it was said the day before, they have a maximum of 1, 60 m beds.
In the public area the toilets are filthy and at one the rinse did not work. In the Umami restaurant it is also cute and there are no cold soft drinks here, only warm and alcohol at genuinely salted prices.
From us no further recommend.

People seem to be complaining about the size of the room. You don't go to New York to stay in your room it's big enough. The staff on the desk where really helpful and funny. Always believe in good customer service and this place has it. Location is brilliant, next to central park and the subway. 5 — 10 minutes walk to Times Square. Couldn't complain, would recommend to anyone and if coming back wouldn't hesitate to book here. Great value for money keep it up!

For the first time in NY, the location of this hotel is perfect for juggling Central Park, Time Square, Broadway and various museums.
The lobby is spectacular, like all the rooms of the hotel-on the 15th floor there is a spectacular panoramic terrace.
The room is really tiny: the living space is reduced to a minimum. Two medium trolleys cannot be opened at the same time. They must be placed in the tiny space that is "the closet".
The bathroom is even smaller. If you sit on the you have to keep your knees bent sideways because they don't fit! And I'm not a stretch. Bending slightly forward, you can comfortably lean with your head to the wall! The shower has a glass wall with a view of the room, closed by a transparent curtain on the other side. If you need total privacy, forget as well. You see everything!
On Booking no mention of the breakfast. In the reviews I had read that it was not plentiful but up there, no alarm. The first morning I found out that breakfast was not included and that it cost well $26 apiece and was really poor!
I recommend you find the nearest deli and have breakfast there. A coffee and a nice cinnamon roll!

Accustomed to European standards, for $250 a night, I expected sincerely much more. In the room there is not even a bottle of water!

Paid 250 for a single night in the smallest hotel room I’ve ever been in. The room had dark wooden panels and mirrors which made it look quite nice, and the mattress was good. I would have slept well had it not been for a cold draft from the window and street noise so clear I thought the window was actually open. Front desk sent up someone but as the window was closed, they couldn’t do anything. The bathroom had no hand soap, the paint on the shelves was chipped and the shower floor full of little black spots I first mistook for roaches. Turned out to be little holes. From the entrance to the reception, the air was perfumed with an awful stench that made me sneeze nonstop. One has to wonder what it’s supposed to cover. The only good things about the hotel was the location and the price. If those factors are all that matters to you, this is your hotel.

Nice bars (3), one with burger joint and loud music. Cool done. Nice exciting lobby. Very helpful staff. However, good the price the rooms are a bit small. Were hardly there anyway, but room for two normal suitcases can be expected. But the roof top bar is very relaxing with sunset. Unfortunately, everything is not a bargain. But that's okay. Reasonable quality is offered for this.

Very small room. Wall to the bathroom of glass so that when you visit the toilet at night, the entire room is brightly lit. The air conditioning was located directly behind the head of the bed — not a particularly thoughtful place. The stars are there for the good location.

Good location. Metro with lots of lines nearby. Deduction for small room. For sleeping it is enough… But the bathroom is outrageously small. You can hardly use the loo because it is so tight. Air conditioning directly above the head of the bed… suboptimal.

Great shared spaces, lobby, library bar, and beer hall are fun spots. Great drinks and atmosphere for couples or groups. Edit September 2017: Above is still true and the sky terrace is really nice. Room cleanliness is a growing issue. I found a grody old toe nail in my shower.

Small but elegantly efficient rooms. Everything we needed was in this compact space. The location was great, amenities were from a local firm and were exceptional, although if you don't like scented products, you might disagree. The bed was comfortable.

I only visited very briefly, but it was pleasant all around. The service was very friendly and kind. Utmost appreciation for that especially about letting us know where we were safe to park! The food was also very good and after our long drive it was much appreciated.

Conveniently located Hotel with 2 metro stations nearby, close to Central Park and Time Square. The staff were very helpful Only downside there is a hamburgheria in place of the restaurant.

We really enjoy this hotel, and you can't beat the location as far as we're concerned. The rooms are a bit small, but manageable for a reasonably priced hotel in this area. The only gripe I have is the elevators. There are 5 of them, but no matter when you are trying to use them, it takes forever to get to your floor. I'm not sure what is going on with them, but it definitely puts a damper in your day. Besides that, I would give it 5 stars because everything else is great!

Went to Umami Burger in the Hudson Hotel. The hotel itself had an interesting decor and the staff were all very friendly. The burger itself was really, really good. Meat was delicious and cooked just right at medium temp. Fixings were tasty as well. The bun was a little hard and chewy though.

Nice Hotel Great neighborhood, rooftop super nice and breathtaking view! Very nice staff! Only downside: The lighting of the hotel a bit dark. This is consistent with the general atmosphere, but that deserves a little more brightness!

Philippe Stark and Hudson Hotel… a winning binomial! The room with wooden finishing, very pretty; The bathroom and the room are separated by the glass of the shower… interesting detail! For the rest, the bathroom is very small and maybe a little dated but efficient. And, however, absolutely in line with what is proposed. The hotel offers one of NY's most charming roof gardens and is always a ' way-to-go ' of people… The strategic location (within walking distance of the Columbus Circle Metro), good value for money, the/bar library and the restaurants in which every palate, and at any time, can be satisfied…

Nice hotel. The location is great. Staff seemed helpful and pleasant. There are a few negatives: the rooms are super small (but I don't come to NY to spend a lot of time in the room) and it can get very noisy from the streets outside. If you remember to bring ear plugs you will be just fine. For me, the location makes up for the room size and noise.

Stayed here for work, and convenience to Columbus Circle was the reason I chose Hudson. Service was to be expected: very good most of the time, infrequently… less so. The space is beautiful and the bar/restaurant is great. The room and shower/bathroom are TINY, but this is Manhattan after all! Overall very enjoyable.

Location and staff are amazing. We had a blast at all of their bars and their drinks and beers are really well priced. And apparently Sesame Street was filmed here back in the day. The hotel has a lot of history and interesting stories.

The smallest room i've ever been in. Could barely find a space to put my bag down. Massively overpriced for what you get. Very loud air conditioning. Poor room layout due to size. Literally had to sit sideways on the toilet because the wall was where my knees should go. I've had more space in airplane restrooms. Friendly desk staff but rude bar/kitchen staff downstairs. Nice roof bar, but wasn't open during the hours it claimed to be so missed out. p. S. Couples beware — due to bizzare room layout/size, don't book this hotel unless you're comfortable listening to and watching each other go to the bathroom.

Has cozy hidden rooftop terrace bars and a palatial main bar. More comfortable/casual than many hotel bars. Upscale lounge was closed for my visit.

Came to stay for a few days prior to our cruise to Canada. The rooms are small but the prices were very reasonable given the location. The staff has been incredible and the décor is remarkable. I will definitely stay again and will recommend the hotel to others.

Amazing hotel. The lobby looks great and modern. Our room was clean but tiny (I guess it was huge for New York). Our trash wasn't cleared up one day, but that's all I can mention as negative. The rooftop terrace is great too, you can chill there and enjoy your time. The hotel is close to Columbus Circle, where you can basically reach any place in New York with the metro. Central park is about 5 minutes to walk, Times Square 10 minutes. You can bring your own food even though the hotel has a restaurant and eat on the terrace, noone will have a problem with that. Ask for Wi-Fi access, they will give it to you for free, if you don't ask it will cost you 15$/day orso. I can totally recommend the hotel.

After initial problems with our reservation, which were resolved quickly, we could start our Sightseintour. The hotel and the rooms are clean. In addition it very central which lies, all sights are walking distance.

It is a hotel with very small rooms, at least where we were, and the bathroom is even more small.
With a detail that we've never seen in our travels. One of the walls of the bathroom, is a window with glass traspat rent.

Very stylish and lively hotel. The rooms are very noisy on the lower floors large enough, but now! The conditions are moderately friendly… Also, an additional charge is levied on the spot.

At first glance, I was impressed. The lobby decor and the vibe gave one a sense of being trendy and maybe a little edgy. But when you encounter the terrible wait as their computer system is behind the times and the staff not so friendly nor helpful, the slow creeping realization dawns on you that yes, you've fallen for a classic bait and switch. What looked like a trendy upscale hotel quickly morphs into a surrealist brothel which only Franz Kafka could have imagined. Its nightmarish neon green theme only adds to the nauseous dread and you contemplate asking for a refund. Yes. It does have the proper amenities, but the ambience is truly horrendous.

A fantastic stay in a stylish boutique. There is an air of relaxation and tranquility around the premises combined with a friendly and helpful staff made for a wonderful stay. The rooms are quaint in size but offer a luxurious ambiance.

Extremely small rooms and extremely loud. Not only is the noise from outside very audible, the heater, which is right behind the headboard, was so loud (clanging metal pipes), I woke up every time it came on and I'm a heavy sleeper. The bathroom is so little, my knees squish against the wall when I sit on the toilet. (I'm only 5'6. ) Bugs on the ceiling of the shower. Smells of mildew. Worst sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Staff is not very friendly.

The main lobby and bars are very nice but when you get up to your room, it's small, which is manageable but the worst part is the heating system. It's such an old building and you can tell when you put the heat on. We had to switch our rooms because we got no sleep from the very noisy pipes. Plus the windows are very thin you can hear everything; wind, cars, ambulance, Etc.

BARS ONLY: Great spaces! Drinks are expensive but there are a couple different bar areas here and they're all top notch. Reserve a table and enjoy yourself.

Very good hotel. In a privileged place. The only thing not to coffee that is the worst. Else is incredible.

Small, clean and well equipped rooms, friendly staff.

I have several times visited NYC, and this hotel is truly astounding. Its decor, its location and undoubtedly moved and original atmosphere. It is a site that looks like a nightclub or a bar all the time. It is not a quiet place, but if in doubt to who goes to NYC in search of a fun, moved environment is ideal. Not recommended if you go with children. Actually the rooms are very small, which is also an experience. It has no waste. It is not for nothing a traditional hotel.

Small but nice rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Super location on Central Park and the subway station Columbus Cirquel. From here, you have a good connection in almost all directions. There is a cozy rooftop bar on the 15 floor. All FIFA World Championship game were transferred. Price / performance ratio for NYC Manhattan absolutely in order. For breakfast, I recommend the morning star restaurant. This is just around the corner at 9 Avenue.

A very well organized hotel with a staff and biased. Its common areas are beautiful. The rooms are small but with good use of the space.

A perfect location!

Normal 2 star class. Motel one (Germany) is as far better. But for NY (and United States), price, performance and general standard is okay. There are far worse hotels. Good another option around the corner are the AKA's apartment.
