We had gone there and ate at the restaurant. The food was cooked excellent. The waitress was decent. We are staying at the Ramada Inn. We did not think go to the Best Western to stay. Thank you for the great service. .

Conveniently located at the airport, extremely friendly service and good food. Quick airport shuttle to and from hotel. Beautiful outdoor pool. Nice warm breakfast selection included with room price. Can't give a full 5 star due to lack in cleanliness. Ideal choice over a quick business trip.

I recently booked a room and stayed there on Monday… 6/11/18 for a concert I, my daughter in law, and granddaughter attended. I am an avid concert goer and have stayed at a lot of hotels… but this place was the worst as far as cleanliness! The entire room looked as though it had not been dusted in weeks! Not to mention the mirror hanging in bed area was so dirty you could barely see yourself in it! And the dust and papers on floor behind the headboard of bed and night stand. Were totally discusting and unacceptable for a hotel I paid good hard earned money for! If it hadn't been so late at night after our concert. I would have grabbed my kids and left… but had no choice but to stay considering we needed a place to sleep! Room#134… 6/11/18 … to the hotel staff… shame on you for booking rooms to people spending hard earned cash… for such filth. Cleaning crew should be fired! Let's just hope we didn't bring home bedbugs! Posting some photos of some of the filth!

Hotel was easy to find despite ongoing traffic in area. The walls seemed very thin, and the hotel seemed to be completely full, so the night was very noisy. Breakfast starts at 4AM which was perfect for early flights. The shuttle also begins at 4:15 and that worked out nicely.

This place was a slum. I literally thought the bugs would eat me if I slept. I got stuck overnight due to a flight issue so I couldn't go. I didn't feel unsafe, it was just very old, very dirty, small and outdated. Couldn't believe the cost per night. Wouldn't have stayed there if I was paying for it and almost went someplace else anyway. Avoid this place like the plague.

Kurt was curt! We prepaid for the entire reservation with loyalty points and credit card. Kurt, the check-in associate was insistent that we hadn't paid anything yet. He then call someone to confirm. We presumed that it was to BW headquarters but it turned out he called our home phone and of course, we weren't home. Ha! Luckily, a lady from the back office (name starts with a M? ) came out and resolved the issue in our favor but no apology from him for his mistake. Furthermore, he directed us to the restaurant steps away to get something to eat and when we kept knocking on the restaurant door, he didn't tell us the restaurant was closed! The room itself was old but clean. Breakfast was fine.

Clean and very standard. Staff was helpful with free shuttles to get to terminals. Breakfast was good. In general a good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

This is a great hotel to stay in, very quiet and quaint. The room is not that small, it's actually spacey. There is an Internet access computer in a front. There's also complimentary breakfast every morning however there is no water dispenser so you have to ask for the water in the morning. There is no gym. The staff is friendly and nice. The building itself and hallways are wide. There is also a bar that's open at night until late night. It's very close to the airport, they also have a shuttle that brings you to the airport on a schedule time.

It's decent and close to the airport. Rooms could use some updating and air circulation because the rooms can be real warm even in the winter. The A/C units are on auto only and are super loud when they finally kick on. Doors and walls aren't sound proofed well enough, can hear everything going on in the halls and doors slamming.

This hotel was overall in poor condition. I was recommended by American Airlines and if given a choice I would not have stayed and for sure will never stay again. The sheets are paper thin, old and linty. The room smelled weird. The chair in my room (239) was covered in spots and stains. I found someones hair in my bed and the sheets were wrinkled as though they hadn't been changed, just remade. The people at the desk acted as thought they didn't care about anything. When I voiced that I was not happy with the room and wanted to leave less than an hour after checking in, the woman tried to nickel and dime me saying I'd have to pay $45 even though I had barely touched anything in the room. Service was awful. (Except for the young lady on night shift, she was awesome and sweet). For the same price I could have stayed at a better hotel just a little bit farther away from the airport and actually enjoyed my experience. Also in the future, take into consideration that you are next to an airport and that customers may need to check out at odd times. I asked if I could check out a few hours after checkout, because my flight left at 7 pm. I was again told $45 for 5 hours, as thought the room was even worth that. In short… there's a lot of work that needs to be done. I'd rather stay in a college dorm room than this place again.

Our stay here was fantastic! We finally found a place that takes larger size dogs. The wonderful gentleman at the front desk was amazing! He did everything he could to make our stay there the best possible experience we could have. Thank you!

One staff member and one manager confided that they have had consistent issues with customers complaining about "half cleaned rooms, " and stated that the General Manager knows about these frequent issues but is not pushing down on making sure that cleaning staff changes the sheets after each stay. I had perfectly folded sheets but an orange spill that made it on both the sheet and the night stand which means it was likely made by the person who stayed in the room before me. They did just enough to make the room look clean, but did not pay attention to the STAIN on my sheets. How frequently do they do this and the customer doesn't notice because they aren't fortunate enough to have had a stain on the sheet to tell them. While the manager went to grab me sheets the young girl at the counter confided that this keeps happening and management won't force the cleaning staff to do better. The manager came back and escorted me to my room. Once there, he said "Not to cast blame, but we don't receive a lot of support from our General Manager. This is really awkward for me to keep doing, but our GM won't let anyone crack down on cleaning staff. " End of story: Don't go here. The General Manager is probably encouraging cleaning staff to skip cleaning sheets to cut costs. No matter why it is happening — that's confirmation from 2 employees that they don't clean their sheets.

Super convenient location. Within easy walking distance to airport. Hotel restaurant was outstanding. Delicious prime rib.

The Best Western Inn Syracuse is located right next to the airport. They understand the busy traveler and are willing to accommodate. Their services have extended hours for early flight departures and parking is handy. Staff greets and answered questions quickly. A helpful and efficient place to stay.

I got a last minute reservation, the reservation process was exceptional. The check in was easy, the surroundings pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. No problems with the internet. Had a delicious and enjoyable dinner at the in-house restaurant before retiring for the night. I received my wake up call on time, easy check out, and caught the 5:00 AM shuttle to the airport. This was an exceptional stay, the staff was friendly and outgoing, everything fell into place perfectly, I will be staying there again on my next trip.

Location is key here. Warm in cold weather On site restaurant shuttle to airport and parking in lot for your vehicle are some benefits. Have used the extended parking option before without issues. Breakfast with extended hours. Business center also.

A terrible experience. I’ll make it short. -hair in sink and floor -heating unit would cut out in middle of the night. Would wake up freezing, had to get up and manually restart it -cold eggs in the morning -I booked the hotel to be able to leave my car while I fly out. Tell me they can’t accomodate it this week but never told me that when I made the reservation. Although I stay in many many hotels, this is the first time I felt the need to write a review.

I was very disappointed (and surprised) to learn the hotel has no elevator. It was difficult lugging a 40 pound bag up and down a flight of stairs. The bed in room 207 was extremely creaky. Every time one sat on it or rolled just slightly it creaked horribly and made for a restless sleep — I encourage management to go up to that room and sit on it. Either the mattress or box spring needs replacing ASAP. The toilet paper is impossible to reach unless you are a contortionist. The sound of the planes was not disturbing at all and I wouldn't have really known I was at an airport. Only one very tiny bottle of shampoo is given but the girl at the desk did supply me with more when I asked. Two sinks are nice, but a towel bar is needed at the toilet sink, as well as soap for both sinks. The hotel is convenient and staff were pleasant, but I would look elsewhere next time.

This place needs a serious remodeling. It's old and outdated. The room we stayed in smelled like mildew. The server we had in the restaurant was not pleasant at all and was in fact rude. On a positive note-the food was good and the guy at the front desk came in quickly to fix the issue with our tv/remote. Definitely some time and money needs to be dedicated to this place to bring it up to date.

Clean, comfortable inn closest to SYR terminal. We arrived late and found the restaurant open until 10pm. Good supper and large selection on the free breakfast items. Room decor is dated from the 70's, Formica counters, older style tiles and tub, etc, but all well maintained. Easy parking and access. Friendly check-in and restaurant folks. One cranky maid. Definitely we would stay there again.

My flight was cancelled/rebooked, so the airline provided a room for the night. The shuttle was very prompt, and the front desk worked very diligently to get our rooms assigned quickly since it was 10pm and we had a very early flight the next day. I don't know the price of the room so I can't comment on if it was a great value, but it sufficed for what we needed. Continental breakfast was typical selections, bagels were nice and fresh.

We have stayed here before and will continue to. We are able to bring our dog and you would never know this hotel allows dogs. The rooms are clean and tidy. Even though the hotel is located at the airport, it is extremely sound proof and I didn't notice flights during our stay. The food is nothing to write home about but that is expected. Since our last stay, the booths in the dining area have been redecorated and it makes a huge difference. However, after taking the time to do this, the TV on the wall is the same one that has a huge black blob in the middle of the screen while on. This hotel needs to update that as well. As from last time, we enjoy staying at this location and will again.

Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was nice with a good variety of choices. The only thing that I had an issue with was the beds. We had a room with 2 double beds, but the beds were actually full size not double. As I am taller this caused my feet to be over the end. But the bed was comfortable otherwise.

Had a canceled flight due to weather and was put up at the Best Western near Syracuse (Hancock) airport. Staff was very obliging, pleasant and accommodating; room was small but comfortable. We were given a special rate because of the flight cancelation. It was affordable but under the circumstances, since this was a very unexpected expense, it could have been a much better, lower rate. Also, this motel once offered free parking if you spent the night there and then departed for the airport (free shuttle provided). Shuttle to and from the airport is still offered but the free parking is no longer in effect though parking there is cheaper than the enclosed parking the airport offers.

If you have an early morning flight out of Syracuse, NY this is where you want to stay! The entire staff and operation is organized to make that 6:00AM airline departure easy. The computer is readily available to complete check in, breakfast starts at 4:00 AM to make sure you leave with a full stomach, and the shuttle takes you to the door of the airport. To top that list is a staff very well versed in exactly how long it will take to you go through each step of the process and make sure you will be at your gate ready for departure. We feel we have found an absolute gem.

Old, my door did not work well. Mattress seemed very old. No elevator. Very convient 5 minute walk to airport.

Decent place in a convenient spot!

Staff was friendly, room was clean, conveniently located near the airport. The only drawback was shower remodel was done poorly. There is a plastic insert over the old tub but it is warped and makes a lot of noise when you step on it.

For the service, value, comfort and convenience — this BW would be hard to beat! I missed my flight home and had to stay at the hotel but the BW staff made me feel right at home! :)

You can't beat the convenience and the location of this in relation to the airport.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Living in the north county one can always predict the weather as unpredictable. Have always driven by on the way to the airport. Since our flight was at 545 in the morning… it was easy. Checked in the night before, the staff was very pleasant and the room was perfect. Will stay again!

I have never reviewed a hotel before, but my experience here was uniquely terrible, so here are my grievances and recommendations: 1. Upon entering the room (213), I noticed the heat was turned up to 85 and the air was very dry. I had a sore throat that got worse all night. Recommendation is to run a sink or the shower to increase the humidity, if you find your room in a similar condition. Do not expect the room to be comfortable upon arrival; it will probably be too hot and very dry. 2. Room 213 has a particularly noisy (~60 dB) heating and air conditioning unit that turns on every 5-7 minutes. One of the motors in the unit has a bad bearing that rattles in a rather annoying way. If you're a light sleeper, this can keep you awake quite effectively. Recommendation — avoid room 213. 3. The guests across the hall from us were making a ruckus louder than the HVAC unit. I left the room at half past midnight to get some salt to gargle for my throat, and one of the individuals in the other room happened to be exiting also. He asked, obliviously, "Sorry, are we keeping you up? " I replied that he was. Recommendation is to avoid this hotel if you want to avoid rude guests who don't understand that hotels, especially ones near airports, are for tired travelers who need to sleep. 4. When I asked for a customer survey card at the front desk the next morning, after sleeping for 2 hours, the receptionist looked at me like I was crazy.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast and on site dining room with good food. An older building, but well kept.

I've stayed here quite a few times over the years very convenient for am flight very nice staff food is very good.

I have stayed here several times over the years. It is very convenient if you have an early flight, and you can leave your car in their lot. Rooms are adequate. Shuttle is free and fast.

What a bad hotel. First room wasn't cleaned and had a dirty towel on the bed. Next room is about 30 years old. They don't even have an elevator. Go elsewhere.

The hotel is probably 40 years old and you can tell. The rooms look nothing like the picture. The worst part was the staff. The guy had tattoos on his neck and arms. The front desk had two teenage girls who are unprofessional. The manager was no where to be found. When I checked in they said they had a shuttle and wouldn't be problem to use service. The next day I called front desk and they said it wasn't their job to arrange shuttles (the teenage girls) and I needed to find the guy with tattoos on his neck. WOW! Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn down the street. Same price and the Hampton has true hotel service and accommodations. Good luck.
