The room seemed a little run down, but it was clean and otherwise looked exactly as pictured. The check in process was smooth andseamless. The front desk attendant (concierge? ) was polite and helpful. The front desk person at 3am was friendly and energetic for it being 3am. He was also the shuttle driver so it was a good thing there isn't much activity at that time. I would probably stay there again the next time I need a hotel near the airport.

For the price, this place provides great services, a diverse breakfast, and excellent amenities. I would definitely go again. Two thumbs up.

This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. I show up to check in and there was no receptionist at the desk, after ringing the bell several times I finally knocked on the open door to what I assume is the living quarters for the management. An elderly woman comes down but is unable to assist me and attempts several times to call someone to help before finally getting someone. I had requested a 'non-smoking pet friendly' room. When I get into my room (107) The first thing I notice is that the room does not smell clean, nor does it smell like it was non-smoking, further punctuating this fact is one of the beds had a burn hole in the sheets. The Microwave and mini fridge in the room were not clean, and the glass surfaces in the room looked like they were wiped down with a rag that was rinsed in mop water. The toilet was full of brown stains and the caulk/grout in the tub was falling out from the bottom row of tiles. And all the switch plates in the room were filthy. I have included pictures showing the state of the room, certainly not worth the $150USD / $190CDN I paid to stay. ($50 pet charge). I am considering canceling the remaining econo lodge reservations I have made for the remainder of my trip to my new post.

Room 109 Smells like mold and old food, staff seems bewildered, expensive.

This place went way beyond good Service. We had forgot out 2 tablets in our rental car. The rental is across the street. We were at air port (They have us a lift) I called all stressed out. The wonderful lady at front desk went and got them and brought to air port. I will defanatlly use them again if we are ever there again. AWESOME thank you.

Pet friendly quite clean suits my purpose just too far from downtown out of the use to stay at econo lodge on James street.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and close by everything.

Ideal place to crash if you traveling via Syracuse and need a place closer to I-81 near airport.

Holy s***, please if anyone is considering about staying here please do not waste your time. Took us about a half hour to get checked in to a pig stuy, the first room he gave us (room 111) had stains all over wall, bed, lamp, bathroom sink, burn holes in bed sheets, someone’s HAIR on the ground, I have pictures of everything also to bad you cannot post pictures in the review section. We complained and he gave us another room (room 106) which then looked worse same problems but even worse. Literally was the worst place and the fact me and my girl couldn’t even sleep there, left 2 hours after checking in. This place needs to be investigated immediately.

This hotel fit our needs as we passed through from Philadelphia to Ontario. Rooms were clean but obviously an older hotel with a mild renovation. Breakfast was acceptable with a waffle maker and muffins and cereal. Overall rating of three is accurate but shouldnt deter you from staying if you're working on a budget and are not too picky.

The employees and management were so kind and went beyond there duties to be sure I was taken well care off. The rooms have always been clean and have recently been remodel. I will keep coming back to this hotel because I am in the area 2x a month.

This was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in in my life because my room was infested with FLEAS! When I got there, I was so tired from my late flight that I laid on the bed, looking forward to a good night's sleep, but after a few mins, I noticed several black spots on my ankles… FLEAS! When I ran into the bathroom to jump in the shower, there were more on my ankles, crawling up my arms, and even a few clinging to the inside of my flip flops! I called the front desk to tell them my room was flea infested and the gentleman who checked me in was apologetic and offered me another room… in THAT hotel?! NO WAY! I called an Uber and got out of there as quick as I could! Also, the small lobby area REEKS of curry to a nauseating level. Horrible, filthy and unsanitary place that I wouldn't recommend to anyone!

If you are looking for a Marriott don't stay here, but if you want some place reasonably priced without bugs and clean this is a decent place. It is super old there are holes in the blankets and it has its maintenance issues. That said you cannot get nicer people even at the best of places! Somehow I ended up booking a wrong date (I think I left the site and came back and it automatically filled a date for a month away and I was unaware it changed it) they were more than happy to fix it to what I meant to book, with a smile on their face! Breakfast was decent and I didn't notice any obnoxious smells like there are at some older places. We only spent one night after we got in from the airport and before we go to our next destination, we felt welcome and they seem to legitimately listen to any concerns we had about the room, that's huge. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff was very pleasant and provided great customer service. The rooms are simple but clean. I'm glad we stopped here as they made our vacation all the more pleasant.

Room was dirty even after waiting for it to be cleaned. Nail clippings on floor, hair on toilet. Not happy!

The room was dirty. Holes in the walls. When we woke up we found ants all over the bed and the room. After finding that we got our stuff and got out of that place.

Econo Lodge is usually a good place to stay but not this one. Hair from previous tenants in blankets, specs of blood on sheets and walls near bed from bed bugs, hair on the shower walls from someone shaving, slow Wi-Fi, shower head shoots water every direction, the shower curtain stained, sink splashes water onto countertop even if barely turned on. Would not recommend this place.

The room smelled really bad. Linens worn out. Bad neighborhood and not any places decent to eat near. The lobby & common areas were dirty.

Unbelievable. I couldnt even make it through the booking part. These people have no idea what they are doing.

I can honestly say that this was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had to go through. Got in late, guy working behind desk had no idea what the hell he was doing, made it very difficult to check in. My room smelled like the toilet hadnt been flushed in about 2 weeks. I Had another group with me for like 20 minutes that was staying somewhere else — and get this — the manager called me, (I explained the situation) AND THEN came up to my room and told me that I would be charged $100 more dollars for guests. (a room is $60 so explain the logic in that) Again I explained that they were staying somewhere else. Just a very worthless establishment. I recommend any other hotel in the North Syracuse area, I even recommend the Lowe's parking lot over this "inn and suites". I dont normally write reviews, but when I do that means that you messed something up big time and that is what this hotel is all about.

No iron or board in room. Minimal towels. One bar of soap. Building is in need of renovation. Typical middle eastern owned flophouse if that's what you're looking for. If business, traveling in and out of the airport, not so much. $72 a night for a king. Cancelled my second night and stayed elsewhere.
