I felt like I should be paying for the room by the hour! It was so dirty I slept on top of the bed with my coat covering me up. There was no shampoo or bath soap when I told them their reply was yea the housekeeping person took the one key fob to fill them! Really only one key fob for all of house keeping! No cups in the room even though there was a coffee maker I guess I was suppose to use my hands then when I did find coffee in the lobby there was no creamer asked again and was told yea we ran out. How do you run out of creamer packets that have shelf life that’s longer than twinkies! I have contacted the health department in Syracuse this place should be should be shut down.

I stayed here in April so I could be close to my doctor. The room was perfect for two & kitchenette was just what was needed for the week we were there. Rachael was amazing! She was friendly, helpful and she went above and beyond during my stay while also supporting me in my medical journey. I would stay here again.

This hotel has the cleanest rooms, pleasant atmosphere and the most friendly staff, thanks Rachael for the information and they chat you make people feel right at home, see you soon.

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to Florida. The staff is so friendly, rooms were clean and very spacious! Bathrooms had large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! Definitely will stay again! Very impressed.

Clean room with comfortable although slightly soft bed. Easy and quick check-in and check-out. Convenient location with ample parking.

Had everything you could ask for. Spacious room, good ac and even had a stove. Good price.

Room was clean. A bit dated. Bed was comfy. No continental breakfast however just free coffee. For $150 for 1 night I should have just stayed at the Hilton.

The rooms were clean and we had a full kitchen with dishes and everything. My only problem with it is that you can't turn the bathroom light on without the fan coming on. Aside from that, no complaints at all.

My family had a very nice room. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it better is breakfast being included in the price.

The rooms are clean. The kitchenette is a nice feature, but an oven would be nice. There are other small appliances that can be borrowed like a toaster oven. The full size fridge can also be helpful. There is not breakfast and the items in the cupboard are extremely expensive. The fitness center has nice equipment, but it's too hot because it's attached to the laundry with dryers.

After our canceled flight we decided to stay here rather than the on-site Best Western. Very happy we did Kelly the front desk representative we so so nice and made us feel like we were already back at home.

I went to the front desk and guy there is just sitting on the lobby, watching tv. He didn’t even acknowledged me until I asked whether he worked there. His response to my question was handing me a bundle of sheets! No offer of housekeeping or changing rooms. I’m highly dissatisfied as this Candlewood’s service. Even though it’s cheaper (I used points), next time I rather spend a little extra and sleep elsewhere.

Had a late flight and a very short stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive and courteous. Definitely the most bang for your buck.

The accommodations were great! The staff was very friendly. Thank you to Kelly at the front desk for the recommendations for food and beverages near the property. She answered all of our questions regarding guest services. I have to say she is a great asset to the company. I have been in the customer service industry for over 30 years and she is at the top of the list for her willingness to help the “crazy bowlers” find things to do in Syracuse. Her personality shined through and our entire group’s stay was better because of her! Thank you and keep up the great work!

The overnight desk girl was unpleasant but other than that not bad.

I stayed here for six months on a contract job. Nice comfortable accommodations. They only clean and do a linen exchange once per week. I'd like to see that go to twice a week for guests.

Bed bug infestation in several room at this hotel. Very old property. Stay away from this place.

Feels like home, I love it here, staff is friendly especially Dan at front desk. Its clean and they go out of theirway to make you happy. I highly recommend it.

Friendly staff, I stayed in room 115 it was clean. However, I think they should do a couple of updates such as the bathtub had such a large and deep crack it was almost scary.

Their queen size bed is not much bigger than a double bed so be prepared.

The halls smell like vanilla, they give you a chocolate bar with a custom label that has your name on it along with a note feom the manager with her email and extension number when you check in, the rooms really have anything you could need. I was so concerned with getting dish soap and sponges I forgot sugar for my coffee. Turns out the room already had dish soap, a brush and sugar! There are pots, pans, dishes, silverware, measuring cups and even storage containers as well. I will update as I go along. Update: Just left after a 7 night stay and still love it! Minus the grout being dirty, which happens over time, this was the cleanest and most spacious hotel I've ever stayed at. My kids crawled all over the floor and were still clean! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with every question or request we had. Even when we needed a brush to brush the snow off our car. Beds and pillows are so comfortable I wanted to take them home. If I ever have to get a hotel in Syracuse again this will be it. My husband loves it so much he posted about it on Facebook.

A very nice place to stay, quiet, close to coffee shops & fast food places.

We arrived late however, the office clerk checked us in for our room & was very friendly. He informed us information regarding services & the little food store in the hotel. Once inside our room was very clean, kitchen amenities, Wi-Fi, cable, etc We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

Only stayed here because I had an emergency landing in Syracuse. Front desk staff was actually very nice. Other than that. Faux wood floors in half the room, toilet ran all night, one bolt on the toilet seat was broken so if you shifted your weight while going it "snapped" to the side and pinched your butt… I could go on, but you get the point. My reason for staying at Marriott properties has been confirmed.

Good location, nice quiet hotel 5 minutes from Syracuse airport. Very reasonable rates. Will stay there again. Thefull kitchen in room surprised us.

Quaint, quiet little hotel with nice accommodations. We had a stove top and kitchenette area, with the opportunity to have items out to rent like board games and blenders. We were able to bring our dog, and the beds were comfortable with a nice working A/C. Some of the decor seems a bit dated, but overall a great stay.

I didn't actually stay here but I had to post to say thanks to the very kind shuttle driver who picked me up at Syracuse airport while I was on the phone trying to rearrange a canceled flight. It got sorted on the way so I asked him to take me back to the airport which he did without complaining. To top it off I didn't even have any dollars to give him a tip but he smiled and said "no problem sir, it's my job". What a really nice young man. I didn't get his name but he was young and wore glasses. Your a credit to your hotel. Thanks again.

Room smelled of smoke despite being a designated nonsmoking room. Turns out that the 4th floor was the smoking floor before the entire motel became nonsmoking. We were told room was refurbished with new drapes and carpeting. I would avoid the 4th floor if you can. Staff is friendly. Smoking odor was the sole negative.

It is a decent hotel that provides the necessary amenities. The room suites are simple with a full size refrigerator and a two burner stove top. There is no breakfast available, but the hotel has a service where you can barrow boardgames and specialized appliances like a blender.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Large parking lot. The room is spacious, well lit, and had a very nice small kitchen. The room rate was very affordable.

Love staying at Candlewood Suites! This one was exceptionally nice. The staff was friendly and always at the front desk. The rooms were very clean and fresh. We were upgraded to a suite, because we are regular members. Had a great time!

Clean and simple with a friendly staff. No frills but having a kitchenette helps keep travel costs down. The room was a little noisy, partly from the proximity of the airport but mostly due to the rattling air conditioners and guests running their waste disposals. That said, I'll likely stay here again.

I'll stay in extended stays from now on! Has a small stove with pots, a sink with trash compactor, coffee maker, dish washer, dishes and silverware, full size fridge with freezer, a small table with 2 chairs. Our room had a reclining chair, 32" older model flat screen TV (could have been atleast a 40", and a normal DVD player. Cable with 2 HBO channels free Wi-Fi included, couldnt hook up my Xbox One through the website, which was VERY frustrating seeing as I use it for work, emails, explorer, conference video calls. They should just give u the password for there Wi-Fi instead of making you go through there website. One thing we didn't have that we should have had is a bolt down safe in the closet like most hotels! I'm in the Security Buisness and first thing I did notice was a lack of Security. Only a few cameras in the lobby and way outdated tubed tvs for Camera monitoring. There are no cameras outside in front lot as far as I could see and no security personal on at night. No employees/ security walking the lot every hour to deter any would be thieves, if a presence is shown inside and out, that could be enough to stop someone even thinking about messing with any vehicles, all I saw outside in the lot was just a sign that says they are not responsible for any thefts or damage involving your vehicle LOL. Kind of messed up.

The location is extremely close to Destiny. The night attendant wasn't always the most excited about being there, but still polite. I had two rooms, one for me, one for my parents. Their room had open food left in cabinets and dirty dishes in the room. The manager however, was attentive to the problems, and did whatever possible to make the situation better. Excellent leadership, just not the greatest at the bottom level. But, at the end of the day, I'm going to be coming back here again.
