Brand new rooms, brand new brickwork on every level, beautiful outdoor furniture, also brand new. Clean beachfront with clean beach chairs, kayaks/SUPs on property. Courteous staff. VERY warm pool! loved our stay Aug 5th to 6th.

Room is beautiful! Very close to Lake George and quiet so far.

Room was clean and ok. King bed was good. Bathroom was bad. Not clean and black mold. The view was nice. The pool was good. We spent a lot of time sitting at the pool looking over the lake. We also liked watching the sunrise from the beach. Over all this is a old motel that has had better days.

Refrigerator didn't work. Lock on door was almost off, kids toy by the door. Batteries in remote were dead. Spots on linen. Will never return.

Don't believe everything you read! I don't understand the other bad reviews its a nice place, great location, rooms were big enough for 4 adults to be comfortable, helpful friendly staff. A little run down and old. Could use a few repairs but overall a nice place, nice beach, great views. Heard it will be remodeled by next season. I'd go back.

Clean rooms, excellent location just a 2 minute drive from the main tourist strip. This hotel also expands all the way to the lake and has its own tiny beach, fenced in porch, basketball court, and patios at every level all the way down to the beach. Each room also has it's own little balcony! The overall layout an navigation of the hotel was a little confusing but overall a wonderful experience.

This is our 3rd year in a row we have stayed at the Tahoe Resort. While it's not the Hilton, it's also not a run down, cobweb infested hotel as some have put in their reviews. It has wonderful views of the lake and a nice Sandy Beach. The hotel is older, but it is clean with fresh sheets and towels. House keeping is spot on with cleaning the rooms everyday. When we didn't need our room cleaned, we asked for fresh towels and they were more then happy to give them to us. As for maintenance, they are by the pool at 8am everyday spending at least 2 hours getting it ready for the day. We had a problem with our baby monitor and needed a screwdriver, they were extremely helpful and said don't hesitate to ask for anything else! You come to Lake George to have fun, see the sights and soak up sun and relax, not stay in your room all day. And that being said, the Tahoe has clean rooms to shower, change and sleep. About a mile away from the village, but parking at the village is only $1 an hour. In closing, the Tahoe is a perfect place for a family get away at the right price.

No HANDICAPPED rooms at all. Very DANGEROUS parking lot for HANDICAPPED people, Motorcycle riders & older people. Black Mold in a lot of the rooms. Desperately needs updating!

It's ok for money you put, I have seen spider webs in room. Maintenance is not good. Staff are good to talk. Nice views from shore.

The place is good with a private beach access to the lake, however there is no seating arrangement on the beach. Though there is an inhouse pool where they have sun basking chairs… Place is clean and decent with fair room prices. Would have loved if they had inhouse restraunt.

Unbelievable. Soiled a sheet on night one. These bums refused to change it, until I threatened to knock on all the doors there and share my issue with the other guests. Worst overnight experience ever. Don't do it. Go the country inn and suites by great escape. Same price for an excellent experience.

Location was really scenic. Facility is old and a little run down though they do try to keep it up. There have been efforts to freshen up the place but it still feels like the 1950s. One of the nicer locations on our coast to coast trip.

I never ever write a review, I traveled a lot and this place Es extremely small beds are full not queen like they say on the phone? Very small refrigerator and before you signature this resort make sure you don't bring any cooking item into the room and is really small I couldn't sleep because that bed is only for one person bad experience I reserved it for 3 nights but I cancel one friendly people but a nightmare for me sorry I never came back here thanks.

Nice location right out of town with a small private beach & small playground. Rooms are comfortable and fairly updated.

It's dated but nice access to the lake and a heated pool. Room needed more floor cleaning & they threw away my face cleanser/moisturizer samples meant to last me the days I stayed there.

Great views of the lake! Nice pool and close to the village. But the Wi-Fi is terrible and the beds are not the best. The rooms are out dated but clean. For the price I thought it was great.

This place is amazing! The view is gorgeous, clean rooms and exceptionally friendly staff. I'll definitely be back next year.

We stayed 3 days in this hotel everything was good the rooms were clean room service was good anything we needed was brought to our room quick … If we ever go back to lake George we will definitely will book a room again at this place, we booked 3 different rooms, the only reason I don't give a 5 stars is because 1 of the rooms was smelling mold, but the rooms were very clean!

We took the best room which was beautiful although vintage. The view is very beautiful. Cons Big flat because of the manager who is really unsympathetic and has no sense of customer service.

I didn't even get an experience with the hotel. I called to find out pricing for 2 nights and after she gave me a price for both nights I gave a credit card n was almost about to confirm when she gave me a total diffrent price n then began to tell me that instead of the 2 nights being almost 300 after taxes that it will be almost 600 so I told them to cancel my card take the file off and delete what they had just entered n asked to speak to there manager n she didn't care how bad the other worker messed up n told me that's what the price is n oh well so I do not recommend this place at all when they can't even get there prices correct worst experience n I didn't even get to see it.

My fiance our newborn daughter and I stayed just one night and really had a great time. We made good use of our time here and was not let down at all. Very clean staff was super kind and courties! We were very happy and are already planning a weeks vacation for next month. Just because of how pleasant our stay was. Thank you staff keep up the good work!

The worst experience ever. They do not know what they are doing, mind you the entire motel including the exterior walls are covered in huge wasps. The place looks dirty. We booked our trip online and it clearly stated anyone UNDER the age of 25 must give a 500 USD deposit. When we got there after a 6 hour drive the cow who is apparently the general manager, argued very rudely that it is 25 and under. The staff was extremely rude. We got our refund and booked another hotel close by, please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else, these people don't know how to run a guest service accommodation. Not to mention the fact that we experienced racism, extremely disgusting in this age and time. When we showed evidence to the other staff member that we stood corrected that it said under 25, the cow ran inside and did not come out. Shows how much responsibility they are willing to take upon their mistakes.

Needs improvement. Will not stay again.

My husband and I booked a partial view room here for just an overnight last minute and found it to be very nice. Clean, quiet (Sept 13th), beautiful view, good location (about 2 miles north of town), good value. Staff was very accommodating. I swim distance and found the shore line PERFECT for a good swim. In a small cove with less boat traffic and fewer waves, beautiful clean water, easy to get in and out of the beach area. The only drawback for summer vacationers (for me) would be that there was no way to open a window, but the heating/cooling units in the room worked great.

The place was a dump we got bed bugs from the place and the maintenance guy andy witht the tattoos was very mean and said that the owner dont car about this place because I had a problem with something im my room he said he only cares about his other motels there was mold everywere there was dirt on the floors when I checked it really is not work staying there.

We booked our recent stay at this hotel through Travelocity. Our reservation was for four people for two nights. Upon check in, the woman behind the counter confirmed that there would be four guests in the room. We checked in and found our courtyard room located on the level near the pool. The room was not as nice as pictured on the website. The first thing we noticed was the musty smell and the tiled floors. The fixtures in the bathroom were old and rusted and the hair dryer did not work. The beds were uncomfortable and appeared to be the quality of roll-away beds. The Wi-Fi was spotty and frustrating to use. The beach was small and the sand looked as though it had not been raked. Because it was a short stay, we convinced ourselves it would be fine since it was a few dollars cheaper a night to stay there than if we had stayed on Canada St. Boy, did I regret it! Since the hotel is 1/2 mile from the village, we had to drive to all the attractions. Parking in the village was metered, so that cost us as well. Upon check-out, we were told that we owed additional charges because we had four people in our room. When I showed the woman behind the desk our Travelocity confirmation proving we had a reservation for four, all I was told was that we would have to contact Travelocity. What I thought we had saved on the hotel ended up costing the same as if we had stayed at a pricier place right in the village.

This place is a joke! Over priced for the rooms, the entry way to get into most of the rooms is sketchy. And I don't just mean sorta sketchy I mean Newburgh, NY Lander Street sketchy. I've been in project hallways that made me feel safer! The pictures on the website must have been taken when they opened and never updated. The beds suck, the fixtures haven't been updated either, and don't get me started on there joke of a beach. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Oh and they do not have a bar there.

Soooo many spiders in my room it was horrible. Who ever cleaned my room left a whole lot of hair every where. I wouldn't stay there for free. Sleeping in my car would be much better. Stay the hell away.

Last week I booked my 3 night vacation with two friends to Lake George, I've been to Tahoe resort once already and my stay was OKAY. However upon arriving to Tahoe we were greeted with complete disrespect the staff was very quick to just give us the key and kick us out of the office. The hallways walking up the hotel were DISGUSTING dirty and not well kept. We were shocked to wakeup to bodies full of bed bug bites and told by the staff that those were not bed bugs when they were under the sheets, behind head boards in the draws of the dressers EVERYWHERE. Do not stay here the staff was not apologetic about the incident at all. BED BUGS IN ROOM 309 DO NOT STAY THERE the staff is ridiculously rude. Its dirty the "beach" fits about 4 guests at a time if even that. Its all a LIE. You might as well stay at a local highway motel for cheaper with the same service.
