Really Good Staff & Clean, well kept room! However, the grounds cleanliness could use some more upkeep. Apple Juice, coffee & cold muffins was the extent of the Continental breakfast ☹

Start by being truthful! Lies and false advertising! There was no Wi-Fi in the room, had to go outside to get reception! The HEALTH DEPARTMENT closed the pool for days because of the gate latch? I am going to find out the real reason!

On my reservation, I put we needed parking for a 26ft boat. When we got there, I checked us in and we drove down the narrow road. All of a sudden a woman starts yelling, what's your name?! I told her, then very nasty asked me if I had a reservation. Showed her my key, and she replied that we couldn't have the boat there! Said we needed to get a refund and leave! I checked my reservation and I had indeed asked about the boat!

It was a very nice stay we enjoyed it and we’ll be back soon!

Do not go to this inn. I am Muslim, I went with my family. The receptionist said not to give us a room cause we “muslims are a problem. ” But we managed to get a room and we were in the pool. As a Muslim, we cover, so with we’re wearing T-shirts and tights. According to the rules we were not allowed to swim without swimwear, so with no disrespect we got off the pool. The lady (probably the owner) told us to get off the pool. The husband of the lady and a man standing with him began commenting to themselves saying “f**cking muslims! Don’t no rules! ” And we heard them and asked for a refund. They are racist. I highly recommend to not go, I don’t want anyone to go through the criticism we went through.

Honestly don’t let the bad ratings scare you, I’m glad I still decided to book. The staff is super friendly, we stayed in a cabin and everything was very clean. The walk to the lake is a little intense but look at it in the bright side, it’s a great workout! It’s a very relaxing place, the private lake is beautiful, I especially loved the extended boardwalk. The cabin we stayed in was not the most modern, but it honestly wasn’t bad at all. My family and I enjoyed our time there, I will defiantly be returning!

Great views of Lake George and very helpful staff in the office this is one place I will come back to.

I'm usually not fussy about hotel… as long as I get what I paid for. For around 100-120$ I would have overlooked those things. But for 200$… I expect more than bread, bagels, english muffins with butter and Philadelphia cheese for breakfast (litteraly! ), bed sheets 1 size too small for our matress… no towels available for the swimming pool, Wi-Fi marginal at best, our room had a view on the dumpster. Again, it would have been an ok place at the right price. Relatively clean… nice outdoor swimming pool… narrow access to Lake Georges. But I think I can do better next time for 200$. Kind of place that must have been great 30 years ago.

Room was clean, but no hot water in the morning and the continental breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Said there was Wi-Fi: didn't work. Pool and beach closed at 630. No phone in the room. The a. C. Barely worked.

The room was decent, but there was no Wi-Fi in the room as was advertised and two of the towels were dirty upon arrival. It may have just been the time we visited (the week of July 4th) but the cell service is spotty and slow.

No phone in bedroom, TV issues.

The beach is a little small the hill is pretty steep but the fishing is good it's a nice area and I would go back.

Stayed in one of the Cottages, it was very nice, the beach here is great. The staff are very polite and helpful.

This place is absolute TRASH the cost is unreasonable and the "free breakfast" is no good. I highly do not recommend this place. The room service is also no good and the front desk closes really early. If you request for something then it MIGHT TAKE A DAY to get to you. The only good thing about this place would be the beach but it has no lifeguard.

This place is horrible, they say they have a pool, the hotel is nice and clean and the staff is great but everything is the opposite, if there was any minus five stars that's what I would give them. The pool has been out of order and when we checked in no one said anything till we asked the second night of our stay since we had to call because the lights in our room weren't working. At first they didn't want to come at all but then they changed their mind and came, after running up and down without knowing what they were doing and asking each other stupid questions like maybe the bulbs are all broken, they were able to fix the problem. After they were done we asked them about the pool and the answer was, "down the hill is the lake and you can go swim there the pool won't be open till Friday! " No sorry no nothing. The rooms are very dated and smelly and the Wi-Fi connection is so horrible, there might as well not Wi-Fi at all. We wouldn't recommend this place for anyone and we will never stay here again.

Went to check out which should only take 30 seconds but stood there for 30 minutes before the lady behind the desk asked what I needed help with. A gas station deli has a better breakfast than the "continental breakfast" here.

One of the worst stays ever! I will start with the only good thing about staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean but luxurious they were not. Beyond that, it was a nightmare. Service with a smile does not apply there. The check-in and check-out staff were rude. They acted like they were doing me a favor by letting me stay in their hotel. Also, not stated on their website but given on a paper for the guest to sign, is that they do not provide towels for either the pool or the beach and it costs $20 a towel if one of their is used and $250 if the room is not considered clean enough when the guest leaves. Wifii was a joke. It is only available in their office. Our room was in the closest building to their office about half way down and we had absolutely no internet. When we inquired about it, we were told that it was what they had and to deal with it. Breakfast consisted of one type of bagel, white or wheat English muffins, two types of cereal and old fruits. Three of the areas shown on the buffet are used to hold the glasses and juices. The restaurant itself was run down. The beach was also ridiculous. We walked down to it (it's not right next to the hotel and it is a steep hill). It is only good if you want to sunbathe. The ropes only allowed us to go about 6ft in 1 to 2 feet of water. No swimming allowed. After the beach, we decided to go to the pool.

It was not a great experience the rooms were dirty outside was not landscaped nice pool was cold and no Wi-Fi the back of the hotel was like a junk yard with no tennis courts up and running I thought it was overpriced too.

I have stayed at this hotel for seven years while at Americade. This year was the second time the pool was ready on time but the rooms have always been nice.

The Clinton Inn has a beautifully landscaped property, it's very cozy. It has the most wonderful tall trees, well maintained grounds. They also have an in ground pool, tennis courts and basketball courts as well. Love this place, I'll definitely be staying here again!

Very nice staff, rooms are spacious and clean. Beautiful beach and nice pool area. Perfect for couples, families or single travelers.

I really enjoyed our stay here. By the pool. Everyone was nice. Fair prices. The owner was so nice and kind. The restaurant was great food and wonderful staff. As well as check in staff. I would stay there again. We love you guys… the Stark clan❣…

One if the only positive things about this place is the location. Other than that, it was a disappointing stay. Either the pool heater was broken or they don't have one at all — the water was ice cold. Also, pool was alkaline and dirty and in poor condition. Not sure when the photo was taken that shows the pool on their website, but it's def not within the last two years. The front office is never available. There are no phones in room and once the staff leaves for the night (no posted hours to tell you, so it's a guessing game), you're essentially on your own if you need something. I could go on and on about other issues: the beach is a half mile walk down hill trek to a dirty sand "beach" of abiut 75' of lake access; the playground for kids is a lair of places for cuts and bruises; the tennis courts appear to have stopped being maintained about 10 years ago; piles of garbage and junk in common areas of the motel. This motel shouldn't cost more than $29/night. The pricing isn't reflective of any amenity the place offers and is more of the management trying to get their hands on the tourists' wallets.

Walked into a ant infested room and went to complain and was told they would send someone to spray and still haven't done it. Won't come back here. I just checked in today an afraid to even stay.

Trying to get in touch with actual humans is impossible! If I could give them a negative star I would! Any place that charges you 10 days before check in is a ripoff and a snake!
