It's a great place to vacation at. Owners Dan and Meg are great very friendly very family oriented. They make your stay as nice as possible and are very accommodating. Here at bears den everyone is family. The cabins are very clean and taken care of.

This place is everything a family needs! The owners Dan and his family are amazing! They treat you like family! anything you need they are there! they have a beautiful dog named Sadie who is just the friendliest! Every cabin has a porch, BBQ, and firepit! Cabins and has a loft which is Soo cool for kids! They also have a pool, playground and basketball hoop which my son loved! I highly recommend Lake George Bear's Den!

My husband and I have been coming here yearly for 6 years. Meg and Dan are the most amazing hosts! Cabins are clean, well maintained. If you need anything, they are quick to provide. And then there’s Sadie, the resident dog. She will greet you with a smile.

My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary last year and everything about the place was great, Dan was amazing and very accommodating. This year I was supposed to go in Aug. With my wife and our friends, due to pregnancy complications the night before we were unable to go and once again Dan was willing to work with us. A+++ customer service and we cant wait to stay up there again with our baby when he's born!

This has been the best visit and we cannot thank the Bear’s Den Family enough for everything they did to make us feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. We also want to thank you for all your help with the personal business I was trying to juggle while so far from home. Your help was invaluable. You helped make Shaun’s first vacation in 8 years a relaxing, cozy, enjoyable time and for that we are both so grateful. Beware the Vengeful Vermin ha ha ha.

The Lake George Bear's Den is a perfect spot for relaxation for the whole family. The owners, Dan and Meg are perfect hosts. The cabins are simple, which adds to the charm of the location. I go here at least twice a year! It's my summer getaway in the Adirondacks. Higly recommend!

It’s a great place to stay, the owners are awesome people! Your close to town but don’t have the crowd so it feels like your miles away. Highly recommend Bear’s den!

Dan and his family are awesome people. The cabins are great. The grounds are so clean. I am giving it 100 stars.

My family and I stayed at the Bear's Den from 7/26/18-7/29/18. This was our first time staying there and it was AWESOME. Everyone was so nice and we loved the family oriented atmosphere. My twin daughter's turn 12 this Saturday and Dan the owner bought a Happy Birthday Banner and put it on our cabin the morning of their birthday. They loved it. We are definitely going back next year and will be staying long. Thank you all again at the Bear's Den for all that you did and will continue to do.

These pictures were from this past weekend 6/15-6/17/2018.3rd year in June, 4th time ever. Dan, Meg, Lauren and Clare make our stay fun and not wanting to leave. Dog friendly indeed because Sadie is there to meet you. From a cabin for 1 or a house for 6+ there is no better place to stay the The Bear's Den.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! my husband and I are staying here for a long weekend for our one year wedding anniversary. We were nervous to bring our dog but this place couldnt be more perfect and our pup mya is having a ball! the owners are absolutely wonderful and accomodating! We will be coming back year after year!

This place was exactly what my family and I were looking for! I could not have found a better place to stay at Lake George. From the minute I got there, the owners Dan and Meg were extremely welcoming even though we checked in super late and even upgraded us to their best cabins, which were beyond amazing. The cabins were much more than I expected, incredibly clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. The remainder of the trip was just like this, extremely accommodating and nice owners. They gave us free coals and other camping necessities just out of their kindness. The location is also prime. They are in the heart Lake George, the cabins are 10 mins away from anything you'd like to visit. I definitely recommend staying here for anyone wanting to visit Lake George with their families, friends, or for a romantic vacation with your significant other. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great Cabins, Atmosphere, Spacious Reasonably priced!

The Bears Den is an excellent place to stay in Lake George. The cabins are the perfect size, the pool is great for kids and adults too, and the owners are the BEST! They will make you feel like family! Easy access to everything by trolley or car. Definitely check out the Bear's Den the next time you go to Lake George!

Being our first trip to Lake George, we did not know what to expect of the whole trip. The Bear's Den made it a great experience. The owners, Dan and his family made sure that from the moment we arrived we had everything we needed. Their hospitality cannot be matched by any other hotel big or small that I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot. The rooms are clean and well kept, great mix of out door and indoor space. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and without a question return here myself next year. Great Job guys.

This was a great place to stay! We had a blast, even though it was only for a weekend. The new owner Dan, who purchased it this past spring, is amazing! Him and his family are so caring, helpful, and fun! The cabin we stayed in was immaculate! We had fun in the pool by day, and by our own firepit by night. It was large enough to fit 5 adults, a 4 month old baby and 3 dogs! this place is not far from town, we took a trolley, which picks you up at the end of the driveway. How fun! if I could give 10 stars I would. We will definitely be returning next year, for a week or more.

We just got back from the greatest weekend! The cabin was clean. The people were friendly. Very reasonable rates! Easy to get to town buy Trolly or car. We would definately stay again! Few place were able to let 8 of us stay together. We had an adjoining cabin, perfect.
