Made no effort to help with some accommodations I needed. (Even if they couldn’t at least try) Manager walked by twice while I was speaking with the clerk and never even acknowledged me. Couch in my room is stained and looks disgusting.

💯 recommended clean, comfortable good breakfast.

Nice breakfast, was able to sleep on the bed.

They charged me and I didnt even stay at the room I've tried to call them and fix it but they say nothing I cant just go because I live in Texas for them to charge me and me not even staying there is ridiculous!

Had to come to taos for an unexpected funeral. Drove an entire day to be here on emergency leave since we are military. After such a long drive the only thing we wanted to do was relax. The hotel itself seemed clean and was newly renovated. So as it looked nice, I was pleased. Noticed the bathtub was a little dirty but brushed it off. Before heading to bed I noticed that there was a bunch of hair on the pillow. Thought it was weird since we just checked in earlier and hadn't slept in the bed yet. Picked up the pillow and saw a bunch of little hairs under where the pillow was so I decided to pick up the sheets and check the rest of the bed. To my surprise, there was a massive amount of hair and dirt all over the sheets (pictures included). I was disgusted. Called for new sheets and luckily got them quickly. Had to take the sheets off ourselves and put the new ones on. Following morning asked to speak to a manager and the room inspector INSISTED that she checked the room before we checked in. Hilton is priding itself on taking "extra precautions" during this global pandemic which obviously isn't true at this location. I have an auto-immune disease, and if I wouldn't have checked the sheets before going to sleep I could have gotten really sick. This is gross negligence from the hotel and shows that they really do not care about the well being of their guests while a highly contagious pandemic is going around.

Reservations were messed up, but they still took out our deposit. Then they charged us for the original room even though we didn’t get it! How does a reservation get canceled” or “was never made” (take your pick with their excuses) get the deposit taken from your account? How do they have the nerve to then take additional money out for a room you never got to use? Oh and when you call they claim they can’t help you that you have to call reservations when that is the number you called. And to make matters worse they don’t want to give you a refund! And if they do it will take 3 weeks? There are better places to stay that are ethical and honest.

Their swimming pool is awesome an I love their hot tub.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Coffee, chips and dip and cookies! Oh my! Our room with a view is magnificent! Only corn fields in Indiana!

Jessica helped me make my reservation even tho I kept bugging. She was always willing to help! love this place!

We have stayed at numerous hotels and inns in Taos and the Hampton Inn Taos was by far the best. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Jessica and Mari even texted us before we got into town to give us the road conditions. That has never happened with us before. The check in was fast and easy. Our room was beyond our expectations. We figured since the price was so low, we would be staying in a dump but that was not the case. Our room was perfect and most important… CLEAN! We have stayed at hotels in Taos that cost us $250 a night that were not half as good as the Hampton staff's friendliness and room cleanliness. Breakfast was good and it began at 6am, which was great for us. It allowed us to get to Taos Ski Valley and Angelfire Ski Resort early which gave us awesome parking. Other hotels we stayed at started breakfast at 7 am, which would have to cause us to have to go to McDonalds for breakfast if we wanted to get to the mountain early (Nothing against McDonalds but there are only so many days you can be satisfied eating a McGriddle). It seems as though the Hampton thinks about what their customers want in advance which makes the stay that much better. I can not emphasize how pleased we were staying at the Hampton Inn. We will stay there every time we visit Taos.

This inn has great service and very helpful to us during our stay. The maintenance lady was kind enough to show us around during the new year. The rooms also are very well kept clean and smells great once you walk in. It’s very suitable for the price that it gives and I would definitely recommend this inn if you are needing a place to stay in toas, New Mexico!

Very clean, friendly, full hot breakfast, walking distance from awesome restaurants, shops and more. We even had a free basket of treats and slippers waiting for us in our room.

We loved it. They have the best use of space we have seen. Everything worked well. The breakfast was a little disappointing — the waffle batter produces a dry, chalky crumble!

Pretty good location, only a mile or so from Taos. The rooms we're very clean, spacious, and all the appliances we're working in good condition. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Great hotel and experience.

Best stay in Taos! Good breakfast each morning, everything in this hotel was clean and well maintained! Wonderful staff all around, very helpful and kind! Rooms were modern and recently remodeled, everything worked and worked well! Warm clean pool and hot tub that was actually worth getting in to (rare in a hotel these days). We always stay here and plan on coming back soon!

Nice location just outside of Taos Ski Valley. Quick access to the mountain and had a nice pool and hot tub.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was very nice. The beds are comfortable and have good pillows. The breakfast is good and has a variety of options. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Would be five stars except: gap between the air conditioner and the window frame, let in the cold air. We didn't like the sliding door which performs double-duty for both the closet opening and the bathroom. The staff were friendly and most helpful. The breakfast was also good. Over all we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience! The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. They went above and beyond for their breakfast, and had coffee and tea available all day long.

Easy to find location right off the main road leading into town. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious and had both a mini fridge and microwave. The free hot breakfast was good, but no low carb option, if that's your thing. Overall, exactly as I'd expect from a Hampton Inn.

Clean room, agreeable and helpful staff, wonderfully comfortable beds… only a few small things detracted from our stay. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up, breakfast was tasty but very heavy on the carbohydrates, and HVAC unit wouldn't stay on so passing traffic was easily heard… other than these small picky issues our stay was very enjoyable and we will return in the future.

Ok for this chain but overpriced. Breakfast menu has some regional flavor. The front desk provided free fax service. But the wakeup call system did not work, and there was a problem with the bath plumbing that did not get resolved on notice.

I discovered that housekeeping had decided to take a shortcut and not clean the bathtub and remake the bed without changing the sheets before I took occupancy of the room. Very disgusting. I was placed in a full handicap room until the manager was available the next morning. At that time the manager provided a full refund and apologized. But a very unsettling experience to say the least. I am a diamond member and travel extensively. This is the second time this has ever happened to me in 27 years. Again not the hotel management fault rather just one house cleaning individual that decided to take a shortcut.

Beautiful hotel, all around. Room was spectacular and spotless, everything was perfect. Check in was a breeze, and they provided every service I would expect from a hotel. Water was instantly hot, and all the amenities seem to be in working order. Free Wi-Fi, just ask about it at the front desk. Gonna be staying in Taos many times over the next month and I can comfortably say I will definitely be here for each stay.

Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the chips and salsa in the evenings, that was a surprise. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. And hey, it's in Taos, hard to ask for more.

Clean and seemingly well-maintained hotel. Had a king room for two adults. The room was a little too near the pool — sound carried from anyone going in or out. Staff was courteous. Breakfast included. Convenient location near, but not in the middle of, the Taos historic district, shopping, dining, etc.

With a new owner and management. The rooms are completely remodeled. The breakfast is delicious with coffee, juices, popcorn, and chips and salsa offered complimentary all day. Truly one of the best places to stay.

Rooms were piut together well but the TV required one more remote in order to work.

Worst experience I've ever had booking a room & getting a correct price. People at front desk were nice but not trained, kept changing price. I booked a room but when I finally talked to a manager, she gave me another price! She didnt even say she was sorry for my experience. I've stayed in at least 15-20 Hampton Inns in the past & never had a problem. Of course, I cancelled my reservation. Whoever is the district manager for that area better quickly make some changes!

Im here 2 nights every week for work. Kyle at the front desk rocks. Takes care of everything quickly and effectively. Breakfast isn't bad, good thing about it is that it's usually ready before 6am. This is nice because I'm usually on the road bright and early. The only thing that usually bugs are the showers. Sometimes it's got pressure and a good range of temps, other times its hot or cold and low pressure. Wifi can be spotty sometimes too. But all in all not a bad place.

Liked nothing! Heating system was extremely noisy and gave us no way to sleep. Even turning off the system was not possible. Shower was an even more disappointment. No hot water! No sleep and no hot water?! Worst $215 spent ever! Hotel did not care about 100% money back guarantee. Hated it!

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns across the country and have always enjoyed our stay until we stayed at the one in Taos. The desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. We tried to make reservations by phone and they were having problems with the phones and computers. We left a message and our phone number. The call was finally returned 24 hours later with a half hearted apology, no mention of hoping we would stay there. We did stay a couple of nights later to give them a second chance and because we have stayed in Hampton Inns so many times. Again the desk staff was not friendly or helpful. The free breakfast was not up to the usual Hampton Inn standards.

I am a loyal Hampton guest and travel an average of 10 nights each month for work. Although the sighn says Hampton this location is more like a Motel 6. The peeling bathtub and grungy carpets are just the start of the issues here. I wish I'd read reviews before booking but didn't know I needed to.

Like a motel 8. The room smelled. The bathtub was peeling. The light fixture in the bathroom was falling out and breakfast was cold. Live Hampton inn and it is our go to branch however this is the worst I've ever stayed at. Its not up to the Hilton standards we love. Its like a motel 8 put up a hilton sign to get customers.

Stayed over Memorial Day May 2014: Heard they were renovating rooms. Must have completed ours as it was on 1st floor. Looked new and clean. Perfect. Best free Wi-Fi connection I've ever experienced in a motel. Staff very friendly. Breakfast room very nice with cozy chairs, couch, bar, excellent breakfast buffet which changed slightly every day (we stayed 3 days). We visit Taos, NM frequently and this is the best motel we have stayed in there. Highly recommend it.

Stayed there for 4 nights starting 2-16-2012 thru 2-20-12. Night 1 heater didn't work. Reported it the next day and it was fixed by the time we got back from skiing. Night 3, no hot water. Reported it to the front desk around 6:00 pm. Was basically told the problem wasn't big enough to them to fix that night. Still didn't have hot water at 7:30 am the next morning. The water was fixed by that afternoon, sometime. Reported the problem to Hampton Inn's customer service. Was told the hotel had 3 days to respond. Never heard back from the hotel. Reported this to customer service and was told by them that the hotel staff did contact me and refund some money. This was a TOTAL LIE. The staff here are completely DISHONEST.

I recently made my way into the Taos, NM area and needed a place to stay. While driving into the area, I passed The Hampton Inn and noticed the outside pool area so I decided to pull in and get a closer look. When I entered, I was immediately "welcomed" to the hotel by several of the employees. I also noticed that they had an "entertainment" area with food and beverages offered. I asked if I could get something to drink, and I was offered my choice of several beverages, coffee, which I desperately needed as well as an offering of "breakfast". Hesitant at first, because I wasn't a "customer", YET, I did help myself to a waffle which I "made" myself and it was wonderful. After a quick bite, I asked about the pool and found out they also had a "hot tub" and a fitness room to boot. I asked if I could take a look and the Manager gladly walked me through to see the "amenities". After a pleasant conversation and a couple of "stories" about the surrounding area and "the sights to see", I decided to reserve a room for a couple of nights to see the area. To say I was thoroughly pleased with the service and the hospitality would be an understatement. I was given a few "suggestions" for places to visit as well as restaurants to try and again, I was very pleased with the choices. So pleased in fact that I'm making arrangements to head on up to Taos as quickly as I can to check out some activities like the river rafting and maybe even biking "The Enchanted Circle".

The staff are very nice but the place needs an upgrade badly, basice amenities are sufficient but not up to standards that a lot of other hotels offer, its a era of technology and many people require it get their jobs done, the hotel could use new TVs (with connectivity options) and Wi-Fi for the bussiness man on the run.
