Such a great hotel for the price. Staff was amazing and the rooms are really nice. I would go here again and highly recommend it.

I enjoy the stay there for 2 days quiet. Clean and pleasant people nice continental breakfast. Looking forward to going back to Taos and will be staying there again. ☺

Great place to stay in taos, good value for your money with its newly renovated room. Staff are also very accommodating too. Highly recommended.

They gave us a room that didn't lock from the outside — no key needed, just walk right in! They couldn't fix it because their system was down, and they couldn't print receipts. They gave us a $12 discount — not nearly enough to make up for this. They couldn't move us to another room, either, as we had booked the only room with a jacuzzi. The decor was nice, but had the following issues: the futon sofa was covered in suspicious stains, the mattress was awful, and my phone stuck to the night stand. Not the worst place in Taos, but not an experience I would repeat. I'm giving three stars because at least the staff was nice.

Friendly staff the desk lady's go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable I stayed a total of 1 night after a bad experience at anther local hotel (El Camino Lodge). Offers great breakfast nice rooms only complaint my wondow didnt lock it was fixed right away ill stay again.

Room was decent, beds were comfy. The breakfast was poor but that's to be expected, the recycled key panflets which had wrong room number and wrong Wi-Fi code. No pool and they adamantly deny entrance to pets.

Overpriced at over $100 for the night. Walls are thin, so we were kept up by load guests in other rooms. Pillows are small and somewhat unpleasant to sleep on. Other than that, rooms were clean.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Taos yesterday, October 22, 2017. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable enough. Don't believe those negative reviews that tell you about bed bugs and whatnot. Having read the same recycled reviews on several Taos motel/hotel sites, I can say definitively that the Super 8 is a perfectly good budget 3-star hotel. We had a functioning fridge, quiet room, 3 pillows per bed, plenty of clean towels, a hair dryer, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and a breakfast that's about what you expect at these types of places. They kept the boiled eggs and yogurt stocked throughout the stated breakfast times. The staff was nice, friendly even. NO bugs, no hair in the bathroom, plenty of towels, door locks solid. Price was $85 (with senior discount and no artsy-fartsy events in town) for a Sunday night. Considering that we reserved a single king size bed and they let us have a room with 2 queens for the same price, I'd say they took good care of us. I highly recommend it.

Affordable price and quiet place.

On third web site it says they are pet friendly. When we got there there was a sign no pets. Thank goodness Nellie is a service dog. I just like pet friendly. The room was clean no bed bugs.

BED BUGS! BEWARE! There should be a warning that people in Taos are used to Bed Bugs, and there have been frequent outbreaks. This was my first experience and I had over 40 bites over a 3 night period. It was very painful and a horrible experience. In my opinion, Taos is very dirty and people should know this fact. We were first told we would get a full refund the night we found a Bed Bug. The next morning we had to go through a physical examination of the room, which was ridiculous considering Bed Bugs only come out at certain times. Huge Bed Bugs were found as soon as the top mattress was lifted! Nasty. Management was good enough to put our clothes through the dryer, assist with steaming our luggage and car trunk, and provide a refund. However, there should be a Warning that there is an infestation and there was NO surprise at all by other members of the staff. Gross! I have traveled all over the world, including across the USA many times and Never had this occur. I have heard horror stories, and well I finally had one in Taos Super 8.

We loved this Super 8! Excellent staff, perfect rooms for the price and great showers! The beds and pillows were clean and fluffy and the breakfast was basic and fine, it's free so hard to complain about the simply breakfast with complimentary hard boiled eggs available upon request.

Good visit. First room was not up to par. Upgraded our room. Satisfied.

I read reviews before going and have to say we experienced nothing but good things. Melanie, the manager, was so friendly that we felt like we were at a little inn, not a big chain. We had plenty of hot water and ice. The rooms were clean and had updated decor. The rooms and other guests were quiet and we felt very safe. We read complaints that the beds were hard but I would say they were the firm type with foam tops. We were very comfortable and prefer that over too soft. Breakfast was kept well stocked. Great deal for your buck!

Needs lots of mantainance. The toilet was sinking onto the floor. The curtains were hard to open. The AC didn't have any way to control the airflow. The front desk staff was really nice didn't talk with much of the other staff.

8/8/14 — This place was terrible. Dirty, noisy, rundown. Outside our window was a mattress graveyard. I stepped on the rug once and my feet were filthy. It needs a total over haul. Been staying in Super 8's across country and this was the worst.

Stayed here on business a couple times in the past year. I get the rooms furthest away from the road. Super quiet and private. You don't hear noise from the upstairs units. Not big by any means, but the shower is awesome. Biggest complaint is you need a power strip because of a lack of outlets in the room. Front desk has always been friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money.

The furniture was nice, the room fine. The employees weren't attentive nor rude.

I was in Taos for the week on business and wanted a cheap place to stay as this was coming out of my wallet. After researching the usual low end motels, I chose the Super 8 as the reviews weren't too bad ;) Immediately after checking in I checked the bed for signs of bed bugs etc as this would cause an instant cancellation. Not only were there no bugs ;) but the mattresses looked reasonably new and were very comfortable. Diane the manager was always friendly and provided good suggestions for various touristy things to see during the spare time. The room was clean, smoke free, I requested and received a room with a microwave and fridge and everything worked. Sure, it is not the Hilton and the included breakfast of coffee, cereal and muffins was basic, but for the the price it was an excellent deal. I will definitely stay there again during my next visit.

Good value. Other nearby places had only suites and were over $100/night. Room was clean and perfect temperature when I got in.
