Even though Hotel is underconstruction, House keeper Supervisor Mrs Lupe Made sure everything stays on top. Breakfast is awesome. We are so happy with our stay here.

I stay here when I work in the area. Good location with a McCalisters next door and several other restaurants nearby. Service is usually solid and the rooms are taken care of.

Wow! Frequent visitor and stay at many Holiday Express hotel/motels this motel rates at the top. I give it a five star.

Apparently this Holiday Inn missed the rebranding & remodel (minus the exterior signage) that the franchise began in 2013. The true rating would be more like 2.5 stars which was disappointing being that this was the most expensive Holiday Inn that we stayed at during our 10 night road trip. While it appears from the construction happening in one part of the parking lot that a remodel of some rooms has begun, the facility overall is tired. Our room decor and furniture all followed the same theme with an A/C unit that would run every 4 minutes all night long regardless of the temperate you set it at. I would like to note that the staff was friendly and the breakfast was comparable to the other Holiday Inn’s we stayed at, otherwise I’d look for another option in town at a better price.

Nice rooms comfy beds need to add a security guard during the after hours. It seems the locals have sticky fingers here.

Was fine good place to stay would come there again. The place is clean, the little breakfast came in handy. They have a small area to purchase beer and wine for your room or dessert. Free Wi-Fi, good area to meet and work if needed. Close to several reastuants and bars. What else can I say?

Good hotel, clean and quiet. But they need to do something about the outside lighting. Right into everyone's room. They do have the generosity of giving everyone a clip to keep their curtains shut, but is the lighting even necessary to begin with? Regardless, still would stay again.

Stayed 3 nights paid 599.00 was my exit bill. We payed less for the Holliday Inn Resorts of Trinidad Colorado. The price was a little stiff.

Great service and very clean room. I didn't have any problems here. Breakfast was good. I recommend this place if you come to Carlsbad.

Driveways in and out of the place is a poor design. Most of the staff is nice, but not real friendly. The front desk agent said my company didn't have a negotiated rate with them. That the IHG international company negotiated rate didn't apply here. They don't acknowledge you a priority club members as your checking in (happen 2 different times) no matter what your level is when you check in. They write it on there board the next day.

New hotel with a few amenities and features that make for a pleasant stay like fitness area, pool and laundry. Hotel is totally smoke free. The cost is exorbitant. About $200 a night.

Very nice room for our needs. We went to Carlsbad, NM to see the Christmas On the Pecos light display. The Holiday Inn express offered a great deal for a suite for 4 of us. 2 double beds, small, functional living room area and kitchenette (microwave, mini frig, sink, coffee maker). Very clean. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast offerings were great.

Great hotel. I love the statue of Vishnu in the front. It makes for a nice quirky little hotel. I had a great stay though and the continental breakfast was superb.

Great Hotel! I stay here every time I go into the Carlsbad area and have always had a wonderful experience. Newly upgraded, rooms are very clean and the staff has always been wonderful to work with. Can't say enough nice things about my experiences at this hotel.

This is a new hotel on north edge of town. Clean, well managed, good breakfast. Standard services for the holiday inn express chain. Recommended.
