Our room, Sailor's Hornpipe was so cozy and cute! The decor was so adorable. We were also well taken care of. Breakfast at the bakery was incredible!

Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spotless and nicely decorated and the grounds are nice and relaxing.

Wonderful place to stay while exploring nearby parks. Very comfortable and homey!

Beautiful and well-appointed rooms in this B&B in downtown Carlsbad. We stayed in the Orange Blossom two-bedroom suite which was perfect for our needs. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I have encountered, which was great after long days of exploring around the area. Understanding and accommodating management, who were able to text us necessary information and leave our check-in documents in the room when flight delays pushed our arrival time from 4PM to 11PM. Breakfast collaboration with the Blue House Bakery just a block or two down the road works perfectly, including on a Sunday (when the bakery is closed) when Fiddler’s provided fruit and pastries directly to our room.

Very homey and they give you a reasonable amount of space. I don't regret staying here, plus I got to go to the Blue House Bakery the next morning which was really nice. For a one night get-away it was super nice. Excuse the quality, but it was before Christmas and nice to have a tiny tree.

We're grateful for the accommodation of our grandkids. It helped make the trip affordable and stress — free.

We got the detached unit and it is awesome. Cookies waiting for us and confortable King bed and futon for the kids. The kids were excited to go to bed after a 10 hours trip and being stuck on an accident on 285 for over an hour. Truly recommend this place.

This place is a hidden treasure! It was a quiet and peaceful place. After hiking the Guadalupe Mountains, the hot spa was awesome! Overall is was a good place to stay, BUT some minor detail didn't allow for a 5 star. The bed was too soft for me… the light fixtures and stemware were dirty, dusty.

Extremely easy check in/check out. Julie texted all the relevant check in information directly to me prior to my arrival… just show up and walk right into your room. (I stayed in the Foggy Mountain Private Apartment Suite) This 100+ year old Inn is like a small oasis in the desert. Extremely charming. I felt like I was living in an episode of one of my favorite TV shows, Gilmore Girls. The cafe is a short stroll from the Inn for breakfast in the morning with your provided vouchers; everything I had there was delicious and it was wonderful sitting outdoors in the garden/patio area. The hot tub at the Inn was great to relax in after a day of hiking through the Carlsbad Caverns. Many good restaurants within 5 — 10 min driving distance. Also, thank you for the military discount! I hope to come back in the future.

If you have driven into Carlsbad from pretty much any direction then you probably know it as a small desert town in the middle of nowhere. Well, think of The Fiddlers Inn as an oasis in the midst of it all. Seriously! It was absolutely lovely. The garden courtyard was lush and green and the flowers all over it were colorful and fragrant. It was a super nice, safe place for my three kiddos to get fresh air. Most bed and breakfasts do not allow kids to stay so it was wonderful to find one that did! (Staying in a tiny hotel room is miserable with kiddos. ) We stayed in the foggy mountain suite and it was so perfect for our 4 night vacation. A little kitchen and room for us all. The breakfast was two doors down at a small bakery cafe. And I loved that. It was crowded sometimes, but it was very tasty (get the cinnamon rolls! ) and perfect for introverts because we didn't have to make potentially awkward conversation at a big table with all the other B&B guests as can be common at other B&Bs. It was a lovely stay! If you are anywhere near carlsbad, go to The Fiddlers Inn. Tonk and Julie are unbelievably nice and truly go above and beyond to make your stay a delightful memory.

A very clean and comfortable place to stay. We has a very restful time rhere. The room was spaceous with many personal touches throughout the room. All updated and energy efficient. Outside was a hot tub with table and chairs and gas grill to cook on. They had several propane gas heaters for when it is chilly. All and all a very good place to stay. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent two nights at the Inn while exploring the area. Going back to our room was always a pleasure. It's nice to find a non hotel that accommodates a family of four. My kids enjoyed the yard and porch. We slept like rocks in the most comfy beds ever! Such a clean, well cared for home. I highly recommend Fiddlers Inn for families and couples! No complaints! Also, the Bakery for breakfast was delicious. Amazing burritos, cinnamon rolls and coffee better than Starbucks. Stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at the Fiddler's Inn. We were surprised to find such a beautiful, unique place in the small town of Carlsbad. It's decorated beautifully and Tonk and Julie were more than accommodating. The place just down the street where breakfast is was a wonderful little cafe with great green chili breakfast burritos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fiddler's Inn! The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, well stocked and nicely decorated. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips on where to shop, hike and eat. We appreciated their time and effort to make our stay totally pleasant. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast. P. S. We even were lucky enough to hear "the Fiddler" playing his instrument… kind of magical!

A darling, clean, comfy, quiet place with a great location and great staff. Had everything we needed for a quaint stay after visiting nearby Carlsbad Caverns.

This B&B was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. I was there 2 nights with friends and we pulled together a backyard dinner on our first night with cocktails and light fare picked up from the grocery store within walking distance. Julie was helpful with ideas of things to do and places to eat while in Carlsbad. The river walk is only a couple of blocks away. And finally the little coffee shop (The Blue House) for breakfast was perfect and filled with locals, so you know it is good!

This place was an adorable oasis in an otherwise dry, desert-like location. We had a girl's trip to the Grand Canyon and stopped in Carlsbad as our halfway point. We found Fiddler's Inn on Airbnb and couldn't pass up its cuteness! We had a great stay in the Orange Blossom room, and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a long day exploring the cavern. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area!

Within easy walking distance to restaurants. Easy drive to the caverns. Nice accommodations and great customer service.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Fiddlers Inn after exploring Carlsbad caverns. The room was well decorated and clean! It gave us the full small town experience. The breakfast included from the bakery a block away was as good as I could find in Dallas.
