Very nice room. Would be nice to have a coffee pot in room… And there's were no tissues. Minor things I know. And the people at front desk were very pleasant…

Very clean and quiet. I was in a double bed room with my kids. I wish they had bigger size beds in the double bedroom. The guy who check me in at the front desk was so friendly and understanding wish I could remember his name. I would recommend this place to my family and friends any day.

A great place to crash for the night. Bring your own pillow if you want a fluffy one, because the pillows are rather thin. Still slept like a baby and there was Andes mints to great us in the room. Thank you to Andy for those, I left what cash I had in the tip letter. Will definitely crash here again.

I want to emphasize that the staff I interacted with were extremely nice, helpful, and courteous. Front desk check-in was a breeze even though I was a few hours early. The cleanliness of the room was a problem. There was some kind of spill on the carpeted area around the bed from a previous guest that wasn't properly cleaned. I stepped in it and it was sticky and gross and it smelled terrible. There were mosquitos smashed against the wall behind the entrance door that we're just left there. As I was getting ready for sleep, I noticed some kind of small beetle flying around the room. The bathroom was very clean. The fridge and microwave were very clean. The bed sheets had been replaced and the mattress looked clean & covered in a special mattress bag. So I'll say those things were good. The big problem was around other guests. Some folks checked in to the room above mine and were extremely rowdy and loud at 2:30am. It sounded like they we're figuring and after 15-20 minutes I had to call the front desk. They did answer and called the police. Red Roof can't really be faulted for those people's behavior but I get the sense that it does attract a certain clientele.

Located in Lawrenceville new jersey it was the worst red roof we ever stayed in room reeked with smoke floors were dirty bed was sagging and to top it off we had no towels when we woke up in the morning called front desk and was told to come and get them. I am going to protest charge on my card.

A good place for a good night's sleep; rooms adequate and some, more than adequate. No frills, but none expected. Towels could be larger and better quality. Staff pleasant. Would rate higher if there were a small sitting area in lobby for early risers, etc. And better coffee. Good place.

Nice open area inside room, in between bed and bathroom door. It was a handicap room. Bathroom was large with a lot of handles for easy access and safety. Room was clean and towels were clean.

This place is nasty and dirty. I wouldn't have even my dog stay there. The non smoking rooms on the back side is smokey. Blankets had stains on them. Towels dirty, they give you keys to other people room. I have the experience recorded and since the manager does not want to speak to me personally and avoid me. I'll just go to corporate and show them the video. I'll take my business elsewhere along with my family, friends. Rating this place even 1 star is a bit much. But since the only way to post you have to grade them. 0 rating.

Oh man. I don't know where to begin. I had to slam my door for to get it to latch. (Would not lock) The tub was slimy. No towels, so I had to use my own "just in case towels". You definitely get what you paid for because the only redeeming quality about my room was the bed. Best sleep I've had in a while. Everything else was something to be desired. Wi-fi was awesome in my room. (137)

You don't get much for the price ($90/night king bed). No breakfast, Internet/Wifi is as reliable as a rock (probably have the lowest tier), bed is too hard, thin pillow. Looked and felt cheap all over. Slept here 1 night then went over to Quality Inn (1 mile away) for the other night where they serve breakfast and have reliable Wifi. Same price too!

Clean, modern room. I like that there isn't carpet. The beds are hard and only full size and the pillows are so thin we had to go buy our own. I'm in a wheelchair and had to climb up to the second floor, there are only outdoor stairs, no elevator, and they are not bothered to help me find a downstairs room. I probably won't be back due to that, but if you're looking for cheap, Clean, basic lodging near Princeton and Six Flags Great Adventure then this might work well for you.

It's a good budget hotel, located in a prime area and the rooms are decently kept.

Red Roof Inn at Princeton Ewing was very cozy and warm. The support staff was very helpful as well when we were stuck in the snow last week. I'd recommend it to everybody! The room was very affordable too.

Rooms are disgusting. Evidence of bedbugs, debris, and stains if you look under the sheets. Place smelled bad and generally had a dirty appearance. Toilet had a seat too small for the base. Shower made a horrible screeching noise. Could accept the dated and mismatched decor, if the room was at least clean and well kept. Avoid this dive.

Decided to stay here during my weekend stay in New Jersey. The internet was out for the building and when requesting assistance from management I was given a number to there IT Vendor and told to fix it myself. I called the IT Vendor who said the hardware for the system was down and someone from red roof inn would need to reset the devices but management refused to do anything and basically told me I was out of luck. It wouldn't have been a problem except that because of whatever material the rooms are made out of, the second I stepped into the room, all my devices had no service. Management, seeing me frustrated suggested I call their corporate office but when calling to still try and have my issue resolved, I was informed that they are closed on the weekend;when most people are traveling and using hotels. This was not a pleasant stay. My concerns were dismissed and their was no attempt to make things right. Management told me to resolve an issue that their establishment was having rather then taking the time to call their own IT Vendor to fix a hardware problem I don't even have access to.

Decent for the price but got a smoking room and mgtwotked to give me money back as there were no "no smoking" rooms available.

Terrible rooms, there are bugs all over the place. Rooms smell and they don't even provide breakfast. I wouldn't recommend going there. In that price there are many good options to go for. Dint spoil your trip crashing there for a night.

Stayed her about a year ago. LOVED it then. Staying again, looks better than ever. The room was so clean and smelled good. Tbe employee's are SO NICE. I recommend staying here.

The rooms were fine. But the property grounds are just trashed. Trash every where. Buildings can use some paint.

Good clean room for a quick one night while traveling. Not too many "goodies" so the price was good for me. Don't need the extras.

Non smoking rooms were smelling. Not clean. No towels provided on second morning. No receipt for separate rooms paid using separate credit card. The reception was not courtacious.

Cribs are not available. They don't even have any as an option. There seemed to be no difference for an up charge to deluxe, as our room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee. The toilet seemed as though it was going to take everything in the room to another dimension, then left a third of what was it was supposed to take behind. I'm not sure when the room was swept last, and it looked like there had been construction recently that left dust on counters, floors, and walls.

Not a great experience! arrived in our room in the early evening to discover our bed was neatly made with sheets that someone else had slept in (so gross). Long black curly hair, with a few eye lashes and makeup on the pillow and sheets. Went down to the front desk to speak with someone and waited over 15 minutes. Duke was the only one at the desk, in fact only one in the entire place. He was going in every direction, answering phones, taking check ins and trying to satisfy customers. He said, he would send the sheets up. Left for dinner, when I came back he still did not have a chance to send sheets (i say send sheets, because yes, I hand to change them. It was 11;30 pm when I went back to ask yet again and was handed sheets. I was with two other families whose rooms reaked of cigarette smoke and smelly air units. The next morning we went to the front desk yet again to speak with the manager. I asked for our room to be taken off the bill, we were told he would. The one gentleman in the smoky room was told they would find another room for him to stay in. No one called to say they had a room, with a smoke allergy he had to sleep in that gross smelling room once again. On Sunday morning we checked out and we said we did not want to pay for the smokey room and would like to be compensated for a two night stay we were told they would do it. I checked my bill from the dirty sheets room and instead of taking off a night they added a night (OMG).

I stayed here because it was very close to where I had to work for a business trip this week but it was probably the worst, most disgusting hotel I have been to. I found an empty whisky bottle under the bed. They had touched my personal belongings, I had things all sorted out and closed away in what most think is a laptop when they first see it. I come home from work the second day and there are some on the floor and in one big pile on where they were originally sorted out an safely stored away. I go to complain and they tell me that that night was my last night, when I was scheduled to stay another night and they told me this was because my card was declined since I added this last day at a later date. When I checked in though they asked when I was staying till and I told them, but they failed to mention then that the last day was paid for. They also never gave new towel or shampoo when I had asked for some. I could keep going on with all of the cons to this hotel but I would be here all day. I just highly suggest not staying here.

My stay at the Red Roof in was great. The rooms were small but I did like how the floor was not all carpet. The location was perfect. I was 5 minutes away from my event that I attended. The service was good. The people at the front were very nice.

The room wasn't bad but the service and cleanliness could have been better. It wasnt terrible but it wasn't anything to write home about.

I went to visit a friend and her son who are temporarily homeless due to issues with her husband. She told me the weekly rate for her in a double was $45/night. Not bad. They clean her room everyday and in general the property is clean and quiet. They have cable and flat screen TVs. Just a nice ambiance in the room and property. I think she'd agree with everything I'm saying.

My five night stay at this Red Roof Inn: Pros: — Very affordable — Decent eating spots are close-by (Joe's Crab Shack and Red Lobster is in walking distance) — My experience with the staff was pleasant and they were all helpful Cons: — Only moderately clean (I think it could be a little cleaner (examples: hair in bedsheets, a few stains in the shower and comforter, hair on the floor, roach traps are visible) — The location is on a main busy highway, so exiting can be a test to your driving skills — Walls are thin and you can very easily hear the guest next to you and outside of your room Personal Stay Summary: When I arrived to check in at the Red Roof Inn, I was greeted by a woman at the front desk who was pleasant and made my check-in process easy. When I entered my room (originally I made reservations for a standard King room) it smelled like mold (which I believe was coming from the air conditioner). Later on that day, the mold smell was getting to me and I decided to cancel my reservation (before it was too late) and find another hotel. Well, when I went to the front desk and told the hotel desk clerk what the problem was, the gentleman apologized and gave me the option of an upgrade. I hesitated a bit, but I decided to check out the Superior Suite (well worth it if you choose this hotel) and I was not disappointed. There was no smell, it was spacious, and moderately clean to the point where I felt comfortable enough to stay there.

This has literally been the worst experience of my life. I understand that this is a cheap motel but it's as if it's not a motel at all. There is no standard for service at all. When I got there our room had a light fixture that didn't work over the sink vanity, the bathtub/shower was filthy literally grey with a ring around it from never being cleaned. There are mouse traps in the rooms. The sheets were dirty. The floors were filthy, both carpet and hardwood. And all that could probably be let go given the price if the service wasn't so TERRIBLE. I mean TERRIBLE! Do not stay here. I had to wait 30 minutes in the morning for toilet paper because there was none at all in the room except for what was on the roll. The cleaning lady took all our wash clothes and just left us with the dirty dry off towels and hand towels, which I'm still confused about. I'm not someone who has only stayed at fancy hotels. I've only stayed at cheap motels so I know what to expect and this is literally terrible. The people who work here all literally all idiots, THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. The only plus is that me and my family are able to tell funny stories about how terrible our experience here was. But trust me you will not find it funny while you are here. I would say spend the extra money if you can afford it and if not I would sincerely recommend trying another town. Literally nobody stays here.

This is the worst hotel ever. I stayed there for about 2 weeks, nothing but a trouble. I moved to 5 different rooms. I had a rat in one of my rooms and all of the rest of the rooms I had tics, bed bugs, and mold in my rooms. The cleaning service was AWFUL. Kept walking in while I was in the shower when I had the sign on to do not disturb. They over charged me in price. I ended up in the hospital, and they still were charging me extra for the hotel room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If anything they should be shut down!

The motel is OK for its price. The rooms are modern and mostly clean. There were some bugs but it could be attributed to the season and the location. Service was good and there is Apple parking. Overall good value.

The service was good. They answered a few questions quickly and clearly. The room was clean. It was a perfect per night stay.

The hotel is VERY bad. There was an unattended pit bull in the adjacent room barking and actually destroying the room for hours; I had to call police, management refuses to do anything. It is now 11 pm and the barking has been extreme and continuous. Management refused to provide a refund (Samantha) so I could go to a hotel and get sleep. All of the residents were driven out of their rooms (about 10 different rooms). The non-smoking rooms are choking bad with folks lighting up all around me. There was an open full-blown sewer cover obscured by Red Roof landscaping with a 6 foot fall (about 18 inches wide, 5 feet long and six feet deep), which management refused to abate, or even mark — an extreme hazard. If anyone gets hurt, the hotel was well and repeatedly warned. Entry and exit is onto a busy Route 1, with 55 mile per hour traffic, from a residential level stop sign-start point. Each time you enter it is an extreme hazard. Don't trust the photos, this place is a dump. Samantha, the clerk at the front desk was disrespectful and actually hing up, when I brought up the string of disastrous issues.

I've previously stayed in Red Roof Inns, and not impressed and slightly grossed out. I heard through other reviews here that this location was new and nice to stay in, so I gave it a chance especially because it was under $100 a night. I was surprised that this one was unlike any other one. It's newly remodeled rooms are neat and clean. I was only going to spend one night, possibly two, but ended up staying three nights; the king size bed I slept on was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is quite tiny, but being petite I felt it was fine for me. The front desk/customer service was friendly and helpful. The only con is that it is located awkwardly where 295 North and Rt 1 South split. When you leave this location and want to get over to Rt 1 South during the day, it's nearly impossible. I ended up having to take 295 North exit to Princeton Pike exit (shortly down 295) and backtracking just to get back to Mercer Mall & Rt 1 South. I will be staying here again in the very near future!

Prior to our arrival the lady we spoke to on numerous occasions about our reservation was very hopeful. However once we arrived we were quickly disappointed in the customer service we received during our 2 night stay. We had to call the customer service line directly when the manager was unable to fulfill our reservation request. I would not recommend this location to anyone that has any type of special requests or needs any type of accommodations. If they are unable to fulfill it they will just say, "Oh well. "

Service good, cleanliness just ok, room in need of some repair.

Was going to just stay 1 night this past Friday after a round of golf at nearby Mercer Oaks to avoid having to drive back home to NY. On the outside the place seemed old and dated but I figured, what the heck, it's only 1 night. I "treated" myself to their 'premium king' ("our best room", as per their Web site). I was given 2 keys to room 244. The first key didn't work so I tried the second. After a couple of failed attempts, the door opened. At first I thought the room had not been made (even though it was already 6pm). Then I realized I'm standing in an occupied room. Thank God the occupant (s) were out. To whomever was staying in room 244 on Good Friday 2 days ago… be glad I'm an honest person or I could have walked away with all your stuff. To the motel… shame on you as this could have been an ugly/dangerous situation for at least 2 of your customers. Although, I quickly walked back to the front desk, described what happened and got a refund so I can't call myself a customer. As I drove North on US1 I saw many newer/nicer looking hotels to choose from within a mile or 2 of this Red Roof. Oh btw, the young woman at the front desk apologized by letting me know they had some guests extend their stay and that's what caused the problem. Imagine what could have happened if I'd have gotten in late and walked into MY room startling someone who is in THEIR room. If you stay here, my advice (other than don't) is knock on your own door before you enter.

I have staff here twice for work related. It was great and the staff was great.

I Wish there was negative stars to Rate this place, because zero is really toooo much for them. Bad Service (I mean Terrible Service) … the first time I stayed at this place there was no soap, no shampoo, no iron machine etc. And when I asked the front desk to bring those missing items to me, the guy told me that he will bring them in 30 min! … And Guess what I found in the room the second time I came to stay in this motel (less than motel actually). I found drinks, chips, Clothes in the drawers, Needles and I was smelling weird things in the Room… DONT COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!

It is adequate. The staff are great, always friendly… but you can hear other people in their rooms, yelling or whatever.

Renovated, not quite friendly or considerate staff. Doesn't look right from outside, but our room was quite clean and bug free. Probably too expensive for what it is, yet everything is overpriced there.

The location is right beside a major highway so thats not the best. But the management here is wonderful. I booked my stay via the website only to find out that the website (or I) got the wrong date. I did not realize I got the wrong date until the day of when I had to check-in. Though I could not get a refund for the night I didn't stay there when I called corporate customer service, when I explained my situation to the manager who was there on a Sunday afternoon he refunded me for the entire cost of the room! Also the girl at the front desk at evening checking was very nice and assured me I would be able to get a refund and also get a late check-out for no fee. Thanks guys.

Recently renovated. Nice housekeepers. Cleo is very nice at the front desk. The only problem some of the guest in other rooms are loud, and it's good to keep a eye on your car. Also, the road to get out is very dangerous. But overall okay.

Pretty good for 70 dollars per night. The hotel was recently renovated. There are new laminate floors, nice lighting, and really comfy beds. The hotel is actually in Lawrenceville, which accounts for the lower price. The hotel was difficult to get into off of Route 1, which is very congested at times. Also, the bathroom fixtures were older and had not been replaced during the renovation. Overall, Red Roof Lawrenceville is a good value and feels comfortable to sleep in.

The manager is an idiot and Cleopatra and Yasri are the rudest, most incompetent of service reps any motel chain could employ. One king room is newly-renovated with decent light fixtures, bedding, furniture, etc. But the faux-floors are crappy and peeling. The hired hobos paint and bang around the property all day and the barking dogs are obnoxious. Several rooms down, the stench of marijuana should have caused alarm, but this is the sort of thing this motel does not seem to mind — — even after reporting it to them. The police are known to this motel, to be sure. The maid does a very good job and is very pleasant. This has the most dangerous turn off of Route 1S after the restructuring of Route 295/95; it is almost impossible to get back onto Route 1S from the motel, too. Get a coupon for a better place if you can.
