This is a low quality ES. We travel for work and have stayed in several ES, this is not one I would recommend. There is a Weird smell throughout. Uncomfortable beds. They have had no dishes or silverware the 4 days we have been here. So you can’t save money by eating in while you stay here. I heard them talking at the front desk about nobody willing to wash the dishes, so I assume they have plenty but won’t clean them. The front desk is basically useless, half the time they aren’t there and when they are they are rude! The area is nice and quiet and the price is reasonable.

It is pretty nice. The staff are kind and thoughtful. The location takes time to get too if you are not used the the area. It is kind of hidden, but besides that, it is a good hotel.

Do not stay here. Yes the woman at the front desk was nice but everything else including the Extended America chain Is a disaster. I had a cheaper price on Expedia when I called and they offered me 20% of which would be a little cheaper than Expedia, by signing up for their program. Don’t do it. It’s a scam. I got the full price on the bill. Over the phone they acknowledge I should get 20% off but they are giving me the run around. The hotel room smelled horrible as if they were hiding smoke or something else. I was there for a wedding and basically was in the room from 11pm until 6am. I have flea or bed bug bites all over my ankles. The people at the hotel were also kind of seedy. I was afraid leaving my dog there for the short 5 hours I would be out at the weekend. What a horrible hotel and company. DO NOT STAY HERE or with this chain hotel anywhere.

Everything was excellent. Room was clean, great location. Courteous staff.

The staff was wonderful! The bed was rock hard. I have an extra firm bed at home but this was way to hard for me.

This place is disgusting. In just one night stay my children and I had to be moved 3 times. The first room was dirty and smelled like planet fitness. The second room was infested with bedbugs and the 3rd room was infested with stink bugs, I counted 8 in one room. I also want to make you aware that I checked in at close to 11pm and I checked out at 6am. If you decide to stay take caution but I would not advice, your better off trying your luck at redroof inn.

Great water pressure in shower! Pleasant, helpful staff.

Rooms looked much newer than the cost suggested, full kitchen was a nice touch. Blankets and sheets were just ok. Overall though great value.

Terrible hotel. People just walk in the room and they never refresh my room unless I ask the faucet in the shower leaks and now there is a blood stain on the sheets. Free Wi-Fi is the slowest in town. I do not recommend this place to any one.

If you've ever been to an ESA then you know what to expect and won't be disappointed. The front desk is cheerful, polite and very helpful. You can't take a left out of the parking lot but you're in New Jersey so you should already be used to that.

Not good! Bed sheets from previous guest not changed until I freaked on front desk staff. 1st face towel I attempted to use had pubic hairs on. Bathroom sink counter was filthy. Dresser drawers had dead black bugs in all of them. No kitchen utensils, bowls, plates, pots erc. Nothing. And the so called breakfasts consist of coffee, tea, muffins in a bag, oatmeal in a bag with nothing to put the oatmeal in to be able to eat it. Do I need to say anymore?

This hotel was HORRIBLE! Stayed one night, the lobby was okay, but once you turned the corner it looked like a bunch of project apartments. And the room we had first was a handicap accessible, which clearly the young lady saw we did not need, but still booked it for us. The room had dog hair in the chair, the closet had a curtain for the door! We had to get another room because it was three of us to one small bed! Smh! The next room was just as bad. One of the beds had a fresh blood stain! And the pillows were cloth material, why put cloth pillows in a hotel where multiple people and dogs sleep. So unsanitary! It was cold and the heat was not working! WORSE STAY EVER! I will never stay at an extende stay america hotel ever again! And I would not recommend this place to anyone! This place do not deserve any stars but it would not let me post; (

I would strongly recommend against staying at this hotel. The room was not very clean, lacked any kitchen amenities (although to be fair, you could ask the front desk for them but I didn't trust the cleanliness), and had very sketchy people roaming around and hiding in the bushes at night. Additionally, the hallways reeked of marijuana. As mentioned by previous reviews, there is free Wifi but it is incredibly slow and the TV had only about ten channels. I stayed here by myself (in town for work) and felt unsafe the majority of the time I was here. I will say, the hotel employees were all incredibly nice and seem to be trying their best but the hotel itself is terrible. I would strongly recommend (especially if you're alone) spending more money on a better hotel in a safer part of Princeton. (Edit: was originally posted for the incorrect location. )

Good quality for the rate in Princeton. Only around ten minutes to downtown. Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff.

While the rooms are clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi is slow, the "free breakfast" is just granola bars and coffee, and the studio suites have no plates or pans to cook. Am I supposed to bring my own while traveling?

Room rarely gets cleaned. Even when asking numerous days in a row. Trash piling up, gnats. The only good thing about this place is the friendly front desk employees who have helped and given me trash bags, toilet paper, and towels since the cleaning crew can't seem to do their job when scheduled/asked by front desk members. Definitely don't recommend. Oh, and the one time in 3 weeks that was room was cleaned, they didn't even vacuum. Save yourself the hassle. Send your business elsewhere.

I like this place. It's easy to book a room and really worked out nice for me. I've had two rooms here and one was fine, but the second had signs of wear: the room smelled "humid" and I got the sniffles staying there, the microwave rotation played was broken, and the bathroom tub drain stopper didn't work. Great price overall, still happy I stayed here, but had its problems.

It was a warm experience. The place was clean and I can as well cook if required. The staff was friendly and all the amenities are well. Most of the utilities are in good shape.

It's not that I don't like it! It's the India woman at the front desk basically she called my boyfriend a liar we checked in on Sunday and a young black lady check us in she saw that we had a small pet and it was in its case and didn't say anything about it she didn't say we had a fee so my boyfriend went to the front desk to fax paper work off and she told him she needed his card because we have a pet like we was trying to hide it he told the India lady the black lady never told us about a fee she said that couldn't of happened ugh excuse me but yes it can I think all India ppl are racist against whites and black folks as Nd they are always rude to American people.

It's a pretty decent location with all essential travel services nearby. Good rooms at great prices.

Stay away. Bad rooms. Bad breakfast. Worst Wi-Fi. You just get a bed and comforter to sleep. If you are looking for just bed, then go ahead.

One Word — Awful! As soon as you enter the room, you are greeted with the smell of a chemical which you'd have to stay in the room to get used to. The bed sheets are used one with hair of previous users sticking out of them. The carpet is so worn that you'd be ashamed to use it. Fruits served in Grab and Go are the ones that supermarkets discard and do not sell to customers for fear of epidemics. Staff is totally uninterested in what's going on. Towels are thin and overused having lost their absorption ability. Bathroom doesn't have towel hanger over hand wash. No soap dish. The shower curtain is an extremely thin filament of plastic that hasn't been changed for years together. Stove Grill is Rusted. With wafer thin staff (just one person at a time) managing the property it seems that NO ONE IS CARING FOR AT LEAST THIS PROPERTY! IT IS IN DIRE NEED OF REVAMP! EXTREMELY CRITICAL AND URGENT! Have never come across a more apathetic hotel service, a more dirty room, a more horrible stay experience! Will not recommend it to anyone in my life!

Not good for long term stay.

It's really nowhere as bad as some of these reviews are stating it is. I don't know, maybe they changed management or something. I practically live on the road, so I know a bad hotel when I see one. This place is barebones, but it's an Extended Stay, so what else would you expect? They are improving as a whole. A few years ago, I would rate them as the worst chain in America. Rooms are newly remodeled and quite functional. The area is very busy and I wish there was something within walking distance, but you can't really blame the hotel for that issue.

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel at 2 star hotel prices, Extended Stay America-Princeton-West Windsor is NOT the place for you. This hotel is "bare bones" — room service once a week (additional room service is available for an additional price), no pool, no gym, housekeeping once a week, BUT this fits my needs completely. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located very near an abundance of shopping and restaurants — you can't walk to these locations due to the traffic on Route 1, but a quick 2 minute drive will get you to anything you need. The train station is 5 miles north which allows you to be in NYC a little over an hour. I'm returning next week and haven't thought once about looking for other options.

This is the worst hotel, I've been to. Every room I had was very bad, everything was broken and the manager her name is dolly treated me like garbage.

I have never seen such unprofessional staff. Room service was just once a week. Internet was too slow and when I complained the lady asked me to call customer service for the internet and we got into a fight and lady was yelling on top of her voice! You have to pay for internet if u need it and on top of it its pathetically slow. On the third floor the corridor was quite stinky. The lamps in the room were not functioning properly. To make things worse the staff was unfriendly and rude. They have no clue about customer service. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

DO NOT go to this hotel, I'm warning you, DO NOT. This was the WORST hotel I've been to IN MY LIFE. The bedroom was dirty, STINKY, and there was ANIMAL FUR on the sofas. I'm allergic to animal fur, and it got all over my clothes! The staff was fishy, and didn't wear any uniforms. Just because they have suites, doesn't mean it's good. You have to ASK for room service and they don't even clean the dishes! The carpet was dirty, and the bathrooms were stinky. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
