We Enjoy Our Stay. Very Friendly Service, Rooms Nice and Clean. Love The Breakfast.

Very accommodating, well equipped motel even providing ear plugs. I chose a 4th floor room on the highway side of the property and needed them. Chose a room toward the outside seating or pool for a better night's sleep. Excellent breakfast choices. I really liked the prepared egg, cheese, meat English muffin. Check-in and check-out we're both quick a d accurate.

Very satisfied with our stay. The room clean. Bed comfy. The breakfast very good with a variety to choose from. Staff friendly and helpful.
the only thing that was disappointing was the pool looked dirty so there fore we choose not to take a swim. We really would've liked to.

We chose this hotel as it was just down the road while traveling and had the perfect location. As with all Hampton Inns the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I travel with electronics and medical devices so I need plugs. These are in abundance. Breakfast was the usual stuff and well stocked and clean. Easy on and off. The staff are what gives this place five stars. I called and my reservation was taken. Instructions provided were great. The morning breakfast lady had to handle a bunch of families that were ravaging the food. She kept up with it, cleaned wonderfully and smiled like she was happy to have us over. Please tip as the cleaning staff and other providers work very hard here.

The staff was amazing! Especially Alympia :-) she made us feel welcomed from the time we checked in. She was very helpful and met all of our expectations! The breakfast was great. Our kids enjoyed every minute of the stay. Even the rubber princess duck that the staff gave our 4 year old during breakfast ❤️. Thank you Hampton Inn for being so great!

Nice staff, great rate clean and new. Beds were awesome! So comfy. The only problem we encountered was a fire alarm at 7:00am. Fire trucks responded was outside for a while while they checked everything. We were not compensated for the disturbance in our sleep.

Great Hampton Inn. Staff was great and the sales manager was extremely helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Rooms had mini fridge and beds were very comfortable. Outdoor pool and patio area was spacious. Pool area was a great place to hang out. Cracked barrel located right next door.

I have never had such horrible customer service. Karen was rude, I was hung up on and told it's because the phone is in a weird position. Then I was charged for a night I wasn't there and Jessica never got back to me. I was told Pat Smith the GM would call me and it's almost 3pm and I'm still waiting for her call. Just now Valerie informed me she is the sale sales manager and not Jessica as I was told this morning and said noone was here to help me because everyone is at lunch. Meanwhile, noone has even apologized for double charging and the women answering the phone are RUDE. BTW, I'm a Diamond member. Glad loyalty matters!

Nicely appointed Hampton Inn. Polite and attentive staff. Very quiet and peaceful outside setting, and yet we are right off RT. 78. We're just passing through, from Florida to Maine, but this was a very nice place to stop overnight on the way. I recommend it.

We were very well taken care of. Our room was spotless. It was quiet. And my handicaped needs were well addressed. Breakfast was really good. Nice variety with good and healthy choices.

Conveniently located and well maintained hotel. Staff was friendly. However, we called ahead to request a crib/pack n play for our toddler and were told everything would be ready when we arrived, but there was nothing in the room for him.

Visited a guest. Hallways reeked of smoke. She said someone in a smoking room set of the smoke alarm. Rooms were clean.

Hotel lobby is clean. Water does not get very hot when taking showers. Breakfast is good but would be nice to change the menu every now and then. Power station for electric car is avail. No digital key. Hotel needs to dust the rooms.

Friendly staff. Knew who we were when we checked in… my mom had left a message for us. Large dog friendly, and cheap pet fee.

Beautiful location on the top of the hill along I78. Close to Walmart and shopping center. Great breakfast. Nice and quiet even though full of out of state men with electrical trucks. Must have been working on all the power outages we've had from recent winter storms. I didn't hear a thing when they left long before I woke up. I didn't hear the noise from the interstate either. I would definitely return.

This hotel has been remodeled recently a few years back it is quite upscale and nice ly appointed. Rates are reasonable complimentary breakfast is really good the staff is really helpful and like I said very clean. Highly recommend it to anybody traveling in that area that needs to pull in and take a load off.

Needed to stay there last night because of the nor'easter causing power outages. Went to check in and the staff said that the backup generator wasn't working. Had to cancel and stay at the Bridgewater hotel instead. They didnt even call ahead to make sure rooms were available. Staff was very rude. I will NEVER stay tgere.

Our room was very nice and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we really liked the comfy pillows. I’m picky about pillows and sheets but these were spotless. I didn’t sleep well because I left the heater on and it was very loud during the night, so my advice would be to turn the heat off before bed. The hotel staff were exceptional. Chris and Pat went out of their way to help us and were incredibly kind. Highly recommend!

Convenient location and reasonable price for the area. The Town of Clinton is one of the true gems of New Jersey. Come for a visit and walk through town.

Close to I78, Wal-Mart and restaurants. I've been staying here for work for about 6 years. Free breakfast and coffee is a great addition. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

During our stay they were under renovations. Yet made everything very accommodating. Breakfast was moved from its usual spot but staff was even more so eager to help.

The room was a little small and they did not give us enough chairs but it was nicer than not.

Travelling little league team overrun the entire facility indoors and out. Drunken parents were urinating in the parking lot. Very rude and disrespectful bunch of clients left nothing uneaten at the breakfast buffet and no access to the pool or patio for other guests. Do not stay here during little league season. Why does the hotel get one star? Because they do not do anything about it or have adequate staff to safely manage the amount of people staying here.

We were told we would be able to check-in to the hotel early but when we got there we were told we wouldn't be able to and our rooms weren't ready. Other than that, the place was clean and nice.

Good place to stay while traveling through the area. Firm, comfy mattress. Nice sofa. Clean room with plenty of space. Plenty of offerings for breakfast. Freeway close, but a little hard to find at night, but that's what Maps is for.

Great hotel right off RT. 78 right next to Cracker Barrel, also. Rooms are clean! Breakfast free. I recommend!

A great hotel to stay in. Beds were comfy, water pressure perfect, thick towels, clean, quiet, pleasant and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and perfect.

Home away from home. Very clean! Very updated. I've been here a few weeks and got to see the ins &outs the cleaning staff is always doing the right job making sure that everything looks and feels brand new the lobbies extremely comfortable very updated very modern with beautiful colors you do feel like you're someplace else other than New Jersey the breakfasts is are extremely OnPoint changing it up every day you never get tired of it! five star breakfast all the way. Your choice of the caffeinated regular hot coffee 24/7 very conveniently placed in the lobby. The pool is always clean the outside garden area is a beautiful place to hang out at night and day and we have Cracker Barrel right in the parking lot we share together. I would definitely stay here again.

This is not the nicest Hampton Inn I've been to. (I was at one in Coventry, RI last week, and I'll be at another in Islands, NY that I've been to before next week. Both are fine. ) My room here in Clinton has damp carpets. I noticed two insects when I woke up on the ceiling. The breakfast, not always a fancy experience, was very mediocre. Watery oatmeal, burned omelets, undercooked sausage. All in all, a very underwhelming experience.

Our room was overlooking the pool, and some people were out there loudly partying until after 2am. There was no fan in the bathroom, walls were thin, and overall it felt kind of cheap for the price. On the other hand, decent free Wi-Fi, decent free breakfast, and all the staff we dealt with from cleaning crew to desk staff were friendly and helpful.

We did not stay at this hotel, however we had a negative interaction with the woman at the check in desk, who in my opinion acted very unprofessionally. We stopped by the Hampton Inn because we are having our wedding in the area and wanted to get information on near by hotels to direct our guests to. We told the woman at the check-in desk we were having our wedding in the area and we knew we were pretty late with our Wedding coming up in the next couple months in May. She then rudely blurted out "This May?! in a chastising tone and then walked of grumbling for a couple minutes to get out paper work. When she came back she had a form and impatiently asked us the name and how big of a block we wanted. We told her we hadn't specifically been trying to get a block and that we more just wanted information on the hotel including transportation services etc, and maybe if it was an option, how their blocks worked and if that was even something that would work for us. Once we explained this, her hostility seemed to dissipate, but she still had somewhat of an attitude towards us as she answered our questions. I understand that we were asking them about this on short notice and that that means availability is likely limited. However, there is a professional way to convey that, without acting rude and hostile to potential customers. This experience made us decide to not even mention them as an option to our guests.

The Hampton Inn Clinton NJ is a nice comfortable place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds was comfortable and cozy. I got a good night sleep. If you going into New York, New York time square. It's about an hour and half drive to the city. I would recommend this hotel.

Not the type of experience I expect from a Hilton brand hotel. We went there for a wedding last week, and had to go through 3 different rooms until we could be comfortable. 1st, we did the online check in and choose our room on the second floor, we reserved a suite so we could have more room. When we arrived we found out that our room had been given away so we had to take a suit on the 4th floor. We went to that room to find out that the AC was broken, we moved to another room on the first floor and stayed on night to discover again that the AC was broken. We finally moved to our final room which was what we expected our stay should have been like from the get go, your normal Hampton experience. When we checked out, we had to remind the clerk to fix our rate from the suite to the normal rate. We were not offered any sort of compensation or even points for our trouble.

My parents stayed here. They liked it. Quiet, comfortable, and clean.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very pleasant. The only issue I had was that it took the shower about 15-20 minutes to heat up. Once that time had gone by the water would get hot, but it did take a while waiting for it to get warm enough to get in.

I've stayed here several times and I am very satisfied with the staff and the rooms, and it is right off of the Interstate, there's also a wal mart and a Cracker barrel very close by.

Great hotel. Luke at check was the BEST, so helpful. Room was clean. And cracker barrel was walking distance.

The staff is totally pro, and the hotel is top notch in its class. When I was injured on the property, the staff were wonderful and graciously comped my room without my asking for anything. However, the owner seemed only concerned about making sure I understood that it was my fault that I was injured, and not the hotel's fault. For that reason, I checked out early. I could no longer enjoy being there, even for free.

Clean rooms. Fast service at the lounge. Very close to other restaurants and shops.

This place is awesome! Very clean. Very friendly. Very accommodating. My dog's 1st time in a Inn and he loved it as well. Room is perfect for the dog and I. Swimming pool is great! We love it here! The breakfast selection is pretty decent. The sofa bed is a plus!

Worst place I've stayed. Stay away. Staff is horrible. Will treat you like crap like you owe them something. Plenty of other local places to stay. Do not give these people your $$.
