The best bed and breakfast I have ever been to and I have been to many. The staff is accommodating, friendly and top notch. The restaurant has a wide variety of menu items for breakfast and dinner but more importantly it is top quality and delicious. In addition it is located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. If you want to treat yourself then don’t hesitate to come here.

We did not stay here, but came for dinner. Hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. Service was impeccable. Our server was Shannon and she was extremely attentive, friendly and informative. We both had Bourbon Steak tips with mashed potato and greens. Steak was full of flavor and cooked to med-rare perfection. We started our meal with NE clam chowder — again, one of the best we've ever had. We gave our compliments to the chef through Shannon who then went and brought out Chef Alex so we could tell him in person. Alex then gave us a quick tour of the wine cellar. Mind you it was closing time but he took the time to show us anyway. Super friendly Overall just a great experience all together. Made my Birthday Celebration that much sweeter.

We stayed at the Inn to celebrate our anniversary, from the beautiful room, to the cozy tavern and the restaurant is amazing! The service was awesome and the bar tender isn’t shy with his pours! (I have him an extra top each night) and we adored Warren our server! We had a 90 min couples massage which we highly recommend and our soaking tub and steam shower were so wonderful! The price of a little high but it is worth it because the quality and service you get is unmatchable.
We will be back for sure!

I've stayed at the Inn in the past with my late busband, always had wonderful weekend vacations there. It took us away and staff very professional and friendly. Rooms, beautiful and nice touch to make you feel welcome.

The Mt. Washington room was spacious and quiet. It was very cozy with a working fireplace and a nice jacuzzi tub. The room was clean with an early American feel and lots of windows with great mountain views. The restaurant is not to be missed either. Breakfast was included and very good, but dinner was excellent.

Loved staying at the Carriage House. Breakfast is amazing, the staff always knew my name. Warren the bartender makes the best Manhattans!

This is our first stay and will definitely come back. The atmosphere and scenic views are beautiful. If you stay here, make sure to dine at the restaurant too! The food and service was top notch.

I cannot say enough good things about our magical visit to the Thorn Hill Inn for our 25th anniversary. The entire staff was very attentive and Steve did a great job with our celebration. The food was top-quality and expertly prepared, and the entire feel was akin to an old fashioned resort where you can have a delightful conversation other guests or find a quiet spot to do your own thing.

I highly recommend The Inn at Thorn Hill. Steve and the staff are fantastic and the accomodations are excellent. Everything on the site is meticulously kept up with, and breakfast was delicious. Within walking distance to a beautiful nature hike with a water falls. Perfection!

We stayed here the weekend before Labor Day for our anniversary. They made the visit perfect. The Inn is beautiful and the views are very nice. Jackson (the town) itself is adorable. The first night's dinner was a little rough, I think they were down a server, but our server (Abby) did her best to make up for it. The food was good and the outdoor seating area is charming. I wouldn't have dinner out there again (it got a little buggy after sundown) but we had breakfast outside every morning and it was perfect. Our breakfast server was the sweetest and I'll be darned if I didn't catch her name — we had her all three days and she was awesome! I can't drink cow's milk and they had soy but I really prefer almond milk, she went out of her way to ensure I was have almond milk for the rest of our stay! The room was perfect. We stayed in the Stanford White room on the 3rd floor and it was every bit the privacy and quiet we were looking for. We will definitely be back again!

We (my wife, son & his girlfriend) had a very enjoyable and relaxing two-night stay at the Inn at Thorn Hill and we could not have asked for a more delightful and enjoyable experience. The rooms are spacious and clean and Steve and his staff are extremely attentive. The massages at the SPA were well worth it!

Such a great little place to stay. All the staff were so friendly, they made you feel right at home. The restaurant serves complimentary breakfast which is a full menu and the food was out of this world. 5 star breakfast. They also do dinner which is close to fine dining. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The spa and the two girls that worked there were absolutely amazing and gave the best massage.

We highly recommend the Inn at Thorn Hill. We have been visiting the White Mountain region of New Hampshire for over 35 years and have stayed at many really beautiful places, but the ambiance and comfort of this Inn is beyond compare. Steve did everything to make us comfortable both times we stayed at the Inn. The suite was clean and had all we had asked for; fireplace, jacuzzi, and steam shower. The views from the enormous wrap-around deck were gorgeous. There were games to play and a fire pit. In addition, the quality of the food was delish; both breakfast and dinner (breakfast included with afternoon snacks). The fresh baked pretzel sticks they served for one of our afternoon snacks were amazing. We have yet to try the spa, but will on our next trip to the Inn. An experience you will enjoy and relish; one which will want you to book your next New Hampshire stay at the Inn time again.

We have been to several hotels in New Hampshire over the years. The inn at thorn hill was our favorite. Nice rooms with jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. All the amenities you want or need. Great food. Friendly staff with a nice family feel. We will definitely go back!

My wife and I booked a three-day stay at the Inn at Thorn Hill for our honeymoon at the beginning of June in 2018, a time when the North Conway area of NH has not yet gotten busy for the summer, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay! The Inn itself is beautiful and well kept, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It's also conveniently located only a short drive from both Mount Washington and North Conway. While there are a number of small restaurants and inns in the immediate area, the Inn at Thorn Hill is located just a few minutes from North Conway, a large stretch of commercial real estate with lots of restaurants and shopping including a number of Outlet stores all located in the same development. No matter what you're looking for you can certainly find it in North Conway, whether it's a place to grab a bite to eat or a good price on some new sneakers from the Nike Outlet Store (my wife's favorite! ). Mount Washington is one of the primary reasons people visit the area, and the Inn at Thorn Hill is only a short drive from the base of Mount Washington where you can drive the historic Mount Washington Auto Road and enjoy the view at the summit of the tallest mountain in the Northeast. We only ate at the restaurant at the Inn once during our stay, but the food was prepared quickly and was excellent. The menu selection is upscale for our tastes, but we were still able to find something that was to our liking.

Great atmosphere, unbeatable view, and comfortable rooms. They manage to maintain a vintage charm while offering contemporary comforts (the two-person tubs and gas fireplaces in the room are a nice touch). The staff was friendly, and the service very attentive. The only drawback was the restaurant. The food was good, but uninspiring. I wanted more variety and more experimentation. Overall, a great place to stay with access to some of New Hampshire’s best hiking.

We loved this beautiful Inn in Jackson NH. Very nice romantic room with 2 person jacuzzi in each room. Great breakfast included Great dinner (extra). Nice bar, Hugh wine selection Congenital staff and innkeeper Steve. A great adult get away. Beautiful any season. Look at their activity weekends to keep the slower season s full of fun. A lot of music to be enjoyed within a half mile (walkable)

Was at the inn for 2 nights for our honeymoon. Even though we were the youngest couples there by chance most likely we were welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. The owner who also doubles as an amazing breakfast chef was a tremendous host and accommodated us to our every need. Food was amazing, we enjoyed our own suite and then a private cabin. With good weather a welcoming outdoor fire drew us in and the bar is fully stocked to meet anyone's needs beer, liquor or wine. Our rooms were clean with jaquizzis and fireplaces. They even moved our luggage from one room to the next which is not something we are used to, while we were exploring the valley. We plan on returning very soon!

My husband book us the Presidential Suite for the weekend and it was better than I ever could have imagined. As soon as we got into the Inn Nancy the inn keeper greeted us so pleasantly and politely. She was extremely helpful and kind. Steven was also very friendly and courteous to us, he gave us complimentary champagne at dinner for my birthday it was beyond perfect! The food is amazing! We ordered the lobster ravioli and the surf and turf. It was very delicious and our waitress Cassie was so funny and sweet. The room was gorgeous and the views of the mountain range were breathtaking. This weekend will be one to remember! Thank you so much to all at the Inn everyone made us feel so comfortable and at home. I highly recommend going here for a nice romantic getaway you will not be disappointed. We have stayed at other places but The Inn at Thornhill is by far the best the area has to offer.

Peaceful quiet and peak colors. The campfire was a nice touch. It brought people together to talk. Also loved the food and coffee on the deck. Nice place Steve!

Steve is a friendly and welcoming innkeeper. He enthusiastically and helpfully showed us around the inn. He was so nice, showing us available rooms and offering us our choice. The rooms are beautifully appointed, large, comfortable and immaculately clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was outstanding. The public areas of the inn are spacious and well appointed. There is a beautiful wrap-around porch with plenty of seating, overlooking a beautiful field with view. Downtown Jackson is a very short walk down the hill. Steve did everything he could to assure our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. We will be back!

We stayed at the Mt Pierce Room on Labor Day. The owner Steve greeted us and showed us around when we arrived. He just took over the inn this year. Room is clean and offers serene forest view. There is a big flat screen TV with cable. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The a/c is quiet. There are free fresh and yummy cookies and coffee at the lounge. Monocular and tri-pod are available at the porch for the guests. The inn is beautiful at night with the lights and the jazz music on. Breakfast starts at 7:30am. Free parking opposite the inn. The owner is friendly and helpful. He showed us a shorter route to flume gorge after we told him that we are heading there. We enjoyed our stay and breakfast was good! Thank you for the wonderful experience! We will go back! ☺

Owner Steve goes out of his way to make your stay at The Inn at Thorn Hill as comfortable as possible (along with all the supporting staff)! The smooth jazz music playing in the background was soothing, the food was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were very spacious and luxourious. Loved the jacuzzi, and sitting room, along with the fireplace. Very romantic. Whether dining, sitting in a rocking chair or relaxing, the porch is the place to drink in the magnificent view. Unwind at the end of the day with a cup of tea and freshly baked cookie or enjoy a cocktail. Not sure of activities? No worries, as Steve guides you to the right adventure, considering weather factors. Didn't get the chance to try the spa services this time but can't wait come back again! Nice stay at Thorn Hill for a couple nights. Steve was an awesome host. We've never stayed at a place like this before and wasn't sure what to expect. We are quite a bit younger than the typical guest here, but we didn't feel it stuffy or off putting. The room was nice and large. Clean but could use some updates. The outside area was a nice change from a typical hotel. Fires in the evening outside. We had breakfast and dinner both once. Both were very good. We had drinks several times through out our stay. The bartenders were very nice, with a few good drinks and a few mediocre ones. Would definitely come back.

There's only one word that describes The Inn at Thorn Hill and Spa. Perfection. Our stay started with the owner greeting us at the front door and ended with him serving us the best breakfast we have ever eaten. We were welcomed back in the evening each night by name and our interaction with the entire staff was wonderful. The grounds, porch, living room, lounge and the Mt. Madison room were beautiful, well maintained and inviting. An inviting elegant inn without the stuffiness with incredible views is what best describes our experience. The only regret I have is not being able to personal thank Steve for the amazing stay. (he was busy helping with breakfast). Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay from the Cashmans.

We stayed for the weekend in Mt Monroe. This was the nicest home away experience we've had. The two person jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace more than we thought we might. Absolutely make sure to book spa activities before you come, but they were accommodating enough to book us with some wonderful stuff to night before. The staff is friendly, but never intrusive or overbearing. The food is amazing, the whole wheat bread at dinner was some of the best bread I've ever had, and the rest of the mail only went up from there. It's a great place with a wonderful view and professional, friendly staff. I do recommend it.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and were blown away! Excellent customer service especially from the Inn owner Steve and his wife. Very accommodating to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We had breakfast and dinner and it was amazing! I had spa services while my boyfriend went snowmobiling. The rooms where spacious with a steam shower, Jacuzzi and fireplace. So tranquil! They do not miss a thing at this hotel very relaxing and romantic getaway. I have already referred friends there and they loved it as well… We will be back very soon!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs! Delicious breakfast, fantastic dinner in the lounge and incredible dinner in the dining room. Attention to detail and guest preference is top notch. Quite honestly, Scamp, our bartendress/server in the lounge made our first night memorable. "Let me guess what you like" nailed our different wine tastes. Talent. Made the best cocktails. Klaus was so wam and welcoming, thank you for your hospitality. Tea in the afternoon is also a nice touch. Enjoyed the spa treatment — very good. Our room in the main inn was spotless & comfortable. If you've never been here, you should. We will not think twice about coming back. The staff is truly incredible. Thank you for a fabulous weekend!

We had a group of 6 that stayed in the carriage house for the weekend and the experience couldn't have gone better. My wife and I have stayed here a total of 3 times, but it was the first time for the other 2 couples. From the moment we checked in, Nancy and Klaus made you feel at home. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch both mornings and dinner one night. All were fantastic. They have a great selection of wines, from just a glass to a bottle. The rooms were spotless! Linens were crisp and the jacuzzi tubs were great after a morning of hiking. Even though we stayed in the carriage house, the entire INN is very well appointed and kept. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly friendly, took time to check on us, and even gave us suggestions for activities in the area. We adored our room (Mount Washington) and were constantly in awe over the views. The entire inn is nicely decorated for a cozy, yet elegant style with plenty of seating areas to offer places to relax and enjoy the porch. The dining porch is a wonderful experience, rain or shine, and we highly recommend dining with them and doing the breakfast package. The food was wonderful and overlooking the property and the mountains was very enjoyable. Also, you are right in Jackson and can walk to the puzzle shop and cafe. There are other shops as well, and even a museum, so your local exploring is very pleasant. Being so close to the White Mountains means you have access to hiking, zip lining, and all sorts of activities. We used the spa services as well and felt pampered and relaxed. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping the room in perfect shape too! Overall, our stay was perfectly comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. It was everything we had hoped for in a honeymoon destination and we cannot wait to return! Thank you so so much!

The staff at the Inn bend over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect. From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed warmly, shown everything we needed to know, given recommendations for area entertainment and assissted in any way needed. The rooms were beautiful, and, as my husband mentioned, actually looked like the pictures from the web page. They have a dinner package with the room, and we were able to include the dinner for the second night but not the first, (since we know we wouldn't arrive on time for dinner the first night. ) And, they clearly love to help you celebrate your special occasions. We mentioned at dinner that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they gave us a lovely gift and made note of it for future visits. We had a wonderful weekend, and would absolutely recommend staying here.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here for our 2 year anniversary. We are very glad we did. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful. I read other reviews stating that the food wasn't so good, which made me a little apprehensive to come; but, was pleased once I had my dinner and breakfast. The staff did mention that they just got a new chef. My guess is they may have removed the previous one. We stayed in room 311 "The Katherine". It has some of the original furniture from the original inn, which is a nice touch. Also, Jacuzzi. I recommend this place to all.

Inn At Thorn Hill, Jackson, New Hampshire: Our second time to stay at this well appointed, beautiful B&B. Excellent, warm welcome from Christine follow by great breakfasts in their gorgeous dining room. Both of servers, Susan and Jean, we outstanding, attending to our every need. Gorgeous romantic room with comfy bed and large whirlpool bath tub. Sharonette does a great job of keeping the place lookin’ good and congenial Klaus is always checking on how things are going. Superior service. We stayed in the Webster which is one of they smaller and least expensive rooms, but just right for us. Other rooms were much bigger and priced accordingly. Great place, easy to recommend without hesitation, and definite do over.

Our stay at the Inn at Thorn Hill was excellent. We stayed there for two incredible nights at Easter and had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our parents birthdays and they made everything perfectl with the owner even presenting them a special box of chocolates on our last night. The rooms are beautiful and are very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. If you are looking for the best lodging in the White Mountains, the Inn at Thorn Hill is the place to stay.

Heaven on Earth We just spent 2 days at this Inn and it was the most relaxing and wonderful experience. Sleep quality out of this world huge Flat screen TV's Internet speed was better then in Boston Hotels and the cleanliness was superb. We had dinner both nights and the food and service are exceptional. We highly recommend this for couples who would like to relax and in our eyes one of the best services we received in our travels. We will return in the fall and cannot wait to have dinner at the porch overlooking the mountains. tb.

I was disappointed with our stay this time. This is our third year at the inn. We chose to come as a tradition for our anniversary. Since I first dinner date was at the inn. It was transitioning to the new owners at the time. For being a four diamond inn the service is lacking. Upon arrival offered no assistance with my luggage. Wanted to have a drink on the porch but told the lounge is not open until 5 pm. All I wanted was to sit on the porch and have a glass of wine, while waiting for my husband to meet me. I wanted to have a light dinner on the porch like our first date, but they were not serving out there. We sat at the bar and had dinner enjoyed the bartenders company. The lounge was busy, and she had no assistance. The dinner menu is the same, with a couple of specials. Breakfast is nothing special, offered a cinnamon roll that seemed to be Pillsbury brand and not even warm. I don't think we will be back. The atmosphere is not the same. No more warm friendly feel with above and beyond service. Warm welcoming check in, nightly turn down service, going above and beyond to get you what is needed is just not there.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. My wife and I had a been to this location a few years earlier and loved it, so when we had the opportunity to visit again we jumped at it. When we arrived we sat in the lounge are server by the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Eye rolling, snide comments and the waitress kept muttering about being confused. Our drink order was wrong three times, the waitress had no idea on what types of drink mixes there was and told my wife, I am just trying to help and I am very busy you will have to be patient! When the martini arrived, it was offered like a fine wine, a taste offered into a glass, and when my wife asked to please just finish pouring it was spilled and eyes were rolled. I left no tip and a note stating why, today I checked my credit card receipt and they added in their own tip.

My husband and I went for our anniversary for a getaway! We definitely found the perfect place. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and romantic. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious (my husband is a chef was extremely impressed). Our room was beautiful and again CLEAN! We loved that it was more of a couples retreat and low key! We do not have one complaint. We will definitely be back.

Recently, my wife and I went to the Thorn Hill and Spa Inn in Jackson, NH. We stayed 2 exceptional days. We were greeted by Megan who speaks excellent french; She showed us around the hostel before returning to our room — Stanford White-, a jewel of tranquillity, well decorated, very clean and great.
In the evening, we dined on the porch: the NY sirloin was divine, delicious salmon of Madam.
The next day, a massage absolutely hors category with Jodi is to do if you are looking for a fitness after a long trip. This woman is professionalism and competence that is rarely found elsewhere.

This is a wonderful Inn, particularly with the Travelzoo Deal we got. The rooms were spacious and all had large bathrooms with 2-person jacuzzi tubs and a glassed in shower. They have a full restaurant with a limited menu. Our deal included one night's dinner for two that included 3 courses and a full breakfast each morning. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The inn is locate just a short way from the Conways and a number of ski areas. I know that the deal is continuing through March 2013.

This was our first stay at the Inn and Spa at Thorn Hill. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Mt Washington Room in the Inn and it more than met our expectations. We enjoyed our meals very much and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the spa for treatments. My husband said it was one of the best massages he had ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again next year.

Our visit to The Inn at Thorn Hill in October 2012 was our fifth. The accommodations and the attentiveness of the staff are always outstanding. We have stayed in the Gray Manor every year and it's always a delight to be there. The view of the mountains is spectacular and coziness of the room and all the the amenities are wonderful. Dining is also a treat. After a hearty breakfast we are ready for the day and after the busy day is over, it's always nice to return for a refreshing cup of tea and cookies and to anticipate a delicious dinner in the lovely dining room. If you are visiting Jackson, you cannot find a better place to stay.

My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay at the inn. Everything was exceptional! The staff was personable, attentive, and very professional. The inn is a comfortable mix of cozy seclusion and 5 star accommodation. Meals were absolutely delicious! If you need a nice retreat into the scenic mountains of NH, make this your destination. A wonderful sanctuary where you can relax, rejuvenate, and regain your balance. Fantastic! We will return again and again.
