We booked the Spanish Suite with a cozy romantic fireplace for our 10th anniversary! We added the Romance Package which came with a dozen red roses, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. The breakfast the next morning was delicious! The staff were very friendly, and the entire Inn was beautifully decorated for Christmas time. There is a common area for guests with complimentary beverages and snacks, along with paid items such as wine and beer. We will definitely plan future visits here, until we have experienced all of the different themed rooms!

Amazing place for a little getaway, so many hidden gems inside one place. Cannot wait to visit again in the future!

Amazing staff, great attention to detail, and nice accommodations. We love the breakfast, dinner and drinks at this historic hotel. Also they had great amenities like 24 hour coffee and snacks. Great for a romantic weekend away!

We loved the atmosphere, and dinner at The Library was wonderful. We went back the next day for a second helping of the Boiled Peanut hummus — yum! The room was well-appointed and romantic.

We have stayed for several anniversaries and birthday celebrations. Always a great experience.

We just left our weekend stay here and all we can say is WOW! The hotel and suite we stayed in was very luxurious with a touch of historic and true comfort.
The staff here are so kind. All of the staff here go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and your stay is unforgettable.
Even though they do try to cater to the majority of those looking for a romantic get away/weddings/couples, they did an out standing job making sure our little dude, who at last minute had to tag along on our trip, was happy and taken care of. (An extra thank you Marie in catering who always brought him "the best pancakes and giggled when I tried to squish my own juice" he says)
Even though you hate to have problems with stays, their conflict resolution was great. We had a serious issue with a guest of another guest staying at the hotel and from what we know the issue was resolved! We can't wait to visit again Fairview!

Absolutely a wonderful place to have a wedding reception! We had our daughter's wedding and reception there on May 25. The grounds are beautiful and the intimate setting for the outside wedding was lovely. We are from out of town so we were only able to meet once in person before the wedding and reception. Of course, the wedding coordinator, Amanda, was very responsive to all of our phone calls and emails. The food was delicious; the staff refreshed each of the stations frequently so that everything tasted freshly prepared whether eating something just as the reception began or 3 hours later. My husband and I highly recommend the Fairview Inn for any important event you might be considering!

This place was fantastic! Very helpful and nice staff. Great experience all around and definitely recommend! We’ll be going back back very soon and quite often, perfect monthly getaway!

The bartender Kaylee was very nice and attentive and professional. The decor is very cozy — feels like you're in a wealthy person's personal library. The patio is very nice too and is situated under a beautiful magnolia tree with hanging lights. They use herbs like fresh basil and kint from their own garden. This bar is connected to a Bed and Breakfast. There was a wedding party the night I visited, but the bartender was still very attentive to the other patrons. I like this spot a lot for a nice cocktail.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to the beautiful Fairview Inn. Upon walking in the door we were immediately treated like family, in the best way possible! The rich history of the home is documented throughout. The other guests were pleasant and there is ample room for everyone to enjoy the grounds in a rocking chair, hammock, or comfortable patio furniture. Our room was upgraded and absolutely gorgeous! Jackson sits halfway between our family and my parents and we are already itching to get back!

Met a friend for drinks at the Library bar. Great atmosphere and specialty drinks are named after landmarks in the area and famous Mississippi. Not many options for food in the bar area.

The Fairview Inn is a little slice of heaven on earth in Jackson. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are lovely, and the food and bar service are outstanding. We look forward to visiting again any time we can!

From beginning to end, everyone I encountered from the planning of the wedding, to the brunch the day after, was a complete delight! The venue was perfection for an inside intimate wedding with a flare of something extra special. The Asia room was exquisite! With comfy bed, spacious room, and a bathroom a bride could really spread out in to get ready for the big day! The food was delicious and the staff even helped search for and served a specific champagne we wanted to have in memory of my dad for the reception. The Inn is now a place I will forever cherish because of the wonderful moments that were created there during our wedding weekend! Couldn't have asked for more!

Great experience all around. We had large rehearsal dinner there. Everything was perfect. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, easy communication from planning to billing, and the staff was upbeat, attentive, and helpful. So happy we decided on the Fairview Inn.

Best place to stay when in Jackson. Personal feel and great rooms! Not just another hotel. Also great bar in the lobby area.

Great table service and elegant setting. Nice for a local romantic getaway. Room had fireplace and comfortable bed. Water leaked through one of the window frames in bedroom ruined coffee and tea tray. Mentioned it to an employee and was ignored.

I want to thank the Sharps and staff for making my brother's rehearsal dinner/ wedding reception this past weekend so incredible! The service, hospitality, and attention to detail was flawless. It was beautiful. Everyone had a great time and commented on how gorgeous the reception was. We had relatives staying in the hotel and they couldn't say enough good things about their visit. The place is amazing, nice quiet and relaxing with great breakfast. I accidentally left my hanging clothes in the closet! I called and they shipped them back before I made it home from my vacation! Great people. HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutly stunning bed and breakfast. Staff is more friendly when you're a guest. Food is great and so is the atmosphere.

Came for trivia. My drink was delicious, trivia was alright except for being read too fast. Beautiful grounds.

Had a great time. Easy check in, polite staff tour, got a free room upgrade since a suite was open. Nice and quiet for our stay but they do lots of weddings and receptions. Breakfast was great southern style fare. More professional than the usual B&B since they have a kitchen staff. Library lounge was classy. Small but good staff and prices. We didn't try the restaurant but it was empty during our stay.

This is an outstanding Inn. The staff were attentive. The room was huge! The price was worth every penny.

The Fairview Inn is such a lovely place to have an event. From the outside patio for cocktails to the spacious dining area for an incredible steak dinner (fork tender) this place can not be matched. We had a company event with 65 people. We were all fed in a timely manner and no one had to send their steaks back for not being cooked properly. I love this place as the staff there is also so easy to work with.

Hidden Gem in a quaint area of Jackson. The food at 1908 was wonderful & service is excellent. Also check out the Library Lounge, great place to unwind or relax with friends.

Very nice place, a definite asset to the Metro Jackson area. Many options at the Fairview Inn from dining late night entertainment. My friends and I like to take part and there Tuesday night trivia, I go whenever I'm in town and I believe they go weekly.

Wonderful atmosphere. Very old south! There are so many different settings throughout the grounds of the hotel that accommodate to whatever mood your feeling. My wedding was that night and it was lively, whimsical fun with friends, family, and dancing. The next morning was quaint and peaceful enjoying a breakfast in the carriage room! We will be back every year for our anniversary!

Yesssss — I went here for my wedding night, and again for our 2 year anniversary. The rooms, the robes, the bar, and the quick response time of the front desk for any requests. Shout out to the crew there! We love y'all.

We called at 10:14pm and spoke with the owner and asked if we could make a reservation for tomorrow night. She told us that they stopped taking reservations at 10:00pm. She told us that she had been up since 4am and did not want to take a reservation at this point in the evening. She also told us that she did not care if we called and made a reservation with another bed and breakfast. Keep in mind we have stayed there at least 4 times in the past 2 years, including our honeymoon at $300 plus dollars a night. Also our family has stayed numerous other times. We were very disappointed in how she handled the situation. My wife and I are both small business owners and would never treat or customers the way she did us tonight. We will take our business elsewhere in the future and we feel everyone else should as well. There are numerous ways this could have been handled differently. We feel like they don't appreciate all of the money we have spent in the past and it's people like us that keep a place like this in business. We should stand up and demand better service than this! Just saying, what's this world coming too, when businesses doesnt want to take your money!

Awesome atmosphere outside by the magnolia tree. If any complaints it is with there only being 6 beers on tap.

We love sitting outside at the bar. The drinks are well made and the atmosphere is perfect.

Did not stay at the hotel but had dinner at the restaurant. Wonderful food and great service. Definitely worth the price. Will be back soon.

They just started serving lunch. The fish tacos are really good. Great place for a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
