Clean, good for a night or two. Eighties decor. Maybe seventies. Will stay again.

Was definitely a good value. Not the nicest hotel but solid for the price. Free breakfast and salt water pool were nice additions. Free Wi-Fi too. Woman servicing the breakfast area was among the nicest and most accommodating I've encountered. Location is nicely right in the middle of Northampton and Amherst. Would stay again.

Hotel is clean and staff has been helpful. Area is quiet at night and a good place to stay.

This place was awesome! Clean, nice amenities, comfortable bed, great pillows, pet friendly, totally reasonable price and quiet! I would absolutely go there again to get away for a night even though Ilive in the area and would definitely recommend it to anyone out of town as it is close to both Amherst and Nothampton, as well as, 91.

A simple clean hotel that serves it's purpose. The breakfast buffet was decent with bagels, eggs, sausages, cereal and pastries. It is located in the middle of Amherst and Northampton. If your looking for luxury this is not the place, but if you just need a place to crash this does just fine.

Comfort Inn is now Roadway Inn. Staying here for a conference but rooms were not clean and my colleague had to ask for a new room because the deadbolt didn't latch. Drawer fronts on the dresser in my room were falling off. Generally old and tired hotel in need of an overhaul. We canceled our second night of the reservation and relocated to the Hampton Inn just down the road.

Beds? Yep! If you pay money you can sleep here! Great for watching cable if you don't have it at home. Quality light switches.

It's no longer a Comfort Inn. It is now a Rodeway Inn. It was awful. The sheets on one bed were threadbare. The deadbolt on the door didn't work. There was a man walking in the hallway at about 1am; he was talking loudly to himself. The front desk clerk barely said a word to us at check-in, she certainly didn't tell us about breakfast. Oh, and there was a sign in the bathroom stato g the amenity prices because that are stolen so frequently. Never going back there.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. The inability to turn the fan on the heater off made the room so dry I was getting up every hour or two to drink water, and my eyes, nose, lips, and throat were all dry in the morning. On a night that was less cold this would probably be less of a problem. Breakfast was mediocre, as per usual. Overall, met expectations. Would visit again.

Decent lodging for the price. Close to many restaurants, stores and malls. Wish the staff was nicer, would've given a better rating. The only nice employee held the door open for me and tried to say welcome after I thanked him. Good luck with the front desk staff though.

Comfy, cozy spot very convenient to shopping and dining. Not the most aesthetically pleasing sight from the road, but very clean and well-maintained. Would definitely stay again!

It's nothing special but I liked my time here.

This is my second time staying here. I travel a lot for business. I have to say that the Comfort Inns have really comfy beds and pillows. It equates to a great night's sleep. This location has a seafood restaurant attached, which is convenient, for sure. The prices are alittle on the higher side for an ambiance that does not match. The restaurant is noisey and cold in decor with a bank of TV's, like what you would expect at a sports bar. The food is okay, but just simply priced too high for what you get. I would recommend the restaurant simply based on convenience only. Now, getting back to the hotel. A clean room with a comfortable bed and pillows. Standard with Comfort Inn's. I noticed, this visit, that there was a car parked by the trash cans, with the appearance that the unfortunate occupant is homeless. It gave me a sence of the location, that I needed to be more aware of my surroundings, just more than usual. I did see "other guests" that I would surmise, did not fit into the usual business traveler, construction guy on a job away from home and most certainly did not register as a tourist. So, I will be more cautious on my next stay here. The hotel is convenient to a number of my customers, so with this in mind, I will probably stay here again.

I love this place. I don't know how they do it, but the staff at this place goes over and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. I stay in a lot of hotels. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. It's a great location for Umass. I could'nt ask for for a better experience for the price!

Beds are comfy — great pillows!. Pool is warm. Breakfast was quick and convenient. Rooms clean. Only con, shower was cold sat morning. Front desk said they were working on it.

Older hotel with a small gym and an ok inndoor pool. Advertises with free warm breakfast, but it's a tiny selection and seating area. Staff was most helpful and that helps a lot. Ok for spending a night but would not recommend it for a long stay.

Friendly, helpful. The exterior reminds me of old lake neighborhoods, but don't let that fool you. The rooms have been recently redone! Clean with ample space! Sm fridge and micro ~ always nice. Hot breakfast with a friendly staff to oversee. We were right by the elevator and were NEVER disturbed with any ambient noise from it. Housekeeping did an amazing job, too!

Location is nice and close to UMass. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean.

This was the most affordable hotel in the area at 189.00 a night. Upon walking in you can definitely see that although they try to keep the place clean it's just extremely worn down. Smelly room, old furniture and dated. Best thing they have going is the linen was clean and bed was comfortable.

Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean. It's a pretty standard Comfort Inn. The desk staff are very amiable. My only complaint is the walls are pretty thin, so you can hear a bit of noise from upstairs and the hallway. The decor is a bit outdated, but that doesn't bother me. For a low priced room, I couldn't ask for better.

The shower/tub drained very slowly, and it always bugs me when, as in this case, the sink for cleaning one's hands is outside the room with the toilet, but otherwise the stay was pleasant. Breakfast was tasty, if a bit cramped, and the staff were very friendly.

This is as good a place to stay as any if you're visiting colleges in Amherst. It's one of a number of inns strung out along Highway 9 with little feeling of quaint New England town. But the rooms are clean and in good shape and you get the usual generous Comfort Inn breakfast featuring a waffle iron. Orienting yourself: Comfort Inn is one of the first motels you'll reach after leaving the interstate, but it's still a couple of miles down the road in the darkness. No, you're not lost. There's a big shopping center a little farther down and then a couple of more miles to the town center where U Amherst can be found.

Dont listen to bed bug post! Seeing as how I stay in a dozen + hotels a year, I notice the little thing. First, the bed are extremely comfortable, room very tidy, bathroom very clean. The towels in the room are very soft (most hotels are rough) the front desk (didnt catch her name but shes a cuties) was very cordial. Would definitely stay again!

I sent my grandma to this place bec I just moved into my house and its a bit chaotic THEY HAVE BED BUGS my poor grandma shes al bitten up and scared to sit on any of my furniture when she told the front desk clerk he did not seem surprised I really hope this is not a problem I really hope she doesnt take them to her home or infest mine STAY AWAY BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS I will tell everyone that will listen what a horrible place for knowing and not telling BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS! bed bugs can ruin your life.
