We were here for 5 days. Staff were all great. The bed was so comfortable and the shower head had great water pressure. Has a gas fireplace in lobby. Breakfast offerings suited all appetites and diets.
Recommend highly!

Great hotel, friendly staff!

I just don’t like it. Not a fan of the weird room layout. No mini kitchen. Fridge and microwave are tiny and inside a dresser with a TV on top? Its weirdly awkward. The main elevator clunks like it’s gonna break. Not confidence inspiring. End of my negative review. Glad it’s a one week stay only.

Was there for a nearby wedding. Great location, lots of eating establishments nearby. Clean, fairly quiet. We were on the 2nd floor, so we had some noise from the floor above, but this was at 10am, so not really a problem. Staff was easy to deal with.

Front desk employee Kate should receive a raise based on how she handled our stay here. After coming into town at 2am and being told that our room at another hotel was booked (regardless of what our reservation said) she graciously found us a room, a better rate, and piece of mind — all with a smile. The room was clean and nice. The halls were quiet. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for a week with my teenage step daughters, husband, and toddler. We enjoyed it here breakfast was good, not above average, but I looked forward to it every morning lol. The front desk was helpful when I called needing baby blankets or coffee/creamer. The shower heads are nice and strong, wide. Blankets and pillow cases smelt cleaned, fridge was cold, could be colder. The only reason for 4 stars is because our bath clogged when taking a shower and didn't drain all the way, it wasn't too bad though to have to mention it to the staff. Enjoyed our stay, would stay here again! Thank you Holiday inn.

Nice, clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Convenient to shopping and dining. I wish Holiday Inn Express would improve their breakfast. Of all the chain hotels I use, this breakfast is the least satisfying. That is NOT this locations fault. I hearsay a new breakfast is coming.

This Holiday Inn Express was fantastic! There’s a pool, hot tub, yoga room, and even a couple of treadmills. Plus, there is a nice patio and yard area, and the breakfast has an excellent assortment, much more than we anticipated! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

The room was clean and seemed fancy. The sheets were AMAZING for hotel sheets, soft. The bed was very firm, my wife didn't like it but I slept great. The free breakfast has warm food and pancakes, not your standard muffin bar (though pastries and fresh fruit were available). I enjoyed the pool and jet jacuzzi was fantastic. This is our second stay here overnight and we will definitely stay here again. Better than the hotel closer to Northampton on the same road. Great distance from Northampton, Hadley mall, and Amherst.

I would rate this place a one but the staff was very nice and I want to give them credit. However, the hotel itself was way below the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. First, we had to circle around the main road many times as we couldn't find their obscure entrance to the parking lot. Wi fi was not working which posed a problem because we needed it for our research that night. The breakfast was really gross: cardboard eggs with cheese wiz inside and possibly microwave bacon. Yuck. When I asked for an extra blanket, they gave me two thin sheets instead. I was cold at night. Speaking of sleep, the bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, no exaggeration. It was rock hard and also had a huge lump in the middle. Sleeping on it actually damaged my right shoulder, since I sleep on my right side, and I've been hurting since then (over a week ago). I'm really upset about that because now I have to get my shoulder fixed at a chiropractor. It was over priced for a room that overall just wasn't that great… Please fix your bed!

The staff is very warm and friendly. Breakfast was more than expected. Clara was very attentive and make us feel like home. It it the best deal for your money.

Recently our client, touring musician James Wallace, stayed at this property and had nothing but amazing things to say. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite checking in after midnight. He enjoyed a great breakfast (on the house) to start his day off with a bang and had a great gig that night thanks to a great night’s rest in a clean and quiet room and a hearty free meal. Making our clients happy makes us happy and we look forward to sending more of them here in the future!

Great customer service, clean rooms and great shower.

The worst experience of my life, First off your shower was luke warm, and goes Ice cold at random times, AND I Truly feel discriminated against and violated on my Fourth Amendment right, which protects your privacy. When I checked in 30 mins after I checked in The front office manager Nicole was snooping in my room and let her and the house keepers in when I left the building, She Accused me of "Smoking in the room" She claims she notified me via telephone, yet WHEN SHE CHECKED ME IN SHE (NICOLE) MISSPELLED MY PHONE NUMBER, SO I was notified. I also had a Hadley Police officer come into my room and he agreed there was no smoke in my room at all and I left around 6a. M. This place had extremely unprofessional management, That decided they did not need to notify me of any of this until I received my bill under the door in the morning. The guest's comfort and privacy IS NOT THEIR PRIORITY. Apparently My card was charged an extra 250$ without my consent or acknowledgment and I had to wait for the General Manager (BRIAN) to come back because he was away for the weekend, After speaking with him and stressing my discomfort, he said there hotel can and will enter your room if they feel necessary, EVEN IF YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG, THEY WILL ENTER YOUR ROOM IF THEY FEEL NECESSARY! Although they refunded the smoking charge back to me, I was not refunded the room rate which is outrageous considering your staff lacked professionalism and respect.

The family's favorite place to stay in the area! Always clean, and the breakfast has a wide variety of options.

The room was small and blah. There was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. There was an odor in the hallway that luckily didn't smell inside the room but did immediately when I opened the door. I was also disappointed that there was no market / snack store in the lobby. Instead the only thing available was an old crappy vending machine that was barely stocked. I've stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels with a store in the lobby which is why this Holiday Inn did not meet my expectation for a hotel in this category and price range. Now when I am in Hadley for business I stay at the Courtyard Marriott across the street from this hotel. And if the Courtyard is full, I will stay further away from the office at the Fairfield Inn in Northampton. Holiday Inn Express has some work to do to compete with the Marriott chains in the area.

Customer service is excellent! Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and organized well. The complimentary hot breakfast is fantastic. They even have a yoga room, heated swimming pool and hot tub on property.

The place was nice. I was only there visiting my friends who were staying there. The beds were comfortable. The sign was not where the entrance was so that was confusing.

The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. The only down side was that I had issues with my key.

Wonderful! Room was clean, bathroom stock with plenty towels. A microwave, coffee brewer and refrigerator added an extra nice touch. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was great! Not your standard continental breakfast. Pancakes, Bacon omelets, pastries coffee, juice and fruit were on tap… I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, room was clean and Wi-Fi was easily accessible. Pillows and bathroom were both very nice.

Good location between Northampton and Amherst. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good value for your money.

Prices aren't bad and the location is pretty decent. Short drive from downtown Northampton if you're visiting and the pool, hot tub, and outdoor patio are a nice addition.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast had many options, just needs hot sauce available. Very quiet. Breakfast/lounge area is available any time. Our group got a little loud playing Cards against humanity and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Please accept our apologies. Would definitely book with this hotel again.

It smelled wet and moldy in our hallway and it also smelled like they were trying to cover it up with an excessive amount of Axe bodyspray.

Our room was comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Stayed for my sister's wedding. We had a big party and they made us feel so welcome. Staff is amazing and kind. Rooms are what you'd expect but housekeepers are exceptional.

Perfect hotell for us while visiting colleges. Safe and clean comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast is nice too… ready for the long day. Also accumulate points.
