Wonderful service and atmosphere.

It was wonderful besides the chinaman that walked in our room after barely knocking All he wanted was to give us 1 bottle of water. After to talking to all our friends he did it to them too. Not ok.

Fantastic place to stay! Staff is very professional and accommodating. Spacious room and we loved the lobby bar!

Really enjoyed the stay. The pool and jacuzzi was nice, rooms good size, bed comfortable and short walk to downtown.

Very nice hotel, extremely clean and accommodating. Beds are very soft, a little too soft for my liking but nice. Make sure your alarm is clock in the room is turned off otherwise you’re getting a 6 AM wake up! And hopefully you’ll have neighbors that can turn off theirs otherwise it will keep beeping.

You should not offer early check-in if you can’t have the room ready in a reasonable amount of time. I have been sitting in the lobby for three and a half hours & the staff has no idea how much longer I have to wait. Unacceptable for such an expensive hotel, which I paid in full in advance AND was charged $100 for incidentals. Thank you for ruining my day.

Friendly staff. Pretty atmosphere. 24 hour room service. Peloton bikes in the gym… couple nice restaurants within. Walking distance to Quincy Market. 55” TV in room with Netflix. A must see… the whale watch!

Foodservice and bars were great. All the staff were naturally nice. The location was great, we were convention attendees. Yet if was super easy and safe to walk to the waterfront or down to Faneuil Hall. The room condition was very clean, very tidy. Elevators were never a problem.

Stayed there early october great place but they charged me twice. One throught hotwire and by the front desk. Many calls and e mail since but no return so far. They owed me 350$! I guess that’s hotel policy. Really disappointed.

Clean hotel with good built in restaurant. The Westin has an Irish pub and a cocktail bar attached to their lobby, so it is easy to grab a late night drink. They also have a Starbucks, which gets busy, but has fast service. The gym is small but has 15-18 pieces of cardio equipment and plenty of weights. Locker room with digital locks and a good sized shower. I would stay again.

This hotel hosted a major conference and they were great at providing staff that help the delegates with check in/check out and directions for the different rooms during the conference. Also a great service is that they would rent workout gear for a fee! There is a walkway from the hotel to the convention center, which is great for winter and rainy days. The only thing negative was I put my do not disturb sign the first day. From then on it was assumed that I didn't want housekeeping. So I actually had to tell the staff when I needed housekeeping.

Classy joint. Glad my company paid for it. Very convenient to many places in downtown Boston. If you are going to the convention center, this place is a must since the convention center is next door to the hotel. All of the staff was friendly as expected and there were restaurants on site open late. Enjoyable stay. Wish I could have stayed longer. Oh. And I loved the showerhead.

Pleasant, clean and conveniently located. The hotel was just a short 10 minute walk from the Silver Line stop. It was perfect for me since I didn’t have but one small carry on. The hotel is next door to the convention center so you should expect the “convention crowds” at most hours around the lobby areas; I saw many people during my stay however I didn’t hear any noise or disturbances in my floor. Our room was the expected standard size, nothing to write home about but felt new and was comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu. Our server Clara was very attentive. The food selection was somewhat large and fresh. I would not stay here during a holiday but it’s a great option for an overnight between flights our in town for business or a convention.

Great location for the Boston waterfront, close to tons of things to do and a bazillion restaurants. Great service, large and CLEAN room, and the usual Marriott top of the line bed! Breakfast buffet was superb (but a little pricey. ) Definately recommended!

First time in Boston. This was a super clean hotel with the nicest staff. The hotel is pretty big and it's impressive how clean it is everywhere. If I make my way back to Boston I'll def be staying here. The prices are very reasonable and I felt like first class! Pictures are from the city view room option.

Hotel Staff was simply amazing! They answered all my questions and recommended awesome hot spots. Lawn on D is literally next door. Our room was extremely comfortable. Our XL uber took us to the city at $12 on a Friday night so it is perfectly located for a night out. Thank you for a great time! Matt I believe was his name was great!

Really nice hotel. Extremely clean, fast and personalized service, new and modern finishes, comfortable bed. Answered the phone by greeting me personally when I ordered room service, and they were extremely accommodating. It's also located in the heart of Boston and very convenient for my business trip. Would highly recommend this place.

Incredibly nice staff. Our daughter had a cold and they brought us a humidifier within a few minutes upon request. Room (two full beds) was small but very clean with modern decor. Plenty of storage for a weekend trip for three people. Easy access to the Lawn at D.

I was here for the Robotics Summit & Showcase and the service was absolutely wonderful. The food is great, the staff is incredibly helpful, and the free open bar bar tenders at the convention were friendly. Overall the hotel has a very modern and grand feeling to it. The interior decorations are beautiful. Great place to stay and hold a conference.

I stayed here for an event. I checked in at the time they told me that my room would be ready and of course, it wasn’t ready. I had just walked a mile and wanted to relax before I went to the event. The front desk agent saw me waiting (other desk agents were occupied but still made eye contact. The one who was free looked at me and turned away. ) so I finally check in and the agent says that I can upgrade my room for $20 more. I asked how much it would be and he stated $279. So I agreed as this room had views of the skyline. The agent then asks if I’m traveling alone which I stated yes, his reply was “that’s good Incase you meet someone and bring them back to your room. ” I was in amazement that he said this to me and couldn’t get my key quick enough! I go to the room and the view was amazing. It truly was! So I look around and it’s your average room. I attend my event and everything is fine. I get back and as I go to use the sink, the faucet is leaking… it worked but water was everywhere. I called down and they stated they would look into it. Morning comes, I get my bill, and that $20 upgrade was turned into around $50 due to fees. I had no problem paying but I would have liked to have known that because of the upgrade, the fees would raise as well. I go to check out and again mention to them that the faucet wasn’t working. I was on a time crunch so I had to move fast. The location and view were nice but left a bad taste.

Absolutely wonderful location located in a still-developing area of Boston that will sure to be a bustling hotel destination in the near-future, the Westin Waterfront provides an array of dining options for a variety of tastes as well as all the conveniences you would expect from an SPG hotel. The location allows you to view the busy plane operations at nearby Logan from the higher floors, and provides a welcome respite after a long day of shopping or exploring. I would recommend anyone who values a "metro-Boston experience" during their travels to check this place out.

I spent 3 days at the Content Marketing Conference held at the Westin. The facility was well-kept. Service was exceptional during breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Anytime I had a question, there was someone nearby to guide me to the proper location. When I left my laptop behind after a presentation, the attendant was more than helpful. Looking forward to.

Beautiful lobby with plenty of seating. Large event space was sufficient for a crowd well over 300 to sit and eat comfortably. Wait staff was very kind! Drinks after the event were a bit pricey.

Decent hotel. Great check in experience. Friendly and efficient. Rooms were decent, clean and well appointed. I was quite satisfied. The meeting facilities were excellent and the tea coffee and snack breaks were handled quite efficiently. All in all a good hotel stay experience.

Great location, right next to the convention center, and a ten-minute walk from restaurants. I was surprised by how close this hotel is to the airport. Only about a 10-minute cab ride with moderate traffic. Service is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. As in any hotel, room service meals are way overpriced, so count on eating out or eating at the restaurant downstairs.

Of the best hotels in the City Faith Boston. It is very comfortable, clean, the staff is very friendly. It is 5 minutes from the South train station, there is bus stop right in front of the hotel. In the surrounding area you can go for a walk and enjoy the best views of Downtown Boston. Right next door is the conversation Center building.

Great weekly stay until I checked out. Had 2 different transactions and was given receipts where both cards were charged correctly. Later that day I realized that the charges were reversed. Took numerous phone calls and 4 days to get it corrected and the amounts were now different. They decided to charge me for a bottle of water that I never took which wasn't on my original receipt. Once I asked about this they were willing to correct but again had to transfer me to someone else. That someone else was a recording. The front desk manager was polite and helpful but their business processes and procedures for correcting their errors are not customer friendly. Real customer service is how well you perform when challenges arise, this is where the Westin fails. Westin can swipe you card and get your money immediately 24/7 but to correct any billing errors its M-F 9-5 and 3-5 business days. Totally unacceptable.

Great facility in a great location. Room was excellent. Spacious, huge tv, bed was comfortable, shower was notable with a large overhead fixture. Unfortunately I had a similar poor experience with a desk agent others have mentioned. Nothing inappropriate, just barely recognized my presence. Housekeeping was always friendly. On the whole I'd recommend, despite the lackluster customer service experience.

The location is great. Customer service leaves a desire. Far from the sights of Boston.

What a lovely time we had. From the first moment we got there, Isaac at the front desk who was fabulous, answered all our questions, was always with a smile, friendly and professional everyday we were there ~ was an incredible first and lasting impression. Our bellhop, Muloba, was so wonderful, friendly & professional! He was so great to us! James, the doorman, was full of smiles and fun. He was making everyone feel like they were home. The hotel maids were always with a smile and always pleasant! This hotel was on point! You were always relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Everyone that worked there that you would see always greeted you and were happy. This place goes above and beyond!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The accommodations for guests are top notch. We enjoyed our stay here for an organization event and it did not disappoint. From the start of checkin, our stay was seamless. Our reservations host was extremely kind and thorough from our first greeting. The accommodations included a spacious, modern room equipped for restful sleep and relaxing stay. We enjoyed beverages downstairs at the bar and Starbucks for a caffeine fix located in the lobby area. Another perk was the location of the hotel. Guests are an Uber call or walk away from some of Bostons best spots for food and drinks. The hotel offers a plethora of seating areas to mingle in the lobby, which was incredible after our events were over. Our event held through various rooms and ballroom was stellar. The food was not my favorite, but what was to be expected for a catered formal event. We also were able to utilize the restaurant downstairs. I do not remember the name, but it was open conveniently late, so we were able to snag some tasty, decent bar food and beverages. It was amazing having a spot in the hotel that allowed us to enjoy a few cocktails and late night food "close to home. "

Clean rooms, courteous staff… great place to stay for kids. Awesome gym, pool and hot tub open 24hrs. Plenty of dining choices on site and within reasonable walking distance.

I stayed here for an event some months back. First, beautiful hotel and great location. The cons: front desk agent was awful. Did not acknowledge me and I was the only one in line. Additionally he made unprofessional comments that it’s good that I’m traveling alone as I may meet someone. He was implying that I can take someone back to my room. Lastly, he told me my room wasn’t ready but I could upgrade for $20 more. He did not mention by doin so, I would receive more fees. The room had a loose faucet which I made mention the next day. It kept dripping whenever turned on. Of course this same front desk employee was working and he said he would make a note of it. No apology or anything. I expected a little more professionalism for a $300 room. I’ll be in the area again in a few months but I honestly don’t know if I want to stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the employees were friendly. We went for a convention, and the rooms were set up well. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Except I found one bathroom that was locked at 9:30 pm. So I had to walk to the other side of the building to use a different bathroom. Other than that it was perfect.

The Westin is a really nice hotel, and a great venue for a show. The staff I have dealt with are always very professional and accommodating. I look forward to each of the annual events I attend there. One of which puts a lot of demands on the hotel and they always handle the experience like pros.

Great hotel with all the amenities. Staff was extremely friendly made the stay more comfortable. Location is great if your going to downtown, airport, world trade center, harbor side, and many other popular spots in downtown Boston. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Only complaint I would have is that the TV in the room was small, and parking is not free.

From arrival to departure, the staff and experience were amazing. Donna Frechette was very helpful and kind through booking. We arrived from the airport at 9am, was given a room right away. The gentleman at the check in (Jeraldee? ) was very kind and patient allowing us an extended check out time to accommodate our late flight on Sunday evening. The hand written card from the GM was wonderful. The room was clean, the cleaning staff were wonderful, Juan was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to pretty much where ever you want to go. O'Connors Pub was a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. The gym was extremely well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing following the work out and long days of walking. I cannot say express enough how much I enjoyed the stay! Well done Westin, Waterfront! You have impressed me :) Thank you!

It was incredibly easy moving from wing to wing and there were digital maps that were easy to read if you needed to find your footing. Staff was patient and helpful. Inside the hotel is an Irish pub, Starbucks and a comedy club — incredibly convenient when you're visiting Boston on deep freeze winter months!

Our hotel stay was good. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I like this hotel and would recommend it. It's in a nice location in Boston as well. One bad thing — The TV in the room did not work, and we did ask for someone to come up and look at it. No one came but if we persued further I'm sure someone would have eventually.

Perfect as place, the beds are hyper comfortable.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The only problem was the Check in Lord, Jarderle, very grumpy and didn't want to help us. But apart from him, all spectacular.

I did not stay in a room. I went to City Bar for a company holiday party. It was very nice. We had a private party and were given half of the bar space. The bartender was prompt and I never waited for a drink. The wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and came out frequently as we had passed appetizers. Overall it was a great exoerience.

This is my third time at the Hotel and Convention Center for a recruiting event. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I love that the convention is in the same building and I do not have to go outside in order to get to the convention. There are also many taxis and an easy traveling for Uber. The staff was friendly and attentive. On the day of my check out, they allowed me to work from my laptop for 4 hours uninterrupted while I waited for my flight. I definitely plan on using this hotel next year when I come up for the event.

I attended a professional event with presentations and group seating in one large room, demo stations, registration and reception across the hall. There were no other groups in that area, and it was not busy or distracting. Service staff were welcoming and professional, food and beverage service was high quality. The Westin has its own parking and there is a large lot next door, though in the back. I can from another event a few blocks away; good for ride services, bit of a hike for walking (but hey, steps! ). Lobby area bar and coffee shop; separate bar/restaurant just off the lobby to the left. Very nice and professional.

No free Wi-Fi in 2017? Really? Rooms are fairly hotel basic considering how posh other elements of the hotel are designed to look. I've had much nicer rooms in much less expensive hotels. If you're here, it's because of the convention center and convenience. There's really no other reason to come here. It's just okay.

Great hotel, service and room impeccable!

I feel like the Westin thinks they can get by with just their name alone. The bed was incredibly soft and uncomfortable, and no extra blankets in the room. The refrigerator didn’t cool and there were no outlets near the bed. My husband and I like it cool in our room and everyday we would return to the room to find housekeeping had adjusted the temperature to their liking and it was to warm. One day I had lunch in the bar across from the desk, I ordered the fried chicken and asked if it was bone in or boneless. The bartender said it was a chicken breast. Actually what I got was 3 overcooked, almost burnt tenders sitting atop a white bean soup so bland that even adding salt and pepper wasn’t enough. The hotel only had one location for breakfast which was ridiculously overpriced, ($5 for a cup of coffee, $5 for toast, $7 for side of bacon). The buffet was $25 and had nothing special. It was the same breakfast buffet I get at any Marriott or Hilton property which is included in the room rate. I attempted to use the gym but discovered it was under renovation and couldn’t be used. They offered me the use of a nearby hotel gym, it was raining (hard) and very windy. I was told it was close and I could walk there. Really, in the rain. I decided I would treat myself to a spa day only to discover — no spa. Needless to say I was completely underwhelmed and won’t be spending this kind of money at this property again. The only good thing was the Eggs Benedict but again overpriced at $18.

The location is very nice to be close to downtown and the airport. Great services. I loved hotels that provides pet beds, bowls and miscellaneous stuff for needs for dogs. My pup loved the cleaned and washed bedding. If it's clean my dog will sleep on it. If it's not clean he won't. So I trusted this Westin Hotel Beautiful room and the views!

They charged $50 for Wi-Fi in the room we occupied. We never got the coffee we ordered in the morning so had to go to Starbucks.

Loved my stay here. Rooms were exceptionally clean, staff was especially friendly, food was delicious. I dropped my earring down the sink and they had someone up to get it out for me within minutes. Well done and thank you for hosting our conference.

Very satisfied with my experiences at the Westin Waterfront. The location is great, with close proximity to some very neat areas. The conference / event areas, while not brand-spanking-new, are in good repair, serviceable and appealing. 4/5 stars simply because some areas have begun to show their age slightly but overall a great experience.

Rooms were very nice, though they should use their housekeepers to monitor fixture problems in the rooms (exception, not rule). The services offered were very good… like that Starbucks was in lobby. Good choices for food, drink and gathering places in lobby. Very good drop-off area and good parking.

Location was great to be near the water. The staff was THE best… so professional and friendly. M. J. O'Conners was a great place for a beer and quick bite to eat.

Despite being on the outskirts, not bad located. The convention center is on the side so that it can pass directly from one to the other. The airport is very close to it. The hotel seems very new, rooms are very confortablesy a hall which impresses with its size and design. The breakfast is very good and the employees are incredibly friendly, as almost all in Boston. A pleasure to stay there.

I have worked with The Westin Boston Waterfront many times on a personal and professional level. I have never been disappointed. Their staff and customer service always exceed my expectations and for that reason I always find myself coming back. Tina is absolutely amazing, and always ensures I have the best experience!

Great space for a large event. Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. Service was top notch. Loved the cocktail area outside the large ballroom. Overall a great locale for a large event.

This Westin is one of the favorites that we've ever stayed in! Literally the first exit from the airport, it's easy to get to and very convenient for early morning flights. The free bus (as of August 2012), from the airport drops you off about 5 minutes away and is a great options for coming into town. The walk to most of the main attractions isn't bad, especially on a nice day. We walked from Back Bay ~2-3 miles and Chinatown ~1 mile — a couple times and it was a great time. Within the hotel, the rooms are spacious and up to date as most Westins are! The customer service here was spectacular as they sent up some hot tea for my wife who had a cold at the time and made sure a crib was waiting for us so we could put the little sprout down when we got it. Free cookies and book reading (a la public library in 3rd grade, but without the homeless peeps) highlight the afternoon and it's but a few quick blocks down to the water where you can catch some great seafood and take a romantic walk or just grab something and bring it back to the hotel. Overall, an incredibly pleasant experience and with the added convenience of being close to Logan International.

This "conference hotel" is in a fantastic location and does a good job catering to conference attendees. Rooms are decent size, comfortable and have lots of natural light. Rooms are well maintained. Only a short walk from the hotel to the waterfront where there are lots of dining options. Oh, there is a Comedy Place right in the Hotel.

I just returned from PAX East, witch is the adjoining BCEC. The staff were friendly and accommodating to the con attendees, many of whom weren't guests. We've stayed at the Weston before (though not this year) and always found the rooms to be clean and wel-maintained. If you are attending an event at the BCEC, you can't beat the convenience.

Great hotel. Very nice lobby, with two attached bars, surprisingly good restaurant, complimentary Wi-Fi, and very conveniently located in Boston. Accessible to public transportation, within walking distance of the wharf. Comfortable rooms.

I was in town on Sunday March 6th for the Seafood Expo. We decided to have breakfast at the Westin before the show opened. They wait was about 40 minutes (as to be expected due to high volume of people trying to eat before the show). We were greeted by our server quickly but he seemed very rushed. We ordered two coffees and a water and had to remind him twice. He did not explain the menu, just offered the buffet (most likely because he was in such a rush and it would require less attention from him). All 3 of us opted for the buffet. I was very disappointed. For $24 per person, there were scrambpled eggs, bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, breakfast meats, and potatoes. Nothing more than that. The eggs were not real, you could tell they were a premixed egg substitute. Nothing was very warm. I had higher expectations for The Westin.

I frequent business visits to Boston and enjoy exploring the different hotels SPG have to offer and a gentleman by the name of Matthew Tomkewicz welcomed me prior to. On my arrival in January 2016, I was welcomed with a bottle of wine and some o d'oeuvres! I had an amazing time there and I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Matt! I was able to explore Legal Harborside, Legal Test Kitchen, Morton's SteakHouse, and Smith & Wollensky at my time there. It was a Chilly walk given winter but nonetheless I would recommend!

My employer had their 2015 Holiday party here. The venue was elegant and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent and the party overall was enhanced greatly by this great location.

Great experience to stay here. Nice all but sufficient for workout swiming pool, very helpful staff.

Made a three night reservation, but was unable to arrive the first night. I called to confirm the next day for my arrival and was informed that my entire reservation was given up without any notice. They charged my credit card which I expected, but I don't think it's right that they gave up my reservation. If I'm paying for the room, then why give up my reservation? They ask for a contact # to call, so why didn't they call me before they gave up my reservation? In the future I will sleep in the street before I stay here.

I visited the Westin Boston in December of 2015 for a business conference. This hotel has a nice location on the waterfront — within walking distance of several restaurants and the Harborwalk. The staff was excellent and handled all of my requests quickly and with a smile. The room wasn't anything to write home about, but the mattress was quite comfortable.

I had tried not to publicize the fact that I was scammed by the concierge at the Westin. It is embarrassing that I fell for his scam, but after months of being promised a refund and many excuses, I want everyone to be aware of this hotels concierge service and how they sold me bunk tix to Fenway park. Check out my Yelp review and the photo of the tix (not cheap ones either) the concierge at this hotel sold me. A pole directly in front of us. He showed us photos of the view while at the hotel only for us to arrive to a pole directly in front of us. Should have known when I had to pay part cash and part credit card for my tix.

Great place. Nice room and was not in a busy area. Price was a little more than I wanted to spend for a night in Boston but after hearing what others are paying it wasn't that bad. My only complaint was no Wi-Fi. Even fast food restaurants have free Wi-Fi. The view of the skyline was awesome.

Hmm it was good but Wi-Fi is a major problem I would rather go to a Super 8 hotel with free Wi-Fi than here. I mean its a GREAT hotel but it would be the best with free Wi-Fi or with Wi-Fi priced lowered by at least 50%.

Still charging ridiculous prices for internet like its still 1998 while mobile reception is crap so I cant tether. Kind of frustrating.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is friendly. It is unacceptable to pay $15 dollars for 24 hour internet. SPG we don't live in the 90's anymore. The room rate was $439 and then I can expect free Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was not reliable either.

Everything is very expensive. The Internet is expensive and not reliable. Food, drink, snacks-all expensive. The rooms were nice, beds were awesome, but the desk chair was beat up and there was hair in the bathroom. I enjoyed my stay but for the price, just be aware.

I have been to numerous events here and they always do a classy job here. From a function perspective it was fine. The food on my most recent function here was totally off. It was a steak and risotto dish. The risotto was so undercooked it was amazing that they let it leave the kitchen, some of it was literally crunchy.

Severely understaffed and inconvenient location. Run of the mill business hotel. Nothing special.

I had heard great things about this Hotel. It is called the waterfront, but customers should know they no longer have a true waterfront. Newer buildings have gone up between this hotel and the waterfront. My overall opinion was OK. We felt like needed resources were not readily available without being Heavily charged. We also felt like we were in a food desert in this location. The breakfast provided with the hotel was extensive and expensive at a costs of $23.00 for the bar. A 30 minute round trip walk to Duncan donuts was the best way to manage this cost. You can take a cab (usually out front) for affordable food but then you have a very expensive cab ride. They don’t have vending machines in the building. Keep in mind if you want a cab to take you to the locations within 15 min. Walking, they will refuse to drive you there. They have an option to save 5 dollars a day if they don’t clean your room each day. Just know that this means they also don’t stock your room. So If you need toiletries, coffee, garbage liners, you have to ask for them to replenish supplies. They are prompt in responding. You also have to find a place to dump your garbage. They didn’t seem to understand the need for trash can liners. Phone use. I have AT&T service on a iPhone 4s. My phone continually either dropped calls or didn’t receive them or texts in most rooms of the hotel. If you buy internet service for your stay it is only in your room or the lobby.

I'm not sure if its the beds or the sweet pea lotion but this place brings back great memories. I stayed here at the same time that Vice President Biden did. You wouldn't even know that he was in the hotel. The rooms are neat and clean and the staff are very friendly. The hotel bar was very nice as well and the bartender was very entertaining.

I attended a convention at the Westin Boston Waterfront and was continually delighted by the forethought, consideration, and organization of the hotel staff. They worked seamlessly with the convention committee and volunteers to make sure that events ran smoothly, everyone was safe, and people had what they needed. Although the layout is a bit odd — you sometimes have to walk a ways to get where you're going — the Waterfront is a modern, comfortable, attractive hotel, clean and well maintained. A thoroughly pleasant venue for a convention.
