Had a very nice stay in room in the lodge theme jacuzzi room. When we first stopped in to see about vacancies for the night the front desk lady Laurie was absolutely amazing. She was able to help us get a discount on one of the rooms and talked with us about their rewards. Breakfast in the morning was good. I had a waffle with some of the wild main blueberry topping. Overall a great stay and we will be back.

The room with the beach theme was awesome. Would definitely stay there again. They offer discounts for government and military workers as well.

One star is to many for this drug ridden filthy nasty dump these people were on hotel impossible and got upgraded and told what they needed to do to draw people in but instead they started weekly rentals to meth head junkies and have had meth labs raided by police in rooms next to where kids were and people fighting along with woman being abused by their husband/boyfriend and all the work that was done by the TV show is pretty much looking worse then before cause the owners are cheap and dont care.

Good clean rooms. Not the largest but comfortable. Came down for a music festival and they had a shuttle service from the inn to the venue.

I have stayed 3 times in the past year and a half. They have always given the better rates then the booking sites online. This will always be my place to stay when I'm in the Bangor area.

Tub was wide, shower was plenty hot… just couldn't get the A/C to work. We would stay again. Thank you.

Good breakfast but the beds not super comfortable.

Loved the jacuzzi tub! I usually can't stay any longer than 20 minutes and I was in there for 3 hours! Bed was comfortable, room was clean.

Honestly wouldn't stay here unless it's for one night and you need a place to rest your head other than that it was unpleasant. Beds sucked, I got a rash on my elbows and lower back from rolling around in my sleep. Sheets were dingy as were bed sets. Room looked like it was decorated in the 70's and had yet to be updated. At most hotels your room is cleaned every day but at this one you must call to have your room cleaned. Don't sleep downstairs if you do stay here, you can hear everything happening above you. Expect a rash or major itching while laying in beds. Fridge smelt unpleasant in both rooms and didn't work. 10/10 would not recommend this to anyone.

Room was a good value considering it had the jacuzzi tub. Location is great being just outside of Bangor. My only complaint is that the "Deluxe Breakfast" for the weekend was not very good. Sure the waffles we're nice but the rest of it could have been better. All in all I would stay there again and be happy.

Great prices and decent quality for the money. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The room was great and very well equipped for the price that you pay. They also seem to have a large selection of different rooms during many different times of the year, which can be tricky sometimes with other more populated areas like this.

The staff are very polite and they understand our needs very. Well. I am happy to stay here.

Clean, comfortable rooms with access to all your shopping needs and numerous restaurants, including highly rated on site option. Unique and cozy lobby feel with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very affordable rates with excellent rewards program. Property is pleasingly "Maineish".

Absolute disgrace of a hotel/motel that is in a bad — drug infested area. I stayed here in late November, looking for a home in Bangor. Homeless people live in their cars in the parking lot, starting their cars at 3am to warm themselves, broken mufflers blaring into your room while you're trying to sleep. Massive trash pile dump littering the back of the parking lot. The room was tiny with an old 90s TV. The mattress was old and sagging, the blankets were worn and dingy. Inside the bathroom had missing/chipped tiles, and I could remove the towel rack due to the broken fixture. The staff was unprofessional, condescending, and rude during check-in and any interaction I had after. The manager Brad was incompetent and meaningless. This place was a rip-off, literally.

They need to get profesional exterminators to get the bed bugs out of there. We had to throw all of our clothes away when we got home. I show the staff the bugs right on the bed and they send us to a different room my girl had bugs bites all over her skin.

I went with my dad to a little trip to Bangor. It was really nice. I talked to some of the staff and they seems welcoming and friendly. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were done up nicely and cute. Breakfast was great. They had waffles, yogurt, cereal, apple juice, coffee, eggs… And EVERYTHING was tasty! I appreciate everyone's kindness. Check in was great, and so was check out. The person working the breakfast was nice. The ladies working the front desk that night/morning were super kind, super polite, and seemed great!

Decent size double room, clean, no frills. Included breakfast is cereal, waffles, or bagels/toast with coffee or tea. Convenient location to Bangor and an easy drive to Arcadia.

I was only here one night and that was because the weather caused flight delays. Older hotel but it was clean and reasonably priced. The staff was very nice. I checked in after midnight and they were there waiting.

We arrived in Bangor due to a medical emergency at the same time the whole city was filling up with festival-goers. The friendly and helpful staff here found a way to fit us in, and continued to accommodate us when we extended our stay twice! Our clean, quiet, and very comfortable room was the perfect place to recuperate! Many thanks to Brad, Cheryl, Liz, and the rest of the staff! We look forward to coming back to Vacationland Inn for an actual vacation.

One of the worst hotels I've ever had the pleasure to be accommodated in. Filthy showers, old mattresses (springs of the mattress will make you hurt in the morning), untrained maids, very noisy, elevated, A. C. Units, private parties behind our room, un-kept grounds in the rear (Sanford and Son type of mess) and best of all… "owners" children rummaging through the food pantries. I'm sure there are regulations where food is not to be handled by children and have the unused portions be placed back into the "locked" pantries. The coffee might of well have been hot water as it didn't have any flavor or strength. One of the three waffle irons produced a nice waffle. To be fair, the yogurt was very good and we thought the TV was good as well, however, you couldn't hear the TV due to the noise of the A. C. Unit. The man at the front desk, on our last day, was very pleasant. My wife and I are both in the medical field and were appalled by the amount of mold and filth in the room. The carpets "rolled" as they were loose and stained. Oh, bring your own shampoo and soap. The shampoo provided comes in" ketchup type" packets. The soap is thinner than 2 quarters stacked. So, if you want a Motor Inn experience at 3 times the price. This the place for you! The pictures attached show some mold, trash which remained for 6 days and a shower which has rollers which don't work.

Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Room was dated and housekeeping did not empty trash from previous guest. Breakfast area had a lot, of seating but limited options. Was too run down for our preference and would not stay again.

This is a great place to stay. Very clean, quiet and super friendly staff. Close to many attractions. Recommend to both business and romantic getaways. I feel like the ownership truly cares about their guests and puts a lot of money back into their hotel. Keep up the great work!

The location is easy to find, and the room that I saw was very clean and homey. I wasnt the actual guest but I didnt hear anything bad about the service. Also I noticed a cool piece of paper to write suggestions on.

Check in great. Customer service great. Bess great. Cleanliness… meh. The bathroom setup was odd and awkward. Continental breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely return though as everything else isuch more expensive.

Big rooms, 3 beds. Keurig machine! Air conditioning. Entrance to outside and inside of hotel. Cable. Refrigerator. Lots of space and very unique looking hotel. No complaints here!

Rooms are great. Very nicely decorated. Breakfast was advertised as continental but surprisingly had waffles with berry compote. Seems to be a little shady. Police do a loop regularly. Great location to the beach areas and Baxter state park.

Had a great time. Stayed in the seaside wing with two queen doubles. Rooms were large and spacious. Nice decorum, nothing super fancy but really felt cozy. Breakfast was good, they have double sided waffle makers (blueberry sauce on top is their selling point). Wish they had some eggs or sausage/bacon to go with it. Staff was friendly. Was watching Hotel Impossible while in the room and their episode came on! I had a great stay, will recommend it in the future to others going through Bangor/Brewer.

The website makes it look like a resort but it's basically an OLD apartment building. I was very disappointed! We saw hookers! The doors don't actually lock, it varies I guess based on the room. Ours could be locked from the inside with a chain. It's a non smoking room but my tub had cigarette burns on the ledge. The fridge smelled like rotten milk and was warm. Luckily I had a cooler/ ice chest. I called at 8pm and asked if there was a laundromat. He said yes a laundry room that you need a key for. (nothing about time limit) I served my family pizza and went down at 9 to ask for the key. He said it's too late and people are sleeping. I explained that I'm a nurse and I work long hours and I need clean scrubs for tomorrow's shift. He said sorry. I went to my regular hotel (it was booked due to a concert in town so I chose this "resort") and they let me do laundry. My family ate their breakfast in the morning while I was at work. They said it was the gross powdered milk but the rest of the breakfast was yummy. My husband said when they went to shower in the morning, there wasn't any more hot water. Next time I'll pay the extra $80 and stay at a fancy chain hotel. I just wanted to experience the Maine culture there. Ha.

Awesome hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Only stayed one night, wish we could've stayed longer. Great breakfast bar with a good amount of options. Definitely will be going back when in the area. They except dogs.

Spacious, well decorated room with very welcoming staff. The interior looks surprisingly upscale for the price and location. Would certainly visit again.

It is adequate. Good service. Feels like staying at grandma's house. We were traveling and the front desk arranged for us to have a fan. That was awesome.

I booked the Vacationland Inn based on website recommendations. The room was spacious, beds were nice, and they really kept it extremely clean and it had a rustic feel with subdued lighting and a nice ambiance. The bathroom was especially nice, very cabin-like. The AC was superb. The people at the desk were friendly and the lobby area is very cute and comfy. They're right next to a great restaurant that has one of the best fish chowders I've had. The area is nothing to speak of: industrial park with some fast food, basically, but you're probably not staying here for the nightlife anyway.

Very very very clean. Matthew was incredibly nice and informative. 10% discounts at various restaurants. Excellent parking, breakfast and showers. Will stay again.

The check in experience was a good experience. The hotel staff never asked if we had a pet, so my assumption was it was known because I booked the stay on expedia. Next day the hotel staff called with a reminder we owed 10 bucks. Then when I went up front the desk clerk wanted to argue with me. Are you kidding me. 10 bucks you were worried over? 10 bucks wasnt the issue we knew the fee was due, but to make a fuss over it was an insult and made me feel as though we were trying to dodge the fee. Bad customer service skills. The bed were not comfortable, but location was aplus.

The staff is really friendly/competent and the room was comfortable and nicely decorated, but there were some issues. We arrived when the hotel was nearly fully booked due to some area events and there was no place near our room to park. We were assigned one parking space, but someone else was “illegally” parked there, and there were no other spaces anywhere near our room for us to park. We had to park a couple of lots away, which is hard with all your bags, etc. It took a long time for the front desk manager to locate the owner of the car and get him to move, but he finally did. Also, the Wi-Fi was not available in our room until we were nearly ready to check out. And the tub in the bathroom seemed to have a bad clog; it filled up nearly full while I was just taking a quick shower. And we didn’t seem to be able to control the temperature in our room… I tried the thermostat many times but it didn’t seem to make any difference. Other than that, it’s a cute place with some nice Maine décor in the check-in lobby, and the room seemed very clean with modern amenities.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon, visiting Acadia National Park. It was one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the area, about a 45 min drive to the park. The rooms were really clean and decorated really nicely with Maine/"up north" theme. The continental breakfast was really good, and the staff was really nice.

The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even my visit with a broken ankle was enjoyable because made sure I had a room on the ground floor and one of their maintenance employee even offered to help bring in our bags to our room. They also they keep making changes to better their establishment. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Really beautiful themed hot tub room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Nice and warm with fireplace. Great ambiance. My only complaint was there was no place to put your suitcase. No holder and, since it was snowing, with no mat by the door, we tracked snow into the room. If you are staying for more than one night, just be aware that there is no bureau. Other than that, lovely stay.
