Bar Harbor Hotels near Frenchman Bay

We spent a few nights at this establishment and have been incredibly impressed! The room was adorable and very clean. The location was perfect — quiet, but still walkable to the main town.

10-15 minute walk from downtown Bar Harbor. Easy access to Park Loop Rd.
Breakfast delivery, ordered online, with tons of options. Needed the heat and AC this week 😀and both worked beautifully.

From start to finish, an outstanding experience! The complimentary breakfast had some great healthy options and the staff did a great job of keeping everything well-stocked and clean.

Best hotel and staff we stayed at our whole trip. The breakfast had gluten free and a whole coffee bar full of options and they had ice and a coffee and snack station on each floor.

Visited Maine for the first time with my wife and our travel friends June 2-6. The weather was perfect all week and the hotel was absolutely fantastic.

My husband and I just finished a 15 day roadtrip through New England and this was our favorite hotel. We are both big on service and Bayview delivered! All the staff were exceptional and professional.

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed staying here. We loved how beautiful everything was and appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property.

The whole experience was magical! We could not have had a better innkeeper. Stephan was exceptional! Breakfast was perfect every morning. All staff were very friendly.

It was a cute motel with updated rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. We even had a view of the harbor from our room with a nice little balcony.

Check-in was easy and smooth. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed! The massage chair was such an unexpected bonus — wow!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location and fantastic suites. Very, very comfortable beds. The new building has mildly cheesy fake fireplaces while the older building seems to have real (gas) ones.

Great place just outside the town making it somewhat quieter and relaxing. Being on the hill you get wonderful views of the harbor especially Bar island and its low tide causeway.

Outside Bar Harbor so you'll need to be willing to walk. Free parking though, so if you want to brave the parking in town it's practical. Friendly. Good view. Huge room and lovely comfortable beds.

Room was very clean and very comfortable. My only issue with the room is that the bathroom has seen better days. It has not been updated in years and the tub was literally chipping apart.

From the outside and some reviews of this place it didn’t seem good, possibly old and not clean. But we booked anyways and it was gorgeous!

What a gem and somewhat off the beaten path tucked up on the hillside with fantastic ocean views and sunrises right from your room (request ocean facing).

The lay out is wonky. Pool was literally 2 buildings away. Bathroom was small.

The motel is part of a larger resort with multiple buildings and plenty of amenities. Old style motel feel which I love.

We had a basic room with two double beds the beds were comfortable I liked that we had a window that you could open. Bathroom was roomy.

The location is is right across the street from the ferry to go to Nova Scotia so you get a beautiful view of the water. The staff was nice and accommodating.
