I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years and they are wonderful! It’s very very clean, updated rooms, comfortable beds and they try to accommodate anything you might need. Close to beaches and Guilford CT which has a lovely green with boutiques, beaches and chaffinch island.

Far nicer a stay at this hotel. The owner was courteous and accommodating. There was all the amenities that I was told and asked for. The room was clean and the rates were reasonable.

This place is too expensive the blow dryer didn't work the bed was too tall you couldn't get in and if you were short there is no safety mat in the tub we can fall break your neck the one thing this place was clean and size floors are kept up nice.

The man at front desk was nice. Check in is after 2, I needed it a bit early and he just asked for time to clean room first… I told him to take all the time he needed… hard bed but clean. So far it's not bad… better then Branford Motel down the road!

Love the owners. Always stay there when I come 8nto town.

Even though the pace does not have that many rooms it has non smoking and smoking rooms, the help desk is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Room was clean but had strange bathroom set up. No place to put things in sink area, no hand towel. Was close to family so location was awesome.

The room was decent. Very clean for the price. Flat screen tv, microwave, and fridge in room. It is a smoking room, however, it did not reek of smoke. It does have a window that opens. The downside. No coffee pot in room, very thin towels, parking lot is shaped funny, so it may be tight to back up depending on where you parked. Overall, I would go back.

I had a blast visiting Peppermill Resort, the room was big and comfortable — way too comfortable, I did not want to leave that bed. I ate in 3 different restaurants inside the hotel and the food was great in all of them, and the people were very friendly. I would 100% recommend it to someone else.

Cozy motel, nice neighborhood!

Clean, quiet, reasonably priced. We got a good night's sleep. Breakfast coffee is available, but not breakfast "goodies".

Messed up our reservation and tried to make us pay for two rooms when we only booked one. Threatened to hold our paid for room hostage unless we paid for second room. No one on staff spoke proper English and their teenage son fumbled through most of the paperwork. The entire place was a sketchy dump to boot.

This place was clean, clean, clean! I'll give it that. However, the door in the jam was loose, and sure enough, a repair had been done for part of it — — looked like the door had been kicked in at some point. A stabbing took place right across the street and I was out of there in three minutes! All kinds of sketchy characters around the periphery.

The motel is clean and reasonably priced. Perfectly located to catch a cruise boat to the Thimble Islands and minutes from Guildford, which has nice shops and places to eat, especially Whitfield’s on the Green. When planning my next trip to the area I will definitely stay here. The staff is nice and accommodating.

Busy traffic on both sides of the hotel makes for a noisy night. For a whopping $76.50 per night, plus tax, the hotel offers: — no coffeemaker in room. Go early in the morning to the office if you want coffee. But find the office locked and no one in sight. So no coffee. — no bottle opener in room. A fifty-cent piece of metal, and they can't mount one in the room? Luckily, I opened bottles by banging them on the hinges of the TV cabinet. — only two extremely worn bath towels, even though three people checked into the room. And the ones they had had clearly made a LOT of trips through the laundry in their long lives. — a remote control with no power button. Finished watching? Get up out of bed and turn off the TV like your parents used to do. — no clock. Aren't these things about $8 at Wal-Mart? — no little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, etc. Luckily, they did offer a bar of soap. The sign out front says the hotel is "AAA-approved, " and I found the hotel through AAA, but I'll be more careful about following AAA's hotel advice in the future. I wouldn't stay here again.
