I’ve been bitten there TWICE by bed bugs. First time I didn’t see them but was bit and the second time I caught them. My children were also bit by the bugs and I was given an extremely hard time to change rooms. They were crawling on my kids luggage too. Then they told me they’ve never had a complaint before when I definitely complained both times about the incidents. They are extremely rude and nasty.

Got the room w/ the Jacuzzi. Didn't know how to turn on, front desk said it doesn't work and no one has ever complained. Well, I did. Got nothing for my inconvenience. They just insisted it worked, they were wrong last night… and nothing. Pool was fabulous. Clean. Very cold water! Room was very clean, so was the Jacuzzi. No evidence of bed bugs. Stay was OK.

I would not, under any circumstances, recommend your family pet stay at this Days Inn, let alone you or your loved ones. This facility suffered from a "power outage" during my stay (4 nights) leaving me without heat for two nights in March. The owner was not on the premises; nor was there anyone in the office to answer the phone or explain why we were without heat. They eventually taped a note on the closed and locked office door and abandoned the place. Upon checkout, I requested a credit for the 2 nights and he claimed he "couldn't do that. " Upon writing to Days Inn, they responded with ball-faced lies stating someone was on the premises "24/7. " Then why did Days Inn Corporate tell me to call "911" and report the property as abandoned (and without heat). It wasn't bad enough that their breakfast sandwiches were date expired, their orange juice was sour, their Wi-Fi and Internet didn't work, but to bald face lie to a customer so as to hang on to the dollar is beyond comprehension. Conference Center? Right, if you can get around the smell of marijuana and spices, and navigate the pot-hole infested parking lot, have at it.

Looks nothing like the pictures, so run down! They told us the pool was useable and when we got there it was empty.

Run down. Bathroom door wouldn't shut, painted plywood decor.

I'm so disappointed in the service of this place. Its dirty. The towels had hair all over them. I called the front desk 4 times for clean towels and I had to wait 30 minutes! Very unlikely that I would refer people here.

Great drive in Hotel, spacious and clean, good breakfast and staff was very attentive Safe and close to the US1 highway.

Adequate room. Terrible continental breakfast.

Seemed nice, ended up staying at Branford Motel for my weekly needs (265 as apposed to 400+ at Days Inn)

We stayed there for two months while our home was getting prepared for us, 4 son's 3 in college they were very accepting of our situation while my son's were home from school. We also have a huge dog he is like a cow. They were extremely kind. They always respected any requests that we asked about. Instance if there was a family that was placed in the room above us with small children that ran amok like young children do. They always politely moved them to a room away from the room above mine so that my dog wou not bark all night. Keep the entire establishment awake they were very kind they always cleaned. We had a wonderful stay.

Very nice place to stay. I was impressed by all the staff within the hotel, even when I asked if they could organise hiring a taxi for the evening they were able to arrange everything. The room was very comfortable in every way!

The owner of the Hotel is super rude and not cares about anything. The Hotel is noisy, Discomfort, old fashioned and not safe. The Sheets have strains and there are flies and bugs inside the room. Additionally, I stayed on the property and housekeeping left my door wide opened after cleaning while I was out for some business meeting. Upon Return, my clothes I should say very expensive clothes were stolen from my room. After speaking with Managmemt and Hotel Owner Mr And Mrs Patel they refused to reimburse and deny that anything could that have been opened. I insisted to pull the surveillance and his Repsonse Was (I won't sit here and look around for 2 days). I strongly recommend not to use this Hotel as your expensive stuff could be Stolen and the owner of the Hotel and his wife takes no owernship in fixing any issue. They really don't care for your business. Lastly, I have try speaking with expedia and they are no help. Be careful with the Hotel l, if possible stay away and never book this Hotel whether for a short or long term stay.

Outdated and our non-smoking room reeked off smoke.

I'd only give this hotel one star because of the prices other than that the rooms are dirty and disgusting and maintenance is a problem. I paid over $700 for a week stay in one of these rooms with my husband and two babies. For my last 3 days the same lady on the housekeeping team kept skipping my room and we had trash bags that needed changing, no toilet paper, no fresh sheets, no fresh towels, Other ppls hair in the bathtub (when we first arrived), every time I seen her I would walk outside and ask her to come to my room. And she just walked to the maintenance Room put up her cart away and left and we were left with nothing. So I called the front desk. You would think we would get service after that? nope!. I highly recommended spending the $30 extra for a better hotel.

Office staff is very helpful the manager is always there ready to help and assist with anything and everything thanks guy's!

Fair price and good rooms. Sketchy. Great service from front desk. Air conditioner blasting in summer to prepare for guests.

Only 2 towels in the room despite the reservation being made for 4 people. I asked for towels at the desk which never came. So 2 of us used beach towels that we had in our car for our showers. The pictures tell the rest if the story. Sleep in your car if this is your only other choice.

Rooms were clean. Can't beat the price. Got into my room quickly and had no problems.

Poor! I checked-in on a cold December day and I had to not only turn on the heater but PLUG it in! So I had to freeze for 2 hours while waiting for the room to warm up. The room and bathroom are desperately in need of updating. One of the chairs had holes in the fabric. The door had to be pushed hard to make sure it completely closed. Was it low cost? Sure. But I expected better from Days Inn and wish I paid another $20-$30 to stay somewhere else.

The place looks pretty dated. Looks like a typical 1980's motel. Ultimately, for the cost you can't expect much better. The staff was very nice. The room was fine for the most part. My bath floor towel had a stain on it… not big deal I suppose. The bed wasn't bad, got a good night's sleep. Room had a large fridge and microwave. Breakfast was left much to be desired. Had to nuke the omelet myself. The OJ was out and it was before 7am. Overall the look of the place may be difficult for people to get past, but the stay was fine.

We stayed here for work. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Room and bed were fine. Bathroom was dirty and old especially the toilet and shower. Breakfast was under supplied and very limited. Would look elsewhere for a stay next time.

I stayed at the Branford Connecticut Days Inn during a business trip and had very mixed feelings. The room was okay but the front desk would not make any accommodations (no extra pillows, towels, blankets)

This place is run down. Parking lot is full of pots holes. Water pressure in the shower is horrible. Did not have a phone in my room. TV picture quality was horrible and there were no options to rent movies or see a guide of what was playing. Although the had soap and shampoo, they did not have conditioner. I dont plan to stay here again… ever. The owners obviously dont take care of their property.

That's an awesome place to stay over. I have been there with my friend for a long weekend and the amenities were soo impeccable. Staff and the manager were so helpful in finding out things and also were easily accessible even at the busy times. I really appreciate the service and would definitely look forward for future stays.

Checked in at 3AM so we didn't get a good look at the place until we got up the next morning at 9:30AM. Went down to the lobby for the "Continental breakfast", all they had was oatmeal and toast. The lobby is clean, but the rooms we stayed in were not up to par. The towels were stiff and had holes in them. The beds (2 full size, not queen as advertized) were lumpy and hard. There was a strong odor in both rooms of industrial strength air freshener which was masking the mold-like smell coming from the carpet under the air conditioner. The floor around the air conditioner was spongy, or there was something under the carpet, not sure. The pool is unheated and had a lot of debris floating on the surface and laying on the bottom. The grounds are not well kept, it appears the staff use the area between the back of the building and the fence to toss unwanted items. There was an electrical wire dangling within reach of the second story outside walkway, not sure if it was live, or dead, but I wasn't going to find out by touching it. The wooden gables are painted alternating brown and white vertical stripes and they are rotting. I would not recommend this Days Inn to anyone.

Romantic place i stayed in the jaquize room 116 with my fiancee I enjoyed my stay. The frontdesk staff was very convincing and friendly and she gave me the best price to stay. By giving a good discount this made me feel very happy I wish to stay in this place. Breakfast was very good. Chuck margaritis is the restaurant next door where we had our dinner it was a lovely place to go. Thanks to daysinn for making my stay special.
