Unclean rooms. Needles in the carpet … awful cleaning, rude and bothersome house keeping.

Need to get it together, had to move 3 times, charged my card everytime we switched rooms. The TV kept turning of til it wouldn't turn on anymore. Shall I go on?

Very thin walls… heard the slamming of doors all night. Very rude and dishonest manager. We were lied to by the staff. We ended up leaving after 2 hours into our stay.

Super family friendly. Awesome swimming pool for the kids. Room was spotless. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend it.

Just stayed at this place from 9-6 to 9-10 and had the worse experience. Three rooms it took to find a working toilet and then 4 days of no water pressure. Last morning no running water at all. I had to purchased water in order to flush toilets. My husband thought conditions were better in Iraq when he was deployed there!

I would never recommend this hotel, I had numerous HUGE ISSUES PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! I got married at the Woodwinds and had over 15 rooms blocked off at the Holiday Inn express for my wedding guests. The night before our wedding I booked two conjoined rooms for myself and my bridesmaids to relax and unwind the night before the wedding and to get ready for the wedding the next day. When we arrived there, we were told that our rooms where not conjoined and actually on two separate floors and there was nothing they could do about it. We unpacked all our our belongs into our room including: 7 bridesmaids dresses ($300 each), my wedding dress ($2300), wedding bands, and my engagement ring (thousands of dollars! ) were unpacked and left in the room while we went out to dinner. When we arrived back after dinner it was to my surprise when our room (with over $10, 000 of belongings easily) was assigned to another guest and another guest was given a key and ENTERED OUR ROOM! Luckily theses other guests where honest people who walked in, saw all the dresses and jewelry, and walked back to tell the front desk. I was told I would be refunded for the room that night which NEVER HAPPENED! Not to mention the next day, our wedding guest arrived for 3pm check in and some where waiting in the lobby until almost 5pm! Our wedding started at 5pm! I was told my by the district manager that I would be refunded and I never was! To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

We had a confirmed reservation at this hotel for two room. 10 minutes before arriving they called to tell us they overbooked and only had one room left. They offered to “walk” us to a much lower rated hotel nearby who’s reviews said the rooms smell like “cigarette smoke and curry”… no thanks!

Great customer service, new comfortable beds, nice little breakfast, very clean no smell of smoke and I’m a smoker, there is no smoking allowed on the premises which is great. I was very happy!

The room was really big. I was sharing with 3 other people and there was plenty of room for all of us. The breakfast was great as well. The cinnamon rolls were big and delicious.

I am at the holiday inn Express in Brantford, CT on main St Julie the desk clerk is such a joy to have her serve you that I just had to write this post to thank her. She definitely a reason to revisit. Keep up the good work Julie, I am a fan.

The entire staff was pleasant and helpful, the updated hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Our families were there for our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding. Samantha, Sales Coordinator, who took care of our family was exceptional in seeing that all went smoothly.

I was there for my cousin's wedding. The positive points: the rooms are spacious and clean, there is free parking on site, the staff is friendly. They booked two other weddings since she made the reservations more than six months ago. The wedding party was not able to stay on the same floor. The electricity went out three times the morning of the wedding when we were getting ready. The charges that were placed in error on certain rooms could not be handled with efficiency nor in a satisfactory manner. I had the impression the staff was not trained on their systems and not sufficiently versed in their procedures.

Great modern and convenient hotel. The rooms were large with nice desk to work on and good high speed Wi-Fi. Very happy with this hotel.

Very nice reception area. Receptionists were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast area was clean. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was very soft and comfy. Lots of towels. Had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed here for my cousin's wedding with the rest of the family, and our room situation was nice, but nothing to write home about. We booked our room a few months ago and it was booked under the same reservation as my dad's, with the need for adjoining rooms. Our reservation stated that this would happen, but alas, they were across the hall, which made it hard for the grandkids to run back and forth unsupervised. Breakfast was tasty, but it's just a hotel breakfast, so the bacon isn't always crispy, and my son described the pancakes as pieces of carpet because they were so tough. The building is undergoing reservations, but I didn't hold that against them. I appreciate the effort to upgrade. We stayed one night, so I can't comment on the housekeeping, but my dad's fridge came stocked with the leftover chicken fingers from the previous guests. Note to housekeeping — open the fridge :-)

Very nice inside and out. Staff was very friendly. Suggested even a great place to eat. New I was leaving early and a early check out paperwork was ready for me before I woke up.

The only good thing about this hotel was the lady who checked us in on12/15/17 and let us have a good time in the lobby after our wedding. I believe her name is Samantha. I had to give my card to use for a security deposit and made them aware I would be paying cash when I check out on 12/17/17. I had two rooms one for my wife and one for me. She had used her card to check in for her room and I used mine. On check out I paid cashed and never received a receipt. I was told the charges on my card would be refunded. So I waited a week and nothingthe charges went through on my card instead of saying pending. I called and talked to several people got the run around one week they said it was all taken care and the general manager John would take care of it. He was and still is useless. We spoke on the phone 3 times and I received a different answer everytime. I was told by John that I would receive the refund by 1.8.18 which is today. I called my bank nothing shows from the holiday inn express. Terrible customer service. They’ve had about 3 general managers in the last 7 months.

Check in went smooth. Breakfast was great and had a nice variety. The staff was awesome. We had some special circumstances and they let us delay check out with no issues. Rooms have plenty of room.

I went there to block rooms for my wedding in May 2018. At first I was pleased with the service they gave me at the front desk. She took my information and said it wouldn't be a problem and that someone in sales would be in contact with me within the next week. I waited 2 weeks and called to follow up, left my info again and yet again no response. I called multiple times and finally when I said to the receptionist if I didn't get a call back that day I would go and need to speak to management. Within 5 mins sales calls me back to tell me that Yale booked the hotel. So dissatisfied how they blocked out rooms for potential occupants! Terrible customer service!

This hotel has exceeded my expectations as I tend to be very critical. This place is spot on, large, clean and very well appointed. Frig, coffee pot, microwave, safe, iron, ect. Fabulous.

Stayed overnight as a guest for a wedding. Good complimentary breakfast. The room had all the essentials for me — free Wi-Fi, fridge, and microwave. Excellent stay here.

Only there short time so other than the Styrofoam cup of hot coffee breaking open when I put the lid on it was great!

Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We had several rooms booked for a wedding, and the reservations for specifically reserved rooms were not held for us though we called to confirm the week before. Several of the bills at the end of the stay were overcharged by $60, but they fixed this when we pointed it out. The rooms were also damp.

Absolutely awful. There is construction going on right now, which you don't find out until you get there. Pool was closed, a huge mess all around, and they still have the audacity to charge $134 a night! Most expensive it's been since I've been staying. The worst part was, 8am construction started outside, so much banging. We got in at 2:30am from a baseball game. It would have been nice to sleep in. Granted I get it's not the most expensive hotel, but rediculous for what was going on.

The hotel is in the process of being updated and refurbished. The lobby is still half under construction but it should look good when it is done. The mattress and pillows need to be updated but the bathroom looks really good with the new mirrors. Breakfast was better than average.

I found it to be very loud, you could hear people in the other rooms and hallways. Asking for a room on the top floor may help. I had a late check out and the same housekeeper came to my door knocking profusely three times starting at 9:00 am. The rooms were very nice and I would try staying here again. I wont let the actions of one housekeeper keep me from giving it another try.

Best free breakfast ever at a hotel. Staff helpful and very close to our destination. Will use this hotel again next time. Beds great, 4 pillows per bed, roomy room. Very clean. Never left a comment before anywhere but just had to this time. Very pleased.

The room was clean. Good for the price. However our shower curtain was removed and not replaced the second day. Also I asked for more coffee for the Keurig as it wasn't refilled. After doing so we discovered the disposable cups weren't. So needless to say we weren't able to leave as quickly as we though, being coffee people. Decent overall but those 2 issues cause my to leave only 3 stars.

The first room we checked into the air conditioner was not working the evening housekeeping maid was in the hallway as I was on my way downstairs. She came in and tried to help us with the issue. Then she tracked down the maintenance guy to tell him about our problem he just blew her off like he didn't care we were able to move to a new room with air conditioner working. The housekeeping staff in the evening were excellent the maintenance guy needs an attitude change. Excellent housekeeping staff they will take care of you.

The place looks nice and clean, but beware. This place has the thinnest walls of any hotel or motel I've stayed in, and that's saying a lot. You can easily hear the TV in the next room and conversations. I've changed rooms but they're all the same. Whomever built this place or cut corners by not adding soundproofing should be jailed for greed and stupidity. They charge a high rate but the amenities are cheap. You'll scratch yourself with the tissues and the toilet paper is almost as rough. The sink and tub faucets are difficult to turn, and the tubs are super slippery. The heater grinds loudly at times. The Wi-Fi is as slow as molasses. I'm a stickler for quality and you won't find it here. Sad but true.

Room was nice size. Plenty of room for us a crib and a wandering toddler. Both beds were uncomfortable so I did not sleep well. Thin walls, sounded like we had elephants above us walking around. Breakfast being included was nice and tasted great with friendly staff. Don't think I would stay there again. Also it had slow internet that you had to keep reconnecting to.

One of the worst HIE I've ever stayed in. Evening staff was great but the morning staff was downright rude. The facility smelled like rotten fish. The rooms were dirty, filthy carpets, and poorly maintained. Had a problem with the sink draining, brought to the attention of the morning desk staff (after prying him away from his web surfing) got nothing but attitude. I asked for the problem to be looked into and to have the manager contact me. Neither happened. In would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
