The rooms were pretty clean. Parking lot could use some touching up but pretty good experience.

The receptionist at the desk Edith was very rude she said she had canceled my reservation because my card declined but Wyndham does not require you to pay with the card on file. They only need the card hold the room and you can pay with a card or cash upon arrival. And it was a busy friday night, So instead of giving me the option to pay with a different card she simply cancel my reservation and told me I could not stay there. The next day when I talk to the front desk about it, the lady was very rude and instead of talking to the employee, she actually put me on a do not book list. So the next time I booked a room at this Days Inn in Lake Charles on my trip she told me that she was not going to let me stay there and she did not have to give me a reason why. I travel a lot and I have never delt with hotel receptionist like we did in Lake Charles.

Do not stay at this hotel. My family stayed last night was the most horrible experience ever. A big waste of money. Drugs deals was going on couldn't even sit outside, nasty room didn't clean carpet was so nasty and very unsafe for children. It's so bad I wouldn't even let my dog stay there!

The room was ok but we were stuck watching nick@nite all night bc there was no remote to change the channel.

The rooms were clean but they need to be updated bad … Our room needed some things fixed and I myself actually ended up needing stitches because of a piece of sharp metal sticking out from the end of the bed … Their rates are a little too high for the type of rooms, if they were nicer and actually had a better breakfast then that price wouldn't be so bad … They could also try to keep the pool a lot cleaned than they do and the housekeeping staff (not all but quite a few) were so high on something that they didn't even realize what they were doing half of the time, so they should hire a way better staff of housekeepers for sure …

The Hotel phone did not work, the blow-dryer did not work, the bathtub did not hold water. Also receive multiple little red bites on my legs while sleeping in the bed. And the floors could have used a good cleaning. We will not be staying here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! It is so gross and so hood. There was throw up and blood on the floor and they didn't even want to clean it up nor give a refund. So I left lost my money. It's not even cheap hotel. It's well over priced and the was a hole in wall. They were rude as well. One of the grosses place I ever seen. Beware.

Friendly front desk is the only thing positive. Rooms are disgusting and dingy. Everything outdated, room seems extremely dirty, carpets are horrible didn’t want to take off my shoes. Complex is just as bad, beer bottles everywhere, people hanging around outside shirtless in wee hours and second floor railings and concrete look like they can cave or give out any minute. Motel should condem it’s self. Haven’t and won’t try breakfast. If rooms look like this god only knows what breakfast looks like. Lobby stunk! Trust me if I hadn’t pre paid I wouldn’t have checked in. Doesn’t feel safe at all. I only have to spend 10 hours in room before checking out and I’m afraid to close my eyes or get under sheets. Room door doesn’t shut right. I’m a world traveler and have stayed in affordable places but have never experienced this. Wish the circumstances were different but others need to know the truth before paying upfront like I did. Wyndam should be ashamed of allowing these people to advertise as a Wyndam property. Being so close to a casino, this property should be able to upgrade and make profit. No excuses. I think my next call will be to your city/state inspectors office. Then your city manager. Several fire hazard codes being broken, saw 4 bbq pits very close to rooms. God bless those who have no other choice to stay here,

Wasn't please. Parking is horrible, bathroom had mold in it, dry blood on floor, carpet doesn't look vacuumed or clean. Customer service, not friendly. Wouldn't come back, unless it was an emergency stay!

I found a tick in our bed the first night and a roach in the bathroom on the third night. Was woken rudely by maid service the day after requesting not to have it. Staff also entered our room while we were getting dressed, even though we requested no service. Will never stay there again. Awful experience.

Staff was friendly & accommodating. Room wasn't that great. Carpets look like the original when opened and hasn't been cleaned since then either. Had to pull a. C. Filter out and rinse them myself. Not a family vacation stop.

Good enough to get some sleep. A bit overpriced for the location though.

This is how I was treated at days inn on n. Lake shore dr … lost my job yesterday and said I was the problem really hmmm someone has there prioritys messed up… calling OSHA first thing in the morning.

Workers motel and nicer than most. Stay here few times a year.

Said one price when I called. However when we arrived it was $20 higher plus they wanted me to put a deposit since I was using cash. No one mentioned cash was an issue on the phone nor online.

Not thaaat bad, but you can do so much better than this place for nearly the same price.

This place sucks a lot of dog poo in the grass in front of the lobby.

This place is disgusting. I got there and the front lobby smelled weird, but I figure maybe the room will smell better. I check-in and make my way to my room only to have to wait outside for 15 minutes while the cleaning crew finishes up. I'm not sure why I was given a room that I would have to wait to enter, but that's how they did things. I get inside and the place is disgusting. The bathroom is dirty, the TV doesn't work, the phone doesn't work, and the smoke detector was missing from the wall! I walk down to the front desk and they tell me all of the phones are down and there's nothing they can do about it, but they can look at the TV. After waiting around I decided not to stay as I felt very uncomfortable with the lack of phone and smoke detector and the shirtless man smoking directly in front of my room. I asked for a refund and they told me I had already been checked it too long… never mind the fact that I waited outside the room for them to clean it. After some back and forth between the woman and the man at the front desk, the woman gruffly told him to "just give her the money back" and told me I needed to get my stuff and get out. I ended up at the Motel 6… it was cleaner, more secure, and less expensive.

Very filthy and down right disgusting, blood splattered on floor, bullet hole in molding above blood splatter, hair that wasn't ours in the bed and tub, stains on bed. The room smelled like nothing but marijuana. I've paid less at Motel 6 and loved it!

Nice hotel I highly recommend this and fornt desk was awesome that guy David with beard helped me a lot in finding the things around I will visit this place again Thank you.

To start off with, the staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. That's all the good. They allow guests to party outside all night. My vehicle was broken into and when I asked them if anyone could review the video from the security cameras, I was told that "they don't work at night". I have been traveling for work for 27 years and this is the most unsafe I have ever felt. GOOD LUCK to all that stay here.

A. C. Switch is broken, but still works. They don't have a very nice breakfast. Bed isn't too bad, pillows aren't that great though. Staff is helpful. Not a bad place to stay but don't expect much.

Omg I hope I never have to stay at this hotel ever again! Internet was very slow and eventually I couldn't even connect to it the shower head in the bathroom was way to low almost all the vending machines tried to Jack me out of my money and Everything single noise from outside I heard in the room the breakfast was good TV and air was too other this hotel gets 1 star from me.

Please please dont stay here… first phone did not work in room. Cracked tile in front of toilet shower area not talking one crack in one tile. Several cracks in several tiles. Booger looking crust on wall in bathroom. Bathroom filthy dirty none of us took a shower in there. Other than that it was a place to sleep. Best thing about room air conditioner worked great. Parking lot is full full full get your spot by 10 pm.

The parking is very tight. Be careful with that as space is limited. The rooms were decent, but what really sucked is that the air conditioning was completely off. Hello! July weather, it's hot! Continental breakfast wasn't bad. Price point decent. Best part is the easy location, directly across from the beach. But being right on I10, it's a bit noisy with all the traffic always going by.

Nothing like the photos. Sliver fish in the restroom. Puncture holes in wall. Cracks in the wall throughout. Breakfast is terrible.

Very Nice hotel, our room was clean, smelled good, very comfy bed, big TV, hot shower, their free breakfast was decent. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. Staff was good and welcoming. Overall a nice 4 night stay.

When I walked in, a roach crawled out. I stayed in room 145. When you turn on the bathroom light, it makes such a horrible noise that you cant even pee without being annoyed. Let me tell you why I rated it 5 stars though, because you get what you pay for & Its not bad for 60 bucks a night with DIRECTV.

Clean room. Nice people. Only problem is that our key didn't work when we checked in. Other people who were checking in had same problem. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The room at 1st glance was nice, but then we walked in. Hit with a moldy wet smell. Looked up crown molding was covered in mold. Only thing that looked good was bed. But then we turned back covers on 1st bed. Picture was riddled with mold.

I love this place. The people here are always very nice and the rooms are awesome. It has great TV channels and the restaurant next door is amazing.

Well, compared to the other location I'm which host a Days Inn (Colorado), this one didn't exactly feel as comfortable as the recent one I have visited. The laundry had to be done outside of the area of living, and the food wasn't as easy access at morning. Though, I'm guessing that the reason for such is because the Days Inn in Colorado had their rooms inside rather than outside. As a preference, I prefer it that way.

If I could give zero stars I would! The outside is a little shabby, looks like a few proatitutes and drug dealers stay there. I was surprised how nice the interior of the room looked due to the shabby exterior. After being in the room about two hours, watches a TV show and took a shower. I noticed two little red bed bugs crawling on the sheet as I sat there in a towel on the bed. I pulled back all of the pillows, more bed bugs, looked on the bottom side of the mattress, more bed bugs! I took pictures and video, threw on some clothes and went to the office, showed them the videos and pictures and politely asked for a refund. They declined, saying they just cleaned the room and there wasn't any bugs in the room when they cleaned it. I do not have bed bugs at my house and tbis was the first hotel I had stayed on my trip. Do not stay here. Disgusting.

A little Leary because of reviews I had read. I completed the stay before giving a review. It was great. We were there to attend a concert at Golden Nugget. They let us check in early at noon and they had the air on for us already which was nice since it was over 85 and humid. The view of the lake across the street was nice, the outside pool was nice too. The king bed was comfortable with a pillow top mattress and cover. The sheets were clean and no bugs. The room was immaculate. Fridge was cold and microwave was clean. Coffee pot is for one cup at a time. Wifi was good, flat screen TV and good reception with direct TV and HBO. The room was on the second floor rm 221, stairs are a little steep but not a tough climb. Towels were clean and plenty, there were 5 comfortable pillows… a few stain on carpet but again. Clean. There was no mold, no bugs, room was quiet. A little motel smell but I just lit a candle in the room. The motel was full but the room was quiet. We took a nap even I the afternoon with the pool full, all rooms around us full too and was not disturbed at all. It was a Saturday night we arrived back there about midnight after concert and again slept well with no disturbance… great place to stay… restaurant steamboat bills down the street was awesome too. Decent price and we would certainly stay again. Water pressure great a d plenty hot… try it.

My room reeked of smoke and it was non-smoking. My second room was better though and the staff was very accommodating. Nice people but bad quality rooms. Also there was seamen on my curtain.

Bed bugs… rats the size of small dogs. Foreign owners with little to no people skills. Loud traffic all might long. Drug dealers. Prostitutes. Just to name the larger issues. Do yourself a favor and book a suite around the corner for the same price. Stay away!

Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty room. Carpet is at least ten years old, covered with stains, hard spots, and a dank smell. I had to move the bed to plug in the lamp and found a pile of garbage, including gum wrappers, a filthy sock, a filthy slipper, an old q-tip… remote on the TV didn't work. The hallways outside were full of trash and grime. The walls in the room had stains and pock marks and little holes everywhere, and the room was just horrendous…

This hotel sucks restaurant next door is badass but do not stay here room smell like mildew customer service sucks 12:30 a. M. In the middle of the night I have to switch rooms phone don't work TV don't work room smells like mildew go to a better hotel I rent two rooms here I will never never come back here I want multiple rooms for my guys do not come here do not come here don't waste your money or the companies money huge this place sucks.

This place has great rooms, very friendly staff, and is right across the street from the beach on Lake Carles, can't beat tbat.

I stay here almost every time I'm in town. The staff is very nice and the rooms are always clean.

I find it clean and comfortable. Safe and Privacy, go out without worrying about belongings.

Soda machine or vending didn't work. But was overall nice.

We stayed there a week for work and it was decently priced and the room was also decent. The saying is you get what u pay for and we did. The room was clean and the furniture was updated it's just an old hotel. The only bad thing I have to say about it is parking is limited and if you need to do laundry go to a laundry mat.

UGH — Bring air freshener and tank tops. It's so frigging hot in here. I never really cared much about hotels as long as I had a safe and comfortable place to sleep. The AC is on full blast and I am sweating my bottom off! There is one restaurant anywhere near. I called the front desk and noone answers! Leave a message — — — OMG this place sucks! Keep looking! In fact — I would give zero stars if possible — it does NOT deserve the 1 I gave it… NOT HAPPY.

I went to Lake Charles on a whim with me dad in 2013. Our trip was one of the most memorable trips ever. This hotel was small but it didn't give me that, "Sketchy Hotel" feeling. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nothing was broken, I didn't mind walking around barefoot. Their breakfast options were good and the staff was kind. I was surprised at the two star review… so I decided to add my comments.

If I could rank them lower than one I would. First the customer service is the PITS. Then the room, which had clearly been redone, was not maintained. Crappy AC, no hot water, bugs and hairs all over the bathroom… doesn't matter if you have frickin' 1000-thread-count sheets if they aren't clean! Found out too late, too, that Days Inn management DOES NOT CARE — they continue to let this location suck, just look at the reviews going back.

Worst hotel/motel that I have ever stayed at! Arrived after dark and young girl in front office was nice but not knowledgable the facility or the area. Hotel is located right next to a very loud interstate so heard trucks and trains all night long. Was almost knocked over by the smell when I opened the door to my room… it was an awful mildew odor! Had 3 lamps in the room but only 1 had a light bulb in it! Floors and carpet were filthy and bathtub had bugs in it! There was some unknown substance sprayed all over the bathroom door (appeared to be either blood or vomit) which had clearly not been cleaned! It was so bad that I took pictures of it and would love to post it here but can't figure out how. If it hadn't been so late and freezing cold outside, I swear I would have found another place to stay or slept in my car… it really was that bad! I will never make that mistake again! DO NOT STAY HERE… NASTY NASTY NASTY!

While it was small, but clean and cozy. Can actually have anything bad to say about. Price was also in the frame.
