Rooms are nice and smelled clean. Third night staying here I found roaches. They stay in the floor sealants. Roaches crawling in the bed, on the ceiling, on the floor, also found in the laundry room.

I will never visit here again and I'm appalled this hotel is part of the Wyndham club! The room smelled like urine. The carpet is so old and dirty. The bathroom tub was stained badly. People were hanging outside in the parking lot. And there is no vending machine! I guess $100 is cheap but not where I'm from. This place ain't worth $40 a night.

Don't stay here, over priced the people who own this place treat it like it there party place and don't send there kids to bed, it's 11.30 pm and they're still screaming outside! Not impressed! Don't waster your time! Read my other reviews you will see I don't complain generally.

It's nothing fancy but it's cozy & clean. If the rate didn't increase on the weekends, it would be 4 ⭐

We didn't even check in. As soon as we pulled up, as noticed how bad the area was, despite how nice the pictures online made the property seem. There were crack heads and wanna be gangsters roaming the parking lot. Even the older black couple that walked in behind us rmreauested a refund due to how bad the property was. We went down the road and stayed at Quality Suites, right on the lake, and it was not only much nicer with a better view, but was about $9 cheaper.

Very close to the city center.

It was good because we only used it to sleep and we were in the casinos most of.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend. The staff was very nice. The room we were first assigned 105, had not been cleaned after the prior guest had checked out. We told the manager and she quickly assigned us to room 110. I told her that I did not want room 110 because someone had given specific reasons on a review as to why to avoid this particular room. The manager assured us that those issues had been addressed. The face bowl in the bathroom was cracked and leaked from the bottom. The exhaust fan did not work and was not properly covered. The beds were full size, instead of queen size. The air conditioner worked when it wanted to work. We heard car horns blowing on the parking lot through out the night. To top it all off we saw roaches during the night on the wall and top of the dresser. I do not plan to ever stay there again. The parking was poor because the parking area in front of your room, is not guaranteed. People park where ever and how ever they want. The breakfast is not worth getting up for. VMB Baton Rouge, La.

The only reason this hotel was open was because of the I-10 closings and it is not worth the trouble of renting this cheap hotel. Still the rooms are clean and the smell is nice. The out ports were broken and could not charge anything. I used my computer battery to charge my phone. Lucky there are bug windows so you can have that late night watching.

The room was very clean and nice. They said they had two queens but it really is a full. All the breakfast dry food was old and the muffins or the only thing that was good. The pool extra small. Need bigger towel the hotel did not look the same as online. But I did have a great stay.

Needed bigger towels and when you ask for more you just got smaller towels. Check out is at 11am but they will open your door at 1050am. I told the housekeeping lady that we were still getting ready and she just barged in! She said, "I have to clean the room. " I said' "okay checkout is at 11am, " and she replied yes it's 11 but I'll be back. " I turned to my husband after I closed the door and his cell said it was 1050am only.

Location seemed a bit sketchy at night with the high police presence in the area and only confirmed with the front desk attendant only interacting through a slot in the window of the exterior of the front office. The room itself was nice though. Haphazardly remodeled (obvious one coat streaked painting, quick fix shower and sinks, decor affixed to the wall via unfinished screws straight through) but remodeled nonetheless. Checkout is at 11am and they will be coming to clean and vacate you from the room at 1050. The TV was updated, bed was very comfortable. Don't forget the area serves alcohol (beer and liquor) 24hrs/day every day but Sunday. All in all not a bad trip. Suggest bringing your own towels or asking for extra as the ones given are small and not very obsorbant.

Well let me start I was here for a mouth and no problem my wife come to see me. Two days went by and the woman that owns the hotel stole my wife's ring off the night Stan she was the only one move the stem around never stay here again.

Very Nice Staff, Room was nice could us some updating. Also Exhaust fan in bathroom needs updating, and cleaned.

Decent enough, if smoke smell and old sheets and blankets with cigarette burns in them bother you don't stay here.

Clean and comfortable. Very good and convenient for the price. Room amenities include iron, microwave oven, hair drier, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is basic.

Stayed in room 110. Worst part about the room is the bathroom. The exhaust fan was broken and very dusty. Obviously has not worked in a LONG time. The shower was not clean to put it nicely. Turned on the water and noticed it did not drain well so I had to stand it dirty soapy water while I breathed in excessively humid air because the tiny bathroom did not ventilate. Got out of the bathroom and noticed the AC would not go down below 67. Hit the up button once and it went up to 68 and then would not go down below 68 so I just left it alone. Good news was I had a tiny TV to watch and continental breakfast consisted of a tiny croissant and orange juice. Wow. Maybe all the other rooms are great, but room 110 gets a pathetic score. I don't think the owners care about the place. I told the manager about the experience. He rigged the AC to work, but did not fix or clean the bathroom. I'm sure the bathroom fan and shower drain will get fixed real quick. Wait. I'm holding my breath.

Used NRA discount great customer service got a 10 dollar a night discount stayed for five nights so I saved fifty bucks.

Will be taking a trip home for my Family ReUnion and The Howard Johnson is where we will be staying. We wouldn't have it any other way.

I didn't get to see howard johnson because I tried to call for hours and no one answered the phone I tried to call over and over and over but no one answered the phone so I wander what it would be like if the bathtub faucet broke and I couldn't turn the water off and flooded the room what if there was no toilet paper and I used the restroom and no towels what should I do? o my goodness what kind of place is these do they sleep on the job was there anyone working there what up howard johnson? I know guest pay you for service because iv stayed at a howard johnson in houston and got great service I fill howard johnson in lake charles need to check to see if anyone is there working so I guess ill have to stay at a different inn for the 5 days ill be in lake charles have a great day good luck on our business I know there many and many men and woman who need employment put an add out.
